Lian Yu

-End of November-

Inside the Waverider, a Time Courier Portal opened, and out of it stepped Laurel Lance and Rose Wilson. Rip and Miranda were in the control room and looked up at their arrival.

"We need to talk about this Lian Yu business," Laurel stated, all business. The moment she heard the next flux was on Lian Yu she had been alert.

"Indeed," Rip said with a nod.

"Last time Gideon mentioned there was a flux around Lian Yu; well, Olly just confirmed that the new League of Assassins, the one led by Taliah Al Gaul, seems to have set up base there. He's arranging transport to get our team over," Laurel explained.

"Ah," Rip sighed, standing and heading to the console himself now. "Gideon?"

"Indeed," Gideon spoke up as Laurel turned to the A.I. image that had appeared over the console. "Lian Yu is the focus of the next flux. Taliah Al Gaul and her followers have found this to be the best base of operations – and by extension, the Justice League will realize it's the perfect training area, too, now that the Chinese government have abandoned it, it's strategical location is perfect for the Justice League to cover the east of the globe. In the future, members of the League who do not permanently live in the United States use it and Oliver sets up a vigilante training ground."

"I'm guessing we claim it after we get rid of Taliah's new League of Assassins?" Laurel asked.

"In the original timeline, yes," Gideon stated

"But now…?" Laurel had to ask.

"Now, Atlantis, too, have come to realize it's importance. The King of Atlantis has confused the League of Assassins as part of the misunderstood 'JL' and will attack when your team arrive," Gideon explained.

"Damn those assassins," Laurel muttered darkly. "Okay, so in the correct timeline I'm guessing Barry and Kara stop him from attacking?"

"Indeed. In the correct timeline, Barry and Kara together holdback Atlantis's attack and stop the island from sinking," Gideon explained.

"Sinking?" Laurel paused at this, glancing to Rose who was watching in silence.

"Atlantis have control over the oceans. Lian Yu is only a small island, it can easily be sunk by the Atlantean forces, and current projections confirm it will be," Gideon stated.

"What about those drones that protected Herculea?" Jonas asked, coming in to the console room and obviously having heard the problem.

"They weren't made to run 24/7 the way they have been presently. We've had to bring them in to be repaired," Laurel admitted. "We are trying to balance when they are around but…"

"There is a hole where the drones cannot cover or get to fast," Gideon said, showing the path of the drones. "When Lian Yu is attacked by Atlantis no drones will be close enough to get there in time and my younger self will not redirect a drone to help with the League of Assassins."

"So, no drones. No Kara and Barry to help… but wait, we have Kayla in place of Kara and Barry's still free, I don't see the problem," Laurel pointed out.

"Kayla is off world," it was Rose who spoke at this, Laurel turning back to her fellow Legend. "She's hitchhiking, I can see it," Rose explained.

"So, what about Barry?" Laurel asked, looking between Rose and Gideon now.

"Due to Kara's pregnancy, Barry decided not to come on the mission to get the League of Assassins. Due to that, he set up other meetings. He won't make it in time by the time he hears that this becomes an Atlantis attack. It's up to the Legends to stop this one," Gideon explained.

"Not helpful when Ray is busy with Lucy," Rip spoke up, causing Laurel to frown at this.

"Lucy's having a tough pregnancy," Miranda added for Laurel.

"Oh," Laurel signed.

"And while Ava is helpful, this can't involve the DEO," Gideon explained. "I shall, of course, keep her in the loop."

"Mon and Zari?" Laurel asked.

"Mon is helping with Karen in Europe, and with no Zap Tunnels to Lian Yu yet, it will take him time to get there," Rip explained, to a moan from Laurel.

"Zari is helping Lena train with the Air Totem. It would look unusual for her to cancel to go take on the League of Assassins," Miranda said.

"Besides, with Japan coming up I encourage any Totem training," Rip said. "And one solo Air Totem wouldn't do much to stop the sinking anyway."

"Damn," Laurel groaned. "Wait, Thea has the Water Totem! Surely that will help?"

"The Water Totem is powerful, but Atlantis is going all out. Even those odds aren't in your favor," Rip pointed out.

"Urgh. Well at least it helped against that Master Planner freak last week," Laurel muttered, to looks from the others. "Thea and JT got taken by the Master Planner, you remember that guy who thinks he's got tech over us? Long and weird story short, he ended up very wet and bruised," Laurel couldn't help but smirk as she explained this. "Okay, so what about the rest of the League...?" Laurel moved back on topic. "Surely they can help with Lian Yu?"

"By the time Atlantis attacks, it will be too late for most of them; only the Supers, Amazonians and speedsters could have hope in stopping this," Gideon stated.

"And they may be too late..." Rose added, sadly.

"We really should have insisted on a Zap Tunnel to Lian Yu," Laurel sighed.

"With the insistence of one in Japan for the major flux, a second on Lian Yu would be too suspicious," Rip pointed out.

"Looks like this is up to us," Laurel stated, turning to Rose. "You're definitely joining us?"

"I wouldn't miss it for the world," Rose stated, a knowing look in her eyes.

"Well, I better call my dad to take Quinn and Emily; we should get back before Olly suspects anything," Laurel resolved, nodding to Rip and Miranda as she reopened the Time Courier Portal and moved through, Rose following behind.

"Gideon," Rip asked once the two Legends were gone, "what's their success rate on this one?" They had added very little to correct this flux besides having Rose on the island.

"Very minimal, I'm afraid, Rip," Gideon spoke. "Right now, there's a 95% chance that Lain Yu will sink, and the future of the League and the Eastern continents remain in jeopardy because of this."

"Damn," Rip swore, looking to Miranda who shared his concern. "Tell Mon once he's done in Europe to head right to Lian Yu. Maybe having a Daxamite will help."

In the palace of Atlantis, King Arthur sat on his throne; his Queen next to him. The only other person who entered the room was his brother, Orm.

"Orm, why did you have me attack a museum?" Arthur asked, throwing the pamphlet the Flash had given him during that attack at Orm, his powers protecting it from the water. He and his wife had been talking it over and Arthur finally decided he had to ask his brother about this.

"A mistake, my brother," Orm said, seeing the pamphlet.

"A mistake like that cannot happen again. We only attack the JL! We are removing those dictators and freeing the land of their rule before they spread here," Arthur stated to Orm.

"I know, my brother. I am the one who told you of the threat to the land and to here," Orm " I have found a new target. An island base where the JL trains those without powers like that Green Arrow of theirs. I have seen an army gathering there. Should we let this stay, our planned attack on their major base in Japan would be harder."

"Get the army ready," Arthur said with a nod as Orm gave a nod and moved out of the room. Arthur sat back at this, sighing to himself.

"My husband what troubles you?" the Queen asked.

"The Flash and Supergirl don't act the way I thought they would," Arthur explained. "But my brother has told me of the horrors they perform... I trust him." Arthur patted his wife's hand. "Watch our children while I take out this island base," the Queen gave a nod as Arthur went to leave.

In the Penthouse, Barry was curious as to his wife's current viewing habits.

"What are you watching now?" Barry asked Kara as he came over to the couch. "That's not Star Trek?"

"I finished Star Trek Galaxy," Kara dismissed. "So, I went to a movie. Animorphs."

"Is that Nate Heywood and Patty Spivot?" Barry asked as he watched the screen for a moment; Nate Heywood, the former Citizen Steel, had died here during the Darkseid battle and Patty was the current head of Central's Meta Human department of the CCPD.

"Yep," Kara said with a nod. "And that's Mari McCabe, Tantu dead cousin. And you're Tobias." Barry laughed as he heard his own voice coming from the bird.

"Small multiverse," Barry mused. "But Animorphs... who owns the rights to Animorphs? Maybe we can get a movie going here," Barry mused. "How did they do it on Beautiful with so many books?"

"Movie trilogy; the first hour of the first movie was mostly the first book, then they did some voice overs to keep in pace with the books while the second hour seems to be them going to find Ax," Kara said.

"I am shocked you know these books so well," Barry said, honestly curious and surprised when Kara showed him an early memory of hers through their bond; Alex was showing Kara how to read English and talk it by using the Animorph books. Barry had to giggle at the sweet memory of a young teenage Kara and younger Alex.

"You know, I think Alex still has those books somewhere. Maybe Romana, Star, Alura, and Nora will like them," Kara said, bringing Barry back to the present, seeing their two youngest were engrossed in the movie already. "I'll ask."

"Good idea, but speaking of Tantu and STAR Studios," the link was there with Mari Macabe in the film, "Charlie is coming over today. Follow up from the meeting I had with her not long ago," Barry said.

"Why speaking of Tantu?" Kara asked, to which is was Barry's turn to share through their bond: an image of Charlie looking exactly Tantu. You're joking, right? Kara asked of the image of the woman.

Nope, Barry thought back as he now moved off to check the oven. "Ah, these are done." Barry took the mittens and started taking out the trays of various foodstuff. I was surprised by her appearance and she mentioned she had chosen her face so I suspect she may be some sort of face-changing meta human. I decided not to ask further, it's her business.

Fair enough, Kara decided, switching topics from Charlie. "Smells good," Kara said aloud. "Who made them; New Justice or Beautiful Rae?"

"Is it impossible to think I made them?" Barry asked, and felt how stupid of a comment that was from Kara's mind and feelings. "Okay, it was actually Splitsville Rae. Remember the one with the meta cat and Kryptonian dog from Crisis? She's in some type of fancy culinary school on her world and was practicing fancy starter dishes. I'm not even sure what half of these are, but she jumped at making appetizers for us I could heat up."

"Creator, Ms. Creator, Charlie has arrived," Gideon spoke up.

"Let her up, turn off the TV," Barry said.

"Hey, no TV," Alura and Nora cried at the same time.

"No powers girls," Barry countered, to a frown from both of them and stomping their feet. "Go play with Beebo," he sighed, the two smiling as they ran to the play room with speed. "Girls, I said no powers!" Barry yelled again. At that, the elevator doors opened, and the head of STAR Studios exited into their living area.

You weren't kidding. Splitting image of Tantu, Kara thought to Barry as she looked at Charlie.

-Karry Universe-

As leader of Team Canary, Laurel had acquired a small plane to get her team to Lian Yu safely – with the war with Atlantis, they didn't want to risk taking a boat, but a plane was quicker anyway. Knowing Lian Yu better than her, she had appointed Oliver as lead of this mission; he was flying the plane, after all.

With the new League of Assassins seeming having their base to the south of the island, Oliver had decided to direct the plane to the north, at an abandoned military air base; old, rusting fighter jets still littered the runway, but their plane made a safe landing.

"Nice place," JT, aka Red Hood, remarked upon exiting their plane, Thea behind him.

"It never was," Oliver countered as he allowed Laurel, Paula, Jack and Rose to exit the plane before him.

"So, this is where you and my dad bonded, eh?" Rose joked to Oliver as she looked around.

"The perfect Boys Den," Paula added in jest.

"Slade was a good guy once," Oliver reasoned. "Besides, we're only a few klicks east of the submarine where you dad's life changed forever when he injected himself with Mirakuru."

"Wasn't looking for a life story," Rose joked, but Oliver waved this off. "Dad showed he was a good guy when he died anyway," Oliver nodded, knowing a bit of how Slade had finally met his end: Trying to make sure his daughter didn't follow in his footsteps.

"We're here for Taliah anyway," Laurel reminded the group as Oliver lead them down the airfield, toward the trees just beyond.

"Wouldn't she have been able to track the plane?" Jack pointed this out.

"The League of Assassins may have had the skills and resources to do that once," Thea was the one to say this, "but what Taliah is leading now is only a shadow of those forces; she'll be stretched thin as it is."

"Maybe she should rename themselves the League of Shadows?" Jack joked at this.

"Oh, be quiet," JT groaned.

"Come on, we need to go at this with stealth," Oliver groaned quietly, trying to get his team to shut up. "They may be shadows, but Taliah has the training and skills to detect intruders..." with that, the team stayed quiet, with Oliver taking the lead deeper into the forest.

Apart from the occasional wildlife, they didn't come across any other forms of life until they reached what was obviously a man-made clearing; through the trees where they stopped, they could see a few old buildings, obviously being used as housing for this new League as tens of people in dark outfits were putting themselves through various combat training – it was almost like looking at a military training, had it not been for some obvious killing skills being put to the forefront of their drills.

Laurel also noted, on the other side of the clearing, that the trees gave way to a sandy beach with the ocean viewable beyond – she wondered if this was almost on purpose, where they could get some warning of the flood waters yet to come when Atlantis did, eventually, attack.

"We're outnumbered at least five to one," JT was the one to whisper this.

"We could take them by surprise," Jack muttered, fingering the pistol in his belt.

"I'm sure I can make something effective against them," Paula whispered, looking for a good enough stick to transform into a weapon with her powers.

"My Water Totem could come in handy, too," Thea pointed out. "We're right near the water. I can have them washed out."

"Yeah, I think taking them by surprise is our best option," Oliver agreed, now turning to Rose. "Rose, can you...?" Before he could finish though, Oliver's eyes went wide as he raised his hands in shock. "You!" He added, eyes quickly narrowing.

The team turned in his eyesight to see a man clad in black armor, with a familiar black-and-orange mask covering his face.

Deathstroke stood over the crouching group, his sword pointed directly at Oliver.

-Karry Universe-

"These are excellent!" Charlie said taking some of the food Barry had taken out of the oven. "Did you make these?"

"He wishes," Kara said, sitting at the table now with them and taking some food for her and baby as well. "We have a… sort of family member who cooks well. She set all this up."

"Well, pass off compliments from me. I have been around a long time, and eaten some amazing food and this is excellent," Charlie said. "But not why we are here. I looked over all the paperwork you gave me and have some excellent ideas on what we could do. I have started interviews for writers, directors, and actors willing to move to Calisto, either temporarily or permanently, and George and I have had several meetings. We do have a lot of superhero projects though. We do feel we need to diversify some."

"Well there is Beebo and other toy characters we have," Barry pointed out.

"Plus, Rebecca Silverton, STAR Studios has gained the movies rights to her books," Kara stated, and Barry tried not to laugh; since finding out Mick wrote those books, the pair had decided to use it to their advantage.

"All helpful," Charlie nodded.

"We were talking about maybe looking into getting the movie rights for Animorphs," Barry voiced.

"A lot of Sci Fi, but our studios is on an entire different planet after all, so a perfect fit," Charlie nodded. "And outside shots. Do you know if Calisto will look anything like Earth or are we completely in the studio with CGI backgrounds?"

"The sky will definitely be different; for one thing Calisto is a moon so you will be seeing the others moons and the planet it orbits. We're not so sure what night and day schedule will be since it doesn't revolve around the sun like a planet," Kara mused, "but you could do outside shots and then edit in normal Earth skies anyway."

"We'll have to experiment," Charlie dismissed. "We're going to need to make deals with movie theatres to show the movies and somehow get them on cable and streaming."

"We have contacts in Disney, so it could possibly get shows on ABC and FOX," Kara said. "We've been talking about buying our own channel or starting our own streaming service but we are a bit away from worrying about that," Kara mused. Before anyone could say anything more though, there were noise from the playroom.

"Mommy, daddy!" Alura and Nora yelled out, coming in with some speed and making Barry groan. "Beebo, videogame!" The two were holding up a Beebo doll each; Alura having a purple one in her hands.

"Should have left the TV on," Barry mumbled as he went to grab the two. "We can explain..."

-Karry Universe-

Back on Lian Yu, Team Canary were shocked at the appearance of Deathstoke.

"You're dead!" Rose was the one to say this to the Deathstroke before Team Canary, but before anyone could react, Thea used her Totem to throw a jet of water at the villain, sending his flying.

"So much for the element of surprise," Laurel groaned, Deathstroke quickly getting back to his feet.

"Olly!" Paula called, having grabbed a long stick and quickly transformed it into a replica of Deathstroke's own sword. She threw it to Oliver who, in one swift movement, grabbed it by the hilt with his robotic arm and instantly used it to block the strike that Deathstroke had aimed to him. At that, the pair clashed swords, Oliver proving himself good with the weapon against his new opponent.

"When did Olly get so good at sword fighting?" Jack asked, watching the two fight it out for a moment.

"He faced Ra's Al Gaul with a sword; was taught by Malcolm Merlyn," Laurel explained quickly. "But we've got the attention of the others, we need to attack now."

"You don't need to tell me twice," Jack grinned as he pulled out two revolvers now and rounded the trees, firing at will.

"That boy..." Paula remarked but smiled to herself as she quickly transformed some more wood into a weapon for herself – this time a bow and set of arrows, which she used to start firing at the new League of Assassins, who realized they were under attack as they moved in the direction of the action.

"Jack has the right idea," JT joked as he moved into the clearing, firing too at the League of Assassins who were now fighting with Jack, Paula and Thea – the latter of whom used both her Totem and own sword skills against these assassins.

Laurel and Rose, however, stood back, trying to assess what to do next as they watched Oliver battle Deathstroke.

"Did you see him?" Laurel asked Rose, knowing her team would be okay fighting the League of Assassins and indicating Deathstroke. "In your visions?"

"No," Rose stated, both seeing Oliver and the new villain were evenly matched. "I don't know how, but... He's not my father. I don't think. He can't be."

"Let's find out," Laurel said. There was only one thing for it: Laurel opened her mouth and let loose her Canary Cry, causing Deathstroke to be knocked back for the second time in a few minutes, but this time his mask came loose, and the face beneath wasn't who they were expecting. He was dark skinned and looked vaguely familiar, but Laurel couldn't pinpoint where from.

"I wondered how long it would take for the infamous Oliver Queen and his team to arrive," a new voice spoke as Deathstroke got to his feet. The three remaining members of Team Canary glanced around to see the familiar Taliah Al Gaul glaring at them down the shaft of an arrow, aimed directly at Laurel, however.

"Technically my team," Laurel pointed out. "But I'll let that go."

"Taliah," Oliver stated, glaring at her as the new Deathstroke moved over to his leader.

"You're doing well, JD," Taliah stated to the new Deathstroke.

"I've had plenty of training," this JD acknowledged as the sounds of battle, gunfire, shouts and whizzes of arrows from the clearing next to them met their ears.

"My League of Assassins has learned from my father's mistakes, however," Taliah explained. "My second in command, Shellcase, will easily defeat your team."

"Why?" Oliver asked this one. "You kidnapped Nightwing's son, you set up a training area here. You know the Justice League will stop you – they did before – so why even try this again?"

"Because the League of Assassins is everything!" Taliah snapped. "They were before your precious Justice League and will long outlive them!"

"I doubt that," Oliver rolled his eyes at Taliah's reveal. The group didn't know everything about the trip to the 31st Century that Kara and Barry took a while ago, but they knew the League there was a continuation of their Justice League.

"But you're in grave danger," Rose was the one to speak up, sharing a look with Laurel.

"We are? Who exactly are you, Red?" Taliah asked, naming Rose from her hair color.

"I am the daughter of the man who once wore that suit," Rose stated, nodding to Deathstroke beside his mistress.

"You're Rose Wilson? Oh, but your legacy precedes you," Taliah smirked now. "I want to get everyone back. Your father and brothers would have been a top pick if they weren't dead. You'd be welcome to take their place."

"I have my place among the Justice League," Rose countered, knowing this offer would come and knowing to reject it instantly. "But it seems though while you listen to legacy, you don't pay attention to the current news," Rose now remarked.

"Oh? And what is that?" Taliah smirked now.

"The war with Atlantis," Rose stated. "I have seen this island sink beneath the waves because of the war – with your League of Assassins still on it." It was a little lie, but Gideon had told them Atlantis would sink – and it would make sense it would with the new League of Assassins on it, too.

"Rose...?" Oliver asked, glancing to Laurel as he now mouthed 'so is this why she came along?' but Laurel gave him a short head shake, indicating she'd explain later while wondering exactly where Rose was going herself.

"My League are skilled and worthy, we shall defend this land if needed," Taliah stated bluntly.

"I hope you believe that..." Rose stated, nodding back to the clearing.

Only now did they realize the sound of fighting had died down as everyone turned to look beyond the clearing and to the ocean beyond – a blonde man and some twenty-something armored men and women now stood on the beach.

The King of Atlantis and his army had arrived.

-Karry Universe-

"So, you are the Flash and Supergirl," Charlie spoke as Kara got the two kids a handheld videogame system and loaded a Beebo game for them. "I should have seen that one coming. Why didn't I? Maybe because Supergirl has been fighting and clearly not pregnant."

"Multiverse," Kara remarked, and Charlie gave a nod. "An alternative Supergirl. Sort of. Look, Charlie, we…"

"Don't worry about me spilling your secret," Charlie dismissed, and could see they were nervous. "In fact... have you ever heard of Clotho?" Kara and Barry looked at each other. "Greek mythology. The Sisters of Fate and the Loom of Fate. Making humans' destiny?"

"Sounds familiar, but you'd want to talk to Wonder Woman not us about that," Barry said, confused as to where this was going.

"Well, I'm Clotho – or at least I was until I destroyed the Loom of Fate and gave humans free will, trapping my sisters in hell, and spending my immortal life having fun," Charlie explained and saw the confused look. Charlie changed her face to that of an older white woman for a moment before changing back.

"Okay, that weirdly does make sense with the background checks we did," Kara said with a shrug.

"Means you're definitely not a meta-human," Barry pointed out.

"Nopes, I pre-date meta-humans, let's put it that way," Charlie joked.

"Creator, Atlantis is attacking Lian Yu," Gideon's voice spoke up, knowing Charlie was in on the secret. "Team Canary are there investigating the League of Assassin base made there. They are not enough."

"Go," Kara said; Barry summoned his suit and ran out.

"Guess its just us girls," Charlie said at that.

"Yup!" Kara turned the TV then back to Charlie at this, an idea coming to her. "By the way, now you're in the know, we have a sort of streaming service throughout the multiverse. There are TV shows and movies on other Earths that don't exist here at all," Kara said.

"Oh," Charlie raised an eyebrow at this.

-Karry Universe-

At the sight of the Atlanteans, Taliah Al Gaul had stormed across the clearing and to the beach where the King was waiting. Laurel, Oliver and the rest of Team Canary followed, while those who League of Assassins members who had survived the attack literally shrunk back into the shadows.

"Who are you to interrupt my army?" Taliah demanded.

"You admit it!" King Arthur bellowed. "You have an army... But you are neither the Flash or Supergirl."

"Urgh, no, I am not," Taliah had her hand on the hilt of her sword now, cautious.

"Yet you meet with known members of the JL," Arthur looked to the members of Team Canary, who stood cautiously back from Taliah.

"The, what...?" Taliah asked, perplexed by this acronym.

"This guy is nuts," Jack mumbled to receive an elbow from his sister; Paula agreed, but wasn't the time to address that issue.

"It matters not," Arthur stated. "I shall defeat you all now and then sink this land so the JL can never use it against my forces!" With that, Arthur moved forward, trident ready but Taliah had her own sword out now as she struck a blow against Arthur.

Battle then ensued, with the remaining League of Assassins members beginning to fight that of the Atlantean army, while Team Canary decidedly regrouped.

"We need to get the Justice League here," Oliver stated instantly.

"Already sent out an alert," Thea spoke, having used her communicator to alert the League.

"I fear they may be too late," Rose spoke up.

"And that the Atlanteans are pretty much besting these League of Assassins already, " JT added, glancing to the battle and knowing their time was numbered.

"There's not much we can do," Laurel sighed, knowing that she was deciding the fate of this island for it.

"I'm not keen on retreating," Paula pointed out.

"Neither am I, but if we don't, we may end up as fish food," Oliver stated, the words of Arthur still in his mind: ...and then sink this island so the JL can never use it. Lian Yu may never have been home, but it did hold a dear place in his heart, after all, and to see it go would be temendously sad.

"Most of us are powerless," Laurel reasoned, "and even the powers we do have won't work against these forces. It won't stop a tsunami."

"And the STAR drones are currently under repair," Rose spoke up, knowing this from her and Laurel's discussion on the Waverider earlier.

"Yeah, those aren't going to help this time," JT agreed.

"Thea?" Oliver turned to his sister.

"I can try to keep the water at bay as best as I can but stopping the power of Atlantis is impossible," Thea said, already using her Water Totem to try to keep the water away from them.

"I don't think we have much choice, but to retreat!" JT spoke up, pointing. While the Atlanteans were still fighting the League of Assassins, with Taliah doing well against King Arthur, the ocean beyond them had receded far, a familiar white foam on the horizon of an oncoming tsunami. Thea groaned; she couldn't stop that.

"No Gideon or STAR tech to save us here..." Rose reminded them.

"Time to run!" Oliver decided, not waiting a moment more before making a hasty retreat, the others following him. None had time to register that Deathstroke had gone missing though – he hadn't appeared in the fight against the Atlanteans – and none of them really cared for this information as they all bounded quickly through the forest, back to the airfield.

Then they could hear the screaming of the League of Assassins realizing what was happening and the roar of the water as it hit the land, not to mention the snapping of thousands of trees as the waters levelled them. But Team Canary didn't have time to take this in as they all boarded their plane, Oliver running to the cockpit to start it up.

Water came rushing over the airfield just as their plane took to the skies, and looking out of the windows, all Team Canary could see was the tsunami inundating the land below; Laurel and Rose knew that the waters wouldn't recede.

"We've failed..." Laurel told Rose, realizing that they hadn't been able to stop this flux.

"I don't know... the League of Assassins has been stopped, at least," JT voiced at this, not realizing what Laurel really meant.

That was when there was a thump on the fuselage and a familiar red-caped man with short cropped black hair looked through one of the plane's side windows. Both Laurel and Rose groaned but couldn't help but laugh at Mon-El's bad timing and then saw the Flash of lighting below, indicating Barry, running along with Jesse and Wally, had arrived. The people with powers to stop this were definitely too late though as even the mountains of Lian Yu sank below the water.

-Karry Universe-

"Did Charlie leave?" Barry asked after he got back to the Penthouse later; Star and Romana were now home and doing their own homework, while all the food from Splitsville Rae was gone and Alura and Nora were doing their own work.

"Yep, although she wants access to the system to get ideas on other originals we can do," Kara stated, and Barry had to laugh. "She enjoyed the first episode of Beautiful's Magical Creatures. So, did the girls. What happened with...?"

I was too late, Barry thought to Kara, who gave a sad nod at this. The land was sinking by the time I got there.

There are going to be failures in this war. At least this one only hurt the League of Assassins, Kara thought back and Barry had to agree.

Too bad. It would have made a perfect Justice League base for the Eastern continents, Barry added. Oliver could have put vigilante training grounds there. A place on Earth to train. Never thought about it until I saw the mountains go under.

Lian Yu... wasn't that Justice Island of the 31st Century? Kara had to ask.

Nope, the island looks completely different. Why? Barry asked, remembering that island from their visit to the future.

Mon said that was a new base for Young Justice, Kara said, remembering, and Barry gave a nod. But we disbanded Young Justice instead of buying a new base. They had been looking into new places for Young Justice but when Donna left the idea to disband was better.

"Weird," Barry voicalized, realizing what Kara meant but shrugging it off.

"That's a thousand years from now," Kara dismissed. "Who knows what's happened by then?"

"Hey, if you two are done talking in your heads," Romana spoke up. "The school sent home a note. We're on virtual tutoring now." Romana indicated the email and Barry gave a nod. They knew this was coming eventually.

-Karry Universe-

Back on the Waverider, Gideon sent an alert to Rip, who ran into the console room with Jonas behind him.

"Gideon?" Rip asked.

"It's happened, Rip," Gideon spoke. "I'm afraid to report that Lian Yu has been sunk."

"Crap," Rip moaned, putting a hand through his hair in frustration.

"Team Canary? The Legends?" He now asked, worried. He had sent them without any definite plan to correct the flux this time; just hoping they would figure it out.

"Laurel, Rose and all of Team Canary made it out safely. Mon arrived along with Jesse, Wally, Barry, and Superman to scan the area for survivors – a few of the new League of Assassins were picked up from the torrent of water, including Taliah Al Gaul, but it seems Atlantis has won this blow against the League," Gideon stated.

"What does this mean going forward?" Jonas asked.

"Well, those rescued from the flood will be imprisoned, right?" Rip turned to Gideon at this.

"While I cannot currently calculate beyond the end of the Atlantis War, I can correctly calculate the Justice League's decision on what will happen to those in the new League of Assassins and that is an arrest and imprisonment," Gideon explained.

"The long way of saying 'yes'," Jonas chuckled.

"So, the end of the war isn't any clearer?" Rip asked Gideon. "Do you know what could happen after?"

"Sadly not," Gideon informed them. "The original timeline had Lian Yu as a base of operations for the League to get to Eastern continents and for training exercises, but now I cannot tell. Win or lose, Lian Yu is gone."

"Okay, but Barry and Kara can do alternatives," Jonas pointed out. "Zap Tunnels to other countries – they're already getting one in Japan, and didn't Karen recently suggest for one in Italy?"

"Yes, she did," Rip stated. "But it's not the same as having an actual base of operations nearby."

"I suppose not," Jonas sighed, unsure what to say to this one. "It seems the Justice League and island bases are not doing well with this flux."

"What do you mean?" Rip asked his son at this.

"Well, Young Justice was disbanded before Kara and Barry bought Justice Island," Jonas said making Rip pause at this. "Was I the only one who realized that?"

"Gideon!" Rip yelled.

"I've been trying to figure out how to correct that," Gideon said back, making Rip groan more. Jonas gave a giggle not realizing just how serious this was.

-Karry Universe-

JD, the new Deathstroke, had barely escaped Lian Yu, making his way to Smallville in the United States now, knowing what he needed to do now that the League of Assassins had been, quite literally, wiped from the face of the earth. Now, he stalked Kent Farm, the cover for the DEO base.

"Director Diggle!" a man called, running over to Lyla Diggle. "You forgot this."

"Thanks ,Ben," Lyla said. "I knew I forgot something. I'll say hi to the kids for you?"

"Sure. Tell Dig I said hi. Maybe we'll get the kids together soon," this Ben said.

"You're on," Lyla smiled, getting into her car and leaving, watching Lyla's car drive off and turning back to the farmhouse.

That's when JD striked, grabbing hold of Ben and surprising the man.

"Ben Turner!" JD said, holding his sword to the man's neck. "On my Earth, you and your family caused me a lot of trouble."

"What? You're from the multiverse," Ben said, trying to fight off the grip of the man in the mask.

"My world is gone," JD snapped. "But I will continue my work here."

"Who are you?" Ben asked.

"Your worst nightmare. But you can call me Deathstoke!" and with that JD thrust the sword into the man, pulling it from the body as Ben Turner dropped to the floor. He may have lost the League of Assassins but he needed others if he had any shot of taking on this world Justice League

Post Chapter Note: Any guesses on who JD/Deathstroke is? This is more foreshadowing other plots for the future involving other Arrow characters... I hope you enjoyed this Arrow-centric chapter with some Legends undertones, co-written by Sigma!
