Chapter 14: humiliation, medicines and bath time
A week past since the family agreed to do their best for Alex especially when it comes to getting the boy settled into a routine, he stopped trying to resist when one of them fed him a bottle though still puts up a fuss when it comes to bed time but the 4 accepted it as an inevitable fact of taking care of a human.
Despite being a mother now Nina was still a doctor and there was one thing that disturbed her that when she mentioned it made the others stop and stare, "he literally hasn't pooped in 2 weeks" Nina said as the 4 sat on a sofa with Alex just out of earshot sitting in front of the TV watching a cartoon about a boy travelling with his pokemon family.
"Ok what brought this on? Plus isn't that good? You know no dirty diapers" Scorch said baffled by his wife's statement, "it really isn't whilst he was under the coma he had a literal pipe in his butt but now we kinda need him to…. Go before I can really say he is not going to be put back in the hospital any time soon" Nina said taking a tamato berry before popping it into her mouth casually chewing on it like a mint.
"Right…. And how do you suggest we… facilitate that" Fritz said uncomfortable with the idea but knowing it had to be done, "if we just gave him an enema that would be fast but I'd rather we save that for if we had no other option" Nina said then Jessy snapped her fingers. Alex turned his head to look at the commotion "don't worry sweetie I just remembered something just go back to your cartoon" Jessy said with Alex turning his head back towards the TV after giving a shrug.
"Worst lie you ever told" Fritz said shaking his head "not entirely a lie I did remember something certain berries when mixed with certain substances produces a laxative like effect, take advantage of his love for sweets and serve something up at dinner to give him a kickstart" Jessy said and Nina considered it.
"Why are we trying to be sneaky about it? Plus considering the topic Alex should know when we are concerned" Scorch said getting off the sofa and going over to Alex sitting by him cross legged, "are you not going to stop him?" Fritz asked taking a sip from his drink "unfortunately Scorch is stubborn but he does have a point best we just go around what he is doing" Nina said crunching into another berry.
Alex had felt like those 4 were up to something since they placed him in front of the TV but planning on getting answers later he had felt comfortable entertaining the idea that he was not paying attention, that is when Scorch plopped himself down right next to him "so what's wrong this time" Alex said plainly not ripping his eyes away from the TV.
Scorch sighed blushing a bit and this made Alex stare right at him not making it easier for his lagomorphic father figure, "we have been talking about your health Alex and I just want to say if you feel like you need to go number 2 please tell us so we can take you to the potty" Scorch said getting a baffled look from the human. "First off I thought you were going to force me to use the diaper for everything, secondly," Alex said a blush spreading on the humans face "I have been feeling a bit backed up recently so thanks I guess for being concerned?"
"I am sensing a third one" Scorch said his usual humour returning to his face, "yea why did you call it the potty? Just call it a toilet" Alex said getting a laugh from scorch "for a little one like you no" he said with that same face that let anyone that knows him know he is joking. "But in all seriousness please tell us if you need to go or have been it has been 2 weeks and we would prefer you not to go back to the hospital" Scorch said getting a hug from Alex.
Most of the day went some what normally or at least what passed for the new normal for Alex, it was 9AM when their little discussion about the potty happened, but after at 10AM he was brought out into the orchards again by Jessy to gather up Nanab berries, Rawst berries, Cheri berries, Peecha berries and Tamato berries.
He was practically exhausted after and took a nap at 12PM electing to have an extra bottle instead of lunch which Nina happily gave the human rocking him in the new rocking chair in the nursery, before squeezing in screen time browsing the web on his laptop he had to have a diaper change which Jessy did praying to Arceus that she wasn't the unlucky sod to deal with the diaper that would result after dinner.
After a more lazy afternoon of playing with his new toys only getting a few false alarms from his gut at 5PM it was dinner time, Jessy sent a single text to the other "Pudding has been prepared do not under any circumstance eat more than 5 if you do not want to end up like Alex this is medicinal the extra sugar is just going to help the medicine go down."
Dinner went as planned though the family noticed over the week Alex actually started to have an appetite with Fritz chalking it up to his body realizing that it's severely lacking resources, they did their usual during the meal to prevent re-feeding sickness but informed him that as a treat they had prepared a pudding that Alex might actually like.
Alex even as a child had sensory issues certain textures on his tongue regardless of how beautiful the flavour would make his mind panic, but what came fourth was a large plate of red Poke puffs with a chocolatey icing and 0 cream in the middle. Taking Jessy's warning into account the Pokeparents slowly ate 4 puffs each but Alex? Upon taking his first bite he stopped eating after 9 whole puffs declaring he was too full with Nina picking him up.
"I think it's high time to get you a bath don't want you getting too stinky" Nina cooed getting a whine of "I don't smell" from Alex as he was carried off, Scorch looked at Jessy with the most concerning eyes he has ever used "can you tell me how long we got till.. you know" Scorch said not wanting to think about it. "With the meat and vegetables in his system? Add the bottle he is going to get before bed hmm" Jessy said doing the maths in her head with Fritz giving his own stare, "about 1AM but that guess is a stab in the dark considering his body is going to be trying to rip through the nutrients ASAP" Jessy said getting a nod from Fritz.
Alex at this point had not used the bathroom connected to his room only really seeing the ocean blue walls from the few times an Indeedee went in to check if it needed things or even today when he asked for one of his Pokeparents to lift him onto the toilet because his gut felt off, when he got carried inside though it brought another blush to his face with walls decorated with all sorts of cartoony depictions of water type Pokemon on the walls.
A normal toilet sat in the corner next to a sink large enough to dunk an adult human but the actual bathtub was a walk-in one, it sat in the opposite corner to the toilet with a heavily padded and water proofed changing table right next to it.
"Your first bath here is gonna feel so much better than just being rubbed down with a cloth" Nina said as she helped Alex out of his clothes, "I guess it is though it has been a while since I have had a bath" Alex said as his diaper was removed. "I bet," Nina said sitting Alex on the baths seat before closing the side door "now what soap you want baby boy Drowzee Delight or Muscle Sooth?" she asked holding up a pair of soap bottles with the first having a cartoonish picture of a drowzee with a night cap whilst the other was a generic soap.
"Drowzee please" Alex said blushing with Nina putting the other down turning on the water and unscrewing the cap on the drowzee soap, "whoopsie" Nina said letting some soap drop on Alex's lap getting of all things a squeeing noise from him. As the tub filled up Nina playfully tickled at the area's the soap fell on Alex, this got shrieks of laughter from him "PLEASE NO!" Alex said between giggles as Nina smiled cooing at about how cute her and him was at this moment.
"PLEASE! STOP! I AM GOING TO PISS! STOP!" Alex said less as a threat but with a genuine sense of pleading in his voice that made Nina retract her hand "sorry sweetie didn't think your bladder got that sensitive" she said as the water began to lap up his stomach, "it was always like that" Alex said looking up at her with eyes that to Nina started to look more innocent. Noticing the water Nina turned her back for a moment grabbing something from the bag that contained the ever dwindling amount of painkillers issued to Alex.
Coming back with a plastic bottle with a screw cap that Alex could tell was used to measure out the liquid inside that shimmered like a rainbows reflection, "do you know what this is?" Nina asks placing the bottle on the edge of the tub and turning off the water since it reached Alex's chest. "Other than kinda pretty? Soap? But I am guessing there's something more to it" Alex said getting a nod from Nina, "this is something that has become legal practice to send human patients home with so that they may… regress physically I mean" Nina said nodding at the sudden look of alarm and fear spreading on Alex's face.
"YOU'RE GOING TO TURN ME INTO AN ACTUALLY HELPLESS BABY!" He shouted in heartbreakingly for Nina genuine fear, "no I am not but please listen to me on this," Nina said soothingly getting ready to use psychic for if he tried to scramble for freedom "the version of this medicine that actually shrinks a human is an injectable and much more potent."
"Then what does this actually do? If it isn't as you put it 'potent'" Alex said fear and suspicion in his voice, "the amount in this bottle is enough to encourage the regrowth of nerves, muscle and other tissue but also has some other… side effects" Nina said looking away a for a second. "Ok spit it out what is the side effects?" Alex asked in a curious tone, "well… for a human your age it will undo some parts of puberty fortunately the only effects to your skin will be smoothing it but any hair below the eye brows wont be able to grow" Nina said a blush spreading across her pale face.
"Ok there's an effect you're not saying smooth skin and no pubes I can deal with in fact I prefer it" Alex said folding his arms as he pressed his gardevoir for information, "you may experience a… slightly increased sex drive and nerve sensitivity though it isn't printed on the bottle" Nina said looking away. "Not printed on the bottle? Why the hell not? And why do you know this?" Alex asked still feeling as if there was something he was missing but unsure of if he wanted her to tell him.
"Ok," Nina sighed "when the medicines effects have started it locks the age of the person that uses it on the cellular level" Nina said. "English please I only passed secondary school biology" Alex said waving his hand, "Me, Scorch, Jessy, Fritz and Cinder all bathed in the stuff now we are locked at our current ages forever" Nina said getting a wide eyed look from Alex.
"So you're immortal?" Alex said getting a headshake from Nina "no sweetie we can still die it's just old age and the related damage from just aging wont kill us" she said smiling, "that actually sounds neat but what happened when you bathed in it? How did it feel?" Alex asked the question making the blush return to Nina's face.
"Well it felt for us at least since we used the… whole dosage for things our size to get it done quickly it was warm then one thing lead to another we kinda just-" Nina said mumbling the last bit, "kinda what?" Alex said now genuinely curious though in a few seconds he would grow to regret asking. "We.. had sex… 4 way whilst Cinder did unspeakable things to the sofa, it was kinda fun" Nina said thinking about that night but snapped out of it when she noticed Alex's face was bright red and moving bubbles over his crotch.
"B-but the dosages I want to use on you wont effect you THAT hard ok," Nina said as Alex just stared "I just need your consent before I use it a lot of Pokeparents would just use it but I need a yes from you." Alex felt touched at the idea to keep going with his pokemon but locked at his age forever? There was only 1 thing he really could say about it.
"Measure out the first dose and put it in, that is an order" Alex said looking at Nina who smiled measured out the first shotglass of the shimmering fluid and poured it into the bath. Alex already felt quite warm in the water but with the addition of the medicine that practically shot through the water to get at him the surface of his skin felt like it was beginning to produce its own heat separate from his body.
The rest of his time in the bath went sort of as he had expected for how he was being treated getting to play with bath toys like a rubber squirtel or a battle ship having to put his head back and let Nina with gloves covering her hands and arms to wash his hair, it was an hour of pure and utter relaxation for Alex that pushed his mind more towards feeling like the little kid he was being treated as.
When he was dried off and a blue diaper with cartoony baby raltz's on it was applied to his butt Alex refused to be dressed in anything else saying his skin was still radiating heat, Nina nodded though Alex grumbled when she said he still looked adorable in just a diaper.
Finally came his bed time bottle with an Indeedee coming to deliver it Nina dismissed him politely as she sat in the rocking chair cradling Alex, using psychic to get the dimmer switch she rocked back and fourth in the chair offering the bottle to Alex who opened his mouth accepting it.
It was moments like this that attracted Nina to the idea of taking care of Alex though she considered asking him if he didn't mind if Nina and Jessy dosed themselves with something to make them lactate so that he would get his mothers milks rather than milk from 3 wet nurses.
But she knew that question would have to wait for another day though she hoped to ask tomorrow, for the moment she would have to be satisfied with feeding him a bottle which took about 30 minutes. Nina of course didn't mind since that meant more time holding onto him but to her amusement Alex actually drifted off to sleep before he finished his bottle leaving a good mouthful of milk left.
Deciding not to wake him up about it she laid him down in the crib and pulled the blanket over him letting out a soft aaw when he hugged onto the umbreon plush she got him. Though when she left the room she felt genuinely awful about the trick the family had played on him during dinner but she told herself it was for his own good.
Later Alex kicked off his sheets grabbing his gut with a groan "why the hell did I eat so much?" he thought to himself before using the bars of the crib to sit up, "Hello? Daddy? Doc mama? Tree mama? Grandpa? I think I need the toilet now" Alex said into the darkness waiting a few seconds but getting no response.
"I know you guys can hear me I see the baby monitor" Alex said now more annoyed as his gut made itself more known staring at the monitor shaped like a lucky meowth you'd see in most take-away restaurants, he hauled himself up balancing on his knee whilst grasping onto the railing for stability.
"GUYS!" Alex said raising his voice desperation beginning to creep into his voice for the first time in a while, his gut cramped again and Alex had to brace himself holding it back. "PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ARCEUS GET IN HERE! I NEED THE BATHROOM!" Alex straight up shouted this time as his heart began to race with anxiety and fear not creeping but straight up bulldozing into his head.
He of course lost the fight with his body letting out what was held back into the diaper making it hot and for him extremely unpleasant, the only thing that parted from his lips as this happened was a scream which quickly devolved into a stream if tears as Nina, Jessy, Scorch and Fritz charged in fists raised when they heard the scream.
Quickly Fritz almost doubled over putting up a hand and saying "not it" before walking away, Scorch got closer but Jessy and Nina got over to Alex's crib faster than the eye could blink. Looking up Alex held up his arms and found himself quickly being bundled up into Jessy's embrace getting a sympathetic look from the Lopunny, "I know I know sweetie it does not feel good but the worst of it is over" she said as she rushed him over to the changing table with Nina grabbing the changing supplies and getting to work.
"I am to get out of here whilst I still have a nose" Scorch said as he was dragged over with psychic, "you're going to learn how to do this honey bunny" Nina said as she got to work as Jessy continued to coo and sooth Alex. In reality or for Alex it didn't take long but he was in no state to do anything but cry, "no blood at least that's good" Nina said dropping the used diaper in the bin as Jessy finished taping up a new one around his waist.
Alex extended his arms towards Jessy as she washed her hands with a sanitary wipe, "I think il take care of this bit" Scorch said getting Alex's attention smiling as his boys arms quickly switched over to him when he picked him up getting a hug from the boy nuzzling into his fur.
"T-That was a dirty trick" Alex panted into Scorch "I know that's why I was straight forward with you Alex but it's over now you don't need to go to the hospital" Scorch said rubbing Alex's lower back. "Can I sleep in your bed tonight daddy?" Alex asked burying his face in Scorch's chest to hide his expression, Scorch himself was surprised as the question sure Alex prior to all this at least had one of them out of their pokeballs to sleep next to him but never had he ever verbally requested it.
"Sure I think you need that after all" Scorch said as the 4 left the nursery to go to the master bedroom.
