Review time!

Lara2244: Thanks! Yeah, I'd say a fair number of the cast are basically extras, even in the series canon.

Gucci Mane LaFlare: Thanks! The canon episode itself started with a horror movie, so I figured "Why not make that part of the challenge?" Scarlett does not waste any time getting the job done.

Joel Connell: Thanks! Man, that's embarrassing; it's fixed now, though!

Aleheather4ever: Alejandro and Heather have a very tenuous relationship on account of their respective competitive natures. Alejandro knows full well that Heather would be a formidable opponent post-merge, so he got rid of her now so he (in his eyes) would be safe. Please note that I'm not nearly as sympathetic towards them as you seem to be as both of them are bullies and I'm not going to condone that kind of behavior.

"Last time on Total Drama – we screamed! [DJ screaming] You thought we were gonna do some mushy love challenge for the day before Valentine's Day, didn't you? [Taylor complaining about the weather] Well, it was pretty nasty outside, so I had the kids watch a horror movie instead! [Miles running out of the room] Then they had to hide from a psycho killer played by Chef. [Chef finding Geoff in his rather pathetic hiding place] The Green Gators won when Scarlett put away a real psycho killer [Scarlett tasing her would-be killer], while the Yellow Yaks had the most predictable elimination in the show's history. [Miles' elimination]"

Chris stood at the Dock of Shame. "Twenty-two contestants remain. Who'll eat the pie and the sky and who'll be miles above a chance at victory? Find out here on

"Drama!"

Theme song

*Instrumental*

A camera appeared from the snow-covered bushes, scaring off a squirrel. Another came from a tree, startling a blue jay. The third popped out of the ground, but this time Harold jumped clear of it, only to hit his head on a low-hanging branch.

Dear Mom and Dad, I'm doing fine

You guys are on my mind

The camera flew across the snowy island, passing Chris looking out at the world from the comfort of his room, Brick trying to learn how to channel another song, Sam playing one of his videogames, Lindsay making a snowman, Crimson and Ennui staring blankly into space, and Shawn running away from a once-again awake Scuba Bear.

You asked me what I wanted to be

And now I think it's plain to see

DJ, Miles, and Laurie were one with the few animals still awake during winter. DJ looked at a drawing of Dawn he'd made for an art class and sighed wistfully.

I wanna be famous

Heather, Josee, and Taylor battled it out on the banks of the frozen lake in a snowball fight. Taylor ended up throwing her snowball at a tree, which dumped snow all over Heather, much to Taylor and Josee's delight.

*Instrumental*

Owen trudged across the ice covering the river, then slipped and faceplanted into the snowbanks. Geoff and Bridgette immediately rushed over to help him up.

I want to live close to the sun

Well, pack your bags cause I've already won.

Jo and Zoey climbed to the top of Bluegrass Hill, where Jo let out a roar that triggered an avalanche beneath them. Jo smiled sheepishly at a confused Zoey.

Everything to prove nothing in my way

I'll get there one day

Chef was making dinner, and Tyler, Sanders, MacArthur, Beardo, and Ella were eying his no-longer-deliberately-bad cooking hungrily.

'Cuz I wanna be famous

Sammy and Cody were making out, and with one of his hands facing backwards Cody accepted a high-five from Sierra.

Na na nana na na nana nana na na na na na naaaaah

Eva, Leshawna, Sky, and Jasmine worked out in the Drama Gym, although Sky was struggling with her weights.

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous

Alejandro had lit the campfire and was standing behind it ominously. Devin and Carrie, unbeknownst to him, were watching, and Carrie raised an eyebrow at Devin as if to say "See? I told you he was evil."

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous.

Topher chatted with Dakota, who was busy with intern work. Behind them, Scarlett was pushing around a snowblowing machine she'd recently invented.

*Whistling*

At the campfire, as the other campers I didn't have time to name looked on excitedly, Noah and Emma looked each other in the eyes...and Jen appeared between them to show off some new designs. Though slightly miffed, Noah and Emma shrugged and struck up a conversation with her.

Good Cabin

"Okay, this is getting quite old quite fast," Scarlett grumbled as a guard stood behind her while she brushed her teeth.

"I'm norm'ly not someone who agrees wit' ya, but yeah, I don't like all these fellers hangin' around me," Sugar complained.

"Sorry kids, but orders are orders," the guard said gruffly. "We need to make sure no other nutjobs got onto the island."

"What, besides Chris?" Scarlett snarked before spitting.

"Never heard that one before. You know how he–"

"Came up with an awesome idea for a challenge?" Chris said as he strutted into the room.

"I was going to say 'violated human rights more times than I can count accurately', but sure, let's go with that. What do you have in mind for us today?"

"Follow me and I'll tell you!"

Some time later

"Remember our teams from the dodgeball challenge?" Chris asked the campers.

"Not really," Leshawna replied. "Happened about five months ago, Chris."

"Right, right. Well, to recap, Cody, Jo, Jen, Jasmine, and Harold, you're on North, Emma, Sugar, Crimson, Taylor, Jacques, Josee, and DJ, you're on South, Alejandro, Scarlett, Justin, Ennui, Leshawna, and Zoey, you're on East, and Geoff, Sky, and Brick, you're on West. Noah was a floater the first time around, so I'm gonna stick him on West today since they're the smallest team."

"How kind of you," Noah quipped.

"I guess that makes sense," Sky admitted. "But why not do two teams of eleven?"

"Eh, I didn't want to make up a new team when I've got so many in rotation. Anywho, on to the challenge! See that mountain over there?"

"Uh...no?" Cody said, confused. "I thought this island formed from a glacier dumping stuff into Lake Huron, not a volcano erupting or two continents colliding."

"Well, there's one now! See for yourself." Chris discreetly pressed a button on his remote, causing a large, mechanical, telescoping mountain to emerge next to the cliff where they'd jumped off in the first challenge.

"So that's where the show's budget went!" one of the guards exclaimed.

"Yeah, yeah, laugh it up, guys," Chris snarked. He resumed his usual smile. "So! Each of your teams has a flag at the top of Mount McLean. Your job is to run up the mountain and get your team's flag before anyone else. No one is allowed to throw each other off the mountain because that would kill you. Sadly," he muttered under his breath.

He continued at a normal volume. "Once you've got your team's flag, bring it down. Whichever team does so first wins an advantage for the second part of the challenge, which I'll explain once everyone's gotten their flags. Remember, this mountain's kinda hollow, so I want only one person from each team climbing it. Got it?"

North: Cody, Jo, Jen, Jasmine, and Harold.

South: Emma, Sugar, Crimson, Taylor, Jacques, Josee, and DJ.

East: Alejandro, Scarlett, Justin, Ennui, Leshawna, and Zoey.

West: Geoff, Sky, Brick, and Noah.

North

"I'm doing this," Jo decided.

"You sure?" Jasmine asked. "I mean, don't get me wrong, you're more than strong enough to climb something like that, but wouldn't it be a better idea to send someone up with more...experience? Such as myself?"

"Jas, I appreciate the offer, but that won't be necessary," Jo replied. "I can do this all by myself."

Confessional – Jasmine.

"I admire Jo's spirit, but her loner mentality's going to get her sooner or later."

South

"DJ, can you climb that mountain?" Emma asked.

DJ gulped. "I-I would, but...I'm not good with heights!"

"Is there anything you are good at?" Taylor snarked. "Something that isn't tangentially related to food, that is?"

"Stuff it," Emma growled.

"And it doesn't look very safe besides," DJ pointed out. "It's smooth. How am I gonna get a foothold and not fall down?"

"A valid point," Crimson said monotonously. "How we are to climb that towering construct, I do not know."

"Yet another of Chris McLean's brilliant oversights," Emma sighed.

"I do not fear that mountain," Josee said cockily. "I will climb it and win."

"Okay, thanks, Josee," DJ sighed with relief.

"Don't break your shins on the way down," Taylor grumbled.

East

"I am prepared to win this challenge for our team," Alejandro decided.

"Whoa, whoa, hey, I know you're strong and all, but wouldn't it be a good idea to let someone else participate for once?" Justin asked.

The Latin Mastermind glared at him. "You are too concerned with ruining your good looks to do a challenge of this nature. And I do not trust the others."

"Don't put them down like that! And at least I don't have a rule about not getting punched in the face!"

The two glared at each other. "Alright, fine. Alejandro, go," Scarlett said sternly. "Have your little testosterone-brawl with Justin after the challenge." Alejandro smirked victoriously while Justin sighed in defeat.

"What a mad banquet of darkness," Ennui quipped. Everyone stared at him. "Did I say something interesting?"

Confessional – Alejandro.

"I know it is just the cast stereotype, but Justin was for a time obsessed with his looks," Alejandro explained. "To be fair, he is smart under that well-groomed shell, but not as smart as I."

Confessional – Justin.

"UGH! He's so ANNOYING!" Justin grumbled. "What I wouldn't give to vote him out." He gasped and started counting on his fingers. "Wait...his immunity's gone next challenge!" He laughed to himself. "Al, mark my words, in Episode 56 you are going down!"

Confessional – Scarlett.

"I am on Justin's side, Alejandro's judgement is clouded by his ego, which has grown quite large following the unjust elimination of most of Team E-Scope," Scarlett explained, "but for the sake of getting this challenge done quickly I let him have this one small victory."

West

"Brick, I think this is all you," Noah said. "I think the only way we can scale that smooth monstrosity is with some sort of magnetized glove, and I don't think Sky and Geoff have the upper body strength to last all the way up. Well, assuming Chris made that out of steel and not aluminum to keep it cheap."

"You're not entirely wrong," Sky said. "A lot of my strength is in my legs and my joints, not my arms."

"Shyeah, and I'm mostly in my arms," Geoff added. "But Brick? Man, you got both."

Brick smiled. "Thanks for the votes of confidence, friends. I won't let you down!" He paused. "Oh, shoot, I just jinxed it."

"Just...do your best, Brick," Sky said at last.

"Everyone chosen?" Chris asked. "Then let's suit up! You're going to wear these safety harnesses and ropes. To climb a mountain with no footholds, you'll need these magnetic gloves, kneepads, and boots that are just strong enough to weakly stick you to the mountain."

"Called it," Noah said.

The climbers suited up and started climbing, one from each of four corners of the mountain. Down below, people started milling about.

Team E-Scope

"So, do we have any plans on who to vote for if our respective teams lose?" Emma asked. She, Zoey, and Noah had huddled together in a clump off to the side.

"I don't know, to be honest," Noah replied. "Sky's a physical threat owing to her exceptional flexibility, but at the same time she's also an asset. I think I'll have to go with her, though, since Geoff's my only other option and I think he and Brick are good enough friends that Brick wouldn't want to vote for him."

"Yeah, they do seem pretty close," Zoey admitted. "I think it's because Geoff doesn't have an alliance of his own anymore and most of his friends are back home. Anyway, I can't vote for Alejandro, so I'd go for either Scarlett or Ennui."

"I'd like to vote for Sugar, but since she's key to our plan to get Alejandro out of the game I can't vote her out just yet," Emma said. "Same goes for the Ice Dancers, I need them to break ranks with Alejandro if we're to vote him out successfully. So I'm probably going to vote for Taylor if our team loses."

They broke formation and looked at the mountain. "Em?" Zoey asked.

"Yeah?"

"I think your plan to get the Ice Dancers to turn on Alejandro might be happening. Look!" She pointed at the two, where Josee was about to confront their chosen target.

"Oh, wow, that's fast."

Alejandro's Secret Deal

"Mr. Burromuerto," Josee said in a low voice. "We need to discuss something."

"Now of all times?" Alejandro grimaced as he tried to climb the mountain.

"Oui. I have been thinking...I know Heather was not technically a part of our secret deal, but she did assist its cause, non?"

"To some extent."

"And yet you still voted her out."

"Well, what can I say?" Alejandro shrugged casually. "She would have jeopardized my chances post-merge. You know those challenges will work on a first-come, first-served basis as they say in this country. Surely you would do the same to Jacques to prevent him from taking your own."

Josee growled. "No, I would not. Because I am a responsible partner and would SUPPORT mon petit ami even when on opposing sides." She raised her right foot. "The deal is off. I will no longer help you, and after what you have said I do not believe Jacques will either." She brought it down on her former alliancemate's chest, the force of the kick sending him back down to the bottom of the mountain.

Thirty-five minutes later

Jo slapped the peak with her right hand. "I'm at the top!" she shouted, removing her team's purple flag from the pole and balling it up before stuffing it into her coat pocket.

"Excellent!" Chris called from down below. "Now hurry up and get back down!"

"Don't have to tell me twice." She turned herself around and began climbing down the mountain head-first.

Confessional – Harold.

"That is so unsafe."

Fifty-eight minutes later

"Jo is the first one down!" Chris exclaimed.

"Because she did something that nearly gave us heart attacks!" Jasmine admonished. "Jo, next time you want to climb down a mountain, please do so feet-first. It's less risky for your head that way."

"It worked, didn't it?" Jo shot back.

"I don't care if it worked, you could've sustained permanent brain damage!"

Twenty minutes later

"And everyone's back down!" Chris announced, holding the flags in his arms. "Since North was the first one down with their flag, they get the advantage!"

Chef handed Jen a plastic box with a lock on it. "Here ya go, Designer Dreams."

"A...box?"

"Find out what it's for after these messages!"

Do da do da doo. Commercial break!

"And we're back!" Chris announced to the audience. "It's time to reveal the second part of today's challenge, which shall be...Capture the Flag!"

"Ohhhhh, THAT'S what the cage is for," Harold said. "We can lock our flag in there and make it harder to steal!"

"Hey, I explain the advantages here," Chris said crossly. "But yes, that's the purpose of the thing. Each team will have to put their flag in a specific location of my choosing. One person will guard their team's flag while the rest will have to steal someone else's. Whichever team still has their own flag in their possession wins the challenge! The losing team is the one that gets their flag nabbed first, which I will reveal when I call time."

"Do we get to pick who stays and guards our flags?" Emma asked.

"Nope! I've chosen them already by random chance myself. Gotta keep it fair, y'know." He looked behind him at the guard staring pointedly at him; the guard nodded, and Chris sighed in relief.

"Chris McLean? Fair? If you were really fair you would've chosen who went up the mountain by random chance as well as the person who guards the flags."

Chris sighed. "I really hate you, you know that, right?"

"I kinda figured that out in October."

"Well, anyway, Jasmine, DJ, Zoey, and Geoff! You guys will guard the flags! And, to make things even fairer, I won't tell everybody where your flag is! Nope, you guys gotta figure that out for yourself!" Chris handed them each a flag and a piece of paper.

"Are we allowed to know where the flags are?" Justin asked. "I feel that's a pretty important thing to know for this challenge."

"Nuh-uh. People back home are supposedly harping on about how easy it would be for someone to like, torture you for the information. I'm not reading the comments myself, I'm holding off until the end of the show for that, but Dakota said that some of your classmates have pointed that out a lot."

Confessional – Dakota.

"Alejandro's the kind of guy who would do that, so I had to make things harder for him. That way his team's got less of an advantage over the others."

Confessional – Taylor.

"Wow, you are good for something," Taylor said in slight shock.

Confessional – Alejandro.

"Sure, it prevents me from winning," Alejandro said before smirking. "But it doesn't prevent me from losing."

"Good luck!"

North

Jasmine hid the cage containing her team's flag inside one of the washing machines. "There we go!"

South

DJ breathed a sigh of relief as he hid the flag in one of the dressers in one of the extra cabins. "Phew! ...wait a minute, am I allowed to resist if people try to take my team's flag?"

"Of course you are!" Chris said from the hallway. "It's more fun that way!"

DJ gulped.

East

"There's nowhere good to hide this place that they wouldn't think to look in!" Zoey exclaimed as she raced around the Drama Arena. "I'll have to hide it under the bleachers and hope no one finds it!" She lifted one of the wooden flaps at the bottom and shoved her flag under it.

From his hiding spot behind the screen, Alejandro smirked. "Now to make sure someone finds it," he said to himself as he fled the moment Zoey turned around to check for another team.

West

"Man, there's only the control room in here," Geoff said as he tucked the flag into a drawer in the control room. "But at least it's like, dark in there. Might be hard to find it again."

East

Alejandro panted. "Everyone, I tried to look in the arena where we raced bicycles so many months ago for South's flag. But I couldn't find it there!"

"Well, that's...good, but why did you want to look for South's flag?" Leshawna asked.

"South is the largest team in today's challenge, with seven competitors still in play," Scarlett explained. "Because of their numbers advantage, they're better able to spread out and cover more ground than the remaining teams, including our own."

"Meaning they could find our flag faster than we could find theirs!" Justin realized. "C'mon, let's split up!"

North

From off to the side, Harold frowned as his team watched East run off. "It's kinda suspicious that Alejandro gave an exact location for where he thought a flag might be."

"Yeah," Jen agreed. "Especially since he knew we were in earshot..." She gasped. "I think that's where his team's flag is! He's trying to throw the challenge so East loses and he gets to vote someone off!"

"Wow, that's...quite obvious what he's doing," Cody said. "Whatever happened to subtlety?"

"Well, I'm gonna go see for myself if his team's flag is actually there," Jo said. "Snake boy cheating or not, we have to make sure we don't lose today's challenge, and snatching a flag before anyone else does might get us on Chris' good side."

"That won't matter if Jasmine didn't hide it well enough and someone finds ours before anybody else does," Jen pointed out.

"Jasmine's like, two meters of solid muscle. She can handle a few measly chumps just fine." Jo ran off.

Some time later

"Ha!" Jo crowed (hey, that rhymes!) triumphantly when she arrived in the Drama Arena and saw Zoey sitting on the bleachers. "I knew it!"

"Knew what?" Zoey asked, confused.

"Eh, it's not important. But I know where your flag is!"

"N-no you don't!"

"You're sitting right above it, aren't you? Matter of fact, I can see a small scrap of sky blue right under your hiking boots." Zoey looked down at her brown boots and saw that one corner of her team's flag was sticking out of the bleachers.

Zoey sighed. "Fine, you got me."

"Excellent. Now, if you'll excuse me..." Jo shoved Zoey to the side, lifted the flap, retrieved the flag, and ran off.

"And East is the first team down, thanks to Zoey not being careful about being obvious!" Chris declared, his face filling the screen.

"Th-that's not entirely it!" Zoey exclaimed. "Jo knew exactly where to look!"

Confessional – Alejandro.

"I was not expecting that to work," Alejandro admitted. He beamed brightly. "But it did! And I know just who I'm going to vote out. Chris' little announcement will make sure of that."

Confessional – Chef.

"That one's trouble, 'course I've always known that," Chef said bluntly. "That little scheme o' his ain't gonna work out too well for him in th' future, though. I jus' know it."

North

"Jasmine, where's your cage?" Emma asked, having found her in the laundry room.

"Like I'd tell you. Or let you take it." Jasmine stopped. "Hey, since my team's flag is locked up, would you get credit for having the box with the flag in it?"

"I don't think so, Chris would be one to get technical about whether or not we've actually touched it. And we haven't had a proper locksmith since B got eliminated."

"Not that he'd help you, I think he was on West the last time we had these teams. Hard to tell, that episode was a long time ago."

"Yeah, and it was pretty chaotic. At least then we had color-coded jerseys." Emma sighed. "I guess I'll try to find West's flag then."

"West is out second with North in possession of their flag!" Chris announced.

"...I'll ask my team if they're willing to help me deal with you."

Confessional – Brick and Geoff.

"What happened?" Brick asked. "How did we lose?"

Geoff blushed sheepishly. "I...kinda got so bored in the control room that I totally fell asleep. By the time I woke up, Harold was cheesing it with our flag."

"Ah."

Confessional – Harold.

"I didn't even need Master Steve to hone my stealth skillz," Harold said matter-of-factly, waving West's flag carelessly in his right hand. "Years of trying to avoid Duncan and various other people have like, really given me good hiding instincts. But Master Steve's Stealth Camp certainly helped."

The flag suddenly wound itself tightly around his hand. "GOSH! I'M STUCK! AAAAAHHHHHHHHH!" he wailed as he tried to shake the stubborn nylon cloth off his hand.

South

"So, Jasmine is guarding North's flag in the laundromat?" Jacques asked Emma. South had met up underneath the Forked Maple.

"Yep. I need someone to distract her while Josee runs in and snatches it. She's the fastest of anyone here."

"I volunteer Sugar as the distraction," Taylor said gruffly. "It's not like she's good for much else."

"Yeah!" Sugar agreed. She paused. "...waitaminnit, yer makin' fun ah' meh!"

"Also, we'll need someone to pick the lock," Emma continued, ignoring Sugar's outburst completely. "Chris might get nitpicky about touching our flag counting as possession."

"I can handle that," Crimson shrugged.

"Good, thanks."

"Why not just have DJ break the plastic box?" Josee asked.

"One, we don't know where he is, and finding him would risk North stealing our flag. Two, he could get really hurt from the broken plastic if he tried to break it with his bare hands. Three, Chris probably won't allow him to actually break it, and we'd get disqualified if that's the case."

Josee considered her options. "You were right about Alejandro only caring for himself," she said at last, "so I shall trust you on this. But mark my words, short one; once Alejandro is gone, your precious alliance is going down."

"I figured as much. Josee, Sugar, you know where to find Jasmine. Good luck. And I mean it."

Sometime later

"Jasmiiiiiiiiiiiine!" Sugar whined, flopping against the taller girl, who was now standing guard outside the one door to the. "Lemme in, it's cold out here!"

"Get used to it, then," Jasmine sighed, not wanting to deal with her.

"So hey, I was thinkin'. Al 'liminated his girlfriend. Would ya do thah same fer yers?"

"Shawn? I don't think we ever made it official," Jasmine shrugged. "Probably not, though, unless he did something really dumb to make me mad at him or we were really close to the merge." She narrowed her eyes. "You're trying to distract me, aren't you?"

"Yeah, kinda. And it werked! Holler, Josee!" Jasmine gasped as Josee, carrying North's plastic cage, dashed out of the laundry room. Sugar cackled as she sped (well, lumped, really) after her.

Jasmine groaned. "At least Chris didn't say they had it, so I guess Emma was right in that the only way for possession to count is to actually touch it. That'll give me some time to look for South's flag."

South

Crimson took out a paper clip, bent it into the right shape, and picked the lock of the plastic cage. "And we're in possession," she said monotonously, touching her team's flag with a black-painted index finger.

"And North is out third with South in possession of their flag! South, your flag is still in your possession, so you win! DJ, get your team's flag out of Cabin 5's dresser drawer and meet us back here at the cliff!"

"It's almost like Chris wanted South to win by giving them such a hard-to-conceive hiding place," one of the guards remarked.

"Hey, the other three were pretty good hiding spots. If Alejandro hadn't thrown the challenge by tailing Zoey, if Geoff hadn't fallen asleep, if Jasmine had paid more attention to her surroundings, and if the kids had combed the area faster, then any of the teams could've won," said another. "Alright, no psychos here unless you count the host. Let's go home, gang."

The many other assorted guards agreed loudly.

"Okay, let's go over the scores!" Chris announced. "First place goes to South, the final team to have their own flag remain in their possession and one additional flag in their possession! You also guessed correctly that you had to actually touch an opposing team's flag to get them out!" South cheered.

"Second place goes to North, the last team to lose their own flag with two additional flags in their possession! You are safe from elimination!" North cheered as well, but not as enthusiastically as South.

"Third place goes to West, the second team to lose their own flag with no additional flags in their possession. You didn't lose your flag first, so you are safe from elimination!" West murmured amongst themselves in relief.

"And last place goes to East, the first team to lose their own flag with no additional flags in their possession. Meet me at the campfire at eight, East, it's time to vote someone out!" East sighed in disappointment...all, that is, except Alejandro.

Confessional – Alejandro.

"And now to reduce the Misfits." He wrote ZOEY on a piece of paper.

Confessional – Justin.

"It's pretty obvious that Alejandro's trying to shift blame from himself onto Zoey for losing today's challenge," Justin explained. "But I'm too smart to fall for that, so I'll vote for Scarlett since she's even smarter. Well, that and she didn't think to call Alejandro out on obviously throwing the challenge." He wrote SCARLETT on a piece of paper.

Confessional – Scarlett.

"Although Alejandro throwing the challenge is a very likely possibility, I simply lack the data necessary to draw such a conclusion, and considering the increased scrutiny Chris has placed the interns under I don't think I'll get it today. There's also the fact that Zoey did factor into our team's loss as she was careless about misdirecting Jo from where our flag was hidden, not to mention the considerable influence her alliance still holds." She wrote ZOEY on a piece of paper.

Confessional – Zoey.

"I know I'm probably up for elimination today, but I think Scarlett should've at least, y'know, said something so Chris could discipline Alejandro in some fashion," Zoey explained as she wrote SCARLETT on a piece of paper. "Although considering he's basically Chris' favorite contestant I'm not sure that would do anything."

"Here's how we do eliminations," Chris said. "We use the marshmallow system here. When I call your name, come get one." Three of the six fluffy candies were colored. "The marshmallows are color-coded to show how many votes you got because the skies of drama are falling. White means no votes against you, and the recipients are Alejandro, Justin, and Leshawna." The three of them got their marshmallows, Justin scowling at Alejandro as they returned to their seats.

Next, Chris pointed to the blue marshmallow. "Blue means you received only one vote against you. Ennui, that would be you."

"I see," Ennui said monotonously.

"Green means you got more than one vote, but are still safe. Today, there aren't any to give." Two colored marshmallows remained. "Orange means you're on the chopping block, and red means you're out. Scarlett. Zoey."

The redheads looked at each other.

"Two redheads enter, only one leaves. Scarlett, you're quite smart scientifically but somewhat lacking in common sense. Zoey, you messed up today and got your team to lose. With fifty percent more votes...

...

...

...

...

"Zoey, you're done with one vote more!"

Zoey gulped. "W-well, at least I can find out how Mike's been doing..."

Confessional – Leshawna and Harold.

"We're the only two left on the original Cyan Sharks," Harold gulped.

"Then we'll have to make extra sure we can't lose any more challenges when Chris uses these teams," Leshawna declared. "It's you and me now, baby."

"Yeah! And I'm happy it's you at my side in this team." Leshawna blushed.

"Well, I guess two good things came out of Zoey's elimination!" Chris stood outside the cabin where DJ had hidden his team's flag. "Sixty-three down. Twenty-one remain. We've hit the three-fourths mark, people, and Season Three isn't even over yet! Wow! Who'll climb the mountain of victory and who'll get flagged down? Find out on

"Total.

"Drama!"

"Hey, Chris?" Sky asked. "Why is this episode called 'Sky Fall'? I haven't fallen or done anything dumb today." She suddenly slipped on a patch of ice and fell on her butt. "Ow!"

"You have now," Chris grinned, before slipping on the same patch of ice and falling himself.

"It's down to us now," Noah said to Brick and Emma the next day during lunch. "We're the only three remaining members of Team E-Scope. If we're going to get Alejandro out in five days, we're going to have to convince everyone to vote against him."

"Well, you've convinced us." Noah turned around and saw Sugar, Jacques, and Josee standing behind them. "We will help you get rid of that snake," Jacques continued.

"Come aboard, soldier!" Brick declared. "Alejandro's immunity will wear off during the next Field Trip, so we must be prepared to find out what kind of challenge Chris has in mind for that date!"

"And the sooner we find out, the better we can prepare to beat him," Emma finished.
