CHAPTER TWO
"Mr. Stark I swear I wasn't late to school even though i stopped a lady from being raped." I started rapidly explaining to the man who has basically become my father figure. "Kid, what are you talking about? Don't tell me you forgot?" Mr. Stark said to me I looked at him and then at Happy "Mr. Stark, I don't know what you mean." I said. He looked at me and shook his head and walked into the compound and waved at me to follow him so I did. We walked into the living area and all the lights were off. I was confused but before I could say anything the lights came on "SURPRISE HAPPY BIRTHDAY MADDY!" I was shocked. I completely forgot it was my birthday. "Guys oh my gosh I completely forgot it was my birthday." I told them. They all laughed and Captain America came over to me (Mr. Stark forgave , Mr. Wilson and after they explained about 's mind control thing.) "Happy birthday kid I might not understand this whole transgender thing but if it makes you happy then I am all for it." he said as he handed me a box, i opened the box and inside was a dress that is black with a stitched arc reactor in the middle of it. I gasped and held it up and showed "Thank you so much Mr. Captain America sir." he just laughed and ruffled my hair after him came my Aunt May "Happy birthday baby." she said as she hugged me I teared up as she handed me her gift inside was a painting that says "I LARB YOU MADDY PARKER" I looked at May "I larb you too May." After May came Natasha or as I have been told to call her Mama Spider "Hey ya go Baby Spider." she gave me a bag and I opened it and saw a Bunch of different bras. "Mama Spider thank you but I can't wear these yet I haven't had top surgery yet." I told her but she just smiled and walked away. Everyone gave me their gifts which are mostly clothes like Wanda and Vision gave me a mini red leather jacket that matches Wanda "In case people try to mess with my baby sister." Mr. Bucky gave me a new laptop "For school work or whatever these damned things are supposed to do now." next was Mr. Stark and Miss Pepper. I turned to look at them and Mr. Stark handed me a letter. I looked at him confused, "Open it Maddy." Miss Pepper said to me, so I did and when I read what it said I started crying the letter said Dear Miss Parker we here at Johns Hopkins are pleased to inform you that Mr. Tony Stark with consent from Miss May Parker has paid the full amount for you to have top surgery on September 25th. We look forward to seeing you and to watching as you become the woman you are meant to be. Sincerely Doctor B F Pierce MD. I looked at Mr. Stark and he smiled at me as he and his wife opened their arms and I ran into their arms and hugged them while crying "Thank you so much." I kept repeating. Mr. Stark rubbed my back "You're welcome my spiderling. Dr. Pierce is the best surgeon in the world." Mr. Stark said to me. After a while the party slowly died off but I could be found clutching the letter to my chest. Soon I fell asleep on the couch and since I have a room here I guess they took me up to my bed.
The next morning I woke up and saw the letter and reread it for what felt like the millionth time. I smiled and jumped for joy while squealing and then remembered that means that I am one step closer to being fully me and happy in my own body.
