Day 11 Prompt: In Three Long Strides
Takes place a few days before Dirty Girls (7x18) and is a direct continuation of chapter 8.
Spike felt elated and free as he raced her through the cemetery. He leaped over a large family tombstone, dove left, and laughed when he heard her slip and curse behind him.
Dashing towards a fledge, he shoved the newbie on her path just as she was closing in on him. He turned around for a second to catch the show, but she just staked the wanker without breaking her stride and crashed into him not three steps later.
"Bloody hell, Slayer," he groaned as she thoroughly rubbed herself - and the stinky, gooey, thinly minced demon remains - all over him.
I loved the vibes of that other little snippet so much I had to continue it with this one ^^
