I figured I would do a Dennis the Bunny episode. It doesn't seem like Phineas and Ferb characters only appear in one episode very alawys seem to come back for more. Dennis might have been a minor villain but he still appeared in two different episodes.
I figured I could include him in this fanfic, since I thought he would be fun to write for. He already worked with Dr. Doofenshmirtz, so I figured he would be working with Dr. Drakken this time.
Well, this time he will be working with them both. But you get the idea.
Chapter 76: Run For Your Bunny
Dennis the Bunny had once again escaped from OWCA's clutches. How did he escape again? He had hidden on a truck. To be honest, it hadn't actually been an escape plan.
The delivery truck had simply been filled with carrots...and he was in love with those.
But nevertheless, he was free.
And given that he was a master of disguise, it would be pretty hard for the OWCA to find him. It helped that he was fast and that he was small in size.
He decided he was going to get even with Perry the Platypus. It would serve him right for interfering with his plans.
However, it might be best if he didn't go at it alone.
After all, he had the entire OWCA on his side. And they would most likely hunt him down once they realized he had escaped.
And he wasn't looking forward to being sent to OWCA prison again.
Perhaps he could find somebody who also had a grudge against the OWCA.
Curious, he noticed a flyer reading HELP WANTED FOR DR. DRAKKEN.
Perhaps this man was an enemy of the OWCA.
After all, OWCA often went up against mad scientists.
He decided he would visit this scientist.
Maybe he could build something that would help him topple Perry the Platypus.
He headed straight towards the villain's lair.
At Dofoenshmirtz Evil Incorporated...
"I have to admit, it feels strange helping save the world twice when you've spent ages trying to conquer it." noted Dr. Drakken.
"It doesn't feel so strange to me...maybe because I used to be part of a team of superheroes." admitted Shego.
Dr. Drakken was waiting for someone to volunteer to be his minion.
But so far, nobody has shown up.
"Why hasn't anybody showed up?" asked Dr. Drakken.
"Maybe because they think you're beyond help." answered Shego.
"Shego!" exclaimed the mad scientist.
Suddenly, Dennis the bunny walked in.
"Who let a bunny in here?" asked Drakken.
'Don't look at me!" exclaimed Shego.
Dennis put on his fedora.
"It's an agent of OWCA! Shego, blast him!" exclaimed Dr. Drakken.
"You want me to blast a cute bunny rabbit? Really?" questioned Shego. Next he'll be telling her to blast puppies.
Dennis squeaked.
"Wait, you're not here to fight? You're here to help?" asked the mad scientist.
The evil rabbit nodded.
Dr. Doofenshmirz entered the room
"Hey, I know you! You're that OWCA agent that went rogue!" exclaimed Dr. Doofenshmirtz.
He had busted him out of prison.
Although, he wondered how he had escaped this time.
Dennis remembered Dr. Doofenshmirtz as well.
He had come closer to toppling the OWCA than he had ever did.
He heard that Dr. Doofenshmirtz had lost to an agent named Planty the Potted Plant.
How did he lose to an inanimate plant?
It just didn't make any sense.
If he had gone up against Planty the Potted Plant, he imagined that it would end with him eating the leafy secret agent.
"Want to topple the OWCA? We'd be doing L.O.V.E.M.U.F.F.I.N. a huge favor!" exclaimed Dr. Doofenshmirtz.
"You call your group L.O.V.E.M.U.F.F.I.N?" questioned Shego.
"It doesn't exactly sound evil." noted Dr. Drakken. Though he did like muffins.
"I can think of a new group name later! For now, let's topple the OWCA!" shouted the scientist.
Dennis wondered how he was going to do that.
It was the four of them against a group of highly trained agents.
Dr. Doofenshmirtz pulled out a CD.
"We can use this to brainwash the OWCA into doing our bidding!" exclaimed the scientist.
"You think we can use that on Kim Possible?" asked Dr. Drakken.
"Maybe later." answered Dr. Doofenshmirtz.
The mad scientist who dressed in white handed the CD to Dennis.
"You seem like the perfect guy for this mission!" exclaimed the hunchback.
He also handed Dennis the Bunny some earmuffs so that he wouldn't get brainwashed by the CD himself.
"I consider myself lucky that I have earmuffs that are the perfect size for your big ears." remarked the divorcee.
Dennis nodded.
Though to be fair, rabbits were known to be lucky.
The four of them snuck their way to OWCA HQ.
Dennis snuck his way in by dressing as Carl.
Major Monogram noticed him.
However, he ended up falling for the disguise.
"Good afternoon, Carl. Is it just me, or are you white as a sheet? Have you been watching horror movies?" questioned Major Monogram.
Dennis nodded.
"If you need to pause the video and take deep breaths, then go on ahead." spoke the major.
Fortunately for him, Dennis managed to avoid detection.
He put the CD into the mainframe computer.
Immediately, it began to take effect.
"My name is Doof and you will do what I say!" exclaimed the floating head of Dr. Doofenshmirtz on the computer monitors.
Now the entire OWCA were under Dr. Doofenshmirtz's control.
"Yes! I won!" exclaimed Dr. Doofenshmirtz.
"Wait, where's Perry the Platypus?" asked Dr. Drakken.
"He isn't here? Darn it! I was hoping to make him humiliate myself for my amusement!" shouted the doctor. That would have really made his day.
Maybe if he succeeded in brainwashing him, he could make him dance to a parody of this theme song.
"Dr. D does that for me all the time." answered Shego.
"Shego!" bellowed Dr. Drakken. When would Shego respect him?
"Ah well. At least now we can make the OWCA do whatever we want!" exclaimed Dr. Doofenshmirtz.
That included Major Monogram.
It looked like as if they had missed Rufus the naked mole rat as well.
But other than that, it seemed that they had brainwashed the entire OWCA. Not a small feat.
The OWCA agents changed the sign outside (which read OWCA HQ) to L.O.V.E.M.U.F.F.I.N HQ.
"Hahahahaha!" laughed Heinz Doofenshmirtz.
This plan had gone perfectly.
Well, almost perfectly. But he could deal with Agent P and Agent R later.
A short while later...
Minor Monogram decided to stop by to see how his father was doing.
It was nice to have a family reunion every now and then.
Especially since his father was usually busy with his work.
He was married to the job, alright.
He found his father along with multiple OWCA agents, who had gathered outside.
"How's everything going?" asked Minor Monogram to his father.
"All hail Dr. Doofenshmirtz!" shouted Major Monogram.
He and the OWCA agents were bowing down to a large statue of Dr. Doofenshmirtz.
"You are our master, Dr. Doofenshmirtz!" exclaimed Carl.
"Am I dreaming?" asked the minor.
Dennis wondered if Dr. Doofenshmirtz would have a statue made of him as well. This wouldn't have been possible without his help, after all.
Then again, a statue of a bunny probably wouldn't look so imposing. People would probably think that the statue looked cute.
It certainly was an unusual day.
Meanwhile...
Perry the Platypus wondered why he hadn't been called in for his usual mission.
Was Dr. Doofenshmirz not trying to conquer the Tri-State Area?
That was rather unusual of him. Doofenshmirtz didn't seem like the type of guy who would give up.
Phineas and Ferb were brainstorming one of their usual ideas.
"Hey, where's-oh wait, Perry is still here." spoke Phineas.
For once it looked as if he wasn't going to miss out on their fun today.
Perry noted to himself that it just wasn't the same without Major Monogram sending him on a mission.
What was going on?
Well, maybe he could spend the day with Rufus. Perhaps he too hadn't been assigned on a mission.
It was nice to hang out with him. They were both pets that were rather unusual.
Sure enough, Rufus was going for a walk. Unsurprisingly, he was planning on going to Bueno Nacho once he was finished.
Perry waved hello.
"Heyo!" exclaimed Rufus.
Nearby, Kim received a message on her Kimmunicator.
"Bad news, Kim! Dr. Doofenshmirtz's at it again! He's brainwashed the agents of OWCA!" shouted Wade.
Now they were as evil as LO.V.E.M.U.F.F.I.N. themselves.
"Really? I don't ever recall him being this competent." noted Kim. The fact that he had managed to topple the OWCA was a real shock to her.
Would he succeed in toppling Global Justice next?
"Well, he does have Dr. Drakken and Shego on his side." pointed out the boy. It was a lot easier to conquer the world if you didn't try to do it alone.
"True. Do you know how he brainwashed them?" asked Kim.
Perhaps he had built a Brainwashinator or something.
"I believe he used a CD." answered Wade.
"So...no shampoo then?" questioned the girl. She remembered Dr. Drakken's evil shampoo. She had almost gotten dipped into it once in fact. It was surprising how dangerous Camille and Gill turned out to be when they worked together.
She considered herself lucky it didn't fly off the shelves...though it helped that she took action when Dr. Drakken decided to make a rap about said shampoo.
"Given that most of the OWCA agents are animals, it doesn't seem likely that most of them would use shampoo." noted Wade. Though it was plausible that they would use flea powder every once in a while.
"Fair point." answered Kim.
"I worry what will happen if Dr. Doofenshmirtz continues using that CD. He might indeed succeed in conquering the Tri-State Area...and perhaps go further." spoke the concerned boy.
He didn't seem like the type of person to quit while he was ahead.
"You're right. It would be best if we stopped him." suggested the cheerleader.
She didn't want the Tri-State Area to become the Tri-Doofenshmirtz Area. She wasn't aware of it, but that had actually happened in an alternate dimension. Even if that particular Doofenshmirtz ended up being dethroned.
It looked like she was going to Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated.
Luckily, Perry knew that place like the back of his hand. Though he had to admit it was a very large building.
"I've also got more bad news. A rogue OWCA agent has escaped from their custody. His name is Dennis. He's stolen millions of dollars from the Tri-State Area." noted Wade.
"I wonder if these two events are somehow connected." spoke Kim.
"Well, Dr. Doofenshmirtz would have had an easier time brainwashing the OWCA if he happened to have someone who knew the OWCA well." admitted Wade. Getting to know one's enemy was a good way to defeat one's enemy.
He decided to check the security footage.
Sure enough, there was what appeared to be a rabbit sneaking into the OWCA.
"You think that's him?" asked Kim. There was something odd about that rabbit.
"Looks that way." nodded Wade.
"Who would have thought that a rabbit could be so dangerous?" questioned the cheerleader.
"Well, Rufus manages to be a competent OWCA agent despite his small size." admitted Wade. He could fight foes that were much bigger than he was.
"True. I've seen him battle Atrosis more than once." spoke Kim. He also took down Eric the Synthodrone. And that was before he became a secret agent.
"On the lighter side of things, I think Perry managed to avoid being brainwashed. He was at his home at the time of the break-in." noted the boy.
It looks like luck was on Perry's side today.
"Good. Something tells me he's fought Dennis before." answered the cheerleader.
Kim contacted Perry on his watch.
"Hey, Perry. I've got bad news. OWCA's been brainwashed by Dr. Doofenshmirtz." noted Kim.
Perry's eyes widened with shock and he opened his mouth.
Was OWCA now an evil organization?
Maybe they would change their name to Evil Villainous Insidious Legion. And yes, that was EVIL for short.
"We have to stop Dr. Doofenshmirtz before he brainwashes anyone else." spoke the cheerleader.
Perry thought that was a good idea. It was bad enough that the OWCA had been brainwashed. Who knows what would happen if he managed o brainwash other organizations?
"Are you familiar with Dennis the Bunny by any chance?" questioned Kim. Given that Dennis used to work with the OWCA, it seemed plausible that he knew him.
Perry wondered why she was asking.
He hadn't escaped from prison, had he? It had happened once before...unfortunately.
"According to Wade, he helped Dr. Doofenshmirtz with his brainwashing plan." explained the cheerleader.
Perry found this to be concerning. Dennis the Bunny was very dangerous. If he hadn't been distracted by carrots, he could have toppled the OWCA all by himself.
And given his knack for disguise, it was plausible that Dennis could sneak up on them when they were least expecting it.
It would be best if they apprehended him...fast. Especially since he was working with Dr. Doofenshmirz and Dr. Drakken.
Kim told Ron and Rufus that they were going on another mission.
"We're going up against a bunny?" questioned Ron. That was a first.
"Not just any bunny." answered Kim.
Rufus had heard about Dennis. Carl had told him about him once. He said that it was a sad day when one of their own had decided to betray them.
Of course, there had been a time where Carl was brainwashed and he himself decided to betray the OWCA. Who would have thought that he would be such an effective villain?
"He bad!" exclaimed Rufus.
"Although, the fact that he is a bunny gives me an idea." noted Kim.
She decided to consult an old friend of hers.
That was what she did when she wished to get around the world, after all.
"Is there any way we can reverse the brainwashing?" asked the cheerleader. The Tri-State Area could very well be in danger now that the OWCA were brainwashed by Dr. Doofenshmirtz.
"If we destroy the CD, everyone should return to normal." explained Wade.
Kim sighed in relief.
At Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated...
"This plan went flawlessly! I think I'll use this CD on my brother next!" exclaimed Dr. Doofenshmirtz.
He would love to see his brother bow to him.
It made him so mad that his parents favored him.
"Have you thought of using the CD on Kim Possible?" asked Shego. His archenemy would be out of the picture if he did that.
"You should do it! With her out of the picture I can do whatever I want!" exclaimed Dr. Drakken.
She was a worthy foe, of course. But it would be preferable to have her as an ally instead of an enemy.
Roger was helping himself to some carrots.
Dr. Doofenshmirtz had decided to reward him for his help.
Perhaps he and Dr. Doofenshmirtz could be friends.
Although, Heinz wondered if Dennis would backstab him as he had done the OWCA. Would he sell him out to Global Justice?
If he became a double-crosser once, he could become a double-crosser again.
"Hey, Dennis. Why did you betray the OWCA?" asked Dr. Doofenshmirtz.
Surely there had to be a reason for it.
Did he too have a bad childhood? That was the reason why he had become evil.
Although, his second-dimension counterpart had become evil simply because he lost his toy train.
Dennis drew a picture of a ferret wearing a fedora.
"The OWCA recruited a ferret? How insensitive!" exclaimed the mad scientist.
He nodded. The ferret had promised Major Monogram that he would not prey on any of the other agents...but Dennis didn't know that.
"Major Monogram is starting to remind me of my own parents. I'm glad he's my slave now!" shouted Dr. Doofenshmirtz. It served him right for not thinking of Dennis's feelings.
Dennis nodded in agreement.
"Maybe I'll use it on Atrosis. I would love it if she got herself committed to an asylum." noted Shego.
That was where she belonged. In the loony bin.
"I was thinking maybe using it on Professor Dementor. He thinks that he's better than me. With that CD I'll be walking all over him!" exclaimed Dr. Drakken.
"We sure have a lot of ideas for that CD, don't we?" asked Dr. Doofenshmirtz.
Maybe they should make more than one. It would save them time.
Dennis the Bunny squeaked.
'You heard that I have plant powers? I sure do! I used them to save the world...as ironic as it sounds." noted Dr. Drakken. They had been surprisingly helpful in taking down those tripods.
The bad bunny wished that he had that.
He would have all the carrots that he could possibly eat.
Although, the vet had told him that carrots are sugary.
Maybe he should cut down on them a bit.
Suddenly, an alarm went off.
"WARNING! PERRY THE PLATYPUS IS COMING TO GO SEMI-AQUATIC MAMMAL OF ACTION ON YOU!" warned the alarm.
"Perry the Platypus. His presence is completely unexpected...by which I mean. completely expected!" exclaimed Dr. Doofenshmirtz. He was glad that he had decided to install that alarm. It was surprising how stealthy Perry the Platypus could be.
Upon closer inspection, Perry had decided not to come alone.
He had brought Ron, Kim, and Rufus with him.
It looks like they were going to have to get ready to fight the heroes.
Personally Dr. Doofenshmirtz considered it a shame. He was just about to throw a party to celebrate the conquering of L.O.V.E.M.U.F.F.I.N. For once evil had won and good had lost.
Even Roddenstein would have to admit that what he did was pretty impressive.
Fortunately, Dr. Doofenshmirtz was ready to fight.
In addition, he had brought Norm with him.
"I wonder if I should build an inator that will make Perry the Platypus disappear." noted Dr. Doofenshmirtz.
That seemed like a good idea.
"Didn't you once build the Shrinkspheria?" questioned Norm. That made things disappear.
"That's right, I did." nodded Dr. Doofenshmirtz.
It was nice to have something that would get rid of things he did not like.
Although, he had a group of angry German musicians outside Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated after he decided to get rid of musical instruments that started with the letter B.
Perhaps he should have used the Shrinkspheria more carefully.
Should he rebuild it? Perhaps he could make it so that Perry the Platypus would have a harder time destroying it.
But for now, he would focus on battling Perry and his companions.
He had to admit, not fighting Perry the Platypus one on one really made things more interesting.
He also was fighting other villains. He had fought Atrosis once with a rubber chicken...though that hadn't ended well for him.
"Let's see if Perry manages to defeat evil this time!" exclaimed Dr. Doofenshmirtz.
He was looking forward to this, that was for sure.
Since they didn't explain why Dennis decided to double-cross the OWCA I came up with my explanation. I still think Dennis is a good villain even if we didn't get an insight into his motivations, but when you write a fanfic, you get to include your own theories.
