*Syrus' POV*

I had just finished getting dressed.

Today was the day me and Zane are going to Horseland and surprise Alma. I was dressed in the same outfit I was in when Jaden and the others came to see me and Zane one week before we moved. Remembering that day reminded me that it will be a long time before we can see each other again. "I hope Chancellor Sheppard will allow them to come here for a school trip.' I thought as I left my room and went downstairs.

I saw Zane sitting at the dining room table, looking over different manager resumes on his phone. He was dressed in a blue jacket over a plain light gray shirt, dark blue jeans that were a bit loose, and the black shoes he wore back when he went to Duel Academy and when he first went Pro. I smiled at this. Zane wasn't just looking more like his old self everyday, but he was also relaxing more.

"I'm ready to go big bro!" I said, startling Zane a bit. I held back a small chuckle. Whenever Zane was focused on something like he was just now, he was always easy to sneak up on. "Okay. I'll get Mom and tell her we're ready to go." He said as he got up. Zane then went to get Mom.

I then grabbed a chocolate chip muffin and started eating it as I waited for Mom and Zane.

After a few minutes they came. "Really Sy?" Zane said when he saw that I was eating. "What? I didn't have breakfast because I was so excited to see Alma again. Like someone else in this room." I smirked at him. Zane then grabbed a muffin for himself and we went to the car. As soon as we got in and buckled up, Mom started the car and started driving us to Horseland.

"How much do you think Alma changed since we last saw her?" I asked Zane once we finished eating out muffins. But he just shrugged his shoulders.

As we drove towards Horseland I looked out the window. 'I can't wait to see Alma again. And I wonder what Horseland is like?' I thought with a small smile.

~Meanwhile at Horseland~*No One's POV*

Alma and the others were getting the jumping course ready before the new riders arrived. "I can't wait to see what the new riders are like." Baily said once they finished.

"I wonder if they're french." Zoey wondered. Everyone but Will and Chloe rolled their eyes at her.

Meanwhile the horses were talking. "I can't wait to see how surprised Alma will be when Syrus and Zane arrive today." Button said with a smile. Loba and Senshi neighed in agreement. Over the past few days Loba and Senshi had told them so much about the two brothers that it felt like they already met them.

Back outside Shep, Teeny, and Angora were resting in the sunshine when the collie of the trio heard a car coming, causing him to lift his head. After a few minutes a car appeared. "That must be the new riders." Molly said as the car came to a stop. Once it stopped completely two of the doors opened and two people stepped out. People that the others only saw in a picture but Alma knew personally.

"Syrus! Zane!" She said as she went to hug her cousins. The three cousins then did a group hug together as Syrus and Zane's mother said good-bye to them. "I can't believe it! You two are the new riders? But what about...?" Alma started but Syrus interrupted her. "A lot of crazy stuff happened the last two years. Mom and Dad think it'll be safer for us here." He explained to her as best as he could without scaring her.

The three then separated from their hug and Alma went to introduce Syrus and Zane to her friends. The group continued to talk as they went to the stables. "I knew those two horses looked familiar. I hadn't seen Loba and Senshi since they were foals, I had a hard time recognizing them." She said.

When they got inside the stables they all went to their horses. "Missed me girl?" Syrus said as he petted Loba's muzzle. He then got Loba's riding gear and went into Loba's stable to put the gear on, Zane did the same. "Oh. I almost forgot." Syrus said as he pulled an apple out of his pocket and held it out for Loba, who grabbed it with her teeth and ate it.

The riders then went to the arena. "Alright everyone, as you already know Syrus will be in your riding class and Zane will help teach you guys whenever he can." Will explained to them. Zoey then raised her hand. "Yes Zoey?" Will said.

"I was wondering what do you mean by Zane will help teach us whenever he can?" She asked him. Zane was the one to answer her. "In addition to being a horse rider, I'm also a Pro Duelest. So as soon as I find a manager I'll be dueling in leagues whenever a duel is set for me." He explained to her. Chloe was about to say something but Syrus spoke first. "No. That doesn't mean we're rich."

Alma, Molly, Bailey, and Sarah laughed a bit. "Wow primo, you really grew during your time at Duel Academy. Because when I told you about Chloe and Zoey in a letter a few years ago, you wrote that you can never do what you did just now towards them." Alma said. Syrus then laughed as well. 'I guess Jaden's confidence really rubbed off on me. Along with a bit of the others.' He thought.

For the next few minutes Will taught the group some dressage moves and then Zane taught them about cross country tricks for duel jumps. Once they were done with the lessons they put their horses in their stalls and fed them before they went to have some to eat themselves.

Syrus got a sandwich and went outside to eat. When he has a simple lunch Syrus always ate outside, a habit both he and Zane got from living where they used to live back in Japan. Thinking about it made him start to miss his friends. "I've only seen them for the last time for a while a week ago and I already miss them." Syrus said as he sat down beneath a tree and started eating his sandwich.

He sat there for a few minutes before Alma and Zane came up to him. "You never change." Alam said as she and Zane sat down with Syrus. He smiled at this, it's been a few years since the three of them sat down together.

'We hadn't been together like this since a month after I got Loba.' Syrus thought as the three of them continued to sit in the shade together.
