Note 2: I also want to inform you that the next three chapters are very Karry-lite, so I apologize for that.
The Herculean's Choice
-Mid September-
Rip Hunter looked at the timeline projected from the Waverider's console.
"Gideon, connect to Ava," Rip said mused, and soon Ava appeared on the screen on the wall, Rip turning to look at her.
"What's going on now?" Ava asked.
"We're at a pivotal moment in the war," Rip said, making Ava frown. "Atlantis is trying to recruit the Herculeans, the male Amazonians, to their side. If they join Atlantis in this new timeline, then the war could end up being a bigger mess, and the world of men could fall."
"And that isn't a flux," Miranda added, looking over the timeline and Rip frowned. "Not really surprising; Kara didn't have a big part to play in Herculea decision. This is Diana and Donna's chapter of the war."
"And a multiverse guest," Gideon's voice added, showing an appearance of someone from the multiverse upon her projected timeline.
"Well, if we don't have to do anything for this one I think it's time we enhance our numbers here," Ava said. "I barely got Amelia where she needed to be for Vancouver; and covering these smaller fluxes with the DEO is getting harder. We could use someone with more pull than me inside the Justice League."
"A lot of people that are in the Justice League are off-limits. Informing them of what's going on could change the timeline in a negative way," Miranda stated.
"But there are some," Rip said, a light in his eye as Ava watched on from her own screen. "Gideon, bring up holographic images of our former Legends." Holographic images of all the people Rip Hunter recruited on his mission to kill Savage and save his family appeared: The Hawks, Leonard Snart, Martin Stein, Ronnie Raymond, Mick Rory, Laurel Lance – now Queen – and Ray Palmer. "The Hawks, Snart, and Stein are dead, and since the Hawks died out of their timeline, in an alternate future that no longer exists, I'm not sure where their reincarnations are. Gideon remove those four."
The four images disappeared. "With Ronnie would come the twins, Cody and Michelle," Miranda pointed out and holographic images of Cody and Michelle appeared.
"No. While Ronnie would be perfect, those two don't have the mindset for dealing with time travel," Rip sighed. "Take all three away and take Mick Rory as well."
"Why? He would be perfect," Miranda pointed out.
"He's a Totem Bearer in the Justice League," Ava added.
"And I only took him to get Snart last time," Rip said. "Me and him… well, it's better off he stay out of this. This leaves Laurel Lance and Ray Palmer. Both are long time members of the Justice League and know time travel well." Rip nodded. "Time for me to recruit some Legends back onto the team."
"Brilliant," Ava stated on the screen, which Rip then turned off.
"Who are we to bring back first, Captain?" Gideon spoke up at this.
"Who indeed," Rip muttered, rubbing his chin in thought.

"Well, as far as I can tell there is only one in there this time," Caitlin was saying; Kara had come into STAR Labs for Caitlin to check her over – sometimes Caitlin just brought the equipment to the penthouse, though. This day, Kara decided to come into the office to look over things. Alura and Nora were happily doing their schoolwork and playing over in the TV area anyway.
"That's what we said last time," Barry said pointed out, as he smiled at his daughter. "With our luck, three babies will be popping out of her."
"And all of them girls," Jesse supplied from her area and Barry laughed as Kara went over to take a seat on the couch.
"Our equipment's updated a lot since then, not to mention help from the multiverse – particularly Mutant Earth – means I can see in there. A bit, still can't tell the gender," Caitlin pointed out, "There's definitely one in there."
"We'll see," Jesse joked, to which Caitlin rolled her eyes at her friend. Jesse and Diana were at the computer today, with Diana supplying Jesse with everything she knew about Atlantis. The two were trying to make sense of where Atlantis could be under the water, to pinpoint their location.
"Creator, a portal is incoming from Amazonian," Gideon spoke, and as she said it, a portal appeared within the lab, and out came a lone Rae.
"Rae," Barry said with a smile.
"Rachel," Rachel corrected instantly.
"Sorry, all the ones I know go by Rae," Barry said, realizing who this was and remembering this one didn't like the nickname. He also remembered she wasn't a big fan of his alternate on her world. "I know you don't like my alternate or his little brother–"
"Sister," Rachel corrected, making Kara and Barry look at each other. "Barry has a little sister, Amelia."
The two remembered a brother named Arthur as clear as day; Amelia's male alternate, but they knew a lot of worlds had Crisis changes and it seemed Amazonian Arthur had changed into Amelia. Considering all the Paragons had been concentrating on turning Accord into the Monitor, it was possible that changed Arthur's sex on certain worlds.
"I think what my husband is saying," Kara spoke up from Barry's confused silence, "is, is there something we can help you with?"
"No, not really. Imra, my girlfriend," Rachel started, and Kara and Barry wondered if it was the same Imra they knew who was meant to be in the 31st century, "suggested I go check out the multiverse today. She was really weird about it and then sent me here. Oh, hi mom." Rachel had finally noticed Diana there as she stood from the computer.
"Mom?" Diana asked.
"Oh, Amazonian is called Amazonian because both Rachel and Kara were raised by you on Themyscira," Barry supplied, realizing Diana needed to be filled in.
"That is interesting," Diana said, moving closer to look at Rachel. She looked like she wanted to ask more questions of this Rachel but was cut off when the back door opened, and Donna came in with a blonde boy she recognized. "Nisos," Diana added to the blonde man.
"One of the male Amazionans," Rachel tensed up at seeing him, seeming to be on guard.
"Nisos is asking us for help again," Donna said, pausing at seeing the Rachel, but used to the New Justice version of her enough not to question this one.
"Atlantis has come to Herculea," Nisos stated, and everyone stopped to look at the man. "They want us to join their fight against you," Barry, Diana, Kara, Jesse, and Caitlin all shared a look at each other; if the male Amazonians joined Atlantis, the Justice League and the rest of the world was in a bad place. "But the things they are telling us don't make sense."
"What are they telling you?" Diana asked.
"They are calling you the 'JL'. They are saying Flash and Supergirl have led an army to overthrow and dictate the Earth. They call you cruel leaders. They say we would be freeing the land," Nisos informed them.
Sounds like they've confused us with Nazi Earth, Barry thought to Kara, who he felt agree with him.
"But this doesn't mix with anything we have observed," Nisos continued, "Jace wants you two to return to the island and set the record straight once and for all. Atlantis said they would come back later today and some of my brothers still don't trust you two. The fact you fight with the Justice League…"
"We will come," Diana spoke up, nodding to Donna who had a smile on her face. Donna had been wanting to go back to Herculea for a while.
"Can I come?" Rachel spoke up, surprising everyone. "On my Earth, the male Amazonians attacked Themyscira. Well tried to. We were about to fight on a nearby island when my New Justice counterpart stopped us. It turned out Ares destroyed Herculea and blamed us and the world of men. The males left to find a new home and we have not seen them since. I would like to see the male island though."
"Could always use a speedster," Diana said with a nod. "If Nisos has no objections? She's literally a sister Amazonian herself it seems, raised by my alternate on her Earth"
"I've no objection," Nisos said, blinking. "I'm sorry, but her Earth?"
"We'll explain as we fly," Donna said as Rachel summoned her outfit from a piece of jewelry.
"Wonder Woman, let us know the result," Barry said with a nod and Diana nodded back as the four left.
"Just so we're clear…" Kara said once the Amazonians and Rachel were gone. "We all realized this Imra is proposing to Rachel, right?"
"Oh yeah, really clear as day," Barry said with a nod.
"Yep," Caitlin said.
"Completely obvious," Jesse said as she rocked Sabrina, who was on her lap. "Think she realized?"
Barry and Kara looked at each other clearly thinking about it through their bond.
"Definitely not," both said at the same time.

Laurel Lance was with JT, Thea, and Paula at the park. She was pushing Quinn on the swing, the nearly three-year-old was laughing as she swung. Thea was holding Emily.
"I need at least a two-car garage," JT was saying to Paula; JT and Thea had decided to buy a house together and since Paula was a real-estate agent, they had hired her to show them houses.
"And we need at least three bedrooms," Thea added. "One for us, one for Nora, and a guest room – or maybe for a future kid." JT gave a smile at that and a wink.
"Hey, you hear that, you might get another cousin," Laurel said to Quinn, the girl just continued laughing with joy at her swing ride.
"You know, you can get pretty good prices on houses near the water now," Paula stated.
Laurel zoned out of the conversation though as she saw a familiar face on the opposite side of the park, wearing his trench coat – the same man as when she traveled with him all those years ago. Rip Hunter.
Rip held up a phone and suddenly Laurel's phone rang.
"Laurel Lance," Laurel said as she picked up.
"Don't say my name," Rip Hunter's voice said into the phone. "Excuse yourself from your sister-in-law and the others. The Waverider is park on the field not far from here."
"Not really a good time," Laurel said, noticing the other eyes had turned to her and she subtly indicated her two children with her to the man.
"There is no other time. This is a matter of importance Laurel Lance-Queen. Time itself is at risk," Rip said.
"Well, if it's that important I'll get there soon, but I need to drop my kids off with my husband," Laurel sighed. Oliver was at his gym, but he could look after them, still. "I can be with you in a half hour."
"It needs to be now," Rip said.
"Laurel, what's going on?" Thea asked
Laurel moved the cellphone down for a minute. "New client," Laurel said, her mind working quickly. She did some freelance lawyering, still, and took on clients – it was a good excuse. "Sounds like he's in trouble. Needs to meet with me now."
"Go," Thea said. "I'll take care of my nieces."
"Thank you," Laurel said as she kissed Emily, who Thea was still holding and gave Quinn a quick kiss. JT moved over to continue pushing Quinn on the swing as they continued their conversation about houses. "Okay then," Laurel went back to the phone call. "I'll be there."
"Don't look at me as you pass me," Rip added.
"Got it," Laurel said as she finally hung up. She ignored Rip Hunter, who was still now-pretending to be on his cell, as she passed him to go to the field beyond where he said the Waverider was parked. She didn't see anything, but she figured it was cloaked.
A minute later, Rip Hunter came up, obviously having been waiting around to make it look like he was not following her.
"Come on," Rip said as he held up a car keychain that lowered the cloak on the entrance door with a double-beep. Laurel followed the man inside, only to be greeted by two other people.
"Oh hi, Miranda. Wow, Jonas, you've got big," Laurel said to the teenager. "What's this about?"
"We need to get Ray first," Rip said. "Gideon, let's get to Gotham."

Diana, Donna, and Nisos landed on Herculea before Rachel skidded to a stop, having followed them running on the water.
"How did we beat you?" Donna asked, knowing Rachel Garrick's were faster than Barry – and Barry could beat them any day.
"I didn't know where I was going. Had to slow down and watch you guys, not easy to do when running over ocean waves," Rachel said.
"We probably should have carried you," Diana said, realizing how dangerous that was when Rachel mentioned ocean waves. Atlantis could have attacked her as she ran like they had attacked ships since the war started.
"Diana, Donna!" Jace, Diana's twin brother, was walking up to the beach and he gave Rachel a look. "Who is this?"
"Rachel, she's an honorary Amazonian," Diana said. "Sort of an alternate daughter for me on a different Earth."
"Do I want to ask?" Jace asked.
"No," Nisos chuckled; Donna had explained other Earths to him as they flew, and he had developed a bit of a headache trying to understand it.
"Fair enough, come on, I have everyone gathered," Jace said, leading them from the beach and to an area near their settlement where people were gathered. Diana and Donna noticed that the island generally looked better than the last time they were there – when a meta human who had been transformed into a wolf-like creature and had terrorized the island. "My sisters have returned to answer some questions."
"And how can we trust them?" A male called out.
"Let me," Diana said to her brother and took her lasso off her belt. "You know what this is? The Lasso of Hestia, it compels anyone to tell the truth. It's legend goes beyond that of Herculea and Themyscira, it's history older than either. Now, brother." Diana handed the Lasso to Jace. "Will you do the honor?"
"I will," Jace said, giving a smirk. Diana held out her arm, and he put the Lasso around Diana's wrist; it glowed, indicating its power was active "Tell us about this JL."
"There is no 'JL'," Diana said. "The 'JL' design on my outfit is the symbol of the Justice League; a group of heroes, warriors, and vigilantes who work together to protect the world. They were brought together by the Flash and Supergirl, originally to take down the Reverse Flash, but continued and grew, bringing in new members, such as myself, into their ranks."
"Are they dangerous to the world of men?" Nisos asked.
"Absolutely not, they help the world of men," Diana stated, Lasso still glowing around her wrist.
"What about the war with Atlantis? Why do Atlantis want to stop the League?" Jace asked.
"No one in the League knows," Diana answered truthfully, "Atlantis started attacking the land, we had no warning, no reason. We are trying all we can to protect the people, with little information on why the Atlanteans are attacking…"
…
As Diana talked, Nisos, Donna, and Rachel slipped away.
"We don't need to be part of that," Donna stated, "I think Diana's got it handled."
"Thanks. I wanted to see more of the island, anyway," Rachel said.
"To be honest, me too," Donna confessed.
"Personally, it doesn't matter to me. I know you're not what Atlantis says you are. I would not side with them over you," Nisos said, giving Donna a smile and Donna gave a blush.
"This place is beautiful," Rachel said as they walked. "Reminds me home."
"Of Themyscira? Donna says it's gone here but, on your Earth…" Nisos started
"Themyscira is very much alive on my Earth. It's Herculea that's gone," Rachel explained.
"Why did you leave?" Donna asked as they walked among the buildings of the settlement.
"I'm sorry?" Rachel asked.
"From what I know of your Earth – I looked at its summary in the system once, it intrigued me. Your aunt and uncle abandoned you, Diana took you in and then also took Kara in. You two left the island when you got older," Donna stated. "Why? There was nothing for you."
"I wanted to know about my biological mother and father," Rachel explained. "But in all honesty, I knew I didn't belong on Themyscira, not permanently. My sisters are great, they treat me like their princess, but I belonged in the world of men. What about you? Why did you leave?"
"I wanted to be like Diana," Donna admitted. "But… I don't know if I really thought where I belonged. I suppose it saved my life though."
"How so?" Rachel asked, she knew Themyscira was gone here, but didn't know how.
"Darksied, a powerful alien killed my sisters, my mother, my aunts," Donna sighed, "if I had been there… well, let's say if I had been there, I wouldn't be here now."
"That's terrible," Rachel stated, shocked by this – she couldn't imagine what it was like, having Themyscira and everyone she knew there, gone."
"But now?" It was Nisos who asked this.
"Now…" Donna sighed. "I don't know. The world of men is great but deep down…"
"Deep down you know. You'll figure it out," Rachel nodded.
"Well, I belong here," Nisos said with a smile as they continued to walk, leaving the settlement and through woodland. Eventually, the trio reached a waterfall on the island. They decided to have fun here, pushing each other under the water and splashing as they laughed.
"Having fun?" A voice called, finally interrupted them – it was Diana and Jace. Both had a smirk on their faces.
"You're done?" Donna asked.
"Diana gave us a very quick but complete history of the Justice League and the enemies you have faced and how many times you saved the world," Jace explained. "And we're all in agreement: we will not join Atlantis."
"Yes!" Nisos said, throwing his arms up in victory.
"Not so simple, Nisos," Jace continued. "I don't think Atlantis is going to take our rejection well. Since we last met, we have been training in the old ways so we're never in the place where we need help again, but we're not real warriors yet. How are we defending the Island?"
"Atlantis could sink it," Donna groaned, eyes wide at the realization.
"Well we fight," Rachel said. "Three female Amazonian princesses and whatever you males can do. They don't stand a chance." Rachel took her sword out as if to prove a point, lightning appeared in her eyes.
"Three?" Jace asked looking between Diana and Donna and wondering where the third was.
Diana gave him a little playful push. "Rachel counts," Diana told her brother.
"Oh, I see," Jace said with a nod deciding to accept it.
"Tell my alternate she did a good job raising you," Diana chuckled after this as she looked at Rachel. "Come on Wonder Girl, we have a fight to prepare for."

Ray Palmer was in a lab with his fellow scientist. They were working on a new robotic scanner to be used on the terraformed planets – this would indicate natural minerals in the area without having to dig unnecessarily to find them. The problem was, they couldn't get it working properly.
"Well, I would suggest to modify the sonic…" Ray paused when his cellphone rang. He held a hand to them, indicating he'd continue after, and went to answer it. "Palmer?"
"Raymond Palmer, it's been a while," Ray paused at the familiar voice. "Don't say my name," Ray had just been about to say 'Rip' but stopped. "Get yourself out of that dusty old lab and come to the Waverider."
"I'm kind of busy at the moment," Ray said.
"The scanner needs a minor adjustment," Rip said, making Ray blink. "You have it set wrong," Ray looked over the sensor and noticed Rip was right – the setting on the scanner was off. Fixing the problem, he set it to run the test again.
"Seems to be working now," one of the scientists with Ray said, surprised.
"Well thanks," Ray said to Rip on the phone. "But I still need to go look over the robotic limb replacement program…" ever since they'd replaced Oliver's arm, the business of replacing arms and legs had taken off for this section of STAR Co. The mechanical eye was also starting tests after many misfires, and they were starting to make mechanical organs like hearts, too.
"Ray, it would have taken you a week to find that error without me," Rip chuckled, and Ray frowned. "Reschedule any meetings you have and come to the Waverider. We're hovering above the building. This is a sensitive matter and time itself is at stake."
"You don't need to be over dramatic. I'll be there," Ray said and hung up the phone. "I've got to go. Back later," with that, Ray left the lab and sent a text to his secretary to reschedule his next few appointments. He then took the elevator up to the top floor, before taking the stairs to the roof. That was when he saw Rip standing on the rooftop.
"This brings me flashbacks…" Ray stated, their first meeting was on top of a building, after all. "Where's…?" Ray didn't finish his sentence as Rip pointed and just above him the Waverider appeared. "How are we getting on that exactly?"
Rip pushed a button on a bracelet on his wrist and a portal into the Waverider opened.
"That's new," Ray said as he and Rip walked into the Waverider. Ray paused at seeing Laurel there. She didn't look too impressed, and Ray raised an eyebrow. "Well, I see he got you too, Laurel."
"Yeah," Laurel said with a nod as Rip directed Gideon to take them into the time stream.
"Any idea what this is about?" Ray asked and Laurel shrugged.
"Oh, I heard Lucy's pregnant again," Laurel said, and Ray gave a smile. "Seems she and Kara have kids at the same time." Ray laughed at this.
Rip cleared his throat to get their attention. "Gideon, tell Ava to come now," Rip said.
"Ava?" Laurel and Ray said together as another portal opened and Ava walked into the room. They knew the Earth Totem bearer and they gave her a look. She looked ready for business.
"Hi. So, I can explain. Well, the short version is, I use to be a Time Master and then quit. I came to live in your time period. Rip has recruited me again for this," Ava said and the two decided to take that explanation for now – it seemed they have more time to ask later on.
"What is this, though?" Laurel asked. "Why are we back here?"
"I'll explain everything," Rip said to the two and gave his wife and son a nod.
-Karry Universe-
Jace, Diana, Donna, and Rachel waited on the beach. While they had been waiting, Diana, Donna, and Rachel had made sure any males who could were armed and ready to fight.
They didn't need to wait long as the waves started to get choppier, foaming high until three humanoids appeared on the head of the waves – it was the King of Atlantis, Arthur, as Barry identified him from the multiverse and with him were the two New Justice called Kaldur and Selena, or Aqualad and Aquagirl.
"What is this?" Arthur asked as he set foot on the beach with his two minions, his eyes falling on Diana, Donna, and Rachel.
"My sisters," Jace stated, taking a step up. "Princess Diana and Princess Donna of Themyscira and my…" Jace paused for a moment "niece, why not; Princess Rachel of Themyscira. You asked us to consider joining you against them. We had to hear their side too. We have decided not to join you."
"You're making a big mistake," Arthur stated, his eyes narrowing at this reveal.
"I can tell you now, that you're the ones making a big mistake," Jace responded coolly. "Now, leave my island."
"Very well. If you won't join us, then you are against us," Arthur stated, rising his trident now; the water on the shores started to rise.
Acting on instinct, Rachel surprised those gathered by running fast, kicking up sand, before she punched the ground, making sure to send the vibration from the punch right at the invading Atlanteans and knocking them back. She knew better than to try and take the trident from Arthur, however.
"Nice," Diana called, as the three Atlanteans were thrown back into the water in surprise, while the Amazonians had managed to keep their balance.
"Thanks. I saw New Justice do that once," Rachel said, making Diana pause, but they didn't have time as the waves still came up. Diana could see Arthur and the other two in the water now, while Rachel took out her sword and ran right into the water, her sword out, it clashing with Arthur's trident as he blocked her own attack.
Diana reacted too, knowing Rachel was at a disadvantage being in the water, and ran to help her. Grabbing Rachel and using her Lasso to drag Arthur back to the land. Donna took up fighting Arthur as Diana helped Rachel back to the beach, Rachel coughing up water.
"I like the spirit but fighting someone who controls water in water not the best idea," Diana said; Rachel had been battered by the currants Arthur had summoned.
"Noted, mom," Rachel said, picking up her sword again and running along the beach, her speed healing already kicking in. Diana saw her taking swings at Kaldur and Selena from the water as Rachel built up a shield of sand and wind along the shore with her own speed.
Jace and the other males were helping as best they could; throwing spears and rocks into the waves to hit the attacking Atlanteans as Diana could see there were more – it seemed Arthur had brought others in case the Herculeans didn't join.
Diana ran and helped Donna now, as Arthur had her and pushed her to the floor, she using her sword to block Arthur from a death blow.
"Get off my sister!" Diana called as she dragged the man off her sibling.
"We will never stop until your JL is done!" Arthur spat.
"And we will never stop," Diana said as her sword clashed with Arthur's trident. Diana saw Rachel was having a problem keeping the waves at bay now with her wind but got an idea. "Wonder Girl, Jace!"
That was all the signaling her sister and brother needed. Diana ducked out of the fight and Donna quickly replaced her sister in the battle, with Jace there to help. Diana took out her communicator. "Gideon, can you read me?"
"Yes, Wonder Woman," Gideon said.
"Is there a Justice League drone near my location?" Diana asked, hoping one of the drones could get here soon.
"I can have one at your location in five minutes," Gideon said.
"Do it now. We have an Atlantis attack!" Diana stated.
"I will redirect," Gideon confirmed.
"Help is on the way," Diana stated as she rejoined the fight, helping Rachel keep the waves off the water. They only needed to keep up the fight for five minutes, but in battle, five minutes could be an eternity; yet with the knowledge that backup was coming, the combined efforts of Diana herself, Donna and the Herculeans seemed refreshed, and it wasn't long later when Diana saw the drone approach the island, directing blasts into the water, sending energy into it to stop the wave and the Atlanteans controlling them.
"One of those things?!" Arthur snapped, turning to the drone, and obviously wanting to want to destroy it, but Jace sent a lightning bolt at him.
"You're not the only ones who can use electricity!" Jace laughed, surprising Diana too.
"Retreat!" Arthur called to his army. "This isn't over." Arthur dived into the waves – all before Rachel could run up and hit him with her sword.
"Good job," Diana said to Rachel who took deep breaths as she turned to the males. "I'll have Gideon put the island on the drones patrols. That should make sure they don't try to attack the land with the sea, but I can't guarantee they won't come back once we're gone. I can send a way to contact us if you need us."
"Thank you sister," Jace stated, out of breath himself. "Your help has been invaluable. We shall continue training to help with the fight."
"But not alone," Donna spoke, making all eyes go to her. "I want to stay here."
"Donna?" Diana asked confused.
"I left Themyscira to be like you Diana," Donna said. "But since our home has been destroyed I have had this desire to return to what once was – that I want to be there, not in the world of men. Ultimately, I don't belong there, and I know our home is never coming back. But here is as close as I can get. I want to stay here. To help defend this island so it does not follow our home. If I will be allowed?" She added this last part to Jace.
"I would love to have you here," Jace said, and Donna hugged him. Donna then turned to sister.
"Diana?" Donna asked, cautious now.
"If… if this is what you want," Diana said, looking a little sad and confused, however. "I know where to find you," she smiled weakly at this and glanced to her brother. "Take care of our little sister, Jace," Diana held a hand to Jace.
"You can stay too…?" Jace said, nevertheless shaking his sister's hand.
"No. My place is in the World of Men," Diana stated. "I have always known that. But I'll come back to visit – a lot," Jace gave Diana a hug and Diana hugged her sister one more. She turned to her alternative daughter at this. "Come on, Rachel, let me fly you home. I am not taking the chance of Atlantis attacking you as you run."
"Good idea," Rachel agreed, and with that, Diana picked her up and flew off.
-Karry Universe-
On the Waverider, Ray and Laurel were waiting for answers from Rip, Miranda and Ava.
"So…?" Ray asked Rip.
"Time has been changed and it's causing a flux in the timeline," Rip explained, showing the timeline fluxes on a monitor. "This is due to Kara and Barry delaying having their son – twice."
"They're having a boy?" Ray asked, obviously happy to hear this news.
"Yes," Miranda said.
"Barry won't be the only male in the family then," Ray added. Laurel gave him a look at this, which caused him to shut up.
"But not the point," Ava voiced.
A hologram of a teenage boy, with dirty, messy blonde hair, blue eyes and a noticeable smirk appeared. "This is Kent Daniel Allen – he was meant to be born on January 14th, 2020," Rip explained making Laurel and Ray pause.
"Hm, cute," Jonas spoke up, Rip and Miranda sharing a knowing look at the reaction.
"He was delayed a year to 2021 because of Amelia Allen appearing on this world," Rip continued, deciding not to address his son's comment. "Amelia moving in with them made Kara and Barry comfortable enough to officially adopt Romana and Star earlier than they were supposed to. But the added children made Kara uncomfortable with getting pregnant again, so Kent got delayed a year."
"Then he got delayed another year?" Laurel asked.
"Loose lips," Rip muttered. "Some in this very room…"
"He is my creator," Gideon voiced at this.
"Besides, the Speed Force also told them," Miranda pointed out.
"Kara and Barry found out about Crisis early; it delayed Kent again, by another year," Rip continued to explain.
"And how did this cause a flux?" Laurel asked.
"The Aquawar!" Jonas called, out making the two turn to look at him.
"Aquawar?" Ray asked.
"The war you are currently fighting with Atlantis will one day be known as the Aquawar," Ray supplied to the two. The name obviously not having been invented yet.
"Jonas is right; Kara was not meant to be pregnant during the Aquawar. She was meant to lead the League," Miranda stated. "Without her, it has caused these fluxes in the timeline. The Hitchhiking Kayla's arrival has help smooth out some of them, but overall, we're still stuck here in the flux. We can only travel from the beginning of the war to the end of the war."
"And we have to help smooth out these flux along the way. Ava has helped flatten smaller ones with the DEO, and we got our first major one in Vancouver by Ava convincing Amelia to go with Barry," Rip stated. "But we need more people on our side to help, people inside the Justice League."
"Why not just tell Kara and Barry?" Ray asked. "Go right to the source."
"They're too important," Miranda stated. "Fixing the timeline needs to be gentle. If we tell Kara and Barry, their thinking could change in ways that make the timeline worse, not better. It's too big of a risk. You two, on the other hand, can help us by working within the League. But you can't tell anyone what you're doing."
Laurel and Ray shared a look, doubt in their eyes, but slowly they both nodded.
"Okay then, what do we do?" Laurel asked.
"Take these Time Couriers," Rip said, handing them each one of the portal-opening bracelets. "It will let you come here, but also let us contact you. We'll be going from flux to flux, letting you know what to do."
"So, we'll be working the long way around," Ray chuckled.
"The long way around?" Laurel turned to her friend.
"Well, they'll be jumping between fluxes, but we'll be living them, going through the days where they aren't needed – we're taking the long way around," Ray explained.
"Very clever," Rip stated, not sure whether to roll his eyes at Ray's geekiness or not.
"Anyway, for big fluxes we'll come here and plan together," Ava pointed out.
"Okay," Laurel stated, putting the Time Courier on her wrist; Ray doing the same. At that moment the group heard a bing from both Laurel and Ray.
"Do our communicators work here?" Ray took his Justice League communicator out as he asked this. The communicator being the source of the bing.
"I connected them to your time zone," Gideon confirmed. "So, you did not miss anything."
"Hey, there's a full Justice League meeting," Laurel noticed from her own communicator.
"What?" Rip asked. "That's… a change."
"Let's get to Watchtower," Ray said, opening a portal from his own Time Courier, and the two left. With a smirk, Ava also headed back to the DEO.

"Well, this was fun," Rachel said to those gathered in the Superflash cave. Gideon had opened a portal for her home.
"I would have raised her in a heartbeat," Diana said as Rachel left, turning back to look at Kara. "You too, you know," Kara gave Diana a smile and hug at that.
"I called the Justice League meeting. Amelia and Winn have the girls," Barry spoke.
"A meeting?" Diana asked.
"Come on," Kara said, opening up a zap tunnel, which they went through. Some Justice League members were already in the room in Watchtower, while others came filling in. Thea had Quinn and Emily with her, and as Oliver came in he took one of his daughters.
Laurel and Ray were the last of the Justice League to show.
"Sorry," Laurel stated as she took a seat and took her other daughter from Thea.
"Everything okay with that client?" Thea asked.
"Um… what…? Oh yeah," Laurel said, quickly remembering her excuse to leave them earlier.
"Everyone," Kara said, and the League turned to her. "Wonder Woman and Wonder Girl, with some help from an alternate Flash, fought and won against Atlantis today on Herculea, the male Amazonian island. They convinced the males not to join Atlantis in the war," There were some cheers and Diana gave a nod. "But Wonder Girl decided to stay on Herculea. She has left Young Justice and our world."
Barry took his wife's hand and nodded to Kara, mentally saying he would take over, so Kara sat back down and put a hand on her baby bump.
"Young Justice was started with four teenage members and an older leader in Velcoity. Three out of the four original members of Young Justice are now gone," Barry said. "Velocity is more into being a full-time dad and working on his rollercoaster rides, while Donna has just now left, Powergirl is taking a leave of absence, and M'Gann, of course, went back to Mars. This leaves Superboy the sole original member left with the later add-ons of Wild Dog, Gear, and Sideways. Superboy and Wild Dog are ready to join us here. We have decided to put them up for a vote. Should those two get in, we will disband Young Justice."
"What about Gear?" Static spoke of his partner.
"And Sideways?" Ray added of his own partner, too.
"They can continue working with you two and can fight alongside the League on bigger missions, but Young Justice is just not needed anymore," Kara spoke up. "Gideon, send the vote for Superboy and Wild Dog to the communicators."
With that, all the communicators binged with a vote request; it only took a minute for the results to be calculated.
"We have unanimous vote," Barry said, looking at his own communicator now. "Both got in. Superboy and Wild Dog will join the Justice League. Young Justice will be disbanded. We'll be sending Cat and Lois this information to inform the public. That's all, really. Everyone can go home."
With that, the Justice League slowly left Watchtower – except Mick who went over to his room in the place, living in Watchtower these days.
We should ask Mick if he wants to make his books a movie. STAR Studio could use it, Barry thought to Kara as he watched the retreating man.
Maybe. It would help set him up financially, maybe he could move out of this place. Although he should be making enough money from his books for that anyway. Barry had to laugh at his wife comment on that. But hey, Connor and Jack will be happy, Kara thought, and Barry nodded.
Let's go home to our girls, Barry thought, helping Kara up.
"I am towards the end of your time on Starfleet Academy. I have been looking up where else Danny Crusher appeared before Star Trek Galaxy," Kara spoke, and Barry almost laughed as they left Watchtower.

"How did this happen?" Rip asked, looking at the news articles. "Wonder Girl wasn't meant to leave for Herculea for a few more years. Superboy and Wild Dog are in the League early and Young Justice is gone. This is a travesty!"
"Hey, it's not so bad," Miranda said.
"Wonder Girl is no longer fighting in the war!" Rip groaned. "How did this happen?"
"Rachel Garrick," Gideon said. "She made Donna realize earlier that she did not belong in the world of men."
"Bloody Rachel Garrick. She'll be the death of me," Rip groaned.
"Which version?" Miranda smirked at her husband's annoyance. "Wait, didn't you say not long ago the Allens would be the death of you?"
"Technically she is an Allen," Rip snapped, making Miranda have to hide a laugh.
"Hey dad, it's okay," Jonas said. "The timeline is adjusting well around these changes."
"Yes, Jonas is right," Miranda said. "Things will change, it seems. But we have to make sure the important things don't change." Rip sighed and nodded. It was time they went to the next flux.
Post Chapter Note: And there you have it. Young Justice is gone, and Donna is staying on Herculea. Did you enjoy seeing the males again? Don't forget we're on a week's break now but Karry will be back.
