"Shoot him down."Grimlock ordered and Sludge lined up the ship in the targeting system and then he pressed a button on a joystick and the ships guns began firing at Shockwave's ship a couple of shots hit it but it wasn't enough to severely cripple it, the ship rocked knocking Shockwave and Flatline around a little bit "Ugh they're going to knock us out of the freaking sky,tell this bucket has offensive capabilities!"Flatline exclaimed in sheer panic at being blown out of the sky. Shockwave proceeded to press a couple of buttons and a pair of guns came out of the top of the ship "indeed it does Flatline,try it out."Shockwave instructed and Flatline took a seat next to Shockwave and in front of him was a joystick and a screen showing the Dinobot's ship with crosshairs in front of them.
Flatline proceeded to press the button and the guns proceeded to fire on the Dinobot's ship "whoa!"Slug exclaimed as he caused the ship to dodge the gun fire "his ship has teeth!"Swoop exclaimed in surprise "so do ours,return fire!"Grimlock ordered and the Dinobot's ship fired a barrage of laser fire,both ships raced across the sky firing at each other meanwhile Serket was right behind them. Not wanting to feel left out of the fight Serket decided to join in with a deep inhale Sekket breathed a stream of fire at the ship which directly hit it,feeling the impact the Dinobots braced themselves as the ship rocked "What the frak was that?!"Slam exclaimed looking around the ship "Ugh that was Serket."Snarl said looking at a screen with annoyance to see Serket on their tails "Does th"this ship doesn't have rear blasters."Sludge said and then Swoop stood up with confidence "I'll take care of her." everyone looked at him unsure expressions given the fact that she swatted him out of the air earlier.
"Are you sure Swoop?"Slash asked concerned for Swoops health "Yeah besides I'm the best flyer on the team,It's time I show her why."Swoop said with a little smug as he proceeded to walk to the hatch in the middle of the floor it was then his smugness went away as he started to remember his air battle with Emberblaze.
Flashback
"Catch me if you can you big dumb reptile!"Swoop shouted as he turned around and flew off the Predacon let out a snarl and flew off after him.
Darting down the street as fast as his wings could carry him Swoop lead the chase between him and the Predacon however as fast as Swoop was the Predacon was faster as it was getting closer and closer to Swoop. When the Predacon got close enough it opened it's mouth preparing to bite him fortunately Swoop saw this coming at quickly barrel rolled to the right just in time as the Predacon snapped it's jaws shut.
took a deep breath and breathed fire towards Swoop causing him immediately to dodge The Predacon tried again and again with the same result. Desperate Swoop began to think of a way to put the breaks on the Predacon it was then he spotted something up ahead a still intact skywalk between two buildings then an idea popped into his head as he flew towards the skywalk as fast as he could with the Predacon still on his tail.
Swoop narrowed his eyes as he saw the skywalk coming up fast "Bite this."He said as when he was close enough he quickly dived under the skywalk however the Predacon who didn't react fast enough and smashed through the skywalk obliterating it. The Predacon tumbled through the air and crashed into a slightly damaged building, acting quickly Swoop circled around and flew towards the building and fired missles at it causing huge explosions and the building to come crumbling down to the ground.
Swoop stared at his work with complete proudness "Ha ha,I got you,take that you big dumb..."Swoop immediately stopped midsentice as he saw some rubble move then the Predacon emerged from the wreakage with barely a scratch or dent on it's body. It shook it's head before looking up at Swoop with the scariest scowl he's ever witnessed "Oh Scrap."Swoop said completely terrified the Predacon let out a vicious growl then a mighty roar making Swoop flinch.
Then it leaped into the air and with a flap of it's wings and darted towards Swoop with the intent to tear him apart. Swoop immediately turned around and flew off with the Predacon chasing him again "Scrap scrap scrap scrap!"Swoop cried repeatedly as he flew as fast as his wings could carry him.
Growling the Predacon took a deep breath and breathed a fireball which whizzed past Swoop and hit a nearby building exploding on impact "Whoa scrap!"Swoop exclaimed as the Predacon shot fireballs over and over making Swoop dodge for his life.
Swoop turned a corner and was nearing the location the other Dinobots were at,determined to bring down Swoop The Predacon prepared one more fireball and shot it near Swoop and it hit a building unfortunately some debris hit Swoop in the head making him tumble out of control and slam into a building and fall onto the ground unconscious.
Flashback Ended
Swoop almost lost his life because he underestimated Emberblaze's abilities Serket may be a novice in the predacon game but sometimes novices learn extremely quickly,Serket has already demonstrated to be able to fight in her dragon mode easily maybe she'll be excellent in aerial combat but there's only one way to find out. Swoop watched as the hatch slid open and the sound of the wind roaring reached his audio sensors and the sight of the ground rushing past his optics,then he jumped out of the the hole and transformed into Pterannodon mode in midair and flew towards Serket who growled at him.
"Alright Serket you have my attention,now let's talk!"Swoop shouted as he dashed towards Serket who in turn came at him and they proceeded to do a dance in the sky Serket breathed fire at swoop who dodged and he fired missiles at her causing her to dodge then Serket tried to swipe at Swoop with her claws but he successfully evaded being diced,then Swoop began to fly in the direction the ships were going all the while dodging Serket's fire.
Meanwhile the two ships continued to fire at each other while zipping around through the air,barely a single one of them managed to hit each other which was frustrating everyone including Grimlock "Damn it why can't we hit them,are you aimming?!"Grimlock exclaimed glareing at Sludge who glanced back at Grimlock frowning a little "yes I am aimming."
"Obviously not he's still in the sky!"Grimlock shouted gesturing at the windshield "I'm doing the best I can why don't you try shooting at them,instead of barking at me?!"Sludge said raising his voice at Grimlock which shocked the veteran Dinobots as Sludge never raised his voice in anger at Grimlock before,mostly because Grimlock never gave him a reason too.
It was absolutely quiet in the Dinobot's ship as Grimlock and Sludge glared at each other for what felt like an eternity Grimlock's eyes glowed red for a brief moment and he was about to say something until Paddles spoke first "Uh I hate to break up this intense staring contest,but Shockwave is getting away!"Paddles said pointing at Shockwave's ship that was getting further away "Oh no you don't."Slug said as he kicked it into high gear as he began to tail Shockwave's ship. "They're gaining on us!"Flatline exclaimed glancing at Shockwave who just stared at the windshield in front of him gazing into the infinite horizon "Why are you just sitting there do something!"Flatline shouted in panic as he began to fire at the ship Shockwave was thinking about his options he's having a little difficulty out running them if he keeps flying sooner or later they're going to run out of fuel and they will have to land somewhere.
Then Shockwave remembered what Flatline told him earlier that the Dinobots are going to hunt him down until they see him dead,say he did managed to evade them today but eventually they will find him again and again and again and again until there's no place left on Cybertron for him to hide that was when his mind remembered something else Flatline said Flatline suggested that Shockwave leave Cybertron for his own safety but the question is where in the entire universe would he go that's safe from the jaws of the Dinobots?
The Shockwave remembered the target planet he discovered and sent the ark and the nemesis to,Shockwave figured that the Decepticons could help him defeat the Dinobots of course Shockwave noted that he would have the autobots to worry about as well but that is an issue for later. Shockwave felt the ship violently shake as a blast hit the ship, "They got us again please tell me you have a escape plan?!Flatline asked as Shockwave glanced at him "I do,but you're not going to like it."Shockwave said as he caused the ship to go up much to the confusion of Flatline and the Dinobots who were following him "Where does he think he's going?"Snarl asked in bewilderment "he's trying to escape Cybertron,stop him!"Grimlock exclaimed slightly alarming everyone as Grimlock was becoming a bit unhinged.
"Grimlock this ship isn't exactly built for space travel and we are starting to run out of fuel."Slug said "that's why I said stop him blow him out of the sky before he breaks through the,atmo...atmo..atomsphere!" Grimlock said having trouble forming the word Sludge narrowed his eyes as he lined up the shot it was then Swoops voice came through everyone's coms "hey guys why are we going up?"
"What in the allspark are you doing,have you blown a gasket?!"Flatline exclaimed in fear as Shockwave glanced at him "I'm just doing your earlier suggesting I'm leaving Cybertron for my own safety."Shockwave said "what about your experiments?"Flatline asked "I could always start fresh on another planet."Shockwave the proceeded to press a couple of buttons and then another gun came out from the top of the ship and then a beam of energy fired and what looked to be a portal appeared in front of them stunning Flatline "I was so inspired by the tower I decided to build a portal gun on this ship just in case Megatron asked me to come to him,now hold on."Shockwave said as he punched the engines and dashed to the portal.
Serket was still chasing Swoop upwards until she saw the portal and Shockwave's ship dashing towards the portal Serket knew what was happening Shockwave was making a last ditch attempt at an escape but not without her he wasn't,Serket dashed past swoop and the Dinobot's ship and she was was able to reach and pounced on Shockwave's ship in record time and she began clawing at the top of the ship Shockwave pressed a button and a hatch opened near Serket and she crawled into the ship and the transformed back into robot mode as she walked through the hallways of the ship until she got to the bridge of the ship where Shockwave and Flatline were waiting for her. "Going somewhere Shockwave?"Serket asked with a hint of anger in her voice " Yes I'm leaving Cybertron,although I didn't plan on taking company with me."Shockwave stated glancing at Flatline "Yeah i got that impression when you left me back there to get blown up."Serket growled as she took a seat near Shockwave as he drove the ship closer and closer to the portal until he went through it.
Swoop managed to fly back through the hatch and transformed as the Dinobots watched Shockwave's ship go into the portal "Follow him."Grimlock ordered but the Dinobots were a little apprehensive "We don't know where that portal leads Grimlock."Slug argued "yes we do,it leads to Shockwave,Follow him that is an order."Grimlock growled as his eyes glowed red making Slugstare at him for a few seconds before turning around and them he punched the engines and causing the ship to dash through the portal just as it closed leaving both ships at a destination unknown.
