Hello! I'm so excited to be back to post this!
If you arrived here then you already know that this fanfic is made of several chapters about the Generation of Miracles and the female characters I created for them.
This chapter is a bonus and I think I'll post more chapters like this when I get a good idea (you can also send me ideas btw).
Aomine and Aimi's story began in another fanfic, The proposal, which you can also check out on my profile.
Enjoy!

Extra Chapter 1
Double Date
Aomine P.O.V.
I was standing still while Sana stared at me with an unfriendly expression.
We were waiting for Aimi and Kise to return from the ice cream stand at the amusement park and I thought we could have a friendly chat in the meantime, but it didn't happen.
Despite being shorter than Aimi, Sana had an incredible presence when she was angry and I was kind of afraid of make the wrong move and she would end up ripping my head off because of it, but I wouldn't tell anyone that.
She was still mad at me for making Kise cry after that match, and I couldn't blame her, I guess I hadn't forgiven myself for that either. So now every time he asked me to do something I said yes.
Including coming to this double date.
- We are back! - hearing Kise's voice made me feel relieved, as Sana stopped staring at me with her evil elf death glare and smiled when Kise handed her ice cream that looked like a chocolate and whipped cream monstrosity.
Apparently Sana was calm when surrounded by sweet things. I had to collect this kind of information to bargain for my life.
- I think there's a photo booth up ahead, Sanacchi, do you want to go with me?
- Again? - Sana sighed, they had spent twenty minutes in the last photo booth we found - Only if I can choose your headpiece.
Kise nodded excitedly and leaned over to kiss Sana on the cheek. She then smeared chocolate on his face. Their clothes were similar, their earrings, even the way they took photos. They matched everything, even their fake blonde hair. Being next to them was a little uncomfortable because Kise and Sana weren't shy in public and I wondered if Aimi wanted me to act more like that.
When Kise tried to kiss Sana again she dodged it. Apparently we passed near a huge poster for a Kpop group and she ran over to get a closer look.
Beside me, Aimi tried to stifle her laughter with her hands while watching Sana run.
- I bought ours, Daiki.
I tilted my head down to bite off a piece of the popsicle Aimi had bought, it was a simple, blue one that tasted like iced cotton candy. We used to buy one each, but now I liked sharing one with Aimi and that way she always had to be next to me.
Especially now that apparently every guy at school had a crush on cheerleaders. I couldn't miss Aimi's competitions or the guys from school would line up to greet her and her team. It was so damn annoying every time.
- Why do you have that angry look on your face? - Aimi asked suddenly. I hadn't noticed that my expression had changed.
- It's nothing - I shook my head, then I pulled Aimi by the waist so that she walked closer to me.
She was wearing a blue dress and long socks that went up to her thighs and sneakers. Part of her brown hair was tied with a bow of the same color. Of course Kise was the first to compliment her outfit and I remained silent like an idiot because I didn't know how to do such things.
What a disaster.
- Come here - she pulled out her cell phone to take a photo of us.
I didn't care much about photos, but I never refused her one, because Satsuki said that if I refused her then she would find someone who liked taking photos and I knew who that guy would be so...
-Daiki! - Aimi scolded me - Smile!
I ended up smiling for real this time, but out of embarrassment because she realized I was thinking too much. If she knew how insecure I was she would probably break up with me.
- Oh, look - she showed me the cell phone screen - it looks really good!
Aimi took one last bite of the popsicle before we reached Kise and Sana, they were also looking at the photos on their cell phones, as apparently Sana needed a photo with all the guys of the poster.
- Delete this one - Sana said - and this one, no, this one can stay.
She was finishing her ice cream, but when she saw me approach she made a face as if she had seen something repulsive.
- I think they have a merch shop on that side - Aimi pointed to a corner where several children with matching backpacks were coming out.
It was a perfect day in Tokyo, it wasn't too hot, not too cold, the flowers had bloomed and there was a refreshing breeze keeping us cool.
- Serious? - Sana finished the ice cream, and then held Aimi by the shoulders - I'm sorry Kise, this is a serious matter, come on Aimi!
- What? Sanacchi!
He called out to her, but Sana didn't turn around, she and Aimi walked with their arms linked and soon joined the crowd in the park.
It was funny how Sana and Aimi became friends in such a short space of time. Sometimes they went out alone or with Satsuki, which sucked, because then there was no one to give me attention.
- Come on, don't be like that - I said to Kise, who started eating the ice cream with a sad expression - let's follow them.
Kise nodded, and then he realized I was already empty-handed.
- Are you sure you don't want another ice cream, Aominecchi? - Kise asked me while devouring the extra strawberries he had gotten from the seller.
- I am fine.
- Oh, yeah, you only do things with Aimicchi now, who knew that a girl would finally put a leash on you...
- Ha ha ha, very funny, now shut up.
Kise rolled his eyes. I was glad Tetsu didn't agree to come with us today otherwise I would have had to put up with them both laughing at my face. Out of all the guys in our group I never imagined that I would be everyone's punching bag when it comes to relationships. Why did everyone seem to be better at this than me? Even freaking Murasakibara?!
As we were taller than most we were able to follow Sana and Aimi from a distance without any problems and in fact there was a huge Kpop merch shop on that side of the park. It must have been a special event or something, but some girls were leaving the store full of bags.
Sana went straight into the store, of course, but Aimi stayed behind, distracted by a stall of stuffed animals which made me nervous. Sometimes when I didn't have basketball games to watch, Aimi made me watch anime with her, about romance and that kind of thing, she always got emotional when the guy in the main couple did romantic things for the girl.
"Should I get her one?", I thought, "or should I wait for her to ask me for one? But which one would she like?".
She asked the stall worker something, but it was too noisy to hear from that distance. Aimi looked hesitant for a moment, then we watched as Sana came out of the merch shop and took Aimi inside with her.
- Dude - Kise had just finished his ice cream - you have to get her a stuffed animal!
- What? You think?
- Aominecchi, Aominecchi... - Kise shook his head - I know you like spending time alone with Aimicchi doing "whatever", but you need to know how to maintain this relationship in the long term.
- Just because you've had a lot of girlfriends doesn't make you an expert.
- You're right, but having sisters makes me an expert.
Kise patted my back.
- Cheerleaders are popular, there are many options out there, you need to show her that you are the best at it.
I didn't like the way he was talking at all, but I had to admit that there was logic to it.
- So - Kise continued - what does she like most?
- Noisy bands - I said, and then tried to think some more - bass players... There aren't many stuffed animals in her room.
I tried to pay more attention to the stall, there were lots of teddy bears, hearts, penguins, until I finally saw what caught her attention.
- That strange dog with the topknot! - I pointed to one of the stuffed animals that must be a special prize.
- That one? Are you sure? - Kise said.
- Yes! It's a Naruto thing, I'm sure!
- Then let's get it, I'll help you!
It was a game of fitting rings and we needed to get a lot of them right to win the main prizes, so Kise and I pooled what was left of our money to buy the maximum number of tries. I admit I didn't expect Kise to help me that much, but he did. For a moment it was almost as if we were those old innocent kids again.
I could score on basketball like no one else, but ring toss was different and apparently you needed to concentrate to get one right. If Kise hadn't continued to encourage me I would have given up after two kids came after us and got good prizes quickly.
Tetsu told me that I couldn't give up at the first adversity, and I would follow his advice.
- Oh my God, it's Akamaru!
Aimi's expression when she finally left the merch shop was priceless. I've never seen her jump so much with joy over something. And she hugged that stuffed dog as if it were the most special gift she had ever received.
Of course I didn't tell her how difficult it was to get all the rings in the game right, nor would I ever.
- Thank you, I loved it, I loved it so much!
Aimi didn't let go of me and I got a thumbs up from Kise. He then poked Sana, who made the same gesture while showing him the photocards she had purchased. She might still not like me, but she had to admit that I did something right this time.
- You know, there's an anime event coming up - - Aimi was still hugging me - and I was thinking about going dressed as Hinata, you should go with me.
- Of course I'll go with you, but I won't dress up.
- I can cosplay a character - Kise said.
- I don't know... - Aimi sighed.
- Yeah, you don't look like a Naruto character - Sana agreed.
- What? And since when do you watch anime?
The two began to discuss the characters, but I was distracted by Aimi's smile at the stuffed dog I had gotten for her with great effort. She looked at that toy every five seconds and her smile never disappeared.
Her brown gaze lit up in the sun like a big pool of honey and despite all the attention she could get from other guys, she kept looking at me.
I was really in love.
And one day I would find the courage to tell her that.
