Chapter 22

For a change, Liv was able to wake Fitz up with her kisses. Usually, she felt his kisses from his warm lips on her bare back. If he was frisky enough, which was often, he even engulfed her breast in his mouth only to watch her eyes open in weakness.

This morning it was different. She held her body so close to his after his revelation last night. She remembers falling asleep wrapped tightly in his arms. At times she woke up with chills thinking of the man she loves in a darkened, lonely hotel room, with a gun to his head. Her eyes blinked open, not once or even twice, she could easily say more than three times.

Each time, she wrapped up closer to him so grateful she had him in her life. She couldn't ever go back to the emptiness, the loneliness she was feeling when she moved to the city. Heck she even felt the loneliness and emptiness in LA when she was with Russel. So when she realized it was only a dream, she comforted him some more, not that he needed it, but it gave Liv a sense of comfort, and took away the numb of her body after he told her.

Now, she was awake at his ungodly hour of five a.m. anticipating the day ahead and looking forward to ringing in the new year in the warm weather while it was still theirs to savor in. She looked up the weather in that tiny town of Rockton where the Inn was located. It was going to be 15 degrees with a wind chill making it seem like 5 below. She was going to have her way with him on this last day of warm weather and of the year.

"Livvie," his breathless body came alive. "Isn't it still early?" He felt his erection immediately as her body angled towards his, continuing to kiss his bare chest. She was driving him mad right now.

"What's early for you, Mister? Thought time never bothered you." Her hand went down the band of his boxers, pushing them down slightly as her hand circled and gripped his erection. "Besides, feels like you're up anyway."

Fitz's head arched back when her hand touched him, her touch did wonders to his body and he heard himself moan, a small moan, but this was role reversal at its finest and he wasn't going to complain.

With her hand still stroking him and Fitz helping a bit by sliding his boxers off completely, Liv lifted her head watching him. "You liking this?"

His hand was now resting on her bare back, she had no idea in about five point two seconds, he was going to grab her and dive the very erection she was stroking right into her. She thought she had the upper hand right now, let her think that. Fitz smirked, "for the time being."

"Oh yeah?", her thumb circled the top, feeling his pre cum and she could feel herself, how wet she was. He always did this to her, no matter how much she tried to weaken him, she brought herself to the same weakness. This is what this man does to her. He turns her on just by her seeing him weak with sexual desire.

She closed her eyes, licked her lips, and said in a barely able to whisper voice, "Fuck Fitz."

That was his cue, her defenses dropped, and he nudged his knee, rolling her over completely to her back. His lips crashed on to hers and even though she tried to speak, it was useless, as his tongue circled in her mouth.

Liv began to see stars as his fingers first felt around to feel how wet she made herself. He moved his fingers and replaced it with his rock hard cock. Liv would swear it was harder than when her hand was on it five seconds ago. With one powerful thrust, his lips still buried on hers, he pushed himself into her, as his body met hers. He let the kiss go and the deep breathing come from Olivia told him all he needed to know, she was so close.

"That didn't take long, did it Ms. Pope?", he whispered in her ear, as her head turned to her left and her hands pulled at his curls.

"I. thought. I. had. You. Right. Where….." Liv couldn't finish his pounding was relentless and his tongue was now engulfed over her left breast, and he was sucking, hard. Nibbling away, like he loved to do.

His head suddenly went upright as Liv's knees both bent up and he grabbed one, looking at her. "Kissing my chest, grabbing me, what did you think…" and his body stopped as hers shivered with the orgasm he caused her.

He went down to the crook of her neck, and knowing how weak she was he placed his hand on her shoulder. Liv thought his body stopped in anticipation of the orgasm he was about to have. Wrong. He turned her body over and she was flat on her stomach, having no strength.

That didn't stop Fitz. His hand went along that flat stomach as he lifted it off the bed and positioned his cock once again at her entrance. She was, this time, so wet, and he glided in, his hand still on her shoulder, his other now on her hip, pushing her into his body, watching him go in and out of her as she struggled to stay positioned.

"So fucking hot, Livvie, so hot." She felt him grip her hip a bit tighter. Perhaps this would be their first love making bruises, because he was determined, then suddenly, she felt his liquid, as he gave a few final pumps and rested his head on her back.

"Feeling you raw is the best thing, I am so sorry I waited so long." Those were his first words as they both took a few minutes to catch their breath.

Liv could only give a laughing sigh, as she was not expecting that early morning sex. "I need a shower," was all she could say.

"Go on, I wish I could take one with you, but I'll wait until you're done in case Noelle wakes up." He went to the bathroom to clean up a bit and met her at the doorway, taking her naked body in his arms.

"What made you wake me up like that you think you could get away with it?" He kissed her forehead, pushing back some of her hair.

She rested her forehead on his shoulder. "I was in and out of sleep, thinking about what you told me, thinking of the holidays coming to an end, and thinking of our future together."

He rested his head on her hers, wrapping his arms around her. "I am fine Liv. You and Noelle in my life give me more than enough reason to live. The holiday decorations may go away, but we'll always have surprises and the spirit with our family of three, and I look forward to the future together with you. That starts tonight, because at midnight, I plan to be right where I love to be."

"Oh yeah?", Liv asked pulling back and grabbing her bathrobe. "Where is that?"

"Inside you." He said as he walked away towards the bed. "Make sure you're beach ready when I get in the shower", he said casually as if those words just didn't wake Liv's body up all over again.

"Get into a cold shower, for fuck's sake." Liv said to herself out loud as she went into the bathroom.

Arriving a few hours later, not far from the yacht to a very luxurious and spacious beach house located right on the shore of St Maarten, Liv looked around. "This is what you say is simple?"

Outside there was a private pool, and just beyond the pool, a private beach with white sand for miles and clear, crystal blue water. "Fitz, this place is gorgeous." Liv had hold of Noelle's hand and she looked down at her.

Liv realized Noelle wasn't tall enough to see the water and Noelle met Liv's eyes, squeezing her UNI.

"Ovivia" Noelle paused. "Mommy", she giggled. "I see water too?" Liv picked her up and snuggled her nose to Noelle's temple.

"You sure can." Liv watched with Noelle as the waves crashed in. "We'll go build a sandcastle in a few minutes."

"Swim?" Noelle asked.

"Yes, and swim too." Liv put her down as Fitz brought in the last of the bags.

He walked over to Liv and Noelle and gave Noelle a small kiss on her head. "I have your shells bag." He held up one pink and one purple mesh bag. "No Uni on the beach though."

"Ok daddy." Noelle turned her head back to looking at the water.

Fitz gave Liv a kiss on her neck. "It's beautiful Fitz."

"It sure is," he said, looking at both his girls, not the water Liv was talking about.

"Ovivia get shells?" Noelle looked at her.

"A whole bunch of shells." Liv said.

"Yay." Noelle jumped down and waited outside on the lounge chair with her bags. UNI was snuggled up in the chair next to her under a blanket that was there. "You stay here." Noelle instructed UNI. "Daddy said no beach."

"I still cannot believe it's December 31st and I am lying on a beach in 90 degree weather. Something is off in the world." Fitz squinted with one eye down and watched Noelle pack sand into a pail. Liv had just finished rubbing the last of the sunblock onto his bronze body.

She had to stop him a few times as he was very distracted putting the sunblock onto Liv. "Stop Mister, your daughter is right there."

"Focused on the sand. Let me go get her fifty more pails to fill up."

Liv swatted at him, as he finished up and they could take some down time on the beach. "You are shameless."

Olivia turned her attention from the crystal clear blue beach and turned to Fitz now. Shading her eyes with her hand above her brow she smiled. "I think it's called love. Nothing is off at all. I am so happy you planned all of this." She reached his hand and put it to her mouth giving it a kiss. "Besides aren't we going to be in sub zero temperatures in one more day."

"We sure are, I can't wait." Fitz jumped up and scooped up an unexpecting Noelle, who squealed with laughter. "Let's catch a wave."

Olivia sat up in the chair, watching the father and daughter interact, pure happiness and laughter filled the air with Noelle's squeals, as her and Fitz popped up from under a wave soaking wet. It was something Liv could sit and watch for hours. The pure love Noelle had for her father and the happiness Noelle brought to Fitz every day. It was just so hard to explain, yet so easy to understand.

"So much fun, daddy." Fitz had Noelle in his arms as her hands hooked around the base of his neck and they watched for the next wave. "Ovivia, come" Noelle said waving Olivia to come with them.

After a half hour of catching waves, Liv and Noelle grabbed a sunhat and went for a walk along the shore to collect seashells. The beach had so many beautiful ones it was going to be difficult for Noelle to settle on the ones she would want.

As Liv was walking away with Noelle, she noticed Fitz pick up his phone. Still fresh in her mind was the incident with Randolph and knowing Fitz, it would bother him until he had complete control of Jenkings. The white sand was shining, and Liv took Noelle's hand. "Let's find the most beautiful shells." Liv guided Noelle before she saw her daddy on the phone and it worried her.

"Boris, I want good news before I ring in the new year."

"Randolph never gave control over to Jenkings Developing." Boris said.

"Which means Randolph still owned the property, that son of bitch Jenkings knew that and he still let the poor guy blow his brains out." Fitz tossed some sand away.

"Bingo, but since you took over Randolph's things, I maneuvered a few things and guess who now owns the property?"

"Grant fucking Enterprises." Fitz said with a smile. Sometimes he liked being a ruthless bastard.

"Bingo again, Mr. Grant. I think down the line the offer you proposed, had it stayed would have been voided. Jenkings was never the rightful owner, Randolph was the one you should have been doing business with."

Fitz took a deep breath looking out into the ocean. For some reason, he had a feeling Randolph knew all this. "I don't think Randolph was in the right mind set to make any kind of deals. He was in a very dark place." Fitz said.

"So, where to go from here?" Boris asked.

"I'm going to finalize the plans with Marcus, he's going to oversee the whole project, and he's going to be the one to call Jenkings, so don't you do it. I'm looking at three complexes to be built, villa style. All affordable housing and made available first to the workers on the island living in mud huts right now. Call the villas "Randolph's Housing". You and Marcus discuss financial." Fitz paused. "Good work Boris, I appreciate your diligence on this, take a break, and have a good New Year. You'll hear from Marcus in the coming days."

'Yes sir, and it's always a pleasure to do business with you. I'm glad Jenkings isn't making profit from this. He's an evil man." With that, Boris hung up and let Fitz get back to his family.

"Daddy, look!", Noelle came over holding up her bag filled to rim with shells. "So pretty, right?" She began taking one shell out at a time and instead of going back in the bag, she casually rested them on Fitz's chest after she described each one.

"Ovivia heart." Noelle held up the shell she was describing as Liv finally caught up, smiling when she saw Fitz's chest filled with sand and shells. "See daddy. Ovivia love you." Noelle was holding up a scallop shell that was certainly shaped just as Noelle was describing.

"When I picked it up, I said look Noelle a heart like love." Liv said, sitting in the chair next to Fitz. "Noelle just responded like you and daddy." Liv smiled again, almost in tears.

Fitz scooped Noelle and raised her high in the air, airplane mode as he lowered her down and kissed her cheek. "Yes, a heart is love Noelle. I love you and I love Olivia, and you are cleaning all this sand off Little Miss." He swayed her high in the air as she giggled and held her shell bag tightly.

"Ok, daddy", she said in between giggles, but Fitz "flew" her over to Liv who grabbed her and sat her on the chair as they watched Fitz take off shell after shell, shaking his head.

"It's so you, Fitz." Liv said. When Fitz looked over, Liv had her hand around Noelle's waist. Noelle had lost all interest in the shells she showed Fitz and was now rummaging through Liv's bag. She was just lying back on Liv, and Fitz wished he could keep that moment forever.

While Noelle swam a bit in the pool, Fitz turned to Liv. "So, the plan is around eight o clock, we show Noelle someplace the ball has dropped already, tell her it's the new year and she has to go to bed. If she makes it until 8, that will be something."

"If I make it until 8, that would be something. You can be exhausting Mister." Liv laughed.

"Me? I believe it was you who woke me up this morning, naughty Livvie. I can't help it the tables turned." Fitz shrugged.

Noelle climbed out of the pool and was wrapped up in the bathrobe Fitz had for her as he picked her up. "New Year?" she asked.

"Soon, dinner first, then happy new year and bed." Fitz wriggled her nose with his.

After dinner that Fitz had delivered from a local seafood restaurant, a freshly bathed and very tired Noelle watched the recorded footage from London of the New Year ringing in. She was snuggled on Liv's chest, as Liv was sitting up on the couch.

Fitz was next to them, his arm across them both. He watched as Noelle put her arm around Liv's waist and said, "New Year with mommy." And rested her forehead on Liv's shoulder. She began to feel tears and looked at Liv.

"Aww, Noelle, are you sad?" Liv asked nervously, maybe she was confused with this whole mommy thing.

Noelle's tiny head shook. "No, I happy." Then her arm went around Liv as Liv pulled Noelle to her and hugged her close. "Mommy now." Noelle kept her head tucked on Liv's shoulder, as Liv rubbed her back and looked at Fitz.

"That's right, Noelle," Fitz said. "Just like a family. Olivia loves you very much." He reached over and kissed Liv's forehead, rubbing her cheek. He saw Noelle's head nod in agreement, but she stayed snuggled up in Liv's arms.

"I think she fell asleep." Liv mouthed to Fitz, who nodded. "I'll take her in." Fitz followed as they walked to Noelle's room.

Liv watched her Noelle sleep for a few moments rubbing Noelle's hair back from her forehead. "I hope we're not confusing her."

"Just the opposite. I think she's accepting you now, and it may confuse her feelings, but it's a good thing." He took Liv's hand and led her back to the living room.

For a big couch, they only took up the corner of it, waiting for the night to go on and ring in the New Year together. 'You know," Liv began, "my thinking in and out of sleep last night was how it all seems so dark without the Christmas lights all around." Liv shrugged. "I guess now Christmas will always have a special meaning for me." She looked up at him as he met her lips.

He rubbed her forearm up to her shoulder. "I understand that. Like I said this morning, the lights may be down, and the decorations are gone, but season and our special moments, they will carry on with our love. Are you looking forward to going back to the inn?"

Liv took a deep breath. "It's going to be -5 to 15 degrees there, Fitz. That's really cold. We were just sunbathing in 90 degree heat."

"I know, that was terrible, "he laughed. "Did you get a hold of Mr. Walters?"

"I emailed him. He emailed me back that the week after Christmas and New Year's is the slower than the week of Christmas and New Year's and to enjoy my week off." She smiled against his chest. "He does want me to call him though to discuss some things."

"Sounds fair."

"Have you heard anything about Russel?" Liv closed her eyes after asking, she should've let it go until after their vacation, but she was curious.

"I have, David, my lawyer, called. Russel was denied bail as a flight risk." That's all Fitz said.

Liv paused for a bit thinking of Russ sitting in a jail cell. "Because he came to New York?" Liv was confused. She pulled back so she could look at Fitz. Immediately she saw him flushed. She had angered him.

"No, Livvie, because what he was doing in that building of his that we took over was so much illegal activity. I tried to keep it from you because he was doing it when you were still out there." Fitz took a deep breath. "I'm sorry." He closed his eyes. "He was involved in money laundering, bank fraud, and embezzlement. The building was filled with violation codes. He's in jail because of that, it has nothing to do with you or me." He closed his lips, and Liv heard his teeth grind.

She put a smirk on her face as he watched her. "Your jealousy turns me on," she whispered in his ear to break the tension. "I didn't mean to bring him up, I was just curious. But continue to be jealous, because you have nothing in the world to worry about." She wrapped her arms around him bringing him in for a kiss.

"You don't play fair Olivia. I'm going to have to find something to make you jealous."

Her head tilted and she looked at him. "Oh, you do now. What, like find yourself a girlfriend on the side. Write anonymous love letters to yourself? Do tell?"

"Hmm, looks like I just have to mention something. Let's see." Fitz tapped his finger on his chin. "I think I was on the Forbes most eligible bachelor list in November, wonder if I've been removed." He glanced over at her.

She poked him, "don't you dare Mister, try to do that to me." He scooped her up and put her on his lap as she kissed him. "You are mine."

"Forever, my Estelle. Look, it's 11:58, two more minutes." He unmuted the television and they watched the footage as the fireworks went off on the island. He carried her over to the patio door. "I had this planned for us."

She looked out towards the beach, and before them over their little section was a laser light show. "I didn't want the fireworks to wake up Noelle, but I figured one last look at some colorful blinking lights with…"

Liv didn't let him finish. As he held her in his arms, she kissed him. In the glow of the lights, she too had grown to love, they kissed and watched until it ended ten minutes later. "Our last night in warm weather." Fitz put Liv down and led her to the bedroom.

"That may be true," Fitz agreed, "but the warmth of the fireplace in the Inn will be fine. Besides, I can do what I should've done when we were there." He guided Liv down to the bed now, kissing her slowly and taking her clothes off while doing it.

Her moan said it all. "Happy New Year Fitz. The best year is yet to come. I can't wait to be your wife, Salvatore."

Before she could finish speaking, Fitz's tongue had found its happy place, making Liv weak quickly as it circled her clit. Liv fell back on the bed, having her first orgasm which would be one of many through the night.

"Ovivia, mommy." Noelle was holding Kelly in her arms. "Pancakes."

Olivia blinked open one eye to a bright, sunny room. She looked at the clock, it was already 930. She couldn't remember falling asleep, but they had gone long into the night. She rubbed her forehead into the pillow and then looked at Noelle.

"Good morning, did you bring this sunshine in here with you?" Liv gave her a poke.

"No." She giggled. "Sun woke up."

"The sun did wake up. Where is daddy?" Liv noticed Noelle already dressed, her hair done in a French braid, perfectly formed.

"Daddy was making pancakes." Fitz said in the doorway. "Yours are ready Noelle and I had to hide the syrup, there's plenty on there already."

"Boo." Noelle said as she headed towards the kitchen. "Daddy's wings."

"Soon." Fitz walked to the bed. "Morning beautiful. I never thought you could fall asleep in the middle of a kiss, but here we are."

"Did I really?"

"You sure did, but I deserved it after all the dirty things we did. We leave in an hour, get ready."

Liv moaned, leaning in on his shoulder. "How did things go with the Randolph property? I forgot to ask."

"Worked in our favor. All is good. I'll call Marcus tomorrow and we'll put the next phase in motion." Fitz smiled. "Come on now, cold weather awaits."

Aboard and high in the air of the Grant Enterprises private plane, also known as "Daddy's wings," Liv and Fitz sat with Noelle on the lounger on the plane watching some Disney movie. It had Noelle's attention, but Liv was finding it difficult to keep her eyes opened.

It was going to be a long flight, and Noelle was very excited for the night ahead. "Meggy?" she jolted Liv from almost falling asleep with her sudden question.

Fitz smiled as Noelle climbed into his lap sharing his holding of her with Liv. Fitz held both of them close to him and he wouldn't change anything if he had the power.

"Only if you're sure Noelle." Meggy had talked to Fitz about Noelle spending the night and going to the toy shop with her in the morning. Meggy's four year old niece was in town and she thought Kayla would like the company. "You're ok with sleeping by Meggy tonight?"

"UNI?" Her blue eyes wide with curiosity as they looked back from Fitz to Liv.

"Of course UNI, but you have to be careful." Fitz assured her.

"Like mommy, I careful." She reached over and gave Liv a kiss on the cheek and jumped down. She left the two adults watching a princess singing on the big screen television as Noelle went to the back to play with Kelly and Jilly and tell them the good news about Meggy.

Liv sat up a bit recharged now and caressed Fitz's face. "I know what this means." Liv moaned.

"Good, then we're on the same page. I like that." He got her lips hooked on his and his hand went up her shirt finding her smooth breast to feel around. He pinched the nipple as her eyes closed and her head fell weakly to his shoulder.

"Fireplace, dinner, love break, shower, dessert, love break, this is a show I can see on repeat." Fitz kissed her head. "All while the frigid cold stays outside our door and I keep you warm. After the second love break, maybe we'll make it to the second floor and utilize the bed." His eyebrows went up and down as Liv looked at him shaking her head.

"Sir, twenty minutes for landing." The pilot had come over in the PA and informed them to get into landing mode. Liv secured Noelle in her seat along with Kelly and Jilly in their own seats, as Fitz cleared up the lunch mess.

As soon as they touched ground, Liv could feel the difference in temperature. "Sir we are ten miles outside of Rockton, it's currently ten degrees and there is a forecast of snow overnight. Expected accumulation is 10 inches with a possibility of more." The pilot had greeted them as they were exiting and the car was waiting for them.

Liv thought about writing a thank you letter to the inventor of heated seats in cars as she was already shivering from the cold. She looked at Noelle, all bundled up in her Unicorn snow jumper she had received when they visited here the first time.

She had on her mittens that started this whole love and her head was covered with a hood and a knitted hat underneath. On the front of the hat was Noelle's name in cursive with rainbow letters and a unicorn below it. Liv was already missing seeing all of her as she had to keep covered to stay warm.

Snuggling up to Fitz to steal his body's warmth, Liv said "I'm going to miss the village being set up in the room." She shrugged remembering when it brought her back to her childhood and thoughts of Christmas time with her mother.

"I know." Fitz said as he wrapped her closer.

"At the Inn, Jonah, the desk manager greeted them and met Liv for the first time. "Pleasure to meet you Ms. Pope, I've heard wonderful things about you. Congratulations on your engagement." He turned to Fitz. "Sir, your room is all set up and Meggy is over there."

Meggy turned and saw them enter and she reached out for her niece's hand. "Come on Kayla, come meet Noelle."

Kayla was a brown eyed brown haired beautiful little girl, not much taller than Noelle. "Hi, I'm Kayla. Is that your doll?"

Noelle nodded holding Jilly out for Kayla to take and then she looked at Liv who handed Kelly to her. "I Noelle, that Jilly."

Kayla looked up from the doll Noelle had handed to her and looked at Liv and Fitz. "That mommy and daddy?" Kayla asked.

Noelle put a very big smile on her face, nodding her head. "Mommy Ovivia and daddy Fitz.", she watched as Liv turned to Fitz smiling and they both went down to give her hug. Fitz held her a bit closer, letting her go so easily wasn't getting any easier for him.

"You listen to Meggy ok, and have a good time playing with Kayla. I love you."

"I love you daddy." Noelle walked away to get Kayla's coat as Fitz talked to Meggy.

'If it's bad tomorrow with the snow, don't worry, Mr. Grant, she can stay two nights."

"Here's her bag, everything's in there. Just watch that unicorn. If she loses that, my life as a dad will be questioned."

"I will," Meggy said grabbing the bag. She looked at Liv and pulled her in for a hug. "Congratulations. I am so happy, the whole town is so happy for the two of you."

With that, the lobby was quiet and Fitz looked at Olivia. "Shall we go?"

Liv hugged herself, rubbing her arms. "Let's get the fire going, I'm freezing Fitz. This isn't fair. 10 hours ago we were in 90 degree heat."

"And now we're not, don't worry, I'll get your body heat up enough to keep you warm." He opened the door and to Liv's surprise not one thing had changed, it was still fully decorated from the time they last left.

She turned to him with a shocked look on her face. "You kept Christmas here for us."

He closed the door, pushing her up against it with his body. He gave her a heartwarming kiss and said, "I sure did. I missed being inside, making love to you here and I wanted it exactly how we left it so we get the full experience."

"What smells so good?"

"Well, I did put on Creed." Fitz smiled.

"Not you, food."

"Dinner awaits us in the oven, and look." Fitz pointed to the fireplace already burning. "I wanted to waste no time. "In fact forget the dinner for now." He swiftly lifted her shirt off, as soon as her coat was off, and Liv was pinned against the wall, his mouth finding her breast, licking, sucking, feeling, all making her weak as the fell to the plush, soft rug she remembered so well.

Her pants came off as quickly as her shirt did, and Fitz didn't give her time to breathe as he pulled her from the hips right to his mouth. It was an explosion Liv was not expecting as her eyes shut tightly, soft tongue circling her clit, heavy breathing causing her chest to rise and fall, and dizziness from the orgasm coming her way momentarily from the man she loves in a place she had grown to love.

"Ah, Fitz, uh, fuck." Liv turned to the warmth of the fire, as her body fell weak and within ten minutes of being in the room at the Inn, Liv had her first orgasm.

"Tastes so fucking good." Fitz lifted his head, licked her stomach, up to her breast as he circled the nipple, and saw Liv just looking lovingly at him. "I love you Livvie."

His body on top of her, they were chest to bare chest, and within moments from coming down from her last pleasure, Fitz was already inside her. "I couldn't wait for this, here in this room, where I wouldn't do this last time."

Her hands rubbed up and down her back as she felt him take it slowly, pumping in, then out, tongue circling her neck. His back muscles moving in rhythm with his pumping into her body. His face now took in the same warmth from the fire Liv did several minutes ago as they came together, something they should have done weeks ago in this same room.

"You hungry?" Fitz asked as he held her in his arms. For being frigid outside, they both didn't mind lying naked near the blazing fire.

"Maybe after a shower, we can eat."

"No argument here." Fitz looked over at the table where Liv's phone was buzzing. "Buzzing," he got up to get the phone for her.

"Who is it?" Liv asked. Fitz looked down at the display.

"Dr. Lynch? Who is that? It's a message though, not a call." Liv took the phone from him and sat up.

"Dr. Lynch is my OB/GYN. It's a reminder for my birth control." Liv looked at the display. "She's reminding me I have to go in next week."

"Go in for what? I thought it was just pop a pill and go on." Fitz shrugged.

"I get the shots." Liv watched as Fitz sat next to her. "Which are 96% effective if I get it every three months." She poked him.

Liv looked at him, his eyes dancing with hers. "And if you don't get the shot."

"Then, you become a daddy again, unless you want to stop with your raw sex and put those bad boys on again." Liv pointed to the condom box in her bag as she got up heading to the bathroom.

Fitz watched Liv get up then he looked back down at the display when the phone began to buzz again. "I've scheduled you for January 13 at 2pm for your next shot. See you then, Happy New Year."

Liv froze on her way up the stairs and turned to Fitz. "Fitz."

Fitz dropped the phone thinking she read his thoughts to delete the message, but he didn't, he wouldn't invade her privacy like that, it had to be her choice. He looked over at her standing by the village.

"You kept this up." Liv's hand went over the enclosed case it was now in.

He wrapped his arms around his gorgeous fiancé. "I sure did. What you did for me with that painting of my father's store, this is a thank you. I've instructed the staff to keep it up, enclosed, all year long."

Liv turned and hugged him. "I love you so much Fitz, sometimes you make my heart hurt with love." Her head rested on his chest.

"We'll go walking tomorrow in the snow. There is something I want to show you."

Liv shivered at the thought of walking in a potential blizzard, but how could she say no. "Ok." She continued to hug him, buried in his warm chest.

Please, Liv, don't take the shot. Fitz closed his eyes hugging her back but did not yet get the courage to say those words out loud. He was so afraid a month ago about becoming a father again. He loved Olivia with more love than his heart could give and would do anything to share a child with her, a sibling for Noelle, but it was still so early in their relationship. "Come on, let me wash you down so we can get dinner and our night started."

As they walked to the bathroom, Liv looked at him, "if the night hasn't started yet, what do you call what we just did over there?"

"The appetizer." He turned on the water, and Liv took a tired moan, having to give in to this insatiable man.
