Chapter 9: the first morning
Despite his promised bed for the previous night Alex found himself sleeping between Scorch and Nina, in times before the revolution during his travels he had slept with his Pokemon in his tent during cold winter nights but more often because he felt lonely. Prior to said revolution Pokemon trainers like Alex would travel around lending a helping hand, performing in competitions and battles, these memories helped sooth him back to sleep though he woke up early in the morning at about 4'o'clock.
"They want a baby? Well they are gonna get one" Alex said some of his mischievous nature from his travels igniting back to life, with a slight seethe Alex first nudged Nina and scorch with his stumps before doing it again adding his elbows getting tired groans from both Pokeparents. Alex grinned as he then felt the pressure building in his bladder, "oh fuck" Alex thought to himself starting to push against both of them shifting them but not fully waking them up.
"Wake up I need to-" Alex said before the damn burst stopping his push then laid on his back his face turning red, "morning baby boy what's up? It's four in the morning" Scorch said yawning looking confused at the boys face. "What's wrong? Skitty got your tongue?" he said scooping up the human realizing what was wrong the minute his hand went under Alex's butt, "guess we gotta get you changed before you wake up mama with your crying eh?" Scorch said in a whisper getting up "I wasn't going to cry" Alex uttered in the same whispering tone as the two left the master bedroom.
"That's a lie" Fritz said the ghost type stepping out of the shadows almost making Alex give them another reason to change him, "ok maybe I was if you two were not going to wake up" Alex said in a huff as the three walked into the nursery.
There was more than yesterday there was a red chest covered in stickers that made it look like mars, the changing table was painted and dressed up to look like saturn. "space themed?" Alex said looking around the floor looking like an ocean with its carpet and the ceiling being painted pitch black with light being produced by small stars with LED that dotted the ceiling.
"Pastel colours are not your style Alex" Fritz said swishing his tail as the human is laid down on the table "good shout I would be doing more than resisting if you dressed me up in pink" Alex said as the bodyglove and diaper is removed, Scorch whilst not as fast as Nina didn't need it as Alex relaxed as the diaper is taped up then the wraps around his stumps are removed.
"Daddy I am fairly sure you're not supposed to do that" Alex said nervously before wanting to slap himself for saying that, Scorch smiled as Fritz went over to a dresser "don't worry daddy knows what he is doing this may feel a bit cold but it will feel better every time" Scorch says getting out a pot of cream. The Cinderace gently lifted Alex's first stump and without the wraps his baby boy winced at the touch but he continued dipping a couple fingers in the cream and began to smear it on and around the medical scars.
He saw Alex's face go from a twisted face of pain to a more wide spread look of relief "told you it would feel better" Scorch said as Fritz dumped a pair of socks by Alex's head, "I got some stuff to do before I go to bed myself" Fritz said striding away "what things?" Alex asked making Fritz look back at his trainer finding him too cute to not reply.
"well… I have to go wake up the Indeedee staff I got a day off" Fritz said before vanishing off around the corner.
"Hang on IndeedeEEEEEEEEEEEEE! HOO THAT'S SORE!" Alex said as Scorch went to the stump that lacked a knee, "yea when we found this place some wild Indeedee lived here about 7 total, we made a good deal that we would provide protection and materials in exchange for them serving us" Scorch said. "So you have servants… posh" Alex said getting a stunned look from Scorch "not- ok yes they are servants but they are more like little creatures from fairy tale books, you know leave them out a bowl of milk, some honey and crackers and you got their loyalty" Scorch said.
"I am guessing they will be my babysitter-HOO THAT TICKLES NO!" Alex said being startled by a black pair of compression socks being pulled over his stumps laughing as it happens, "good that means you still got nerve endings other than pain" Scorch said picking up Alex then setting the half naked boy on the ground.
"Scorch what on earth are you doing?" Alex said confused and slightly concerned at the events transpiring until said Pokeparent walked a few paces away from him then got on his knees, "come to daddy baby boy" Scorch said with a wide smile chuckling when Alex gave him a deadpan "you have got to be kidding me."
"Before you give me the 'I am not a baby' routine you're going to need to know how to move about by yourself so let's see if you can" Scorch said and Alex despite the humiliating circumstances knew he was right. Sighing to himself he leaned forward cringing as the slight sting sensation of his stumps eked in, "that's it Alex you got this" Scorch said encouragingly as Alex put one hand in front then hauled his one knee forward then finding a rhythm Alex clumsily crawled forward making it to Scorch.
"EXCELLENT!" Scorch said standing straight up holding Alex, "I need breakfast after that" Alex said panting and rubbing his upper arms feeling a minor burn through his muscles. Carrying him down to the small in comparison to the size of the building dining hall Alex complained the entire time that he was not fully dressed yet, he stopped when he found himself yet again trapped in the highchair "lets hope you won't need a bib then the look would be complete" Scorch said with a chuckle getting a glare from Alex.
Alex noticed the upturned horns of a male Indeedee with what appeared to be an oversized baby bottle balanced on its head trotting towards them, slumping back in his seat with a grimace on his face Alex at least expected a solid breakfast. "Now are you going to feed yourself your supplement or is daddy going to have to do it" Scorch said picking up the bottle and holding it in front of Alex, "oh that's just cruel, also that's like a litre of fluid I don't think il have room for an actual breakfast" Alex said staring at it.
"Breakfast comes at 6 baby boy but someone had to wake up daddy with a potty emergency" Scorch said unbuckling Alex from his seat then lifting up the human with a surprised squeak from Alex, "please do not call it a 'potty emergency' again" Alex said clapping his hand to his own forehead "then I will continue to call lit that" scorch said with a grin offering the bottle again.
Alex rolled his eyes and lazily opened his mouth and the nipple of the bottle was pushed in, when he clamped down on the nipple he first felt a rush of humiliation for the situation but also anxiety since the last time he had to drink a supplement it tasted like vomit and felt like someone was scrubbing his mouth with wet sandpaper. The fluid that came out was nothing like it smooth, sweet and creamy with the lightest hints of chocolate and mint.
Alex pushed the bottle out of his mouth getting a confused look from Scorch "something wrong? Is the texture not right? Flavour?" the cinderace asked looking at the bottle but Alex shook his head, "no it's just fine I just…. Did not expect it to taste nice what on earth is in it?" Alex asked and as Scorch was about to explain a female indeedee setting up the table let out a moo giving Alex a look of shock that from everyone else's perspective would be comical.
"You… you did not did you?" Alex said the thought of what he might have been drinking being like a flashbang to the face, "well I didn't they are the ones that volunteered it, could be worse though" Scorch said stroking Alex's cheek. "HOW!? YOU JUST MADE ME DRINK INDEEDEE TIT MILK!" Alex shouted his breathing growing heavy, "would you prefer it to be from both your mama's?" Scorch said in a joking way but it just made Alex's blush heavier.
Mama's what did he mean? Nina was supposed to be the mother right? But then realized the eagerness of Jessy too, "just… lets just get this over with I got questions later" Alex said shaking his head and with some reluctance let the bottle back in his mouth.
Scorch sat at the table feeding Alex smiling as the human just like back in the hospital curled into his warmth whilst drinking nuzzling the top of his head as he did so, though Alex knew this was the first time his stomach actually felt almost full in a good while despite the hospitals best efforts this felt alien and wrong but also familiar yet something he has needed.
After pulling the bottle away from Alex's lips Scorch let an indeedee take the empty bottle as the room began to fill with the smells of breakfast as the table was set even having a trough set outside a glass door to the outside for Cinder. Nina and Jessy came down in dressing gowns with Nina quickly receiving a hot cup of tea whilst Jessy got handed a can of an energy drink Alex was unfamiliar with.
"Morning, what was our little one being fussy about" Nina said kissing Alex's head snapping him out of his dozed state, "baby just needed a change" Scorch said dragging the highchair between him and Nina then sitting Alex back in it. "huh.. wa? Breakfast?" Alex said then was startled by the vast amount of food ranging from stacks of toast and mushroom to piles of sausages.
Alex recalled how much Alpha sized Pokemon eat but at the same time the indeedee staff also sat down with their own plates so a decent portion of the food was also for them, "my question" Alex said reaching for a box of generic frosted flakes "ah right what was it?" Scorch said concern creeping into his voice trying to keep it from going any further.
"What exactly is your relationship with each other now? Like I know you and Nina are married but what's going on?" Alex questioned pouring a bowl out for himself and the 3 of the 4 Pokeparents sighed, "let me explain this" Jessy said with Nina and Scorch nodding in agreement. "Have you ever heard of Polyamory?" Jessy said with Alex nodding "good, basically after we found out about the 'infantilization' of humans which from what we have found, a vast majority love to sit back and let their Pokemon take care of them but when we found out about it we vowed to come together as a family and find you" Jessy said as Alex shoved a handful of the cereal into his mouth.
"Both me and Nina want to be your mothers just like Scorch and Fritz want to be your daddys" the lopunny added her eyes for that moment losing their often derpy expression in exchange for one of a more heartfelt and serious one. "What about Cinder and Tonk?" Alex asked as Nina levitated a spoon onto the highchairs tray.
"Well Cinder is content being your pet and ferrying you around where ever you wish" Scorch said with a smile as Alex had another handful of cereal, "plus I sent Tonk off to do something deeper in the forest he will be back in a few days" Jessy said with her usual look returning.
Before Alex could put another handful of cereal in his mouth Nina sighed picking up the spoon, "please use a spoon darling, I know you haven't had access to one in 2 years but you're not feral" She said getting a laugh from Alex.
Today was going to be good.
