"Jean, we haven't heard from you yet." The Professor said. "Do you have anything new to report?"

"Mr. Harris' blood chemistry is strange because he was affected by the unauthorized experiment that was done on him by the swim coach. His healing factor allowed him to survive, but it affected his bone marrow. And since that's where blood cells are produced, the blood transfusion only replaced his then existing blood. New blood was produced and replaced the transfused blood. Technically speaking he may actually qualify as both a mutant and a mutate because of it. His body has adapted to the altered blood chemistry. It doesn't mean he has any ability because of it, at least none that I've been able to identify. But his blood is definitely unique. I'm recommending that he periodically visit our west coast office and keep a ready supply on ice in the event of a catastrophic injury."

"Not the first time we've had to do that for someone." The Professor commented. "Anything else?"

"I've identified some of their genetic parents and those parents will need to be notified that their DNA was used to create Mr. Harris and Ms. Chase."

"We can do that, it shouldn't be an issue. Who have you identified?"

"One of Ms. Chase's genetic mothers is Alison Blair aka Dazzler."

"Ali has a number of mutant abilities tied to both sound and light. Do you believe Ms. Chase may eventually manifest any additional abilities?"

"It's possible, many mutants have abilities that grow with time. I've explained to Ms. Chase what Ali's abilities are so that she can keep an eye out for any sign of her own advancing along those lines. Though Ms. Chase's may manifest in different ways given the number of genetic parents she has, which could have varying affects on her abilities. It's something they both need to keep an eye on."

"Have you identified any other genetic parents for Me. Chase?"

"Not yet, but I have identified two of Mr. Harris'. A father and a mother. Given who one of his genetic fathers is, I now know where his healing ability comes from. He may also have delayed aging and a near indestructibility as a result of his healing factor, his father certainly does."

"Which would explain how he survived Ms. Rosenberg's attack." The Professor agreed. "Who's the father you've identified?"

Jean's lips twitched slightly and then she said. "Congratulations Logan, it's a boy."

Dead Silence reigned for several seconds as everyone stared at both her and Logan.

"Excuse me?" He said. "Are you saying someone used my DNA to make this kid? And where did whoever did this get it?"

"Anywhere you bled would be enough to get a sample of your DNA." Jean replied. "Which is all over the world. At one point or another, anyway."

"Well, you already know Mr. Harris isn't going to have an issue with this." Scott said. "On account of he already likes and respects you."

Wolverine growled, startling everyone. "He's my kid, in some weird way, he's my kid. And Wanda's report said he'd been abused. I ain't got no use for people who hurt kids, now I not only find out I've got a kid I never knew about and had no hand in making directly, but I find out he's also been abused. I'm not a happy man right now." Logan decided in an utterly understatement summation of the situation.

"Does that mean you're planning on visiting Sunnydale yourself at some point?" Scott asked curiously.

"I just may." Logan answered. "I need to talk to the kid first and figure out how he'd feel about it if I did."

"If it helps." Wanda told him. "When we were discussing his experiences with Magic, he told me the Hyena slammed his father into a wall and told him what he'd do to him if he ever hurt either him or his mother again. It hasn't happened since."

"You know I just realized something." Logan said. "How did the people who raised them get them? Were they adopted?"

"Actually, that question hadn't come up." Jean said. "But neither did either of them offer it when I told them they had multiple genetic parents. I'll ask them when we're done here."

"Good idea." The Professor agreed. "Now you also mentioned you'd identified one of Mr Harris' genetic mothers, who is she?"

"What I found in regards to his genetic mother explains another mystery we had." Jean said.

"Which one would that be? We have several mysteries in regards to these kids." Her husband asked.

"Why he was able to form a telepathic connection with me. It's because I'm one of his genetic mothers. And the reason why his mind seemed familiar to me is because of his similarities with Logan."
