Thomas cheekily believes that he can run his branch line with his eyes closed, only to miss a red signal and nearly collide with Emily performing track maintenance. Even though, as Safety Engine, she should report Thomas for running the signal, Emily reluctantly lets him off with a warning, but this only makes Thomas feel even more guilty about Emily having to lie on his account.
