AN: Well it's been a while and one review was not happy with how I handled Bakugo in the first chapter. I will admit my fault for handing it poorly but there's not much I can do for now but makeup by keeping the characters and hopefully I can make this fic work. Feel free to DM me or leave a comment. Please fave and follow as it helps me with my confidence.

All the characters and settings belong to their respective creators and I only own my OCs. Now sit back, relax, and enjoy the show

Having finished his thoughts on Momo, Silver decided to head back to the stands to see the rest of the matches of the first round. "Let's see how the rest progress." He muttered to himself.

Silver rounded the corner seeing Ochako, Iida, and Izuku having a prep talk for the former and decided to listen in on them.

He doesn't interrupt and listens to the entire thing, especially Ochako's motivation to be a hero: helping her family and in his eyes, it doesn't sound selfish. If anything, it's the right mix of good and down-to-earth. 'So, she's willing to return the favor for her folks, huh? I'll see if I can pull a few strings for her so she wouldn't worry too much about her parents.'

With that, he decided to make a beeline to his seat to see Ochako's match.

Arena

Midnight took center stage as she was pumping up the crowd.

"Who is ready for the next match?!" She shouted as she cracked her whip.

Ochako was coming out of the corner, a determined grin on her face.

"INNNN THE LEFT CORNER, IS THE CUTE BUBBLY GIRL OF 1-A, URARAKA OCHAKOOO!" Announced Mic. Aizawa gave a long time friend a glare.

"Did you really need to introduce one of my students with such an odd description?" The underground teacher asked.

"You're not denying it, though..." Mic responded, teasingly.

Aizawa sat there as he decided not to answer him.

Meanwhile in the stands, Kougami was counting his winnings as his classmates were pissed that his prediction was correct. He stopped counting as he overheard the name Uraraka.

'Isn't that a construction business that has recently fallen on hard time?' Kougami thought to himself.

"In the left corner, the Assassin of 1-B herself, Ibaraaa Shizoakkkiiii!"

While the crowd cheered, Ibara had a rather sour expression. "I do not kill in the name of, my lord…" She muttered.

"Oh... uh... apologies?" Mic said, a bit surprised.

"How the hell are you able to hear that far away?" Asked Aizawa.

"Reading lips, Eraser."

"You're still on air."

"Errr…fun fact, everyone! I can read lips!"

"Just.. begin... the fight, Yamada."

"Narumi, can you please get the match on its way…"

Down at the arena, Midnight held her whip up as the signal. Ochako looked ready to sprint while Ibara started to let some of her vines go loose.

"It will be quick," Ibara said, getting her vines ready.

Ochako had a fire in her eye as she was ready to go.

"Go for broke! Fight!" Shouted Midnight as she cracked her whip signaling the start of the fight.

Ibara uses her vines and whips them out to keep Ochako at a distance. However Ochako lightened her shoes so she could be able to jump out of the way from the attack.

(Play OST: False Knight [Hollow Knight])

Ochako is glad she jumped out of the way. If she got caught, it would have been game over.

'How do I get close to her and avoid those vines? Damn it, what can I do?' Ochako thought as she tired to figure out a way to get up close.

Ibara sees a column and aims at it instead. The vines wrapped around the column as it started to crack from the pressure.

Ochako sees what Ibara's planning to do, toppling that on top of her. As it came closer, she flipped over to have her feet pointed at the falling column. When it came close enough, Ochako kicked off the falling Column and made sure to angle herself so that she can go straight to the ground.

THUD!

Hitting the ground, Ochako rolled before using the momentum to get back on her feet. "Oh... no..." she said, feeling something bubbling up from her stomach. She covered her mouth quickly to keep it down.

"I…have to…push through…"

As she kept at it, she needed to make it count.

"Victory shall be claimed for my Lord! Eden's Grip!"

Her thorned hair started to move more wildly before sending a wave of vines at Ochako.

Ochako yelped, but she needed to dodge now. She turned to her left and saw the Fallen pillar she kicked off of earlier.

"There it is!" she screamed, dashing to the fallen pillar. She touched the pillar as it started to float.

Wielding it as a baseball bat, she swung it around like she was preparing a hammer toss and threw it.

GRAV-TOSS!

Ibara's eyes widened as she pulled back her vines, forming an improvised shield to prepare for the incoming attack.

BANG!

Ibara's vine shield worked but dust kicked up from the blow. She started to cough but soon felt a foot kich her in the back of the head. Ibara clutched her head as she saw Ochako was behind her to deliver another kick.

"How dare you use deception against me!" Screamed Ibara. Ochako was soon hit by a wave of vines as it started to ensnare and entangle her.

What the audience saw was that Ochako became enwrapped in vines like a trapped animal. She looked green around the gills from over working her Quirk.

(End OST)

"Winner by KO Ibara Shiozaki!" Announced Midnight.

The crowd cheered and clapped at the fight they saw.

"Okay, folks. We shall be cleaning up the arena for a minute!" Said Mic.

Ibara soon started to retract her vines back and let Ochako go. "Heheh..." Ochako said, a bit woozy. She stumbled a bit before Ibara helped support her.

"Are you alright, Uraraka?" Asked Ibara.

Ochako gives her a thumbs-up in response. "Yeah…my Quirk makes me queasy if I over use it…" She responded.

"Oh, I see. Let's get you to Recovery Girl. And may the lord give you a swift recovery." Replied of them made their way off the stage and to the exit of the arena.

1-A's Stand

1-A was in shock, their classmate had lost her match in the first round. "She lost!" Shouted Mineta.

"Shiozaki was just too much for her." Stayed Tokoyami with crossed arms.

Izuku knew what he had to do and he went out of the stand and straight to the medical wing to check on his friend.

"Alright, folks. As the ring's almost repaired and then the next match will begin!" Announced Mic as he was getting the crowd pumped up.

Medical Wing

Ochako was sitting in a folding chair and was relaxed. After taking some medicine Recovery Girl gave her for her nausea, she was starting to recover.

"Oh... now, I'm feeling better..." she said, feeling much better. Well she was physically better, emotionally she was not fine.

"Uraraka…?"

She turned her head to see Izuku by the door. "Are you alright?" He asked.

Ochako's face started to sullen. "No... no... not at all." She said quietly.

"... look, I won't lie. Shiozaki was a complete surprise to all of us watching."

Silence filled the room both teens were in.

"I failed... " Stated Ochako. She looked down to the ground as tears started to form.

"No, no. You didn't, I'm sure you impressed quite a few pros" Countered Izuku. "You did great during your fight, especially since you used the arena around you."

"... but I still lost that quickly..." The Sadness very apparent in her voice.

Izuku had to think carefully on what to say next. "Look, I don't think it's a failure."

"... H-how?" Asked Ochako as she looked at him, tears still in her eyes. "How would you consider what I did not a failure?"

Izuku still needed to be careful with his words. Taking a deep breath he knew what to say. "You actually gave it your hardest and had Shiozaki on the ropes for a bit, plus you showed off some IQ in the match too."

Ochako perked up at that, remembering the tactic with the fallen pillar. "Right...! Shiozaki was surprised by that." She gave a cute smile to which Izuku returned. The One for All user was happy to see his friend slowly return to her normally peppy self.

Room next door

"What is Raccoon Eyes doing?!" Shouted Bakugo. Currently he is in bed with bandages wrapped around his torso.

He watches the TV and on-screen, Ashido was dancing around Kaminari, dodging each of his poorly executed strikes. With one swift kick and a fall, Kaminari was out of the ring.

With a scoff Bakugo leaned back into the bed. He looked down at the bandages that are wrapped around his chest and sneered.

'I can't believe it... I lost...! And to a damn nobody!'

Bakugo was gritting his teeth as that blind Gen Ed student beat him like he was nothing. Could he be…weak?

Arena

The arena was fully fixed up by Cementoss and the next match is on its way.

"Alright here we are at the sixth match. ANDDD IN THE LEFT CORNER LET'S WELCOME THE UNDERDOG OF 1-B, MONOMA NEITOOOOOOO!"

While the crowd cheered, Monoma walks in with a calm swagger. He was enjoying the applause as he gave a bow to the crowd.

"And in the right corner! HARD AS ROCK, It'S EIJIRO KIRISHIMAA-OW!"

Aizawa glared at Mic while the latter was rubbing his head. "Think before you speak, Yamada. Do you really want Nerumi ribbing you for that innuendo?"

"Oh... my bad." Saud Mic bashful, blushing in embarrassment.

Down at the arena, Kirishima jogged up and onto the stage. He waved nervously to the crowd but was ready for the fight.

"May the best man win," said Monoma.

"Uhhh…yeah! Same deal, dude." responded Kirishima.

"Ladies and gentlemen, it's…SHOWTIME!" Announced Midnight as she signaled the start of the match.

(Play OST Blazblue Rebellion)

Kirishima throws the first strike by sending a few punches at Monoma. He took the blows by defending himself despite the bruises. Taking the opportunity, he soon turned his hands to iron. He was thankful for letting Tetsutetsu allow him to borrow his quirk for the time being.

'Thanks for letting me borrow your Quirk, Tetsutetsu. And now I will show 1-A not to mess with 1-B!' With a smirk he was ready to rumble.

Kirishima was caught off guard at what happened. "What the?!" He kept his guard up at the rather sloppy punches.

"What's the matter, can't handle fighting me?" Taunted Monoma.

Kirishima responded back with a cross-counter to the face. "No, I can!"

Monoma skidded back before he felt something wet coming out of his mouth. He touched it quickly and saw it was blood.

'Crap, I'm also most out of time! Wait, maybe…' Monoma thought as he saw Kirishima running up to him.

He allowed Kirishima to uppercut him in the chin.

BAM!

Monoma's chin was hardened at the last minute, but he still felt the weight of the punch. "Ow... well, it was worth the pain..." he said, smirking despite the pain.

With new vigor, Monoma launched a right jab which Kirishima blocked before countering with an uppercut.

BAM!

Monoma tanked it a bit, then responded with a one-two combo. Kirishima was surprised a bit but he struck back with a hook to Monoma's temple.

The two started to go back and forth with neither not letting up. Kirishima was stronger while Monoma was slightly quicker. However, after 5 minutes, Monoma started to feel his skin soften.

'No! I need more-'

Kirishima ruins that thought with a punch in the jaw. He then followed up by pinning him to the ground and held Monoma in an armbar.

Midnight seeing the hold began the count. No matter how hard Monoma struggled, Kirishima would not let go. The blonde boy was gritting his teeth trying to get free.

"And 10! Kirishima wins!"

(End OST)

Monoma's heart skipped a beat. He lost. He couldn't believe it. Kirishima let go and saw how distraught his opponent was over his soon started to berate himself out loud.

"1-B was supposed to be greater than 1-A… how could I be s-"

"Dude, you gave me a hell of a fight!" Shouted Kirishima as he offers Monoma a hand.

"W-Wait, wha?" Monoma said, clearly surprised.

"You gave me a hell of a match. I really hope that if we spar again, you get stronger." Kirishima still had his hand out hoping Monoma would take it.

With a teary smile, Monoma took the hand and stood up. "I'll return the favor!"

"In a surprising show of sportsmanship, Monoma accepts the handshake!" Proclaimed Mic.

Both boys walk off the arena as they headed to the exit.

1-A Stands

Izuku had just got back from the medical wing with Ochako following behind him. After getter cleared by Recovery Girl, Ochako was good to return to her friends.

"We're back." Said Ochako as everyone saw the pair taking their seats.

"You missed a couple of matches, Midoriya," said Tokoyami.

"Yeah, you missed Kiri kicking some major butt." Commented Mina.

"Oh! Kirishima must have done well?" Remarked Izuku.

"Yea, I did more than well, Midoriya!"

Izuku jumped from his seat as Kirishima snuck up behind him grinning ear to ear.

"He actually put up more of a fight than I thought! Plus, he was smart too!" Said Kirishima as he rubbed his shoulder. Before he could say any more, the entire arena suddenly was covered in ice.

"HOLY CRAP! IN AN UPSETTING FINISH, TODOROKI FROZE SERO SOLID!" Shouted Mic. The whole arena looked like a frost-covered ice-rink except it was in the middle of Spring. Shoto stood at the center with an indifferent expression with Sero frozen up to his neck in ice.

"What... the... hell...?" Shivered Mina.

"Sero barely had a chance to respond..." muttered Momo as she made a winter coat for herself.

"W-why did you make a c-coat?" Asked Mineta as he was shaking like a leaf. Part of his hair was frozen from the cold.

"Shoto's ice is far more intense than normal, I had to make a spare one for Tsu because of her Quirk." Momo replied in a matter-of-fact tone.

Tsu was in her seat with a large coat on. She looked pretty comfortable in it and was laying back in her seat. "So warm, ribbit…" the frog girl muttered.

Before Izuku could respond he heard an announcement.

"Can Izuku Midoriya and Hitoshi Shinsou head to the waiting room."

"OH, that's my cue! Wish me luck guys!" Shouted Izuku as he made a beeline to the waiting room.

Down at the arena, Endeavor was melting the ice from his son. He grumbled how he only used one half of his quirk but kept it to himself. After about 10 minutes, the ice was cleared from the arena and the final match of the first round was on its way.

"INNNN THE LEFT CORNER, THE DARK HORSE OF GEN ED, HITOSHI SHINSOOO!"

While the crowd cheered, Aizawa gave the Gen Ed student a critical eye. '... Ah, I remember him. He didn't make it to the heroes course because he relied too much on his quirk.'

Shinsou huffs as he gets on stage.

"AND IN THE RIGHT CORNER, THE GREEN POWERHOUSE of 1-A, IZUKU MIDORIYA!"

Izuku walked up on stage and was pretty nervous about the cheering from the crowd.

"Uhhh...I wish you luck, Shinsou-san." Said Izuku.

"... you don't need to say that I know I'm unlucky." Responded Shinsou.

Izuku looked rather perplexed before Midnight gave the signal to start.

"Fight!"

Izuku dashed towards him, intending to deliver the first strike.

"So that old man's supposed to be the new teacher? Oh, joy… if anything he's probably a quack." Stated Shinsou with a smirk.

"What did you sayyyy…." Said Izuku however slowly his eyes began to dull.

"Too easy. Now go ring yourself out." Commanded Shinsou as he pointed to the other end of the arena.

Izuku nodded as he started to make his way out the ring.

"Is.. he walking towards the ring?! I mean, he's gonna ring himself out!? Even with all the hype I added?!" Exclaimed Mic not believing what he's seeing.

Aizawa watches the match as he finds Izuku's sudden behavior rather odd. He already figured out what Shinsou did to Izuku. 'Clever kid.'

In the private booths, Toshi is panicking. Why is his successor so willing to throw the fight?

'Come on kid, snap out of it!' He thought as he gripped his arm rest hard. Toshi turned to his left to see Silver with an unreadable expression. He was looking at Izuku with a critical eye.

Back in the arena, Izuku was fighting from the inside to fight off the brainwashing. 'Come on! I need to get my body back in control!'

Izuku felt something inside him burning bright.

Shinso felt about three seconds before it happened. He'd been celebrating his victory, internally of course, when the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end. His breath became erratic as the Greenette stopped his stride, a mere foot from the edge of the ring.

All was still for a moment, then Shinso barely stayed on his feet as an intense pressure crashed onto him. So great was this pressure that he missed the titanic pressure wave that erupted from Izuku.

The pressure wave soon washed over the crowd. Bit by bit, the audience was slowly losing consciousness; this included a few Pro Heroes in the stands.

Mt. Lady was trying to wake up an unconscious Death Arms with Kamui Woods. "Come on, wake up! Death, this isn't funny!" Shouted Mt. Lady as she shook her fellow hero. Death Arms' eyes were rolled to the back of his head, but he was still breathing.

In the Gen Ed stands, Hal the students were KOed while the other half were scared stiff. The only one to not be affected was Zato.

'So he also has it.' Thought Zato as he rubbed his chin.

"How the hell are you so calm, Zato?!'' asked one of Zato's classmates. He was shaking like a leaf and looked ready to have a full panic attack.

"It's a secret." Answered Zato.

"That doesn't answer anything!"

In 1-B's stand Kodai, Juzo, Shoda, and Bondo were out cold. "What h-happened!?" Asked Setsuna as she couldn't stop shaking.

"I don't know!?" exclaimed Kinoko fearfully.

In 1-A's stand, everyone was completely still and silent.

'It's that feeling again. Just like what happened at USJ. But why is it coming from Midori? Is he Silver-Sensei's secret grandchild?' Thought Shoto.

"Don't worry everyone, the intensity from the excitement must have made everyone pass out!" Announced Mic trying to calm the crowd down.

After a moment those who were unconscious soon started to stir helping ease the tension in the crowd. Mic turned off his microphone to talk to Aizawa.

"Well.. it's working... at least. Just what the hell was that, Shota?"

"I'm not entirely sure…" Answered Aizawa. "But something tells me that the old man will know exactly what just happened since he has done a similar feat in the past."

"Wait, really?! That's news to me!" Responded Mic.

"Will press more about it during the break but just finish your commentary first." Reminded Aizawa.

"Oh right."

Back at the arena, Izuku shook the cobwebs out of his head and saw Shinsou was completely still. The tired-looking boy fell to his knees. "I…forfeit…" Was all Shinsou could muster.

"A-and the winner of this Midoriya!" Announced Midnight as she was shaking off the effects from that weird wave.

Midoriya was shocked by this turn-around. He decided to walk up to Shinsou and offered him a hand. "You okay, Shinsou?" Asked Izuku.

Shinsou hesitated for a moment before taking his hand. "Uhh... yes…I didn't know your quirk was similar to mine."

"That's a new one, gonna be honest with you. But hey, you have a good Quirk." Replied Izuku.

"Uh, thanks. You're the only one that said that. And good luck against Zato."

As the 2 went off stage and to the exit. In the private booths, Toshi saw Silver smirking. "You know, don't you?" Yagi asked, knowing that Silver has an answer.

"Toshi, this kid has something that I wouldn't think anyone would have the potential to have. This kid has Haki and I believe he won't be the only one with that potential." Silver stated.

And scene. That ends the first-round matches and now it will start to pick up next chapter. Until then, stay safe.
