After losing Flame Princess and some respect from others, Finn, with the help of Jake, went on vacation to clear his head but what he will face will be epic. No co-op by TME and I, harem as usual. No Flames. Constructive criticism is welcome.

8. Chapter 8

A scene opens with Atomsk and TME talking about ideas for the chap.

"Good grief… I felt like I gave us a headache when I showed you these ideas." Atomsk said.

"Sorry?... just a little surprised by them as all… given the context it may seem like we may have to end Finn's training in the badlands early and settle things with Azure and Cedric more or less before either returning to the badlands and continue Finn's training or do something else more or less… I don't mind side quests but depending on things, we may have to store parts of the ideas you suggested for future arcs or something… sure we can have Surge punish Azure, but knowing Bordux, would try and prevent that since once his business is done with Surge, its off to get Azure's issues over and done with so unless we have Surge travel with Bordux and stuff, would be hard for her to… well… you know… not giving spoilers since the readers are here, was just trying to think of how to fit them in properly…" TME said while he rubs his chin for a moment.

"Yeah I get what you mean. I mean Surge isn't gonna hurt Azure so… she may as well go with the two or some unless Surge makes a new deal with Bordux." Atomsk said.

"Not unless he alters that curse on himself and Azure, would have to remember that he put that on himself and Azure so Bordux would give his all in his investigation later and Azure wouldn't do anything to risk things… mainly if Surge wanted to go with them and punish Azure long term… she would have to swallow her pride and follow Bordux's lead and more… who knows she could ease up and stuff the long the investigation goes but thats AFTER we have one hell of a meetup with Emerald's group and Surge's group later… Bordux's curse would kick in if we deviate from finishing this mission he and Aggro has so he would do anything to make sure that they finish their contract with her first before doing anything else…" TME said while he had a hand in his pocket now.

"Okay maybe after the meet Surge does something with Azure. Anyway, let's get things started." Atomsk said.

"Alright… just one thing first, sorry if not every idea you gave gets put in… not in one go at least since we have to be careful to make the plot flow and stuff… we maybe random but we do have methods to our madness… thats what makes stories like this fun." TME said while he gave Atomsk an apologetic look.

"Right. Sorry on my end as I wanted to add more fun to the mix." Atomsk said.

"No problem… if we can fit things in we can, just need to remember plot points so we don't break things… the plot that flows flows far instead of having to break through dams which can stop it… now… onto Finn's torture session!" TME said while he grins evilly at the end as the scene shifts too…

Badlands/ underground ruins/ large room/ Emerald, Frost, Rose, Nicole, Brass, BMO

"GAAAAHHH!" Finn screams as he was thrown through the air by Emerald and Finn crashed hard into a wall as Emerald sighs.

"Finn… what have we learned when trying to go for Dark Eco type attacks as telegraphed at that?" Emerald said since Finn was trying to get a hang of Dark Eco with Emerald and Nicole watching and while Finn did get a good grasp on using his anger… he used it way too soon which made his attacks easy to read.

"N-Not to… attack too soon?" Finn said.

"There is there… but also save the big moves never… you know those tropes with heroes and villains using big attacks and stuff right when they are about to die?" Emerald said as he held a hand up and Finn gulps as Emerald smirks evilly as a large orb of darkness formed over him when he condensed Dark Eco above him.

"Well… lets just say that while I can't kill you… may as well give examples of high tier Dark Eco attacks… don't worry… Nicole and Rose can heal you with light Eco after all…" Emerald said right before he threw the orb at a screaming Finn as the camera turns to show BMO looking excited as Finn ran around while dodging many of Emerald's attacks like his life depends on it while Nicole rubs her head and sweatdrops at how spartan Emerald's training is… she didn't look too worried since Emerald was using attacks that wouldn't kill Finn but… would definitely hurt Finn even with his high pain tolerance…

"You can do it Finn!… You're being awesome Emerald!" BMO cheered for both.

As Finn screams more when he was knocked in the air by a shockwave by one of Emerald's attacks… Brass on his end looks at Korra and Frost as they watch this happen.

"Huh… didn't expect Emerald to use that many Dark Eco attacks and not show much negative effects… wonder how strong his mental tolerance is to the stuff?" Brass said while he rubs his chin.

"I have no idea… I'm just wondering how long Finn will last." Korra said.

Frost sweatdrops when Finn was cornered and Emerald moved to slug him in the gut after making Finn think he was going to use another large type attack and Finn fell to his knees as Emerald held his hands behind his back and smiles at Finn.

"So Finn… what is rule number one of the badlands when in real fights?" Emerald said as Finn barely speaks.

"N-Never… let your…. Guard down… expect… tricks and… cheap shots…" Finn said as Emerald nods his head.

"Good…" Emerald said kicking Finn where the sun doesn't shine which blasted Finn back into the air and he lands on the ground in a knocked out state and Emerald sighs when he saw Finn twitching on the ground.

"Man… Ooo really made him a soft hero…" Emerald said while he rubs his head.

"Right…" Brass said as he doesn't know what to say as Rose comes in and heals Finn.

As Finn twitched and groans as Rose was healing him and Emerald moved to get a drink that BMO passed him and he sat near Nicole.

"So Nicole… considering that Finn and I will need to powr up… more so if Surge causes trouble… more so with Bordux and Aggro involved… you said there was this thing on a floor below that dealt with life energy called… Aura yes?... less involved with Eco and more on the energy you had in your body naturally?" Emerald said while he felt BMO sat next to him as she listened to this since this Aura thing was new.

"That is correct. The power of Aura is different than Eco." Nicole said.

"I see… should be helpful… something tells me though that since not many seem to use Aura… its… a hard to get kind of power down here huh?" Emerald said while he figured unless many were just hiding it, would be a VERY hard to get power down here for anyone.

"Wouldn't say hard but… tricky if you have the right mindset and patience." Nicole said.

"I see… well once Finn wakes and after I get him a few more lessons, I'll let you take over for some light Eco training… need to give him an elemental type Eco to use when not using Light or Dark Eco since its hard to come by and even generate the stuff naturally so may as well try and give him something… think wind, fire, water, earth, or electric Eco suit Finn best?" Emerald asked since while Eco could be colored, it could also be labeled by what it can do as well.

Nicole was thoughtful.

"Depends. Just need to see what element he is suited best."

"Well not fire that's for sure… thanks to issues he had with a fiery Girlfriend the Flame Queen before… unless teaching an Eco skill gives some kind of immunity, Finn may have trouble with realizing he may not be fireproof if the Eco just makes him summon fire, not become one with it." BMO said as Emerald and Nicole blink.

"Err… mind if we get the full story on that one?... I heard that Finn caused his ex to fight the Ice King in Ooo but why would he think getting fire Eco would give him fire immunity… did someone tell him something about Eco I don't know about?… a resistance maybe but there is a difference between Eco the energy that causes fire… and fire itself… its like a Flint hitting a rock to make a spark that causes fire… just because I have the flint doesn't mean I can just jump in fire and not be burned by it… to give a better example… just because I can use and generate Dark Eco and stuff doesn't mean I can dive into a pool of it… would be toxic for anyone… at best I may just not get killed and just flat out mutated." Emerald said while he wondered why BMO thought that getting an Eco using ability would grant an immunity to said element.

"Well when Finn dated the Flame Queen, they had trouble touching. One time they kiss and almost blew up the world. Although Finn did jump into a Volcano with Jake as a suit." BMO said.

Emerald and Nicole blink and look at one another.

"A… Volcano?... you know what… I'll just ignore that and just say… nearly blew up the world?... maybe its not Finn thats the issue but the women he dates?... first Bubblegum and her questionable ways… Marceline being a tease and stuff… Huntress is OK since she did get his V-Card though something tells me its a slow burn for actual romance and just sex is OK for now… any other ladies in Ooo that don't have some kind of catch if Finn tries to date them?" Emerald asked while he looks at BMO curiously.

BMO was thoughtful.

"Hmmm… there's these lovely water Nymph sisters that like Finn and… hmmm there maybe a few other royals that feel the same but BMO don't remember which."

"Hmmm… well least Finn has options." Emerald said as he shrugs his arms and figured thanks to things, Finn would have better options for ladies if he didn't go for women with catches to them that would potentially kill him by accident.

After a moment, Finn groans as he got up.

"Grob… I may need a suit of armor… on my boy junk."

"You mean your dick?... penis?... wang?... Finn, we're adults… no need to hold back in being blunt." Emerald said while he looks amused as Finn shakingly walks over with Rose's support.

"E-Easy for you to say since no one else had power punched… your dick." Finn said.

"Power kicked actually and I should tell you my own master was much worse… sometimes he had to heal me when my guts were hanging out of my stomach for one example… guy was so draconian he would be appalled I'm holding back in training you… his motto is what doesn't kill you makes you stronger so if you recover from a disembowling… well… you can withstand a lot as long as you heal from it with spells and Eco." Emerald said before he sips his drink as many blink and look at him.

"Wait… that was holding back?" Frost said as Finn's eyes widened at the info.

"Yup… if I wasn't… Finn wouldn't be able to have kids until he was sent to a healer… nuff said Xan Grandblade, if you ever meet him… NEVER ask for training unless you're desperate… granted he may have mellowed out since he is an old man normally but… lets just say that if I really wanted to train Finn… lets just say that this trip would have to be magically censored so no one pukes if I rip Finn's heart out of his chest and shove it back in him to heal him properly…" Emerald said while he gave everyone a serious look to show he was not joking.

Everyone was stunned silent as Finn paled at the actual image of his heart getting ripped out.

"How the hell are you alive if that is legit?" Brass said as Emerald had a far away look like he was having a PTSD flashback moment.

"Unfortunately for me… Xan is one of the best healers in the world… he could replace limbs… do things that borders on Glob territory… and make it simple with how experienced he is… may as well be a Healing Eco sage who knows how the body works to the point that even if your missing limbs and more… as long as your head isn't destroyed… can just fix you right back up…" Emerald said with a haunted look in his eyes showing he was reliving many bad memories it seems when he shakes a bit from trauma.

BMO quickly went to Emerald and hugs him.

"There there. BMO is here."

Emerald worked to calm himself as Nicole sweatdrops and looks at Finn.

"All things considering… I think you should be lucky that Emerald isn't destroying things… pretty sure this maybe the best you can get if Emerald is in nice guy training with simple cheap shots and intense training but can be healed from by normal means." Nicole said while she rubs her head.

"R-Right." Finn said as Rose rubbed his back in a soothing way.

"Considering things, we should get to your light Eco training after we finish our meal while Emerald recovers… just to recap Finn, what's the key things before we start when it comes to using light Eco compared to Dark Eco?" Nicole said when she went to give Finn some food that consisted of cooked meat on a bone with various vegetables and stuff to make it a balanced meal.

"Light Eco… can be helpful whether by healing or good defense." Finn said.

"Yes but HOW do you control the power and form compared to how you control Dark Eco?... Dark Eco uses Anger and dark emotions as a key thing…" Nicole said when she moved to eat her own meal.

Finn was trying to remember.

"Well for Light Eco… it be the opposite of Anger and stuff."

"Indeed… but what exactly?... its one thing to have a calm mind compared to an angered enraged one… its another to be in battle while keeping a calm composed mind… unlike Dark Eco which is wild and ferocious… Light Eco is the opposite… controlled and calm… when using Light Eco you need to have a calm composed mind no matter what… its one thing to use light Eco in simple matters like healing… its a vastly different beast when using it in battle and even normal everyday life in a Light Eco form." Nicole said when she looks calmly at Finn as she takes a light Eco form.

"When it comes to light Eco… you need to have a mind that is honed from meditation… patience… and most importantly… having a kind heart… a evil or twisted being is unable to use light Eco which is why many outside of the Lynx tribe have a hard time grasping it since my people and I have worked for centuries to perfect the craft… for others, Dark Eco would be more their suit… its a fact that anyone can use Eco… but to truely master it… you need to embrace the good and bad Eco and all the forms it can grant… light and Dark Eco have differing forms… but does that mean your limited to just those two?... some rumors say that there are forms that work with other types of Eco… so if this trainin with light Eco doesn't give you a form like mine and your training with Emerald doesn't give you a Dark Eco form… it doesn't mean your lacking… it just means that your probably geared more for a different path then one that you force yourself down… try and remember that Finn as we train since light and Dark Eco may not sit well with you… or who knows… given you being human… a being who never really got trained in the Eco arts… you could have a talent to master Eco that would far surpass Emerald and I in if you put your mind to it." Nicole said while she looks at Finn while still in a calm Light Eco form.

"Y-You really think so?" Finn said.

Nicole returns to normal and nods her head.

"Indeed… however the opposite could prove true… you could have no talent in Eco since you have yet to get a Dark or Light Eco form and other Eco don't seem to take with you… you could have a talent for all Eco types or just being a jack of all trades type… or you could have a different Eco type that we can focus on… but we just started our training Finn… tell me… do you think any of the training we did is wasted?" Nicole asked while she looks calm as she starts eating her meal.

Finn was thoughtful.

"No."

"Good… then once we finish we can start in full… may as well test your healing skills since we all have to start somewhere." Nicole said as she focuses on her meal fully now.

"Right." Finn said before Rose brought Finn some food and actually went to help feed him.

Finn blinks and blushed at this while nearby Frost giggles when she saw this.

"Hehe… looks like Finn will be getting popular if Rose does things with him later." Frost said to Korra and Brass as Korra looks amused.

"And you're not going to sneak into Finn's tent later you horny hypocrite?" Korra said when she looks amused when she could read Frost like an open book.

Frost blush from the tease as the rest of the group finished their meal.

As this happened… the scene went to Ooo as the camera went into Bubblegum's laboratory with Phoebe, Marceline, and a few others like… surprisingly Nightmare princess, Slumber princess, and Lullaby princess as Huntress was there.

Ooo/ Bubblegum's lab/ various people

"Wait… Finn really went to the badlands!?, and you didn't talk him into coming back?" Bubblegum said showing this must be a recent thing with Huntress coming to a summons with Nightmare, Slumber, and Lullaby princess were visiting and seems Phoebe came by as well for her own reasons but she looks surprised when she heard this.

"Wait… Finn really left Ooo?... I thought that was a rumor!" Phoebe said as Huntress shrugged an arm.

"Am I really going to stand here and let people yell around me while stating the obvious?... yes I never stopped Finn from going into the badlands… he had powerful allies, no I didn't talk him into coming back since he did say he would come back after a year but could be sooner… given that the rumors… the Flame Queen heard should tell that many around Ooo aside a small few like myself see Finn as enemy number 1 for obvious reasons… even got his virginity after all before he could leave there so may as well get the virgin card off his bucket list." Huntress said while she looks indifferent as usual while having a calm head.

Marceline blinks in surprise.

"Wait… back up… you took the weenie's v-card?!" She said with a surprise look.

"Yup… guy was 18 unless he lied to me… either way he wasn't bad… honestly you princesses and queens missed out… definitely not compensating with his meat sword… may as well be a greatsword if you get the idea." Huntress said while she sounds amused.

Few royals blush from this after hearing that as Phoebe shook her head.

"But I don't get why Finn went to the badlands."

"Really?... lets ignore the fact your feigning concern given the issues I heard you had with Ice King because of Finn with a one time thing… you did at least hear how hostile many were with Finn right?... honestly I wouldn't be surprised if he enjoys being a true adventuring beast and becomes Canyon doing hero work in other lands if he is seen as enemy number one here in Ooo." Huntress said while she summons an arrow and looks at the arrow head and spun it by habit mainly.

"Not to mention Lumpy Space Princess was the one that was recording those events." Bubblegum said.

"Huh… was wondering why that happened… not sure if she has the luck of Globs or demons given she hasn't been killed yet… maybe I should get rid of her in the future if she causes more issues…" Huntress said while she sounds serious in that threat… she never really jokes unless told to so that was not a comment to take lightly.

"Nah, she's not worth it." Marceline said.

"She caused many to view Finn as a number one enemy of Ooo and while you could say he had this coming, pretty sure he learned his lesson… does LSP learn hers?... to me she is annoying as Ash when he tries to hit on me… pinned him to walls sometimes but he never gets the hint… maybe I should castrate the guy or turn him into a woman with a cursed spell so he isn't an issue anymore." Huntress said while she looks at Marceline calmly.

Marceline blinks at this.

"Girl, if you can do that to the donk, I will owe you big time." She said.

"Enough to help me convince people to let Finn back in Ooo without issue?... given things you would have the biggest issues with Finn given what happened between the Ice King and Finn's Ex here… she has been mostly quiet for awhile so I'm curious in what she is thinking so far." Huntress said when she looks at Phoebe now.

Everyone else did.

"Phoebe… issues aside… do you consider Finn an enemy?" Bubblegum said.

"What?" Phoebe said as Nightmare princess speaks.

"Like she said… do you consider Finn an enemy… honestly if so and you and your kingdom are hostile… we may have issues since Finn helped my sisters and I in the past… honestly instead of letting him come back to Ooo, may as well let him live in the nightmare kingdom with my sisters and I… with my powers he wouldn't wish for anything outside of the borders and I could make as many adventures as he wants… I mean my main power is wish granting to the point that I could make it so that this Ice King fellow could go from insane to sane at a drop of a hat or get some kind of alternate way to help him if that Crown caused him to go insane and stuff." Nightmare princess said making many blink a few times when registering what NP said… mainly… Marceline who looks absolutely shocked by this.

"Wait what!?" Marceline said as NP raised an eyebrow.

"What?... didn't Bubblegum tell you I was a Wish master of a high tier?... she sent Finn to help my kingdom when it was called the Nameless kingdom and after that issue was over with, she had cameras set up in my kingdom and I left them here and there without issue… though many seem dead for some reason... honestly haven't met any wishmasters of my level and very least wouldn't do a monkey's paw type thing… got enough respect for my powers to not screw up wishes." NP said while Marceline had a twitching eyebrow and gave Bubblegum a comically large eyed glare from this info.

Bubblegum chuckles nervously.

"Oops?" She said as Phoebe crossed her arms.

"I was never hostile with Finn. I said he was welcome to my kingdom as long he was honest."

NP hums at this.

"Ah… did that honesty cover morality and restraint on actions?... I maybe a bit newish being a Ruler of a registered kingdom for a few years but if you're the legendary one who forces truthful laws… maybe your people are not as welcoming to Finn as you are when you don't know it…" NP said when she had a hand on her hip.

Phoebe blinks a bit.

"What?" She said.

"Like I said… you maybe truthful in not having issues with Finn… but with this LSP woman showing what Finn did… well… I wouldn't be surprised if your people barely tolerate Finn… given how your laws say that you have to be truthful… well being truthful here… you are a grade A dumbass… in many ways… I maybe new but I would never enforce laws to make people truthful… I mean for example… if people keep quiet no one can say anything so unless you deliberately ask people what they think with Finn… you may not even know how hostile you people are… the rest of Ooo seem to despise Finn so not like they would be outliers… and finally before you snap… have you asked Finn's reasoning on WHY he did what he did in the first place?... for all we know he could have done what he did for an unknown reason which shows many here don't exactly have the best track records on intelligence… I mean given what I heard with the Ice King… mainly I just find it karma a princess kicked his ass because to me… he is a crazed kiddnapper… I know more but at face value… many would just see Finn as a crazed psychopath who sets up death battles with Royals… no one died yet but no one seems to have corrected that it was just a one time thing…" NP said while she looks at many seriously.

The group were quiet though Bubblegum and Marceline were the most since they knew from Jake's confession but haven't said a thing.

NP on her end then finished with this.

"Well its not like I care in how other kingdoms are ran… but if Finn is not welcomed here, the Nightmare Kingdom will be taking Finn to a new home if he is not welcome in others… with my powers, would be simple to make him a Glob among men as well so not like he and I wouldn't get some… interesting moments if I say… give him two cocks if he wished it or even the power to teleport anywhere he wanted… honestly I've been experimenting and no one topped my wish granting powers yet… well… maybe aside Glob level ones given I heard of this Prismo guy but he seems to have more catches then I do when it comes to wish granting… point is… if anyone has a wish for me to grant… my condition is mainly they have to help get Finn back to Ooo safely… what happens after is up to him and the rest of Ooo… will they see reason and keep a Hero who learned his lesson… or be fools and lose someone who can save their collective asses and let one mistake ruin the rest of their lives?" NP said while she states like that was a promise in taking Finn to her kingdom if no one else would accept him here as Huntress shrugs.

"Eh… I can take or leave him here, if you let me visit and stuff and what not, I don't mind what Finn does… guys a cool dood and stuff… wouldn't sleep with donks that for sure." Huntress said amusing NP a bit.

"Good to know. What do the rest of you say?" NP said.

"Before they speak… mind humoring two wishes I have?" Huntress said when she looks thoughtful on something as NP hums.

"Hmm… sure… what wishes do you want?" NP said.

"First… I wish for Miss Explodes when kissed to have a Stable matrix or a body that can hold her power without going supernova… heard rumors she could destroy the world if romanced so may as well get that fixed if your powers are that strong, may as well test it and it will lead to my second wish." Huntress said when she had a hand on her hip.

"Huh?!" Phoebe said as NP smirks.

"Alright." She said before snapping her fingers.

At first nothing happened as Huntress hums.

"Either instant or delayed… my next wish… I wish to be fireproof or if thats impossible, highly resistant to fire." Huntress said confusing many on the wish but NP looks amused.

"Very well…" NP said as she snapped her fingers.

"There… one fireproof Wood Nymph." NP said as Huntress nods her head.

"Alright…" Huntress said as she walked to Phoebe and shocked and surprised many when she moved to pull Phoebe in for a rather intense kiss when she kissed Phoebe on her lips and… she didn't burst into a fiery ball of death and Huntress a WOOD Nymph was full on touching her and not getting burned into ashes!?

Phoebe's eyes widened as she couldn't believe she's not only not exploding but… she was getting kisses from a girl.

Huntress has her tongue fight with Phoebe's for a moment before she pulls her head back.

"Hmmm… looks like its legit… your powers I mean… guess if asked nicely, can help the Ice King go from a madman to who he was right?" Huntress said when she lets go of Phoebe and looks at NP while Marceline's eyes widened when NP's powers were legit.

"After all this time… now I know what to wish for." Marceline said.

"Indeed… however you should know I can CHOOSE to grant wishes or not… want my help… try and help get Finn back so we can talk to the guy at least… and no… wishing he was here for any of you won't work… Finn maybe doing something important that we don't know about… saving someones life… getting laid… guy could even be on the toilet having the fight of his life taking a crap and we could get him right as he finished that fight… just because I have wish granting powers doesn't mean I know everything on what Finn does for a perfect moment to get him." NP said as she points this out to the group she maybe all powerful with wish granting… she isn't omnipotent in knowing things outside of her range.

The group knew NP was right so…

"Well… I wish you show us how Finn is doing… within reason." Bubblegum said.

NP nods her head.

"Smart." NP said as she waved her hand and a portal opened… to… show Finn getting slugged in the gut hard by Emerald and into a nearby wall as many got wide eyes when a large dustcloud was kicked up where Finn lands as Emerald speaks.

"Come on Finn… you know how to use healing Eco… heal your injuries… this is to test your ability to adapt as we work to find out where this source of Aura is." Emerald said as Finn when he got out of the wall coughed up some blood as he worked to have his hand glow lightly with a bluish white light and worked to heal his body while many princesses seeing the portal had wide eyes when they saw Emerald slugging Finn that hard and saw a black mist on his fist as Huntress hums.

"Hmm… Eco training huh?... must say its mentally friendly so no worries on Finn going mad Marceline… well unless he is learning how to use Dark Eco but that just makes people more aggressive if not mutated and stuff." Huntress said when she didn't look as shocked as the others.

"Uh… what's eco?" One royal said.

"Eco is something that may as well be the mental friendly version of magic, its a nature type magic that forms right from nature itself… to some effect Druid Wizards use a more magic form of eco which gives them a lesser insanity effect compared to other Wizards." Huntress said as Marceline raised an eyebrow.

"What about Grass Wizard and his cursed weapons?" Marceline said as Huntress shrugged.

"I said some effect… if Grass Wizard is going into the cursed biz… not exactly a no brainer in him being a douchebag of a Druid type… doesn't mean he is insane… just a jerk… anyway before you ask princess… yes it can be used for tech… yes it can be explained in science… but unless your willing to mine right from the planet itself… replicating Eco in a purely scientific way won't happen since thats what causes things like Dark Eco… you know what… NP… to save time… I wish everyone in this room knew what Eco in the Badlands are and it will save us BIG time on explanations." Huntress said while she looks at NP for help.

NP nods her head before with the snap of her fingers and everyone that didn't know Eco… well… they now know it.

"O-Oh my!" Bubblegum said when her head was flooded with so much knowledge that it momentarily stunned her.

"W-Wow… what a rush." Marceline said as the rest massaged their heads.
