"It's not that bad."
"It's bad," Nagisa shakes his head vehemently.
Sugino just sighs. "At least a lot of people agree with you?"
"Just as many people are freaking out over the whole thing." Nagisa straightens, though. "It's not like I even really give them weapons! Not like the guns we used to have. But we turned out fine, right?"
He bites his lip. "Well…"
Nagisa raises an eyebrow. It's not a threat. At least, not really.
Sugino seems to give up. "Given the apocalypse… It could have been worse."
"That's my point!" Nagisa nods, mostly affirming himself at this point. "At least I'm not threatening to murder their entire families or blow up the planet or anything!"
"Korosensei was quite something," Sugino smiles fondly. "I guess we knew when he was just messing with us."
"…Right?"
Something in his demeanour straightens. "You're doing the right thing by laying low though… probably. I don't know. They talked about it in media training but I haven't had to use it yet."
Of course, Sugino's job isn't purely about the game, as much as he probably wishes it was. There are certain responsibilities that come with being a sort of public figure. It's not like it is with Kayano or anything, where she has to go disguised pretty much anywhere, but the odd person wants to shake Sugino's hand or something every now and then. Sugino doesn't seem to mind, from what Nagisa can tell, but it's definitely not a major motivation. Still, it makes sense that he'd be prepared on how to handle a scandal, along with the hungry journalists that came with it. Nagisa even had a briefing on this, once, back when the Korosensei story was just made public. They all did.
"A part of me just wants to set the record straight," he admits.
Sugino smiles sympathetically. "It'll die down."
His lips press together. "Karma thinks it's hilarious."
"He would," Sugino rolls his eyes, before coughing awkwardly. "How is…" he just hand gestures, dropping off the rest of his statement.
Nagisa's not sure how to respond for a moment, the discomfort from his friend more than obvious. He's just asking because he thinks it's polite, probably… Nagisa knows it's weird, from an outsider's perspective. What, they're not talking, and a few hours later they're suddenly together? It was a messy situation… it still feels that way, sometimes.
"Good," he settles on. "We're… good. It's not that different to before."
Sugino nods. "Good."
He swallows, though, finding it surprisingly difficult. "I like him a lot," it slips out of him quietly.
Sugino hums. "I know. Maybe even longer than you have, by the sounds of it."
Nagisa looks at him curiously. "Huh?"
He rubs his temples. "It's always been different for you, right? Even back in 3E. History or no history, the way you used to act around each other… it's nothing like how you look at me, for example. It always felt like he was just… different, in your eyes." He shrugs. "I mean, I don't know. But it's not exactly surprising to me."
Even back then? "Oh," Nagisa says.
Sugino straightens up, though, a relaxed smile on his face. "That stuff doesn't really matter, anyway. As long as you're happy, right?" His eyes drift to his wrist. "I wish I could hang out longer, but…"
Nagisa gets it. "The season is ramping up, right?"
He grins. "Right! Practise is a lot… but I really think we can win the league this year."
"I'll be cheering you on," Nagisa affirms.
He starts to feel a creeping hollowness, though, the minute Sugino leaves his company. Actually, this is pretty much the first time he's had truly alone in a while, that he didn't just spend grading papers or taking care of his basic needs anyway. Not that he minds spending so much time in Karma's company. But… that doesn't make it normal?
Nagisa's not sure. He's pointedly avoiding looking at his phone, though. It's not like Karma's that crazy with texting him or anything, but he knows there's at least one or two messages. Their conversations never really end, these days, rather just pause until the next reply can come. It's ridiculous, but Nagisa's worried it will make him miss him. He literally saw him two days ago.
They haven't spoken so much about the news thing. Karma clearly just finds it funny, mostly, as he told Sugino. He'd tried to act at least a little supportive at first, at least? If waking him up with a blowjob counts as 'support'. In a way, not treating it as a big deal might have made him feel a little better… but he's not sure.
He needs to calm down, anyway. They've been dating for less than a month. Or… maybe it's more like half a year. He's still confused on how to count it, exactly. Whatever. The point is, isn't it way too early for these kinds of feelings anyway? It's not like they've followed any kind of normal so far, though. Which isn't a bad thing…
At least with sex, Nagisa could ask Karma about that. Dating, however… He's painfully aware that Karma knows as little as he does. Worse still, from what Nagisa's been able to sift through, Korosensei never wrote him detailed advice. Maybe because the questions Nagisa has are obvious? Or… Korosensei's trying to send him off on his own? Whatever the case, Nagisa could probably benefit from a book or two about this.
Huh. Books.
The last time Nagisa went to Book Off, he left with Pride and Prejudice. He ended up hating that book, actually, though maybe that was more due to self-projection. Whatever the case, he ends up there somehow, which isn't hard considering how many outlets of the chain there are. It also feels like somewhat of a limbo. There's only so much you can expect from a discount book store, though.
He's scanning the shelves, though he doesn't actually know what he's looking for. It's probably not Popular in Space! Futuristic 'Space Advice' to Solve your Worries, Taught by the Alien Sha, though. Nor… Holy Sign: How to Commune With God, Happy Advice On Child Rearing For The Busy Papa, or what appears to a book entitled with just the kanji for 'sin'. His eyes scan over The Parents Who Say "Please Kill My Kids!" and that feels like the right moment to back away from the shelf entirely.
Though, maybe "Is it okay to become a teacher right after graduation? Honest advice from young educators" could come in handy. Not now, at least.
The next shelf, largely full of pink book covers, is probably more like it. The titles blur together, as he decides to avoid whatever King of Date is about, even though he doesn't fully know what he's searching for. Or why he's even searching for anything at all? Well… maybe he has a little bit of an idea about that.
In fact, it seems obvious to him now. He needs impartial advice. And, as much as Nagisa loves his friends, he doesn't feel like making them worry, or answering more questions than he has to. A book, though… A book can't talk back to him. It also has more credibility than the internet… probably. His eyes finally catch on something titled 'Modern Dating: A Practical Guide'. That'll do.
Flicking through a couple of the pages, Nagisa inspects the contents a little. It seems a little stuck on the idea that one of them would be a woman, but it's probably adaptable? There's a few subheadings that catch his eye, at least, phrased like questions that he genuinely does kind of want the answer to.
Unfortunately, it's kind of rude to just stand in a store reading an entire book, so he bites the bullet and just buys the thing. He also takes it in a, thankfully opaque, bag. It's definitely not the kind of thing he wants to be seen with in public. It feels electric in his grasp, though, like it's about to burst forth with all the answers to his problems.
Suffice to say, he doesn't waste time when he gets home. There's a lot there, really, or at least it seems that way from the topics listed in the contents. He flicks through, not quite ready to research anything, but definitely taking in more detail than he had before. He eventually decides to stick with a generic kind of summary page, which seems more preventative in nature, rather than an attempt to solve issues.
Try new things together… Surprise them with a gift… Give them compliments… Plan some fun dates.
Nagisa finds his cheeks burning. It really is that… just obvious tips. But does he actually do any of those things? He thinks back to what he said to Sugino. It really isn't that different to before, not really. Sure, they kiss and hug more now, but it doesn't feel different. Should it? Maybe some of the things there, they're more relationship exclusive.
It's not like Nagisa couldn't do them! Though, trying new things is kind of hard, considering he's known Karma since he was twelve. And dates… that would be nice, actually, but Karma basically took him on every date already. Does Karma even need compliments, with his ego as sky high as it already is? As for gifts, Nagisa wouldn't know where to start. He basically gave him a blowjob for his birthday as it was! And he's pretty sure that's not what the author means. Probably like flowers or chocolate or something.
Rather than internally arguing with the book about it, though, he finds himself impassioned to get out one of his generic notebooks and a pen. In the centre, he simply writes 'things that Karma likes'. Maybe it's his inner school teacher coming out, but nothing beats a good spider diagram at times such as this.
He elects to stick to material things, otherwise the whole list will read like 'making fun of people'. The first few come easy enough to him, at least. Movies, strawberries, video games… He's still not sure what he's planning to do with any of this, though. Movies should be easy enough? Nagisa searches recent cinema releases, but it just ends up drawing a blank.
Sure, Karma likes movies, but it's not like he's consistent with it. It's hard to tell what he'd actually want to see out of these choices. The kids movies are an easy write off, but from there he's not sure. There's a new anime release, but as far as Nagisa knows, he likes One Piece, not anime in general. The dramas look too serious. Even the American releases look a little dry, mostly action films. Sonic Ninja is the exception, not the rule. Karma wouldn't want to go to the cinema just for the sake of it anyway, so it's probably a no go. Besides, it wouldn't be different to something they do all the time as friends.
Since he has his phone in hand, he ends up opening his LINE app, finally, his fingers typing almost automatically.
Nagisa: Are you free later?
He instantly regrets it, actually. Him doing… this research or whatever it is, it's not about asking him out right now. There's certainly a part of him that's trying to prove a point to himself, anyway, that he can go at least a few days without seeing Karma. But, apparently not. This can't be good for him in the long term, right?
Karma: Something happen?
Nagisa: No.
Nagisa: I just don't have any grading or anything left.
Karma: You missed me?
Karma: I'm touched
Nagisa: Just answer the question or I'm uninviting you.
Karma: I'm invited somewhere now huh?
That's a good point, honestly. Is he trying to invite Karma over or what? Not there's much to do here… And, if one thing's for sure, this is not a booty call. That means he has to actually take him somewhere now. Not that he has many ideas for that at all. Everything that comes to mind is just something they usually did as friends. Come to think of it, even since they first started hooking up, they haven't really been many places.
His phone buzzes again.
Karma: The anticipation's killing me
Nagisa: There are worse ways to die.
Karma: That sounded like a threat
Nagisa considers responding with 'it is', but, thinking back to the book, murder is probably against its teachings. He knows he has to say something, though. He still feels pretty clueless, though! In a slight state of panic, he ends up sending a location pin for a conveyor belt sushi place he knows is relatively near to Karma's apartment. He's been there… slightly intoxicated… a few times.
Nagisa: Meet me here in an hour?
Karma: Should I expect snipers?
He's just going to take that as a yes. If Karma actually had objections, he would have just said so. At least, Nagisa thinks. Well, regardless of that, at least he kind of did it. A date! Not that he specifically called it that, but is it just implied at this point. Nagisa's not sure how it works. Is all one on one time automatically a date when you're a couple? Maybe it only counts when you meet someone somewhere, rather than leaving together? But, what about married couples in that case? Don't think about the M word!
His internal debates lead him to the shower, though he's not entirely sure why. It's not like it's a fancy sushi place or anything, and he's already dressed. Though, well, if he knows he's seeing Karma, it's probably worth preparing for it. Does that make it seem like he has some kind of ulterior motive? Or is it just… learned experience.
He takes the shower either way.
Nagisa realises he hasn't actually left himself a lot of time, factoring in travel, so he dresses himself without too much thought. At least he thinks about closing the book, at least for that evening, and stowing it under some of his work stuff. He pretty much has to leave straight after that, which might actually be doing him some good mentally.
He can't deny the way his heart lights up, when he sees Karma waiting. It's only been a few days. Nagisa just about manages to stop himself from running over to him. He keeps his cool, at least, until Karma sees him too. He smiles in his direction, half waving, and Nagisa almost stumbles to his side.
"You know," Karma says, "usually when you want to take someone out for a date you just ask them."
Nagisa shrugs. "You still came." Then he thinks. "Maybe you missed me."
"At least I'm man enough to admit it," Karma grins, entwinning their hands. He's infuriating, but Nagisa can't actually be mad at him. "So, did you make a reservation?"
Should he have? "No," he says as they start walking towards the entrance, "but it's never super busy at this joint."
"Of course," Karma nods," your fish thing."
"What fish thing?" His eyes narrow with confusion.
Karma looks down at him. "You know… Your fish nutrition facts? I mean, I always knew you liked sushi and all."
He feels blood rush to his cheeks. "Haha, yeah…"
Luckily, as expected, there aren't that many people there. They don't even have to wait, simply taking a booth ticket and going straight over to the table. Nagisa feels weirdly on edge, almost snapping the disposable chopsticks into splinters after they've taken their seats. He needs to change the subject, especially in this kind of setting.
"H-how was work?" Nagisa offers. It's the reason he didn't spend last night at Karma's, at least.
Karma looks down for a moment. "Not worth it."
Nagisa gets it. He doesn't like the obligatory work events either. He's even lucky, probably, that he doesn't have to do it that often. Networking or whatever is a lot more important to Karma's line of work. Still, that doesn't make it fun.
He grabs a plate of nigiri from the conveyor belt and looks at him. "There's been some developments though."
Nagisa feels curious. "Like what?"
"It started with Sakura's identical twin."
His face falls flat. "You're making this up at this point."
"I promise! It's all true." He clears his throat. "I think she's dating Katayama now, anyway."
"This is very confusing," Nagisa wrinkles his nose.
A grin grows on Karma's face. "You're thinking 'wow, this country is run by idiots'. And I'd agree with you."
Nagisa takes his own dish from the conveyor belt. "That's not reassuring."
They start eating, at that point. Nagisa's actually glad he suggested this. No matter what, sushi is still his favourite food. Karma doesn't seem to mind, either. Though, maybe it's a little selfish of him to choose a place like this for a date, rather than something Karma would specifically like. Then again, Karma did literally take him to the One Piece Tower.
Besides, it's fine here! Not too busy… good food… Maybe not the most romantic vibe ever but it's not off putting. The décor is passable. There's ambient music playing, even!
The ambient music…
Nagisa frowns, now that he's mentally tuning into it properly, he recognises it. This song… He knows it too well. He never wanted to listen to this song in Karma's presence.
Oh no.
Fish fish fish…
Karma tilts his head. "What's wrong?"
Although Nagisa can't see himself, he assumes his complexion must have skipped pink and red and gone straight to purple. "Nothing."
He just looks at him though. "What, do I have wasabi on my teeth or something?"
Nagisa can't hold it in any longer. He splutters, the air he restrained so well flushing out of his lungs, and his eyes start watering. Maybe people are looking at him, but there's nothing he can do to restrain the fits of laughter that are now escaping him. Karma looks at him like he's been possessed by a demon, but maybe that's better than the truth.
"Do you need water?"
He shakes his head harshly, but the laughs don't stop. At least Karma hasn't just up and left?
"Karma," he tries to control himself, wiping his eyes, "uhm-"
Karma actually looks a little bit scared. "Yeah?"
"Can you…" he can barely get it out, "can you stick to vegetarian sushi from now on?"
"Okay," he says neutrally, "if you tell me what's so funny."
That sobers him up almost immediately. "Oh no, I can't do that."
"Why?"
"Because!" Nagisa realises he might be a little too overstimulated at this point to have a rational conversation about this. "You just can't, okay?"
Karma tilts his head again. "Am I going to have to torture it out of you or something?"
He's not sure if he means fun torture or the kind with wasabi and mustard. Nagisa doesn't really want to find out.
"I promise you don't want to know."
"I definitely do now."
"It'll change things-"
"For the worse?"
"Not necessarily-"
"Then give it up."
"Blowjobs!" Nagisa says, just a little bit too loudly.
Karma's eyes widen. "Please don't tell me that's meant to be some kind of metaphor."
"No!" He reinforces it with his hand gestures. "Do we really have to talk about this right now?"
Karma nods. "You can't just yell about blowjobs and not follow it up."
This might be one of his lower moments. "Look! I just… I wanted some practice, okay? So I went to the supermarket to buy something, and this song was playing at the fish counter." He finally exhales. "Alright?"
"I don't know Nagisa," he sighs dramatically. "It still kind of feels like you're comparing my dick to-"
"I used a banana for that," Nagisa hisses. "It was just playing! At the same time! A-and then after that, I was trying to get used to-to the throat discomfort… and the song popped into my head. It's helpful.. sometimes…"
Karma's silent for a moment, and it's probably the longest Nagisa's ever witnessed him process information. "You practised on a banana?"
He blinks. "That's your key takeaway?"
"What are you, twelve?"
Nagisa frowns. "What else was I supposed to use?"
"I was right there."
"You told me it was a test!"
Karma folds his arms. "Did you eat it afterwards?"
"Well, I wasn't going to waste them."
"Them!"
"Yeah," he says. "I bought a bunch."
"Oh, so this is a regular activity for you."
Now Nagisa's starting to feel a little petty. "Don't act like you're not benefiting."
"By all means," Karma says, his signature smirk growing. "If practise is what you want, just go ahead and use the live model."
Nagisa's eyes narrow, before he thinks his way out of the corner he's talking himself into. "I don't need to, now."
"Huh?"
He shrugs. "I know how to do it now. So I don't have much reason to practise anymore."
Karma's face falls. "Wait a second-"
"Maybe it's one of those things like riding a bike. I'll probably never forget how now, so no need to do it again ever."
"Nagisa."
He meets his eyes, and admittedly it's a little funny. "What?" He says it innocently.
Karma clears his throat, before his gaze hardens a little. "So you think about fish as a distraction?"
Nagisa should have known he wouldn't escape that part.
"M-maybe…"
Something dawns over Karma's face. "Is that why you made the safeword-"
"I couldn't think of anything else on the spot!" Nagisa defends, or tries to at least.
"I'm trying to figure out if I should be offended or not."
His eyes narrow. "Why would you be?"
"Hm, I don't know," Karma leans his elbows on the table, "like, if you're thinking about tuna or whatever every time we have se-"
"Not every time!" Nagisa interrupts him. "Just take it as a compliment and move on."
A glint dances in his eye. "You're really riled up about this."
"So what?"
"Well, that's not doing much to discourage me."
"You sound like a middle school bully."
A smile creeps on his face. "You beat me up in middle school, remember?"
"And I'm capable of doing it again."
"With pleasure," Karma says.
Nagisa attempts to ignore whatever he's insinuating. "Y-you're not mad, right?"
Karma lets out a light laugh. "Why would I be? So you're some kind of sushi deviant. It's not the weirdest I've seen."
"I don't have a-a fetish!"
He leans back casually. "Is taking me here some attempt to indoctrinate me?"
"Of course n-"
"I have to say," Karma continues, "I'm not one to kink shame. But I'm not going to join you. There's some things that just cross the line. You're lucky you're cute," he shrugs. "But if I catch you with nori in bed, it's over."
There's no winning, at this point. "Noted."
Karma stretches across the table again, taking his hand as though it's a sweet gesture. "This is why we're so good together."
Of course, Nagisa's annoyed. Karma's been making fun of him blatantly for the last few minutes, so he has every right to be. He's not even sure Karma really means that statement, but it still makes his heart quicken. Damn him. It's not doing much to help the redness in his face, either, no matter how much he attempts to get himself to cool down.
At least Karma keeps his promise and sticks to vegetables.
All in all, Nagisa would call it a successful date. If it even is a date. Maybe he should seek clarity on that. Regardless, it ends with them standing side by side outside the restaurant, after finishing up their plates and paying. Nagisa wonders if he should have offered to front the bill. This… he could probably afford.
Actually, as they walk like this, Nagisa finds his reservations flooding back. This isn't so different to what they did as friends either. Sure, Karma held his hand for a few seconds there, but… Nagisa gulps. He knows he's doing the thing again. The thing he really doesn't want to do. Maybe… if he talks about it…
"Karma," he gets out, throat dry all of a sudden. "Uhm… do you ever worry that we're not so different to friends?"
Karma looks down at him. "What, you want me to call you sweetie or something?"
Nagisa feels his face fall. "That's not what I meant!"
Karma's expression twists into his signature evil grin, though. "Something the matter, honey?"
"I swear to-"
"But babe~," he grabs him by the chin, forcing him to look at him, "you asked for it."
Nagisa tries his best to pull out his flat, unimpressed face. Unfortunately, as annoying as Karma is, his actions are making him blush a little. Nagisa really wishes he could control that better. He doesn't want to reinforce Karma's actions and encourage him to keep going. Especially in public like this! So, he elects to just not respond.
"What if I want you to be my stud muffin-"
Karma watches too much American TV. H's making him feel a little better though. Even that has an element of hesitation. Nagisa does kind of still want an actual answer, rather than this kind of teasing. In fact, there's a lot of things that Karma just said that Nagisa never wants to hear again. Ever.
"Darling~" Karma complains, this time in Japanese.
Something about that catches him off guard. Maybe it feels more personal? Even though he knows Karma's still joking… there's something about it. Like he can imagine Karma saying it seriously, accompanied by a goodbye kiss in their early mornings. Maybe he likes that idea too much. Now he's blushing for another reason.
"I'll take that as a no," Nagisa says.
"Well," Karma lets out, "I hope you don't treat your friends like me."
He shakes his head. "Well… no…"
"You asked me on a date, didn't you?"
Date! He called it a date! Nagisa smiles. "I guess so."
"I'll give you a reminder if you still need one, when we get home."
Nagisa hates the way his breath hitches, and it's like his legs speed up all on their own. It's not like Karma explicitly invited him over either. They're just… walking in that direction. Nagisa tries to pick his spirits up. Things are fine between them. Just great! He's worrying himself over nothing! Nagisa just needs to calm down.
Not that there's much calming when they do eventually get to Karma's apartment, just about making it to the bedroom door before they're all over each other as though it's actually been weeks, not days. A part of him feels like he especially needs it, though, wrapping himself around Karma as tight as he can go.
Somewhere in the flurry of kisses and hands, they both get down to their underwear. Nagisa finds himself pushing Karma back, so he falls back onto the mattress. He follows him down somewhat, ending up poised above him. He pauses for a moment, though, deciding what to actually do from here. Though… maybe he could prove a point.
Before he can talk himself out of it, he shuffles back and presses his mouth to Karma's crotch. That earns him a gasp, at least, before he works on actually pulling his boxers off. He's not quite hard yet, but Nagisa can feel him actively getting there. Hoping to speed the process along, he wraps his lips around the head and sucks lightly.
Karma's hand comes down to his hair, though his grip is light and soft. He can't help but lean into it, as he uses his own hand to stroke Karma's forming erection. It doesn't take long at all, really, until he was firm in his grip, allowing Nagisa to take more of him in. He's actually a lot better at this nowadays, or so he thinks so, the discomfort barely noticeable anymore.
He incorporates his tongue a little bit, and kind of regrets it because of the shaky moan Karma lets out unashamedly. Not that that's not music to his ears, it definitely is, but it's still pretty early in the evening all things considered.
"You're too loud," Nagisa pulls off to say. Maybe it's a warning.
It doesn't stop Karma from moaning even louder, though.
"Seriously! Do I need to gag you or something?"
Karma locks eyes with him and groans lightly, almost like he doesn't care. Though, maybe he is struggling to hold it in. He lets out a shallow breath, eyes glassed over a little, and Nagisa takes his expression in properly. It's almost like he's even more turned on by the suggestion. Huh. In some sort of fit of inspiration, he reaches for the discarded boxers, balls them up, and shoves them in his mouth.
Now what?
Actually, Karma looks pretty surprised. Maybe just as surprised as Nagisa is with himself for actually doing it. Well… it's not like he's restrained in any other way. He can take it out… if he wants to. Nagisa tries not to think too hard about how much he's enjoying the sight of it, a strange feeling growing in his chest.
He returns to what he was doing instead, wrapping his lips around Karma's erection again and taking him even deeper. When Karma groans this time, it's decidedly muffled. Is it weird that's doing something to him? He swallows around him, and maybe due to everything, Karma seems to be a lot freer still with his sounds.
Nagisa can also tell when he gets close, even though it really hasn't been that long. It's obvious enough, if not just for the way his legs are shaking just a little bit. And then, Nagisa has it in him to think for a moment. There's something about this… it kind of feels like giving Karma a taste of his own medicine somehow.
He pulls off him, then, and elects instead to tongue the length of him. He's not cruel, he keeps his hand there, but he does push it further. He sucks kisses onto his inner thighs, and then further still to his lower abdomen. It's not the easiest thing, though, with the way his abs are so tensed up. At this point he's just interesting.
Karma attempts to whine something that sounds a tiny bit like his name.
He sits up properly, taking a mental picture of the situation whilst he can, before tugging the cloth from Karma's mouth.
Karma lets out a shaky exhale. "Those bananas…" he pants, "pretty lucky."
Nagisa glares. Karma gulps.
For some reason, the most natural course of action feels like hitting him square in the chest. It's not hard, or anything. Honestly, Nagisa kind of doubts he could actually hurt him much at all in that kind of way. Karma's eyes are wide, though, maybe caught off guard? Nagisa's not sure, but he feels like he should apologise for that.
Suddenly regaining his composure a little, though, Karma raises an eyebrow, and just looking at him Nagisa can see the gold of his eyes have been nearly consumed by dark pupil. "Go on then."
Nagisa feels a little self-conscious. "Um… y-you want me to?"
He laughs shallowly. "What do you think?"
No matter what way they've done this before, Karma's pretty much always been in control. At least in the ways that really matter. It's strange, because for a moment there, a part of him really did like it. And now he's hesitating. Considering Karma basically just told him to, it's not like he's worried about that aspect or anything, but…
"I'm all yours," Karma adds.
It certainly looks that way, doesn't it? There's drool on the corner of his mouth from earlier, and he's pretty much spread out on the mattress, hair fanned out against the pillow like some kind of halo. His chest, especially, is flushed a deep shade of red. It's so fascinating, in fact, it's the first place his hand automatically goes out to. When he doesn't spontaneously combust, Nagisa decides to just straddle him fully.
"Okay," he says, and kisses him.
Except, for once, it's not just a kiss. In fact, it's one of the few weapons he knows he has against Karma. No, this isn't for his own enjoyment (not that it doesn't feel fantastic), he's focusing. Karma seems to get it, too, body stiffening in realisation for only a moment before he immediately goes slack. That should be enough hits.
When Nagisa comes up again, that strange feeling returns. Karma looks so open like this, mouth hanging wide and face also completely flushed. It's almost like he's paralysed like this. Not that Nagisa isn't pretty turned on as it is, but that just makes the heat near unbearable. Nagisa finds himself fumbling a bit, grabbing a condom and the lube from the nightstand (pretty much a permanent feature at this rate).
Before actually doing anything, though, he pauses and pulls Karma's arms above his head, pinning his wrists down.
"Stay there," he says, his tone balanced. It's not a total command, but it has an edge of warning to it, if Karma were to ignore him.
His head moves in what Nagisa thinks might be a nod, and that's good enough for him. He makes quick enough work of everything, finally stripping his own underwear off and distributing the lube. It'll be fine, he thinks, as long as he doesn't rush. His earlier shower actually turned out to be kind of useful. Besides, Karma showed him recently it's quite easy to be in control like this.
His breathes deeply as he hovers himself over Karma and sinks down. At least he's come far enough that this position, lining up the angle right, isn't that difficult anymore. Karma bites down hard on his lip, brow creasing with effort not to move. For his sake, Nagisa tries not to take it too slow, finding his body pretty pliant at this point anyway.
It does take him a moment, though, to get his thoughts straight once he has him to the hilt. Even though there's less logistics to think about now he's sat on Karma's pelvis like this, it's difficult to concentrate with his nerves alight like this. Nagisa can tell already, all it's going to take to get really good is just the slightest shift in angle.
He bites down hard on his own lip as he tests raising his knees, drawing Karma out of him some. This isn't the time to be a straight up hypocrite. Karma's head thrashes back against the pillow at that, but it's clear he's trying his best to keep still. It's as much motivation as Nagisa needs to pick up the pace, leaning forwards so he's more braced over him.
Not that it's necessary, but Nagisa finds his hand joining Karma's wrists anyway, actually pinning them down. He wasn't moving them before or anything, but he kind of likes to feel the strain there. Nagisa picks up the pace as much as he can, which has the slightly beneficial side effect of preventing any moans he might have made, replacing them with breaths of exertion.
It's not too long before he feels Karma tense, finally groaning again. "Nagisa."
In response, he sits back up properly, staring down at his face. "What?" He questions gently, at least.
Karma's back arcs, shifting the angle a bit, though Nagisa's not too mad about it. The only downside to doing it like this is he can't really grind against his prostate so easily. Not that it doesn't still feel great. Not by a long shot. But, that movement got him a bit closer at least. More than anything, it's just fun to look at him like this.
His eye opens a little. "Close."
Which is understandable. In fact, Nagisa wonders if he's inadvertently edged him a couple of times with all of this. That thought makes him wonder, for just a second, if he should do it purposely again. But no, Karma has done what he said so far. It still feels too easy, though. Hm. Something comes over him, then, and he does stop moving, using his leg muscles to keep Karma from much shifting too.
"Ask nicely," he says.
Even so debauched, Karma still has the capacity to look annoyed. "Wha-"
He pushes his hands down onto his chest, though. "And," he thinks whilst he's at it, "promise to stop making fun of me. No bananas, or fish, again. Ever."
"Nagisa."
Having not proven his point enough, clearly, he takes a cheap shot and clenches himself around him. "It's your decision."
Karma looks pained, for a moment, with his eyes now wide open. "Fine. I promise."
Somehow, a small smile creeps onto Nagisa's face. Maybe he needs to start using this tactic more often? Though, something about that feels like an abuse of power…
"Please, Nagisa," Karma tosses his head back, "would you be so kind as to move?"
Right.
"That wasn't-" his breath hitches as he picks up the pace again. "So hard."
He just gets a groan in response. Nagisa's okay with that. In fact, he's hurtling pretty close to the edge himself. Karma, though, he can definitely feel him throb inside him, the rest of his body practically vibrating.
"Come for me," he says.
It surprises even him, and he clearly wasn't thinking before it slipped out. In fact, it feels entirely alien on his lips. Maybe it catches Karma off guard too, because he pretty much follows that command, eyes rolling up. One of his arms finally moves as he slams it against his mouth, covering up his own deep moans. Nagisa can't find it in him to mind that much, riding him through the orgasm until he's too sensitive.
Karma's breaths come out shallow, before he suddenly jolts, pulling out of him and flipping them over so that Nagisa lands on his back. He doesn't get much time to question what he's doing, before Karma's just kissing him, and uses his hand to quickly finish him off. He doesn't need to try that hard, honestly, with Nagisa easily falling apart under his hand.
Like that, they separate a little, the heat just a little too much for a moment. They end up lying beside each other, mutually trying to catch their breaths. Nagisa just feels light headed, though there's also a deep sensation of satisfaction.
"Woah," Karma says eventually, "we should do that more often."
Nagisa eyes him curiously. "All I did was use my teacher voice really."
"Yup," Karma pops the 'p', staring at the ceiling.
He's somewhere between pleased and slightly confused. On the one hand… it was fun… But Karma really does have some kind of teacher thing, doesn't he? He keeps playing it off like he's joking, or trying to get a rise out of Nagisa, but there's always a slight blush on his cheeks whenever he calls him 'sensei'. Not that Nagisa's inviting that.
"A-are you okay?" Nagisa thinks to ask, realising he probably should when he's in this position.
"Mhm," Karma hums. It's almost like a cat purring.
He considers his options for a moment, before giving in and reclining next to Karma, tucking himself against his side. Other things can wait. This appears to make Karma pleased, considering he immediately pulls him tight into his arms. Nagisa's skin still feels over sensitive, but he definitely doesn't mind it. Like this, he can feel Karma's steady heartbeat against his chest, and there's little more peaceful than that.
Until Karma starts snoring right next to his ear, at least, but that can't be helped. Next time he's making him promise to help clean up too.
