A week has passed, and Magnus is still as stupid as ever. I had to help him with his tie. I mean, how does he not know how to put on a tie? I, of course was beautiful. I was wearing a lovely tea green gown, with a pink wrap. I would have easily camouflaged with the rest of the guests that I saw coming in, but when I started walking up to the line, I froze. Flashbacks flooded my mind, him throwing my art at me. Pushing me down the front steps, and telling me that I was the mistake. I looked down, and saw blood, mine from long ago. From where I landed on my arm, he apparently hadn't cared enough to clean it up. I wanted to wash it away, wash away everything that had ever happened to me here, but Magnus led me to the line.
"Name?" The gruff voice of my ex-bodyguard asked. "Madame Deerheart, and this is my plus-one, SeƱor Bufoo." I had tried to look like Madame Deerheart, but I hadn't seen her since my dad had that affair with her when I was 14. He looked me over and stepped back. I walked in as Magnus mumbled unflattering things about the name I gave him.
I walked us to a corner, "Okay, I do the all the talking, you just follow me around, pretend to be my servant or something." He seemed unpleased, but agreed. I pulled my stole over my shoulders, letting it flow to cover my arms and hands. I saw my father and turned around, last thing I needed was for him to try talking to me.
We kept walking until we saw a lady with something bundled, me and Magnus instictively walked over. Hello Ma'am, what are you holding?" I heard crying. "I know that is you, Alex." She looked at me, her face scarred, she glowered at Magnus. "I'm looking for Mr. Princeton, do you know where he is?" I took the package, "Yes, over there, I'll take this to him."
They took the package back and left. in the direction I pointed. Me and Magnus followed. I heard an argument, "You're a fucking lier, you-you harlot! I'm not taking that!" "Yes it is, please, accept it." I lot of screaming and pushing, I think I even heard crying. Then the package flew through the air, everyone just kind of paused, so I turned into an eagle and flew up. Snatching it out of the sky, I turned into a human, then ran out as soon as I landed. Magnus snapped to his senses and followed. I heard my mother scream at me as I left, "Damn you Alex! This wasn't your place to intervene, you didn't need to come!"
I stopped behind a bush. Allowing Magnus to get here before I unfolded the package. "So-" he gasped, "Open it?" I held it the crevice of my arm, and carefully unwrapped it, not wanting to set anything off. That's when I saw it, two violet-eyes looking at me, smiling.
