As soon as it was clear that the thugs were defeated, Danny and the Turtles cheered and began to celebrate their first ever fight and victory. They suddenly heard the main door begin to open and quickly hid in the shadows of the garage. It was the same three teenagers from before.
"We're unarmed non-combatants here for our scooters." The teen with the red hair spoke up.
All three of them then just looked and stood in shock and what they saw. They saw all the thugs unconscious and their scooters were standing in the middle of it all.
"These guys got their butts whooped." The boy commented.
"Come to think of it, where did those guys go?" The girl in black wondered.
The answer came when they heard a noise and turned to see Danny and the Turtles, hiding amongst the tools, tyres and other car parts. The goth girl said, "We can see you guys you know."
Knowing their cover was blown, they carefully started to come out of hiding as the girl with red hair said, "We won't make a big deal about the ninja stars. You got our scooters back, so it looks like we're square."
"Danny, you go out first. You're the most human." Leo whispered to Danny.
"Okay guys, the longer you lurk there, the more sus this is." The goth girl said.
The boys continued to whisper amongst themselves, until Donnie finally shoved Leo out, making all three human teens gasp in shock at their appearence. Except for Danny who was in his human form at the moment, which as soon as the goth girl saw him, immediately began to blush.
"Wow! The boy with the blue eyes looks kinda cool...and cute." She thought.
They waited for the screaming to start, but the boy said, "So your friends are wearing turtle costumes?"
"Wow! I mean these look totally real." The girl with red hair said and began touching Leo and then yanking on his cheeks.
She suddenly realised it wasn't a costume and began to shout in shock, "That's not fake! It's real skin!"
This prompted the other boy and girl to touch Leo and they both stood back in shock. The goth girl asked, "What are you? Who are you?"
"Well first off, these are my brothers who are turltes and since we're making revelations here..." Danny began to say.
He then changed into his ghost form, which took all three teens by surprise and then he changed back into his human form. Again the goth girl asked, "What are you?"
"Can we explain this over some pizza?" Mikey offered.
They thought about it and then the girl with red hair suggested, "How do you guys feel about pepperoni and vegetarian?"
After ordering pizza and heading for an empty rooftop, they all introuduced themselves to each other. The three human teens were April O'Neil, Tucker Foley and Sam Manson. After the introductions, Danny and the Turtles told them their story leading up to the present. Tucker was recording everything with his camera on his high tech PDA, while Sam and April were writing notes down on notepads.
"Okay, so let me get this straight. The four of you were normal baby turtles who got hit with this ooze and then started to age from mutant baby turtles, into mutant-turtle-men guys?" April asked.
"And you Danny have had these powers since you were baby, and you were adopted and call these guys your brothers?" Sam added.
"Turtle boys actually." Mikey corrected.
"I would say teens. I would say cool teens." Leo corrected.
"And pretty much sums it up." Danny added.
"This is incredible! Is there more? Tell us everything about you guys. Are there more of you?" Tucker then asked.
"Nope. Just us." Donnie answered.
"So, why are you guys writing all this down and recording this?" Leo asked.
"Well, I'm a journalist. Well, I want to be a journalist. I write for my school paper." April answered.
"I want to be a detective mostly, but I like to help April with the school paper." Sam said, which made Danny look at her getting an idea for a moment.
"As for me, I'm mostly the tech guy and help these guys out with their stories." Tucker added.
"Really? Wow, well April you actually look like you should be on camera, cause you got that camera-ready look." Leo complimented.
"Nope. Never on camera." April said with a bit of uneaseness.
"So what are you guys doing out late? Isn't there like a curfew or something for the human teens?" Raph asked.
"Not yet and we're actually doing research with April and investigating this whole crime spree by Superfly." Tucker answered. "The police have talked about implementing the curfew, which in turn spooked the parents and cancelled prom."
"We're trying to bring him to justice, so everyone can ya know? Chill out." April finished.
"But this! Meeting a ninja half-ghost and his ninja butt kicking mutant turtles, is a pretty good story." Sam said.
"Look, I don't think we should." Raph said, showing a bit of discomfort towards the idea of this story going public.
"Why not?" April asked.
"We were taught that humans would try and destroy us, if they found us we ever existed." Donnie answered. "You know, kill us or put us in a lab and dissect or milk us."
"None of us would dissect or milk you. How would we even milk you? You don't even have nipples." April pointed out.
Mikey then decided to ask, "Look human teens, I've got a question and please be straight with me. Do you think there are more people like you guys? You know, people who will accept us?"
April, Sam and Tucker all smiled at first, but then stopped and answered honestly, "No / geniunely not / I wish that was true, but sorry. No."
All of them groaned in dissapointment and then began to leave, but April stopped them and said, "Look, if we're being honest, the reason we're not scared of you is because you guys helped us out. If you hadn't and we just stumbled across you, then we'd be pretty scared."
All of their phones vibrated and Sam said, "It's our parents."
"Same here. Our dad is freaking out a bit." Donnie said.
"Well, at least all parents are the same." Tucker said.
"Yeah / absolutely / our dad is definitely not a giant rat." Leo, Mikey and Donnie all said.
"That makes me feel like he's a rat." Sam said.
"Well, I'll Airdrop you our contacts and if you ever feel like you want to come out to the world or whatever, just let us know. We would love to write a story about it, seriously." April said as the three of them left.
Leo looked love struck and said, "April seemed cool."
"Here he goes again / every girl man / Awe! Someone's got a little crush / How cute." His brothers began to tease.
