Chapter 18: Breakfast and Indeedees
Alex was stirred awake by sunlight hitting his face and groaning he sat up letting himself pee in his diaper the damns he once gave about wearing let alone using them having flown off days ago, his thoughts or what few thoughts he was having mostly lined up with his stomach at the moment. "GUYS!" Alex half called out half whined "MAMA!" he said loudly after not getting a response then intensely stared at the baby monitor its little lucky paw mockingly waving at him, "come on I am hungry I don't care what it's for breakfast I am starving" Alex whined kneeling up on his stumps using the crib railing for support.
Nina walked in wearing a dressing gown and with bags under her eyes she said "morning baby boy, don't you look just adorable this morning" before picking up Alex, "woah you didn't get ANY sleep did you?" Alex asked getting a yawn from Nina "I got about 3 hours tops but other than that none after your daddy helped out" she answered.
"I mean… one of the indeedee can bring me breakfast if you're that exhauste-" Alex said finding a finger placed on his lips "no, no I am your mother I want to besides," she said sitting in the rocking chair and moving the dressing gown to one side to reveal her chest "the medicine worked" she added getting a blush as well as a shocked look from Alex.
Alex had expected a bottle but did not expect this but he found himself having her right tit pressed against his mouth and closing his eyes trying to pretend it's a bottle kneaded at it with his tongue getting a warm spray of milk, he found himself involuntarily curling into the warmth of Nina's body as the milks warm silk like texture travelled down his throat with a flavour not too dissimilar to that of a miltank.
"I have tested the composition of it perfectly safe and containing all the nutrients my little human needs," Nina said patting the butt of Alex's diaper tiredly before looking down at it "ah you need a change but you can wait after your breakfast" Nina added on not helping the blush Alex had, though from Alex's perspective he was quickly starting to find this relaxing like he was growing more of a bond to Nina as he drank.
Nina rubbed a hand up and down Alex's back letting the boy relax further but found herself quickly falling asleep on Alex, not liking the sudden pressure of the tit on his head Alex nibbled down on the nipple with his teeth getting a startled yelp from her. "Everything ok?" Scorch said sticking his head in and seeing the blush on Nina's face, "I forgot he had teeth" she said simply switching Alex to her other tit getting a whine from him but he quickly latched on taking his fill from both.
"You were hungry yikes" Nina said said rubbing her now sore right breast and after a few minutes of suckling Alex turned his head away from her chest, "full?" she asked getting a nod from him before Nina rocked back and fourth on the chair letting his stomach settle.
"Mistress Nina" came the calm chirp of a female indeedee getting the pairs attention as the indeedee trotted in, "Bishop a pleasure I was just about to get my baby boy in a new diaper think you can-" Nina said before yawning "with all due respects mistress can we take care of Alex today? You need rest and master Fritz is asleep" Bishop said calmly.
Alex had watched the indeedee around the property even asked them to fetch him things but now felt like a complete asshole for not knowing their names, "hmm you sure?" Nina said letting Alex be levitated by the indeedee onto the changing table "mistress it's my pleasure" Bishop said using her abilities to have Alex changed and in a new diaper in record time.
Alex was surprised by the speed but considering that indeedee tend to please those they called master he wasn't really surprised at the idea of them offering to dare he call it 'babysit.' "well… I could use the rest" Nina said before nodding "excellent mistress" Bishop said levitating Alex down like he was in an invisible hammock to be eye level.
"We are going to have so much fun together master Alex" Bishop said with an indeedee's practised unhateable smile, Nina stood up stretching "have fun baby boy," she said planting a kiss on Alex's head "please behave for them sweetie" she added on giving a tired smile. "I'll try?" Alex said confused as Nina left leaving the two alone, "now that you have had your morning milkies," Bishop said half teasing half playful "think you got room for a solid breakfast? We don't really have much so you gotta accompany us to do some food shopping" Bishop said booping Alex on the nose sending a shiver through his head that caused a giggle.
"Um… I don't have room for anything other than toast" Alex said blushing not wanting to admit he was almost stuffed by Nina's milk, "then we shall prepare some on the way" Bishop said getting Alex dressed up in his legs as well as a pair of cargo shorts and a blue T-shirt with an onyx on it.
"This is humiliating" Alex thought as he was telekinetically carried to the caravan whilst eating his snack of buttered toast, "John! Jackie! we are ready to go stop buggering around" Bishop said her tone becoming more commanding towards the male and female indeedee that stood by the caravan each holding fists full of carrier bags.
"Ah finally I thought you were going to stay behind and play with the baby" John said giving a small laugh whilst Alex glared daggers at him, "master Alex is coming with us so best change that tone" Bishop said getting a look from john "just because you hatched 5 minutes before me does not mean you're in charge" John said annoyed getting a hand on his shoulder by Jackie. "Mum said she's in charge john best not fight it" Jackie said shaking her head as they all got into the caravan with Alex finding himself being strapped into not his pram as per usual, instead what greeted him on the sofa in the caravan was an oversized baby's car seat obviously designed for adult sized humans.
"Come on sweetie you liked your pram just think of it like a pram without wheels," Bishop said as Alex resisted the human despite his weakened state still put enough force downward to make using psychic hard to hold him, "need help?" Jackie offered and with a nod from Bishop all 3 focused their abilities on holding Alex down long enough to get him strapped in. "There we go all safe and comfy" Jackie said smiling at Alex, "little guys got fight in him, glad you brought him now it won't be as boring" John said with Alex looking unimpressed at the indeedee "I am not entertainment" Alex said bluntly crossing his arms.
"Quit teasing the baby" Jackie said unimpressed "and I am not a baby" Alex said annoyed at the indeedee, as the caravan took off leaving the property behind Alex got a mischevious look from John "lets see diaper," the indeedee said patting Alex's crotch "childish clothes and whining about not being a baby? Yup that's a baby" John said with a nod getting unimpressed looks from his sisters.
"Just stop it john" Bishop ordered putting her hands on her hips and the smile from Johns lips fell which made Alex want to let out a laugh at the display until Bishop turned to him, "thousand pardons master Alex as you can see my brother can be a bit of a pain" Bishop said side eyeing John "maybe he should be the one dressed in a diaper since he seems to act like a baby" Alex said sarcastically. "Trust me the idea has crossed my mind more than once" Bishop said sitting on the sofa next to Alex and the group spent the rest of that trip in silence.
When they got there Alex found himself being lifted telekinetically again but this time his arms and legs hung limp under him like he was a litten being held by the scruff, "JACKIE NO!" Bishop said in a panic "cradle position he is a human not a litten his spine won't like it" She said and as quickly as he was lifted Alex found himself being flipped onto his back like he was being held by an invisible giant.
"I think I might be sick" Alex said holding his stomach after it violently lurched from being suddenly cradled by unseen forces, "sorry" Jackie said sheepishly with Alex swearing to himself he could hear a slight baa from the expression on the indeedee's face as they exited. "Where even are we?" Alex said having lost track of time being bored on the way over, "Glimmersedge Save'N'Sound glad this village is at least large enough to have somewhere like this," Bishop said sighing "I know it's your parents money but Alpha pokemon eat a lot" she finished up her sentence looking up at Alex who gave her an understanding nod.
"Now I am guessing you want the big boy seat?" Bishop said pulling out a shopping cart that had a larger version of the usual child seat, "I would ask to walk but I don't have my walking stick plus I doubt you're going to let me" Alex said getting a nod from Bishop before Alex found himself being slid into the carts seat. He looked at the other carts with one having a larger version of the seat usually used for newborns and counted himself lucky they didn't b-line straight to it.
The shop itself was a pre-revolution chain from what Alex could remember usually taking some sort of warehouse if one is available or other large building to sell industrial amounts of food, Alex recalled having a membership just a year before the revolution and wondered if it was still valid since he paid for a 5 year subscription.
The building inside was huge with a few pre-fabricated stands as well as the tills by the exit area with 3 larger Pokemon as well as a single human dressed in a store uniform, one of them a Lucario blocked their path "membership card please" the Lucario said in a bored tone getting the uniformed human a man in his late 30s with what to Alex was a very unnatural smile to walk over.
"Brian remember service with a smile" the human said getting a sigh from the pokemon before the Lucario broke out in a much cheerier and rehearsed tone, "welcome to Save'N'Sound membership card please" he said giving a smile that looked painful to hold. "Sure Bishop if you please" Alex said gesturing to the lucario "and please stop smiling like that" Alex added in his head as the indeedee giggled, "now now master Alex let the grown ups do the talking" Bishop said getting an insulted glare from Alex as the lucario checked the card before waving them through.
"Just because you're our masters baby does not mean you can boss us about" John said a level of warning in his voice as the indeedee pushed the cart, "but you will be rewarded for good behaviour" Jackie said in a comparatively friendlier voice. "First off we need the basics flour, eggs, meats, milk, bread" Bishop said reading off a list she pulled out of the diaper bag that sat directly below Alex.
Alex was bored out of his skull as they got the basics but his attention was caught by a 16 pack of 2 litre bottles of Lavender Cola which following their caregiver instincts the indeedee followed his gaze, "before you ask no" John said folding his arms "aaw don't crush the poor dears dreams like the big meanie you are" Jackie said teasingly towards john.
"He is probably gonna drink it in a day" John said getting a shocked look on Alex's face "I would not I have at least some self control" Alex said as Bishop pinched the bridge of her nose, "ENOUGH! BOTH OF YOU!" Bishop said raising her voice slightly before levitating the pack of cola into the cart "master Alex so far has behaved besides I think we can count on his parents to regulate his drink intake" Bishop added on. Alex fully knew Bishop had a point with his mind filling with the idea of Nina putting the cola into a sippy cup for him, surprisingly the idea was not torturous in fact Alex started to look forward to the idea which upon realizing what he was thinking began to silently panic.
"Earth to Alex" John said getting Alex's attention "huh what?" Alex said getting a sigh from John, "we are heading off to the human care section to pick up stuff you need we need to know what size you are" John said getting a blush from Alex. "Medium I think?" Alex said with Bishop and Jackie sighing "you have no idea" Jackie said bluntly all the wind taken from her sails, "well I don't exactly make those sorts of purchases now do I?" Alex said sarcastically as the cart turned the corner.
"I know that voice" came the wispy but curious voice of an old man one that Alex had not heard for almost half a decade, "professor Liston?" Alex asked surprise in his voice trying to whip around his head to see him with the old man walking around to Alex's front flanked by not only his wife but by his trusted kadabra. "What on earth are you dressed up in? You look ridiculous" Liston said eyeing Alex up and down "not as ridiculous as the school uniform" Alex said in response then the two men laughed after staring at each other for a few seconds, "some things never change how's Nina doing?" Liston asked getting a smile from Alex who for once was glad to have a normal conversation with another human being.
"We will just go grab the scorbunny ones I spotted you in last week" Bishop said trotting off grabbing a tripple set of red scorbunny diapers that were bailed together in shrink wrap, Alex pulled in a lung full of air giving his old professor an expression showing he was internally screaming. "Well," Alex said holding his facial expression trying not to let any form of rage for the indeedee span his face "she is doing good and I am being watched by these 3."
"Indeedee are wonderful creatures Alex despite their quirks" Liston said petting John on the head getting a momentary look of relief on the indeedee's face before it went back to its usual scowl, "hopefully Nina is available for my next appointment" Liston said getting a confused look from Alex. "I am afraid I am not her receptionist sir so I am a tad bit out of the loop" Alex said confused with Bishop chiming in "your mother does have patients herself the professor here is just one of them" Bishop said getting a wide eyed look from Alex.
"Well fuck me sideways I thought she just left patients to the doctors under her" Alex said getting a gasp from Jackie and Bishop, "I should rinse your mouth out with soap young man!" Bishop said looking up at Alex with a facial expression that was adorable but the eyes almost read a murderous intent. The situation got a laugh from the kadabra which spread to the professor and his wife diffusing the anger from the indeedee, "I think I'll leave you to your fate before your indeedee have a stroke" Liston said walking away with his family following "I will literally accept you throwing my workbook at me again instead of being left alone with angry indeedee" Alex called out after him as he walked off.
"Throwing your workbook at you?" John said incredulously with Alex sighing "he was my physics/psychic pokemon teacher he would check if students were paying attention when he did the register by throwing their workbook at them, if you were not paying attention your workbook would smack you in the face" Alex said getting a slight laugh from john and a accusatory finger from Bishop being pointed right at him.
"curse again and I will actually rinse your mouth out with soap" Bishop said pointing to a shelf across from the group showing Alex a human edible soap meant to as the advertising on it says 'wash those filthy curses out of their mouths.'
"Why on earth does that exist?" Alex asked with the indeedee not gracing his question with answers as they pushed the cart towards the tills, when they got there Alex had to withstand another tirade of being called a 'cute little human' silently cursing the chansey manning the till with a level of creativity he has not used since secondary school.
When Alex got back to the caravan and strapped into the car seat for the ride home he was more than ready for this day to end, "you look annoyed" Jackie said getting an annoyed glare from Alex "you don't say I got threatened to have my mouth washed out with soap by a creature half my size please tell me why that would put me in a good mood?" Alex snapped venomously.
Bishop was about to say something but Jackie put a finger up to silence her getting a suppressed laugh as well as a muffled comment about "being in trouble when they got home" from John, "Bishop went too far I know," Jackie said hopping up by Alex placing a hand on his shoulder "we know you're not an actual baby and she is going to apologise for it right" Jackie added on looking at Bishop.
"Right," Bishop said looking at Alex "I am just doing what comes naturally to indeedee, the whole thing of adult humans being treated like children being added to the mix is something even we need time to adjust to". "I am not hearing an apology, plus I don't think boundaries were set how am I supposed to know not to curse if you don't tell me?" Alex said getting a stunned look from Bishop.
"He has a point" John said getting a death glare from Bishop who then looked back to Alex "fine.. I am sorry for threatening to wash your mouth out with soap" Bishop said tiredly, "just don't do it again besides mama lets me curse" Alex said folding his arms before he could even realize how the statement he just said sounded. "I...i should really ask about that sort of stuff in future" Bishop said getting a laugh from John, "I guess sproinks not only learned to fly but also build a colony on mars my 'oh so proper' sister was not prepared for something" John said laughing.
The caravan set off to the sound of Bishop slapping John over the head for another day over.
