Chapter 10: Boom Boom
It's been a month since Illyana and Alex has joined the institute, but also more kids have joined as well. Today was a training session day with the newer recruits, counting Alex and Illyana there was a total of eight new recruits that have enrolled. Jean, Scott and Warren took the kids around the mansion and gave them a tour, the three teens finding it a bit of a struggle to keep all of their attention onto what they were teaching as the younger teens fooled around. Once the tour was over, they were handed over to Logan for a few power assessments to test how strong their powers were and how much control they all had. "Alright kids, let's see what you can do so far." Logan instructs as he stands in front of the younger teens.
Illyana waits patiently amongst the other younger teens, hugging her arms as she looked around with Lockheed on her shoulder who was also looking around. "'S interesting, right Lockheed?" She asks him, getting a hiss in response.
"I want everyone lining up, no pushing, shoving or intentionally using your powers on others. This is a test to see how much control you have over your abilities." Logan instructs as he motions with his hands.
The kids follow suit, snickering to themselves in line as they joked and told stories, then Logan blew a whistle and called the first kid up. "Samuel, step up."
"It's just Sam, sir," a southern boy answers as he steps up. "But Ah also go by Cannonball, too."
"Alright, Cannonball, let's see whatcha got." Logan nods.
Sam rubs his hands together, letting out a breath, then he crouches as he looks at the target in front of him. His body vibrates and skyrockets off the ground, obliterating the target and the ground beneath as he crashed down. Some of the kids hooted, some laughed, Logan makes a note on a clipboard. "Alright, Roberto, you're next," Logan looks over to a tanned teen. "Got a codename, kid?"
"Sunspot." Roberto smirks, some of the girls in the line were giggling, Illyana raising a brow at what they were doing.
"Alright, go for it." Logan motions to the a new target that was put up mechanically.
Roberto outstretches his arms, closing his eyes as his head was turned up to the sun. His body changing into molten flames, then he throws a fireball at the target, searing a chunk off as Logan makes note. "Next." Logan barks out.
One after one, they all went; Ray after Roberto, then Alex, a young boy named Jamie after him, then an asian girl named Jubilee, after her a girl named Raine, next Amara, then a blonde girl steps up-popping a piece of gum in her mouth. "My turn!" She smirks. "Boom Boom reporting for duty!"
Logan sighs. "Alright, Tabitha, go ahead."
Tabitha's hands small charged balls, throwing them at the targets and making them explode, but some flew away from the targets-causing everyone in the area to duck. "Whoops, guess I got carried away." Tabitha shrugged.
Lockheed hisses in protest, Illyana unshielding herself after it was clear. "Don't worry, Lockheed, I'm fine." She says softly.
Logan growls. "Try not to get your teammates killed, wouldya?"
Tabitha shrugs, stepping over to the other teens. Now it was just Illyana, Lockheed looking at her curiously. "C'mon kid, your turn." Logan motions.
"I… I don't know if I could…" Illyana rubs her arm.
The young girl was nervous, knowing her powers usually come out in times of stress. Lockheed nudges her encouragingly. Illyana smiles and scratches under his chin, then takes a deep breath with her eyes closed. The others watched curiously, Logan waiting patiently as she breathes in and out, her arm turning metal with small spikes and a blue and black sword appearing-Lockheed flapping around excitedly. Illyana's eyes glowed blue, then she lunged forward and slashed the target to pieces. Just as soon as it had came, her powers disappear, leaving her on low energy. "Not bad kid." Logan nods. "Now then, assessment done for now, time to head inside for lunch."
The kids head inside, Illyana following behind them slowly, but jumps at a voice next to her. "That sword was so cool! You should have a cool codename girl!" Tabitha smiles.
"Oh.. thank you." Illyana shyly smiles.
"I'm Tabitha," Tabitha holds out her hand. "You must be that tall Russian's little sister?"
"Illyana," Illyana nods. Lockheed hisses. "This iz Lockheed."
"What a cute little guy!" Tabitha spins him around and hugs him.
Lockheed struggles out of her grip, flying back to Illyana's shoulder to hide behind her. Illyana gives an apologetic smile. "Lockheed isn't really fond of many people."
"No worries. I've been told I am a bit much." Tabitha shrugs it off.
They go inside, joining the other X-teens in the kitchen, Tabitha joining some of the new girls at the table to drool at some of the boys. Illyana notices Piotr and goes to stand with him as he was making a sandwich. "You alright Illyana?" He asks.
"Yes, just surprised at home many more people came to dis school." Illyana nods, petting Lockheed reassuringly.
"Oh, what about him?" Amara points to Bobby.
"Not my type." Tabitha scrunches her nose.
"I think he's cute." Jubilee shrugs. "But maybe not as cute as Warren."
"He's definitely a heart throb," Tabitha nods in agreement. "But what about Bayou boy over there? He's pretty fine."
"Ugh, that accent." Amara sighs and fans herself as the girls checked out Remy who was chatting with Kurt.
"What about Piotr?" Raine motions to the metalman who was talking to his sister.
"Oh that's Illyana's brother," Tabitha nods. "He's pretty good lookin' too. But what abooout…. Kurt?" Tabitha points to Kurt who was pouring himself a bag of popcorn.
"He's cute. Seems like your type, Tabby." Amara teases.
"Tch, sure." Tabitha laughs. "Though, blue is my favorite color. I think I'll get along with blue boy."
After lunch, Logan took the younger students back outside for their next lesson, taking some of the older students along to help out. "Alright, in this one you'll be using your powers to "rescue" a "victim". We have some volunteers who will helping out with this lesson. We got the leader of the X-men; Cyclops, then we got Kurt, Jean, Warren and Bobby. Some of them will rotate so everyone can get a chance. Let's start." Logan says gruffly as he explained the objective.
One by one, the kids try their best, Logan guiding them if needed, some struggled, others did fine. Tabitha had Kurt, taking off her earbuds as Logan tapped her on the shoulder. "Oops, wrong pair of ear pieces. My turn Badger?" She says nonchalantly.
"It's Wolverine, and yeah, you're up." Logan sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose.
"Woohoo! Boom Boom's on the way!" Tabitha hollers.
Kurt winces a bit, sighing. "Oh no, not Boom Boom."
"Hey, Blue. Looks like I'm savin' ya. Just hang in there handsome." Tabitha smoothly talks, lightly tugging on his cheek after ascending down a cliff face.
Kurt watched her set a couple of balls between some of the rocks, the small explosions going off and clearing the rocks off of him, then lightly shoves him onto the platform. "Alright, Wolvie, take us up!" Boom Boom hollers with a grin.
Logan sighs, then starts having the lift reverse to bring them up. Kurt smirks a bit, rolling off the platform and teleporting-Tabitha gasping in shock. He teleports back and laughs. "You just lost five points for not strapping me in."
"Oh yeah? Well, I hope you're strapped in now, blue boy." Tabitha grins as she starts to rock the platform back and forth, sending out small explosions and laughing.
"Hey! Knock it off you two!" Logan barks.
"Someone's going to get hurt!" Scott yells down.
The platform rocked back and forth, Kurt grinning as he watched Tabitha throw small explosions left and right. It wasn't fun and games anymore when one of her balls hit one of the ropes holding up the platform, shocking the two. "Oh shit." She swears under her breath, eyes wide.
Kurt immediately gets into action as the platform tilted a bit, Logan also jumping into action to stop the machine from lifting it further. Tabitha's eyes watched the adjacent rope struggle under the weight and movement as the other had snapped. "Hang on!" Kurt instructs as he puts his arms around her and teleports them above while the other snaps and crashes into the rock wall.
"You guys okay?" Jean asks.
"Ja, zat vas close." Kurt nods.
Tabitha lets out a sigh. She had a long discussion in the Professors office with Logan and Kurt about safety-during and outside of training sessions. Though she wasn't really listening as she filed her nails, she gave a nod of acknowledgment to the Professor and Logan for her and Kurt's punishment-which was a brief period of grounding. "I understand, Professor. Won't happen again." Tabitha says nonchalantly.
By the time the talk was done with, it was time for school and the X-teens headed off to Bayville High. Kurt wasn't too happy, but he never held a grudge against Boom Boom. Tabitha roams the halls before class, popping a piece of gum in her mouth as she stops at a vending machine and puts in some quarters. "Hey! It ate my quarter!" She protests as the machine didn't spit out her choice of drink.
"Sometimes you have to shake it to get it to come out." Lance says as he walks up to the machine.
He uses his powers to shake the machine, a can falling out. "Hey, thanks." Tabitha smirks. "Can always try this next time."
She puts a small ball in the machine, several cans of soda spilling out as she walks away. Lance watched in surprise, a light bulb going off in his head. Tabitha walks down a hall, only to pause when she sees a figure walk into the main office-her stomach churning in disgust and fear. She walks in a different direction so she wasn't caught by the person she so wished she could avoid for forever. The man who walked into the office gives a friendly smile to the attendant at the desk, his charming nature coming out as he leant against the desk. "I'm here to see Tabitha Smith, I'm her dad and I just want to talk to her." He says.
The attendant pulls up Tabitha's file after she closes a safe-the man smirking deviously but then goes back to friendly, then the lady gives a frown to the man. "I'm sorry sir, but Tabitha has a strict "no visitors" list and it looks like you're on it."
The man still kept his smile on his lips, holding up his hands slightly. "No worries, you have a good day."
He leaves the office, heading out of the school, unknowing someone had caught sight of his intentions. Tabitha rounds a corner, seeing Kurt with a gut bomb in his hands ready to be eaten. "Hey blue boy!" She grins.
Kurt jumps, looking over. "Tabitha, keep it down, no von can know ve're mutants." He says in a hushed tone as he looks around.
"Hey is that a gut bomb? Mm I love those!" She snatches it and takes a bite, Kurt deflating. "Oh! Can I borrow your lab book? I forgot mine at home. I'll give it back! Mkay thanks!"
"Hey, vait!" Kurt holds a hand out, then sighs as she disappears and the first bell rings.
"Hey, Kurt," Remy calls out as he walks towards the teleporter. "We need t' talk."
"About what?" Kurt raises a brow.
"'M pretty sure Boom Boom's dad is schemin' somet'in'. He came t' see 'er, but he ain' on 'er list o' visitors." Remy explains. "I know a t'ief is schemin' when I see one, an' 'm one o' dem."
Kurt's brows furrow. "Maybe I should bring it up to Tabitha…. Get her opinion."
The second bell rings, Principle Darkholme glaring at the two boys as she rounds the corner. "Mr. Wagner, Mr. Lebeau, aren't you two supposed to be in class? Or do I have to give you both a detention?"
"Ve're goin', sorry!" Kurt apologizes, rushing past her, while Remy sent her a glare as he walked past her, her doing the same to him.
The rest of the day was normal, kids checked out the flyers for the fair that was happening that evening as they head out of the school. "You going to the fair with Jean?" Warren asks Scott as he shows him the flyer.
Scott glances over to Jean who was with Duncan, getting into his car. He frowns. "Nah, she's probably going with Duncan."
"Why don't we go together, no girls tonight." Warren suggests.
"Yeah, we can play some of the games there and check out some rides." Scott nods.
"Ooh a fair!" Kitty grins as she looks at the flyer. "Let's go to it!"
"Hm, ah don't know…" Rogue crosses her arms.
"Why not chère? 'Ll win y' a prize." Remy smirks at her as he pops up next to them.
Rogue snorts. "Yeah, soah ya could."
Remy feigns being hurt. "Y' don' believe in m' skill?"
"Nevah said that, Cajun." Rogue shakes her head.
Kitty watches the two, smirking. "You two sound like an old married couple."
Rogue's face goes red. "We do not!"
She rushes to the car, Remy and Kitty smirking. Remy spots Kurt, then notices Boom Boom getting into the car with Bobby, his brain deep in thought. Kitty jabs him, making him jolt out of his concentration. "Did you even hear what I said?" She asks.
"Non, what'd y' say chat?" Remy asks.
"Are you and Piotr going to the fair?" She asks again, smiling.
"Oh, yeah, probably." Remy nods.
The teens all pile into the cars, heading to the mansion, unbeknownst to Tabitha that someone was waiting for her there already talking to the Professor. "Mr. Smith, I understand you want to see your daughter, but she has some restrictions." The Professor sighs lightly as he stares at the man in front of him in the foyer.
"Please, just let me see my daughter," Mr. Smith pleads. "I just want to talk to her."
"I'm sorry, but we have rules here and we like to make sure our students are safe, even if you are her father." The Professor shakes his head.
Mr. Smith makes a face, his hands going on Charles wheelchair, but before he could get words out of his mouth a sound alerted him. *Shnkt* "There a problem, bub?" Logan growls.
Mr. Smith takes a step back, straightening. "Not at all."
He saunters out of the foyer towards the front door, the students coming home from school. Tabitha freezes at the bottom of the stairs outside, seeing her dad come out the front doors, most of the teens going around him. She mutters to a couple of her friends she'll see them inside as she steps to the side, knowing she was now spotted by his dark gaze. "Tabitha, it's so good to see you. How you been sweetie?" Her dad smiles pleasantly.
"Drop the pleasantries, dad. What do you want?" Tabitha crosses her arms, avoiding his gaze.
"What? I can't see my daughter?"
"They finally let you out jail?"
"It's parole-and I'm just here to check up on you. Your mother has a… tight leash on me on what I can and can't do."
"That's because you've tried to use us so many times!" Tabitha remarks. "Are you actually here to see me, or are you looking for something-as usual?"
Her dad's face and posture changes, his eyes narrowing. "Fine, you caught me. I need your help, Tabby-your powers are quite resourceful. Tonight we'll sneak into your school, there's a safe in the main office with all the fundings. Help me steal that and I won't meddle with your life ever again."
Tabitha stares at the ground, eyes wide. She felt her dad put a hand on her shoulder, speaking lowly as he passes by. "Meet me at the fair tonight. I'll be waiting behind the arcade tent for you. Don't cross me, Tabby."
Tabitha gulps, watching him walk away, then she heads inside, trying to think how she was going to get out tonight since she was grounded. Noticing Kurt talking to some of the others, a light bulb went off in her mind, but she hated the idea of using him. She also hated the feeling she was getting in her gut from her father, waiting till later to devise her plan.
The evening goes on like normal, the x-teens all going out to the fair, all except for Kurt and Tabitha who were to remain at the mansion. Kurt hung out on his balcony, sighing as he looks off into the direction of the fair. He hangs his head, hand in hair. "Hey Blue!" Tabitha greets, shocking the fuzzy elf.
"Tabitha! You scared me!" Kurt puts a hand on his chest as he stared at the blonde girl who had climbed up to his balcony.
"Hey, let's do something fun!" Tabitha grins as she sits on the stone ledge.
"Vee can't, ve're grounded." Kurt looks at her, crossing his arms.
"C'mon, Kurt. No one will know. We'll ride just a couple rides and come right back, pleeeease?" Tabitha pleads.
Kurt looks at the ground, uneasy, but then sighs. "Alvright, two rides, then we're back here."
"Yes! I promise!" Tabitha hugs him, then Kurt teleports them to the fair, making sure to teleport inconspicuous.
They peer around the corner, grinning and running towards the first ride they see. Meanwhile, Kitty tugs Rogue through the crowd, giddy as ever while the two toned southerner was careful to not bump into anyone. "Kitty, slow down!" Rogue demands.
"C'mon Rogue! Oh!! I see the games!" Kitty grins.
Rogue rolls her eyes with a sigh, but a slight smile appears on her lips. They stop at a booth that had stuffed animals with a ring toss game, music playing in the area of the fair as kids, teens and adults alike played the fun games. Kitty pays the teen who was working at the game in exchange for five rings. Rogue also paid for five rings, tossing her first one only to miss. Kitty tosses hers as her tongue poked out and an eye closed. "Ah think this game is rigged." Rogue makes a face as she threw her third one.
"I almost had it!" Kitty groans as she tosses her fourth one.
Rogue sighs, throwing her fourth one, making another face as it bounced off the bottle. "Y' need some help winnin' chère?" Remy asks as he leant against the stand, a small smile on his lips.
Rogue eyes him, contemplating for a second. "Ah don't think so. Ah can get it."
"Seems y' don' since y' on y' last one." Remy drawls out.
Kitty groans beside her, pouting as she used her last one. Piotr was silently watching her while standing next to her, putting down a bill for five more rings, surprising the short teen. "Five more rings please." Piotr says, the teen exchanging the money for the rings. "Would you like to me win you a prize, Katya?"
Kitty looks up at him in surprise, blushing lightly. She smiles brightly at him. "Sure, thanks, Pete."
Piotr blinks, a light shade of pink dusting his cheeks, then he focuses. He tosses the rings one by one, getting a prize on the third toss, Kitty squealing in delight. The teen hands Piotr a stuffed cat, him handing it to Kitty who tackles him into a hug with her small body. "Thank you!" She thanks, grinning from ear to ear.
Piotr smiles. "You're welcome."
Rogue was focused on trying to make sure her last ring would get her at least something, poising her hand with the ring in her hand ready to toss. Remy was watching her intently, then grins. "Y'know, y' holdin' it wrong. It gon' bounce off de bottles again."
Rogue snaps her head in his direction, pursing her lips. "Are ya tryna mess meh up?" She asks.
Remy shrugs, holding his hands up a bit. "Jus' tryin' t' help."
Rogue sighs, putting a hand on her hip. "Fahne. Show meh."
Remy gives her his signature smirk, stepping forward into her personal space and places his hand on her gloved one. "Y' should hold it like dis, like how I hold m' cards befo' I go an' throw 'em." He instructs as he adjusts her grip on the ring and pivots her hips a bit with his other to help.
Rogue looks up at him, noticing his face too close for her own comfort. She clears her throat, looking away quickly and focuses back onto the bottles. Then, she lets the ring fly out of her hand, watching it land on a bottle. "Yes!" She grins, Remy smiling genuinely at her.
She grabs the stuffed bear from the teen and looks at Remy with her smile still on her lips. "Thanks fer the help." Rogue puts a strand of white hair behind her ear, her piercings showing.
"Y' welcome." Remy nods.
Tabitha and Kurt get off their fourth ride and enter another, laughing as they go. The ride starts up, spinning the carriages around, the two mutants laughing and sliding a bit. "You wanna go faster?" Tabitha yells over the ride.
"Faster?" Kurt questions.
Tabitha makes a small explosive ball appear, tossing it to the controls causing it to explode and send the ride into a faster tempo. Everyone starts to scream in delight and fear as it spins faster, the ride operator jumping up from his seat as he noticed what was going on. He pulls on the emergency break, the ride slowly stopping to let the people off who were dizzy more than usual. "Whoa…" Tabitha and Kurt both grin from ear to ear.
"Hey, let's go do some other fun stuff." Tabitha grabs his hand.
The two start to cause mischief at the fair, hiding as they watched Tabitha's small explosives go off on peoples food or prizes-one of them exploding Blob's hot dog on his face. "Wha-hey! Man now I need a new one." Blob frowns.
Lance glances over, eyebrows raised. "Hey! It's that girl from school."
He watched Kurt and Tabitha teleport away from the area to another, wondering what the two were up to. They teleport behind a tent, laughing as they round a corner, then Kurt stops. "Ve should vreally get going. Ve've been here for five hours!"
"Aw, c'mon Kurt, one more?" Tabitha pleads.
Her eyes then spot across from her, her dad who was munching on a bag of popcorn, already noticing her. She felt her stomach drop. "Fine, one more." Kurt sighs.
"You go get a spot in line, I'll be right back." Tabitha says abruptly.
"Vat?" Kurt looks at her confused.
"Please, I'll meet you inside." Tabitha looks at him.
Kurt nods, going towards the attraction while she walks towards her dad, regret on her face. "Thought you weren't going to show up." Her dad smiles.
"Let's just get this over with…" Tabitha mutters under her breath, her right hand squeezing her left arm.
"This way." Her dad motions, tossing the popcorn.
Kurt couldn't ignore his gut feeling so he turned back, only to find Tabitha walking off with a man. His brows furrow, then he jumps when he hears a familiar voice. "Aren't ya supposed ta be grounded?" Rogue asks.
"Oh! Guten tag, Rogue," Kurt smiles sheepishly. "Zis vas not my idea!"
"Then whose was it?" Piotr asks.
"Tabitha's but it seems like she might be in trouble.." Kurt sighs.
"What do you mean?" Kitty asks.
"Probably 'er dad tryin' t' get 'er t' steal some money." Remy mutters.
"What d'ya mean?" Rogue asks.
Kurt frowns. "Remy noticed Tabitha's dad in the main office at school zis morning trying to see Boom Boom and also noticed him plotting to steal ze money ze school had stored away."
"We need to stop them!" Kitty look shocked and worried.
"We will go find de others." Piotr volunteers himself and Kitty.
"Kurt, dod you see which way they went?" Rogue asks.
"Ja, follow me." Kurt nods, Remy and Rogue rushing with him while Piotr and Kitty go in search for Scott and the others.
Tabitha frowns as they enter the school, using her powers to unlock the main office door, then using them to get into the safe. Her dad smirks as he grabs the cash, putting it into a bag and turning towards her. "Great job, Tabby. I knew you could do it."
Tabitha makes a face. "This is wrong, you don't have to do this."
"I have no choice but to do this." He stares darkly at her. "Now let's go."
He exits the office, Tabitha following him, watching the bag dangling in his hand. Her eyes narrow and she yanks it out his grip and starts running. "Tabitha! Get back here!" He yells.
Tabitha runs as fast as she can, heading to the old gymnasium that the school was going to tear down. "There she is!" Rogue points out as the trio saw her running towards the old building with her dad in pursuit.
"C'mon!" Kurt orders, going after them.
Tabitha busts through the doors, stumbling a bit as she ran. She pants, holding the bag close to her as she hears her fathers footsteps following her. Her dad tackles her to the rugged gym floor, causing her to cry out and drop the bag. "You think you could just cross me like that? Blood or not, I'll make you pay." He growls.
Before he could do anything, a charged card hit his back, causing him to fly off of her. Kurt teleports in front of Tabitha and offers her his hand. "You could have told me you ver in trouble." He says.
"I could've handled it on my own, but thanks for helping, blue." Tabitha smiles, grabbing the bag of cash.
Her dad grunts as he stands, glaring at the four teens. "Tabby, hand over the money, right now."
"She ain' y' pawn t' use anymo'." Remy glares at the man.
"Like you would know what that's like."
"'M from a t'ieves guild. 'S not hard t' spot anot'er t'ief plottin' t' steal."
"This could go one way or another if you just hand me the bag."
"Not gonna happen." Rogue puts her fists together, glaring at the older man. "Yer out numbered."
He growls as he glares at the teens, straightening and reaching into his jacket. "I may be outnumbered, but I doubt any of you could survive a bullet."
The teens look at the gun he pulled out, Tabitha knowing her father always carries a gun-which was what got him in jail in the first place. "Daddy, please don't do this." Tabitha pleads, stepping forward.
"Hand over the money, Tabby and I won't hurt anybody."
Tabitha bites her lip, conflicted. She steps forward, ready to give him the bag when suddenly, they hear metal claws unsheathing. "Back away from the kids, bub and put the gun down." Logan growls.
Her dad points the gun at Logan now, eyes wide in surprise. The others entered the building and went up the four teens, Storm asking if they were okay. Piotr was in his metal form as he and Logan went up to Tabitha's father to disarm him. He shoots at Logan, the bullet piercing him, pissing off the Wolverine as his healing factor pushes the bullet out and heals the wound. "Shouldn't have done that." Piotr mutters, grabbing the gun and snapping it, then he picks the man up by the shirt so he couldn't run away.
"Turning you into the police." Logan growls.
Once the police came, Tabitha looks away from her father as he tries to lie and plead his way out, but was cut off once the door was shut. "You could have been hurt, and you two were supposed to be grounded." Storm lightly chides the four teens.
"I'm sorry, it was all my fault." Tabitha apologizes.
"Either way, this could have ended badly. Let's go back to the mansion and have a talk with the Professor." Storm sighs.
"Forget it, I'm out of here." Tabitha huffs, leaving the building.
Kurt steps forward to go after her, but Storm shakes her head. "She'll come back when she's ready."
Lance closes the cabinet in the kitchen after putting away a bundle pack of ramen, jumping at the front door opening loudly. "Not too bad of a place," Tabitha comments as she steps inside looking around. "Lance right? I'm gonna crash upstairs, so don't touch my stuff or anything."
"Huh?" Lance stared at her dumbfounded.
She walks towards the stairs, the other Brotherhood members watching her confused. "Hey, ain't she an X-man?" Toad asks.
"I don't think she is anymore if she's deciding to crash here. One less X-man to worry about." Pietro answers.
"Oi, I think the sheila is heading towards Mystique's room." Pyro motions upstairs.
"She'll deal with her whenever she comes back. She's barely home anyway." Lance waves his hand, going back to eating his ramen.
Tabitha dumps her bag onto the bed, flopping down on her back with her hands on her stomach. A sigh escapes her as she frowns up at the ceiling, wiping her eyes before tears could even fall.
A/N: And that concludes this chapter! This story might not have all the episodes like X-men Evolution did but it'll have most of them and also some that are related to the original X-men The Animated series! We're getting close to Shadowdance which is just one of my fav episodes from the original series and I cannot wait to write it!
Till next time!
