Katsuki growled as his hands shook with anger and rage. Now that All Might was going to let him keep fighting, he let his anger slowly take over, and as he did, the aura around his body started becoming even more sun-like and his already properly built physique started bulking more and more as the seconds passed.
And on top of that, his eyes seemed to be slowly starting to change.
If one looked closely, they would see what looked like gold triskelions taking the place of his irises.
"You. Are. DEAD!" The boy yelled as he blasted towards the Nomu, his fist raised to destroy the golem.
It took the blow, of course, but it was quickly followed up by All Might landing a powerful haymaker. The open brained creature shrieked and tried to retaliate, but its new blindness made that something almost impossible, so the attack went wide.
Dodging the desperate swings of the beast, Katsuki then started gathering the heat of his explosions into his palm and then started sending blast after blast at the bargain store frankenstein, but it didn't seem to cause much obvious damage besides several third degree burns.
The No. 1 Hero was the only one that seemed to be doing anything major, but it was hard to tell because of the regeneration. The only signs the angry Pomeranian blonde could see were the occasional flinches the lab grown hulk gave off. It felt like it wasn't enough, however.
"Got you!" All Might exclaimed as he grabbed Nomu's midsection and bent backwards. "Now to pin you down!" He yelled as he attempted to supplex the creature into the concrete.
Things took a nosedive, however, when Kurogiri used the opportunity to make a portal where the Nomu would've been slammed, allowing it to grip All Might's torso and hold him there. This ended up drawing blood, since the claws dug into his skin.
'Damn it! This guy somehow found my weak spot!' The man thought as he grit his teeth in pain.
"All Might!" Katsuki exclaimed in panic as he nailed Tomura in the stomach with a sun powered punch. "Get out of my way!" He yelled at the villain, decking him in the face.
"Normally I wouldn't want blood and viscera in my warp gate. But I'll make an exception for you." Kurogiri growled. "Since you're too fast to see with the human eye, Nomu had to restrain you. And once he pulls you through–I'll squeeze the gate shut!" He added.
"HEY, ASSHOLE!" Katsuki barked, prompting Kurogiri to turn and see that the explosive boy was holding Tomura by the neck. "I wouldn't even try to cut him in half, if I were you! If you even try it, I'll blow your precious charge's head to pieces!" He growled, blasting the ground next to the hand villain's head to prove the point.
"Grrrr! Get off me you little–AAAAAHHHH!" Tomura growled before he yelled as his hand got burned by Katsuki as he grabbed the man's wrist and started channeling the power inside him to his palms.
"Don't move! You try anything and I'll blow your ass up so bad that they'll have to piece you back together for weeks!" The pomeranian growled.
'That power–! Could it be a power of the Goddess race from the legends?!' All Might gasped mentally as he tried to get free from Nomu's grip.
Like many old stories and legends, the Goddess race was said to be at the top of the chain of the old races from thousands of years ago. They were said to be so powerful that they could wipe entire kingdoms and civilizations from existence if they wished. At an undetermined point, however, they vanished and haven't been seen since.
And it seemed that Katsuki was possibly descended from them.
However, before Kurogiri could respond to this, a wave of ice went straight for Nomu and froze him solid on one side, allowing the Symbol of Peace to break his grip.
The source was revealed to be Shoto, who came running with Ochako in tow. "Some of your untrained thugs told me your plan. You villains won't kill the Symbol of Peace. Not a chance." He stated.
Ochako yelled as she hurled a boulder at Kurogiri, knocking him in his neck armor, causing him to stagger and make him spit out Nomu, and revealing his physical body–allowing Kirishima to come flying in and nail him in the face with a hardened fist.
"You'll pay for what you've done!" He growled as he pinned the black and purple villain to the ground.
"You guys." Katsuki said in surprise as he looked at the others.
"Don't worry, Bakugo, the others are taking care of Midoriya right now, she's in good hands." Kirishima assured him with a smile.
"That is one of the best things I've heard all day." The descendant of the Goddess race sighed in relief. "Now as for you." He snarled, glaring down at Tomura.
"Nomu!" Shigaraki yelled as the beast pulled itself from the ground, its frozen side crumbling to the ground as it fumbled around.
As the golem regrew its lost flesh and bone, it rushed to its master's call. Katsuki saw this, but couldn't react in time to stop it.
'Shit!' He cursed mentally, and right as he braced for a punch, he suddenly found himself next to Kirishima, much to his confusion.
"What the-?" The blonde questioned as he looked around, and saw that the blow was taken by All Might, who was breathing heavily from the ordeal.
"Whoa, Bakugo! I didn't know you could move that fast!" Ochako exclaimed.
"No I didn't, you idiot, All Might moved me!" The boy retorted.
"Hey man, what's going on with you? You look different from before." Kirishima questioned as All Might started to gather himself.
"No clue. All I know is that I'm pissed, and something in me woke up." Katsuki told him, standing up straight and revealed that he had grown into the six foot range in height.
"Seems more than that to me…" The redhead mused.
Back with All Might, meanwhile…
"These are kids, and you didn't hold back?!" The hero yelled at Shigaraki.
"I didn't have much choice. They were threatening us. Besides, you heroes are always okay with violent acts that's for the sake of others." The man retorted. "They aren't angels, you know. That plain looking one, the one with the hammer? She tried to beat my head in earlier. What kind of hero does that? You know what I think, All Might? You're not the Symbol of Peace. You're just a government instrument of violence. And violence only breeds more violence." He added.
"That is the richest load of bullshit I've ever heard!" Katsuki exclaimed, unable to hold back a laugh. "You? Acting righteous? What a joke! You're not fooling anybody! You came here with an army of bootleg minions, scattered us to try and kill us and didn't hesitate to brutalize some of us! You're not trying to be good, you just want to hurt people!" He ranted, his amusement melting back into anger.
"... Okay, fine, you got me. I do want to hurt people." Tomura admitted with a deranged chuckle.
"Props for being self aware, dickhead." Katsuki growled as he flexed his hand, and sparked explosions–which all gathered into something that shocked Shoto and Kirishima.
It was a small sun! (One that was,about the size of a grapefruit).
"Incredible…!" All Might breathed in awe before he noticed something. 'Wait… Did the Sunshine Blessing choose young Bakugo as well?!' He thought as recognition flared in his mind once more.
There were only two people in ancient times that held such a thing. One was Escanor, the Lion Sin of Pride, and Gawain the Knight of Pestilence.
Which meant that Katsuki Bakugo was el numero tres. This was one of the most significant discoveries of the quirk age.
"I'll send that damned bootleg Frankenstein flying!" The angry teen roared before he threw the sun at the golem. "CRUEL SUN!" He thundered as the miniature stare grew to the size of a boulder, forcing All Might to leap out of the way.
The attack made contact with the Nomu, who tried and failed miserably to hold its ground and was sent flying. Katsuki grunted as he made the star fly out of the USJ, the golem screeching the whole way before it vanished into the distance with a twinkle.
"Now, time to deal with you." Katsuki growled as he rushed the two remaining villains in their confusion and started punching Shigaraki several times forcing him to retaliate in kind, the fight becoming a bit of a fisticuff brawl. Kurogiri tried to get free, but Kirishima came in and punched his collar piece again and grabbed it, forcing him to freeze.
"Don't even try it." He snapped.
Back with the two Fighters, Katsuki was punching Tomura with every bit of power he had, blow after blow, uptown and downtown, roundhouse and southpaw, the handy man using his hands to decay him with every impact of his own.
Katuski barely felt his flesh being decayed in his anger fueled adrenaline rush however.
"DIE, MOTHERFUCKER!" He roared as he nailed the decay user in the face, knocking the hand on it off.
The man tumbled to the ground as the shockwave from the blow caused Kirishima to jump back to avoid getting blasted with a sun flash from the brawl.
"Oh… He was too strong, too fast, father. I wasn't expecting the kids to be that powerful!" Tomura said frantically as he put the hand back on.
'Great. He's also insane, though in hindsight, I should've seen that coming.' Katsuki thought as he clenched his fists.
However, before the fight could continue, Kurogiri's warpgate intercepted a Cruel Sun and several bullets that were heading straight for Shigaraki–and sent them back at Katsuki and All Might, the bullets hitting the former and the sun hitting the latter.
"Shit!" Katsuki cursed as the bullets tore into him.
"GAH! That's gonna leave a burn!" All Might hissed as he was hit by the miniature star.
"Everyone! Your class rep has returned!" Iida exclaimed. "I've done my duty, and I have reinforcements!" He added. True to form, the entire faculty of UA had arrived.
The newly arrived heroes immediately got to work, starting with Snipe the western cowboy hero firing a bullet at the Mountain Zone, nailing a villain that was holding Kaminari hostage.
"Kaminari!" Jiro exclaimed as she caught the boy before he could hit the ground. "You alright man?" She asked as he came to.
"Uh… Yeah." He nodded looking up at her before his cheeks turned pink. "Oh… guess that means that I owe you dinner, doesn't it?" He chuckled, causing the rocker girl to blush while Momo giggled.
Meanwhile, Present Mic took a deep breath before screaming, his quirk sending a soundwave at a group of villains and knocking them out.
"Dammit! Now it's game over for real! We need to leave, now!" Shigaraki yelled.
"Right!" Kurogiri nodded as they started retreating. Katsuki glared at the spot they were in even as he felt his power leave him for the time being, his features returning to normal.
"I'll get them…!" He growled before he fell over. "Fuck me… I think I overdid it…" He groaned.
"Rest now, young Bakugo. You've done far more than even I expected." All Might told him as he nursed his burns.
"I… Izumi… I have… to get… to Izumi." The blonde told the man as he struggled to get to his feet, only for his legs to buckle seconds later.
"Here, bro. I'll get you to her." Kirishima said as he put one of Katsuki's arms around his shoulder and carried him to Izumi.
"Thanks. Kirishima." The boy panted, getting a smile from the redhead as Shoto and Ochako followed.
"Hey, no problem man, it's the least I can do." He smiled.
This gave All Might the window he needed to relax and slip out of his muscle form as Cementoss raised a cement wall to obstruct their view.
'Young Bakugo is not only a descendant of the Goddess Race, but also has Sunshine. Looks like the new Sin of Pride has surfaced.' The Symbol of Peace thought with a smile. "Thanks Cementos." He added.
"My pleasure, All Might." The cement hero smiled.
(Later)
"Well my my my." Snipe hummed as he looked at the right mess that the USJ had become.
"I can't believe that they got the drop on us." Midnight cursed. "And let them escape after everything they did here."
"They did catch us by surprise, but now we need to make sure our students are okay." Nezu nodded, looking at the students gathered at the entrance, which included Katsuki who was cradling Izumi in his arms.
"This is definitely going to leave some mental scars for them. Some more than most." Present Mic sighed.
"It's a travesty indeed." Vlad King nodded.
(Elsewhere)
In an abandoned bar, Tomura and Kurogiri reappeared, and the hand villain was fuming at the abject failure test their assault on UA had become.
"We failed, completely!" He yelled. "And you were wrong, master, so wrong! The Symbol of Peace wasn't weakened at all! He even had back up! Urg!" He added.
"That can't be right. He should have been weakened over the past five years." A man who sounded ancient and powerful muttered in confusion.
"What about his backup? How powerful were they?" Another voice interjected.
"It was a child that somehow had the power to create miniature suns. I don't know if it's a quirk or not since I've never seen anything like it." Kurogiri supplied.
"Miniature suns you say? Master, does that sound familiar at all?" The second voice asked.
"Could that be…? No, impossible." The first dismissed. "It matters not. Listen closely, Tomura, you must not be discouraged. You will gather the villainous elite together, so I am counting on you." He added.
"I won't fail you, master." Tomura replied with a nod.
(Elsewhere)
Back at UA, Naomasa Tsukauchi, a detective was doing a headcount of the kids to assess injuries.
"Eighteen. Looks like you all got away unscathed except for the boy and girl from earlier." He noted.
"Hey, Ojiro." Hagakure said, putting a hand on the tailed boy's shoulder. "I never got to thank you for helping me in the fire zone, you were really amazing back there!" She smiled.
"Thanks. I saw a couple of villains dropping for some reason. Was that you?" The blonde tailed teen asked with a smile.
"Yep! I studied a bunch of incapacitation techniques." The invisible girl chirped in reply.
"Cool. Mind if you teach me a few?" The blonde asked.
"Sure!" Tooru smiled, hugging his arm into her chest.
"So where were you sent, Ochako?" Tsu asked.
"Oh! I was in the landslide zone with Todoroki." The brunette explained.
"I froze most of the villains that tried to attack us the moment they showed up. Uraraka did manage to get the few that I somehow missed, though." The two toned teen commented.
"Sounds like you two made quite the power couple." Mina smirked, hands on her hips.
"Mina!" Ochako exclaimed as Aoyama was being his eccentric self, before Tsukauchi approached them.
"We should get these students to the campus, we don't need to question them right now." He told the police.
"Yes, sir!" One of the officers saluted.
"Excuse me, detective." Tsu croaked. "What about Mr. Aizawa?" She asked.
"He has several broken bones and his orbital floor was almost completely destroyed. The doctors don't know if his vision will be impaired." The man explained.
"And Thirteen?" Mina asked.
"Luckily she only has some lacerations to the back." He nodded.
"Wait, what about Izumi?!" Ochako exclaimed in worry.
"Yes! How is Midoriya?" Iida added.
"She has broken arms and legs and some light skull fracturing, but thanks to her being naturally sturdy and tough to begin with, it's nowhere near bad enough that she'll be crippled." The detective told them, much to their relief. "Recovery Girl should be able to help her just fine. Same with All Might." He added.
"Phew." The students all sighed in relief.
"Now, let's get you back to class." Tsukauchi told them before turning to a neko officer. "Sonta, I have some business in the nurse's office, so I'm leaving this to you." He told the cat man as the students were all directed to a bus, except for Katsuki and Izumi, who were loaded up into ambulances so they could be rushed to the infirmary.
(Later)
-UA Infirmary-
A few hours later, All Might, Izumi and Katsuki were laying in their own beds in the infirmary after a bit of surgery, or a lot, in Izumi's case.
This had inadvertently informed Katsuki of All Might's condition, though if the boy was honest, it did explain a lot of weird things about how All Might had been acting all week.
"I can't be sure, but I think I shortened my time limit again with that fight." All Might sighed.
"... Sorry." The blonde sighed.
"I made things worse, didn't I?" Izumi added, sounding guilty. Her arms and legs were currently in casts following her surgery.
"No, it's not your fault. It's been happening for a while now." The No. 1 Hero sighed as he looked out the window.
"I wish it wasn't happening at all." The pomeranian blonde commented from his bed.
"You helped me with fighting those guys, it could have gone very poorly, just remember that." The blonde told him.
It was then that Tsukauchi entered the room.
"Huh?" Katsuki questioned, still too tired to move.
"Wait, who's that?" Izumi asked.
"Naomasa Tsukauchi. Don't worry, he also knows." The gaunt looking man told the two teens.
"Yes. I'd like to see if you guys can tell me anything related to the USJ attack." The detective nodded in reply.
"Not much to say, the guys wanted to kill All Might and the strongest one of the bunch beat the crap out of us." Katsuki stated.
"Yeah." Izumi nodded.
"So nothing new. Well it was worth a shot." Tsukaucki sighed as he left, leaving the three alone.
"Take care of yourself, Tsukauchi." The Symbol of Peace called after the man left.
A bit more time passed before Katsuki finally felt well enough to sit back up, his hand brushing against Izumi's casted hand.
This caused the girl to smile as she looked at him. "Even after all these years, I can't believe you still call me your precious little Izumi." She giggled at the blonde's expense.
"Y-You heard that?" He asked with a light stutter.
"There were times during the attack that I came to briefly, and I managed to hear you calling me yours." The verdette told him.
"I… I couldn't help it. I felt ready to rip those bastards apart for what they did to you." Katsuki admitted with a sigh. "It hurts, you know, seeing you in that state." He added, rubbing her fingers.
Before anything else could be said, Izumi took this moment of silence to kiss the pomeranian on the lips, shocking him as she pushed him in the process.
She must've been ignoring the pain or there wasn't much of that to feel (hard to tell) because she also pulled him into her hospital bed, never breaking the liplock. Katsuki chose this moment to get over his shock and kiss back, fireworks going off in his head as he kept making out with her.
'Holy shit, it's happening!' The two thought as they realized that their dreams were basically true now.
All Might, meanwhile, could only shake his head. He was glad that his pupil was finally able to make the move she'd been meaning to.
(Timeskip)
UA had decided to let those who were injured in the USJ attack to have a couple weeks off of school. Right now it was five days into the first week and Izumi's casts were off now, leaving her legs and arms in bandages and leaving her with a bit of a limp.
Inko had nearly flooded the apartment with tears when she found out what had happened to her baby girl, and had almost gone through with it when she came back home with bandages on her arms and legs. Katsuki made sure to come by when he could and check up on her, make sure she was doing okay.
The Serpent Sin didn't object to her boyfriend (she was still getting used to that) making sure she wasn't having a hard time with anything, nor him sticking around for a few hours to chat.
On one of these such visits, Inko was out of the house with the rest of the neighborhood moms, leaving Izumi and Katsuki alone together. Not that they minded of course.
Right now the Pomeranian was in the process of making the viridian haired girl a special spicy Katsudon dish for lunch, which happened to be her favorite.
"Okay, just a bit more of that… and… done!" He said to himself as he finished making the dish for his envy fueled girlfriend. Then he set it up for his girlfriend to eat in a bowl and brought it to her.
It looked like a normal Katsudon dish. A pork cutlet beaded and covered in panko that was cooked on a bed of scrambled eggs, but this one had a dark red chili glaze on it made out of various kinds of Asian chilis and Sakura honey with a bit of sake.
"Oh man! This looks so good!" The Jotun girl gasped in surprise as she took a deep breath, the smell causing her mouth to water and eyes to sparkle "And it smells even better!" She added.
"Glad to see my cooking can get that reaction out of you." The new Sin of Pride chuckled. "Go on, dig in. I wanna see how you react to the taste." He urged as he picked up his own dish that he made ahead of time, both having a bowl of rice to themselves.
"No need to tell me twice!" Izumi nodded as she clapped her hands together. "Itadakimasu!" She smiled as she dug in, the spice hitting her first, then the crunch and the panko crust, the softness of the egg, the nuttiness from the sesame/peanut oil blend Katsuki had used, and then lastly the juicy and succulent umami flavor of the pork lingered in her mouth as she swallowed. "So good~!" She exclaimed.
"I knew you'd love it." The bomber chuckled before looking thoughtful. "Then again, you are a katsudon simp, aren't you?" He mused jokingly.
"Bite me!" The girl snapped at him, puffing out her cheeks indignantly. "And don't make me eat yours!" She added, sending a look of hunger at Katsuki's katsudon.
"Do you want me to spank you again?" He warned her.
"Try me!" The Serpent SIn hissed back. There was a beat of silence before they burst out laughing. "What even was that?!" The verdette laughed.
"I don't know, but I loved it anyway!" Katsuki exclaimed with a laugh in reply.
The two quickly finished eating their food and cleaned the dishes, Izumi finally able to remove her bandages for the time being before she had to replace them the next day.
This revealed that her arms and legs now had some light scarring, and her right hand was ever so slightly busted up.
Katsuki looked at this as they finished the dishes and took her hand in his, before he kissed it, wrist to knuckles and then knuckles on fingers, and started sucking on her fingers a bit, causing the girl to moan as he picked her up and set her on the counter.
Then the red eyed Lion Sin kissed her on the lips, causing Izumi to blush before she felt his tongue start exploring her mouth, making her blush grow.
