When Sienna finally opened her eyes, she found herself lying on a bed of soft moss, the air around her filling her nose with the scent of unfamiliarity. She sat up slowly, as she did her head was spinning as she tried to gather her bearings. Moving her arm slightly, stilling, her eyes became bright as she saw Seiya, also stirring awake, her gaze meeting hers in confusion and wonder. ''Where are we?'' he asked her, though she didn't have the answers. Searching, taking in their surroundings, they found themselves surrounded by a lush, verdant land unlike anything they had seen before. The sun hung low in the sky, which created a warm golden glow over the rolling hills, and distant peaks, which created a sense of tranquility and mystery shrouding inside her. ''Where did that guy transport us too?'' Sienna watched with still eyes at Seiya quickly got to his feet, staring down at her, hand stretched out to her. ''Why don't we find out?'' he smiled sweetly. Taking his hand without a doubt, they ventured further into this unfamiliar landscape, a sense of unease lingering in the air, though Sienna tried her best to keep her emotions off her face. The trees seemed to whisper secrets, their shadows flickering ominously in the fading light. The ground beneath their feet felt different than the village, it was almost as if it was filled with a hidden energy. As they ventured further, along the dirt paths, creatures unlike any they had seen before, showed themselves to them. In the blink of an eye they witnessed shimmering butterflies with wings as iridescent as the morning dew, graceful unicorns with coats so silken, Sienna was sure they gleamed under the moonlight, and mischievous sprites that darted around them, pure laughter behind their eyes. But amidst the beauty and wonder, Sienna couldn't stop the knot she felt in her stomach as they ventured deeper into the unknown.
As they found themselves delving deeper into what appeared to be an enchanted forest, the unknown only worsened. The cold freeze grew heavy with a sense of danger, and the once cheerful chirping of the birds faded into an eerie silence. Shadows seemed to lengthen and stretch, ones that hadn't been there moments ago, now casting a creeping darkness over them. Sienna was quick to push herself as close to Seiya's side as she could, as her heart began working up a pounding of the drums inside her chest. ''I don't like this, Seiya. I think we should turn back.'' she said, voice strained and weak as she couldn't even keep her eyes on him. Seiya's gaze flickered around the darkening forest, his jaw set with determination even as a flicker of doubt danced in his eyes. He could feel the oppressive weight of the shadows pressing down on them, a tangible presence that seemed to whisper malevolent promises of danger and treachery. ''We can't turn back now, Sienna,'' he replied, his voice steady but tinged with uncertainty. ''I don't think we could even if we wanted to, do you see the entrance in which we came in?''
Sienna followed Seiya's gaze back to where they had entered the forest, only to find that the path had vanished completely. In its place stood a dense thicket of thorny brambles, obscuring any trace of the entrance they had passed through moments ago. Panic clawed at the edges of her mind as she realized they were truly trapped in this dark and foreboding place. "No, no, this can't be happening!" Sienna exclaimed, her voice rising with fear. She reached out to touch the thorny barrier, feeling a sharp prick against her skin. "It's like the forest itself is...alive, Seiya. We're at its mercy now." Seiya's face hardened with determination as he surveyed their surroundings, his mind racing to come up with a plan. "We'll find another way out, Sienna. We'll keep moving forward until we find a way to escape this accursed place. We can't lose hope now."
But as they ventured deeper into the heart of the forest, the shadows seemed to grow thicker, the darkness more suffocating. Strange whispers echoed through the trees, their voices chilling and otherworldly. Sienna and Seiya could feel eyes watching them from the depths of the shadows, unseen and malevolent. As they pressed on, the air grew colder, and a sense of dread settled like a heavy weight on their shoulders. Every rustle in the underbrush, every creak of a branch made their hearts leap in their chests. The thorny barriers seemed to shift and move, closing in on them with malicious intent. In the midst of this eerie stillness, a faint glimmer of light caught their attention in the distance. A shimmering beacon of hope amid the darkness, beckoning them forward with its promise of safety. A tiny cottage of sorts appeared in front of them, the bright lights of the inside beckoning to them, calling them forward, away from the shadows that threatened them from behind. And no sooner did Sienna find herself running towards the cottage. However what came from it, instantly made her stomach drop, as she cried out.
Seiya's heart clenched with fear as he watched Sienna's reaction, his own pulse quickening as he hurried to catch up to her. As he approached the cottage, his eyes widened in shock at the sight that greeted them. Standing in the doorway was a figure cloaked in shadow, its features obscured by the darkness that seemed to cling to it like a shroud. A chill crept down Seiya's spine as he felt the weight of its gaze upon him, cold and unrelenting. Sienna's cry echoed in the stillness, a sound of pure horror that sent a shiver down his spine. ''I'd like it if you would move away from her.'' Seiya said, his voice steady even though he didn't feel a hint of calmness inside him. The figure made no response towards him, its presence casting a suffocating aura of malevolence over them, however she did move slightly, and Sienna made her way towards Seiya as quickly as she could. Once she was safe, Seiya moved his eyes back to the stranger. ''We didn't mean to disturb you, we're lost, you see. The mysterious figure regarded Seiya with an inscrutable gaze, casting a flicker of something unreadable through its shadowed features. It seemed to consider his words for a moment, as if weighting their sincerity, before finally speaking in a voice that sent a shiver down Seiya's spine. ''You are not the first to wander into my realm seeking solace from the darkness that haunts these woods,'' the figure murmured, its words laced with a hint of sadness as its eyes wondered from Seiya to Sienna. ''But know this - the path you have chosen is fraught with peril, as I know why you have come here.''
''You said you know why we have come here? Does that mean we're in the realm where Alman lives?'' The figure's gaze sharpened at the mention of Alman's name, a flicker of recognition flashing across its shadowed visage. It seemed to consider Seiya's question carefully before speaking in a voice tinged with ancient wisdom. ''You've come to meet with Alman? The keeper of secrets, the guardian of the lost,'' the figure intoned, its words laden with a weighty significance. ''No one has come to search for him in many moons. May I ask why now?'' ''We heard he can take us to the realm of the gods.'' The figure's eyes seemed to gleam with an otherworldly light as Seiya's words, a glimmer of recognition sparking in its shadowed gaze as it considered their request. The air around them crackled with a strange energy, as if the very fabric of reality was shifting in response to the mention of the realm of God's. ''Foolish children. You do not know what you are asking. Why would you wish to go to such a place? Don't you know the gods have abandon this world long ago. They won't see you even if you traveled centuries just to find them.'' Sienna felt her heart pounded in her chest, a mix of awe and trepidation swirling in her thoughts. ''If Alman can take us to the realm of God's, then we will follow wherever he leads, no matter.. You see, we do not have a choice. We stumbled into a situation that only Alman can help us with.''
''I sense pain within you, girl.'' The figure's words cut through the tense silence like a blade, its voice filled with a haunting compassion that seemed to pierce through Sienna's defenses with uncanny precision. Sienna felt a shiver run down her spine at the figure's words, a sense of vulnerability creeping into her heart as she met its unearthly gaze. ''Because of my eagerness for something more in my life, I made a mistake, one that might just cost me my hearing as a punishment. I really need Alman to help us get to the realm of God's.'' The figure's eyes glistened with empathy as Sienna poured out her heart, revealing the burden of guilt that weighed heavily upon her soul. The weight of her confession hung heavy in the air, a palpable sense of regret and uncertainty clouding her thoughts as she awaited the figure's judgment.
"Ah, the consequences of our actions often lead us down paths we never intended to traverse," the figure mused, its voice a gentle murmur that held a wisdom far beyond mortal understanding. "But fear not, for even in the depths of despair, there is a glimmer of hope to be found. Alman's realm holds the promise of redemption, a chance to seek forgiveness and absolution for the mistakes that haunt us." Sienna's heart clenched at the figure's soft - spoken words, granting a sense of gratitude to well up inside her at the notion of a chance, a chance to fix what had been done, a way to right the wrongs that head led her to this juncture. ''I will follow you to Alman's domain, for I seek Alman's domain as well, so please come.'' Sienna and Seiya looked at each for a moment, as they followed the mysterious figure out through the doorway in which they had come through, and back into the clearing of the forest. As the clearing bathed in dappled moonlight, the figure turned to face them, casting along with them a soft glow that illuminated their features in a halo of mystery. In a fluid motion, the figure reached up and slowly removed the hood of their black cloak, only to reveal a sight that had Sienna's mind spinning.
Before them stood a man of striking beauty, his features chiseled like marble, eyes sparkling with a depth of knowledge and understanding, eyes bathed in the bright blue of the sky itself. His presence exuded an aura of otherworldly charisma, drawing them in with a magnetic pull that left them breathless. ''My name is Onix,'' the man spoke, his voice a velvet caress that seemed to warm the chills down Seiya's spine. ''I have watched this forest for Alman for centuries, awaiting the day when travelers from another world would seek Alman's help, and bring me back to him. I will help you locate him.''
