The Return of Galactic Conquest
-January 13th 2022-
On the Waverider, Rip said looking over the timeline; the Hunters had been making sure the timeline intact, with no flux around this event.
"Well seems our worry was for nothing. The conflict with Galactic Conquest goes smoothly," Rip was saying. "We don't need to interfere. Did the Legends take care of all those smaller fluxes?"
"They were all fixed," Gideon confirmed, "with no problems."
"We could warn the Legends to be on alert for this one," Jonas pointed out.
"It wouldn't hurt the timeline if some people got to ships a little faster," Miranda added, Rip looking between the two of them.
"Gideon, let the Legends know to be on alert today for a non-war emergency. If they can get near where spaceships are for a fast response it would be helpful," Rip instructed, conceding to his wife and son. Honestly, he kind of wanted to join in on the fight and fire at the ship himself, but he knew that would be too much interference from them.
"Message sent and received," Gideon spoke.
"Now we need to look at the end of the war," Rip said, knowing the war ending was all they had left. "The worst flux of them all now…"

Barry had taken Kara to STAR early in the morning as Caitlin called them, leaving all four girls with Amelia. Barry didn't like dragging Kara around so close to when she was going to give birth, but at least the dizziness from Alura and Nora's pregnancy hadn't returned this time; in fact, Kara was much better this time, and Barry wondered and kind of hoped the baby would be born tomorrow, on his birthday.
"What's going on?" Barry, however, asked as he sat Kara down and then noticed two people he didn't know in the room; one was a woman with red hair and another was a brunette male.
"This is Myand'r and Luand'r," Caitlin said, nodding at the male as he introduced them, the male being Myand'r and the female being Luand'r. "They are the King and Queen of Tamaran. Star's biological parents. Yes, I checked their DNA before calling you just to make sure."
"Oh," Barry said, and could feel a pit forming in his and Kara's stomach. "We… we never expected you to show up here. What with Galactic Conquest..." They remembered the deal Kara had made with Galactic Conquest when she had won – as long as Star stayed with them and wasn't returned to Tamaran she was free. The two had to know that.
"Galactic Conquest has been defeated," Luand'r spoke. "We have provided video proof."
"Gideon," Caitlin called, and a video showed on the screen of the Galactic Conquest ship being destroyed on an alien world unfamiliar to them. "Seems they bit off more than they can chew."
"We have come for our daughter," Myand'r said, abruptly.
"How's Blackfire?" Kara countered.
"Who?" Luand'r asked.
"Your other daughter. The one I fought," Kara said, putting her hand on her stomach as the baby kicked.
"Komand'r," Luand'r corrected Kara. "She is back at home, waiting."
"Bring us to our daughter," Myand'r stated, and this was completely a demand.
"Now see here, you're not King here! Give us a moment," Barry said, not liking the man's tone. Why don't I like them? Barry thought to Kara.; ever since laying eyes on them, he had a feeling of mistrust and suspicion.
Because they want to take away our daughter, Kara thought sadly to Barry, having those feelings too. But do we have the right to keep them away. She is their daughter too.
Barry didn't like it but gave a nod.
"Fine," Barry said aloud. "Follow us."

Amelia was setting up some videogames for the kids so they could have fun before doing school work. Barry and Kara ran in, surprising the woman – especially as two unfamiliar adults appeared behind them.
"Star!" Barry called, putting Kara down, having carried her back. "There are some people here to see you..." Star got off the couch and looked at the two new adults but stepped back shocked when she realized the two other adults.
"Mom, dad?" Star said, shocked.
"Koriand'r," Luand'r smiled, and Star ran forward to hug them. Kara watched them give a hug but it didn't seem like the way Kara would hug her kids. It didn't seem as warm. "Galactic Conquest has been defeated. We have come to bring you home."
"Come along," Myand'r said, grabbing Star's arm in a way Barry didn't like.
"Whoa, hang on," Barry said, moving forward and putting a hand on Myand'r chest; his other arm on Star, using his powers to phase Star out of Myand'r hold. Barry wasn't sure if this attitude was just because they were a King and Queen and were used to their way, but he wasn't allowing it in his house to his daughter. "Just hold on just a second there," Barry turned around to Star and got down on one knee, so they were eye level. "Star, you're nine-year-old now. You're not a little kid anymore and you have a choice here. It does seem Galactic Conquest has been defeated, so you are free now to return to your planet and parents. We won't stop you, but if you want to stay with us you can. It's up to you."
"No, it is not. We're her parents," Luand'r said, "we shall be taking her home regardless of her choice."
"We're her parents too!" Kara added, annoyed at the attitude. "You haven't been in her life for a while. We're the ones who have been with her, raising her, and we're letting her decide."
"I am king of Tamaran," Myand'r countered.
"Good for you," Kara responded dryly.
"Well, this is Earth," Barry countered. "You are nothing here. This is our planet. We are the leaders of the Justice League."
"Star can't leave," Romana voiced; Amelia had been keeping the other girls back, Winn having come up to help her with Alura and Nora. Romana was looking over the couch at the group, tears in her eyes. "She's my sister."
"Star!" Alura and Nora yelled, understanding what was going on and not wanting to lose her either.
"I… I… I don't know," Star said looking between her Earth family and her biological parents.
"Koriand'r, you're a Princess," Luand'r said, looking down on Star. She was definitely the softer of the two parents. "You're a Princess. Your people need you. You have responsibilities."
"She's a child," Barry countered.
"A child who is a member of the Royal Family," Luand'r stated.
"A child who is a member of my family," Barry said back.
"Stop," Star said not wanting them to argue. "I'll go."
"Are you sure?" Barry asked; he was still on his knees to be eye level with Star.
Star slowly nodded. "I am a Princess. It's the right thing," Star said and Barry put his arms around her giving her a hug.
"Good, let's go," Myand'r said curtly.
"What's the rush?" Kara asked them. "We'll plan a party. Say goodbye to her properly."
"We need to get back to our people," Myand'r said, going to pull Star.
"At least let her pack some stuff," Barry argued; the two parents seemed unsure, but gave a nod, Barry bringing Star up the stairs and giving her a suitcase.
"Take Pooh," Romana said, having come up after them and took the Pooh stuff animal off her bed and handed it to her sister. Then she hugged Star and Star hugged back, both having tears in their eyes before breaking it off.
The three headed downstairs at this as Amelia and Winn waiting, both bringing Star into a hug. "We love you," Amelia said.
"Remember us," Winn said.
"Always, Uncle Winn," Star said, now hugging Amelia as Alura and Nora came up and hugged her.
"Don't go," both said as Star hugged them.
"I've got to," Star said, giving both a kiss and then turned to Kara. At this, Kara opened her arms and Star going to hug her; Kara kissing her head.
"You'll always be a part of this family," Kara said to her and then took her hand, putting it on her stomach, letting Star feel the baby kick. "Your little sibling says goodbye." Star kissed Kara's stomach and then turned to her biological parents.
"Come," Luand'r said coolly, having waited as they took Star and then left, taking to the air from the balcony as they flew away.
The family watched them leave until they could no longer see them; Romana, Aura, and Nora were the first to break down and Kara and Barry took the three into their arms, sitting on the couch. Amelia sat on a chair and started to cry herself as Winn leaned against the wall trying to stop himself from crying as well.
"It all happened so fast…" Winn voiced.
"Maybe we should call Rae and ask her to cook for us to cheer us up?" Barry asked, but no one seemed excited about the idea. Barry himself didn't know if he could eat anyway.
"Kara, Barry," the two hadn't been paying attention but turned to see their Green Lanterns, Jon, and Jade, now standing in the Penthouse. "We need to talk to you. It's about Galactic Conquest."
"We know. They have been defeated," Barry said, surprised at their appearance. They must have teleported directly into the Penthouse with their Lantern powers.
"Who told you that?" John asked making everyone pause at this. "Since your defeat of them, they have lost some face, being forced to give up one of their champions, but they are still there. We wanted to tell you they are back in this solar system. By the moons of Jupiter."
"They faked the video…" Barry and Kara said at the same time. "But…?" realization passed through the group.
They're bringing her back to Galactic Conquest! Kara thought. I'll rip their heads off.
"Sweetie, you're pregnant. Let me rip their heads off," Barry said aloud, confusing John and Jade as he took out his communicator. "Caitlin, have Myand'r and Luand'r left with Star yet?"
"They have," Caitlin said.
"Can we stop them?" Barry asked. "Anything here or in Watchtower?"
"They are already too far for that. Why?" Caitlin asked.
"Gideon transfer my message to the entire League," Barry said. "This is the Flash. Be alert as Star's biological parents have kidnapped our daughter to return her to Galactic Conquest. We're getting her back. Everyone in the League, get to a ship – whether at STAR Metropolis or even from a military base. Mother Nature, contact J'onn. Mars might still be rebuilding, but their ships are still faster than ours. Superman, you have a ship in your Fortress, right?"
"Already on my way," Clark said.
"Me and Atom will meet you there. We're getting my daughter back," Barry said.
"I'm going to go to the DEO. See if we can do anything," Winn said already running out.
"Take me with you," Amelia said and Barry saw she was in her superhero outfit and had the death totem out. "I can help." Barry gave a nod at his sister.
"Barry?" Caitlin asked over the communicator, Barry knowing it was just him and Caitlin talking now, she sounded worried and confused.
"They fooled us," Barry stated. "I had a bad feeling about this. Galactic Conquest aren't gone – they're nearby and those so-called parents must have made a deal to give Star back to them."
"I'll rip their heads off," Caitlin countered, darkly, over the coms, causing Barry to pause; despite the situation, the fact Caitlin thought the same as them was funny.
"Don't worry, we'll be doing that first," Barry stated, summoning his Speed Force outfit as he turned to his Lanterns. "John, Jade we know there is a limited amount you can do against Galactic Conquest…." Barry started.
"We don't care," both said at the same time.
"We'll grab Hal and keep them in place until you arrive," John said and both Green Lantern left in a glow of green. With that, Barry took Amelia and ran out.
"Mama Kara, is Star going to be… okay?" Romana asked, clearly scared and Kara brought all three girls close.
"We'll get her," Kara said, half to reassure her daughters and half to calm herself.
If there was a time she wanted to go and help more, it was now. No one messed with her children.

The minute they had left Earth, Star's parents had gotten worst; they threw her suitcase and even Pooh out into space! Then to top it off, she recognized the familiar ship with which they docked as she was brought into Galactic Conquest's ship again and promptly returned to a cell with her sister. Blackfire chuckling, however, as she cried.
"You really thought you would stay away?" Blackfire mused.
Star didn't respond as she looked up and but was shocked to see Barry there; she opened her mouth looking at him, but the man put a finger over his mouth telling Star to remain quiet. He then appeared right next to her. "You're the only one who can see me," the image of Barry said, "because that's the way the bearer of the Death Totem wants it." Star's eyes went wide. "I'm not your Barry, but I could have been. They're coming to get you. Things might get a little bumpy, but I will be staying here with you until you're safe."
That was when the ship shook.
"What was that?" Blackfire asked.
"Someone is firing on the ship," an older alien in the cell next to them said. "Who would dare fire on Galactic Conquest?"
-Karry Universe-
Rox, the leader of Galactic Conquest, was with Luand'r and Myand'r in the main bridge of her ship. She was impressed.
"Our next stop will be Tamaran where we will keep our end of the deal," Rox was saying but stopped as the ship shook.
"We're under attack," one of Rox's crew said.
"Galactic Conquest!" A voice spoke over coms. "This is J'onn J'onzz of the Martian Defense Squad. This space is property of the Earth-Mars alliance. You are trespassing. Return the child you took from Earth and leave."
"How did they…?" Rox stated before glancing to Luand'r and Myand'r. "The Justice League," she scowled.
"What are your orders?" A crew member now asked Rox.
"Just get out of here," Rox demanded and as the ship went to move, but they suddenly stopped. "What's going on?"
"Green Lanterns are blocking our way," was the response from the same crew member.
"Green Lanterns, what are you doing?" Rox asked, now on the coms, seeing three Lanterns floating near the ship.
"You heard the man. Return Star Allen and then you can leave," John said.
"This is a breach of Lantern-Conquest regulations," Rox pointed out.
"You violated any treaty when you kidnapped the child who was freed from your sick game," Jon stated.
"So be it. Fire!" Rox ordered, turning to her crew members, ordering them to fire upon the Lanterns.

Barry was on a ship with Clark; he was wearing Ray's extra Atom suit and Ray was giving him a quick tutorial on how to use it. Amelia was sitting in the ship and seemed almost in a trance – her death totem was glowing, and Barry wondered exactly what she was doing.
"We're here," Clark said, and Barry could see the Martian ships and the three Green Lanterns already responding to Galactic Conquest, who was firing on them.
"You're going to need to get us close for this plan to work," Ray informed him.
"Also need to set up forcefields so I can open the doors to let you two out without killing me and Amelia," Clark pointed out as Barry saw some of the STAR Co.-made ships arriving. They normally would take much longer to get here at standard speed the ships used, but the Justice League had forced them to maximum for this trip. "Okay, we're good," Clark had sorted the forcefields, "you can open the doors when we're lined up."
"The suits aren't technically made for space, but they will work to keep us alive," Ray said as Clark was getting the ship close to Galactic Conquest, firing on them as he did. "When we leave, use the boosters to get closer to the ship and the magnetic boots to attach to the outside."
"Then I'll phase us in," Barry completed with a nod. "We're ready. Open the doors."
The doors to the ship opened with no explosive decompression thanks to the forcefields, and the two left the ship. They were in space for a minute, but both used the boosters on their suits to direct them to the Galactic Conquest ship – both pushing a button at the same time, and their boots connected to Galactic Conquest ship's exterior, keeping them there. The ongoing space battle between themselves with the Green Lanterns and Galactic Conquest was keeping the lead ship distracted.
"We need to get in now," Ray said, checking on their air.
"Not a problem," Barry said, putting a hand on Ray's shoulder and phasing them both into the ship. They instantly surprised some guards, but Barry knocked one out with speed as Ray shot at the other one. "We're in." Barry communicated to the rest of the League. "Keep Galactic Conquest here as we find Star."
"How do we do that again?" Ray asked.
"Maybe we can help," a familiar voice surprised the two as, before them, appeared the ghostly forms of Martin Stein and Jax Jackson.
"Amelia Allen has brought several of us back to assist. As she should," Martin's ghost informed them.
"We have been investigating the ship. I can lead you to your daughter," Jax said.
"And Mr. Palmer, I can bring you to a console where you can hack the ship's computer," Martin added.
"Works for me," Barry said, giving Ray a nod as he followed the Jax's ghost while Ray followed Martin.
Barry was led to where they kept the prisoners and, after a moment of deciding how best to do this, Barry ran as he knocked out guards and used the weapons in the Atom suit as well to get them all out as fast as possible.
"Over here," Jax called, standing in front of one cell.
"Star?" Barry said, running in front of it and taking off the helmet.
"Daddy!" Star said, jumping up and running forward but a forcefield was between them.
"I don't believe it," the other occupant of the cell remarked – Barry remembered Blackfire from before but ignored her.
"Atom, open the cell," Barry instructed now, not be able to phase through energy like this and hoping Ray had got to the command center.
….
"Going to have to give me a moment," Ray responded, having to fight and knock out several people in the control room Martin brought him to before taking a seat. "This is an alien computer system. It's going to take me some time to do this on my own."
"Maybe I can help?" Ray froze, then turned to see Felicity Smoak standing beside him in ghost form. Ray was shocked to see his ex-girlfriend, who was definitely dead.
"I think if we do this, we can break their security system," another voice spoke, and a ghost of Cisco was standing there, pointing.
"Wait, you're not dead," Ray said, now pointing at Cisco. "You're just in the future."
"Your Cisco is, but I'm from Millie's original world," Cisco said. "Other Karry. Let's hack this security system."
"Death Totem is freaky, but also helpful," Ray said as he started to take the two geniuses' suggestions.
…
"Ray hurry up," Barry urged.
"Give me, Felicity, and Cisco just another moment," Ray said, and Barry tried not to smile at the fact Felicity and a Cisco were helping Ray from beyond the grave. "And it will open… now!"
The forcefield on Star and Blackfire's cell went down, and Star jumped into Barry's arm; Barry picking up his daughter. At nine, she was getting a little too big and heavy to carry but Barry didn't care as Star cried into him and put his legs around his waist. Barry holding her tight.
"We need to go – now," Barry said, moving back and then looking at the other teenager standing in the cell. The last time Barry had seen her she had been about 13, but now she was closer to 17 or 18. "Are you coming?"
"You're taking me?" Blackfire asked, taken aback.
"Yes," Barry said. "Get out here," Barry held out one hand to her and Blackfire stepped out and took the hand.
"You know, a lot of people here are very angry," Jax's ghost said. "And I know anger."
"Ray, open up all the cells," Barry said, giving the ghost a nod and deciding he wasn't leaving anyone behind as soon all the forcefields keeping the prisoners in dropped. "Well, come on, don't you know a prison break when you see it! Let's go," he urged as many prisoners hesitated.
"Prison break, I like that," it was Leonard Snart's ghost now, giving Barry a smirk.
Barry waved to him as he led everyone out.
"Can someone lead me to the shuttle bay?" Barry asked.
"On it," Snart's ghost said, getting in front of Barry and leading him.
"I'll meet you there," Ray's voice said over coms.
"See you in a minute," Barry responded.
When he ran into the shuttle bay, Barry noted that there were many smaller ships lined up but paused when he saw Rox there with Star's biological parents, obviously trying to escape. Barry was still holding Star and tightened his hold.
"We had a deal," Rox called, stopping at seeing Barry arrive. "As long as she didn't leave…"
"Our deal didn't include you sending her biological parents to lie and kidnap her," Barry countered. "Our deal is over, and I get her doing this, but you? Your daughter was safe." Barry turned to look at Myand'r and Luand'r. "How could you?"
"She was lost to us for a long time," Luand'r said. "Maybe you don't understand but when a planet loses to Galactic Conquest whatever is left when Galactic Conquest is done is destroyed. Our people suffering. Our son… The only child they left us. So, when they offered us food and supplies for our people in exchange for returning her to them, we jumped at it."
"And we will now do the same to Earth," Rox said. "You are…."
"Oh, you think you're all that? The big bad Galactic Conquest," Barry snapped. "Well, I've got news for you. I have seen other worlds. I have seen them destroy this ship and you. You're not all powerful. I am the Flash, one of the Leaders of the Justice League. Half the Paragon of Love – I brought back the entire multiverse. I am the child of the Speed Force, one of the Seven Forces of the Universes. I am more powerful than you will ever be and here is what I say. This TV show is cancelled!"
As Barry said that the prisoners that had ran behind him cheered and a shot hit into Rox, knocking her back. It was Ray appearing in his Atom suit.
"Hey, I wanted to do that," Barry complained.
"You were taking too long with that whole 'savior of the multiverse' speech," Ray said as he also fired at Star's biological parents before they could jump into a ship themselves.
"But it's true," Barry pointed out.
"And unnecessary in situations like this," Ray remarked. "Come on though; I hacked the ship's engine to blow up – we need to go now. Get in the Daxamite ship."
"Which one is Daxamite?" Barry asked, following Ray into the ship anyway as the released prisoners all jumped into other ships. Blackfire had followed them and down in a seat. "Star, sweetie, I need to put you down," Barry was still holding onto the child.
Star gave a nod as Barry put her into a chair and took a seat next to Ray. "Any idea how to drive this?" Ray asked.
"Not a clue," Barry said.
"I do," another voice said, and both turned to see a ghost standing behind them.
"King Lar?" Barry asked, remembering the man who was Mon and Romana's biological father. Amelia really was pulling out all the stops for this one with her Death Totem.
"You took care of my daughter. Let me help you here," Lar said, and Barry shrugged, letting Lar explain to Ray how to operate the ship and helping get them through the open shuttle bay doors, along with many other ships.
Once free of the Galactic Conquest ship, Barry knew to send a message out to not fire on their ships leaving. It was only a matter of seconds after that, that there was an explosion on board the Galactic Conquest ship, their viewscreen showing part of the ship exploding and the rest of it seeming to crash into one of the moons.
"You destroyed them!" Blackfire pointed out, shocked and pleased.
"Said I would," Ray stated.
"Including my parents…" Blackfire pointed out.
"They could have escaped," Ray countered, "that stun didn't last long. Who knows?"
"I hope they're dead," Blackfire decided. "They were horrible."
Barry had to silently agree at this. He could never imagine using one child to bargain for another – even if their story about their son was even true. They may never know now.
"Let's send a message to everyone," Barry voiced, switching his coms back on to a frequency everyone could hear. "Justice League, Martians, Lanterns, we got Star back and destroyed Galactic Conquest. Thank you for all the assistance. To everyone who escaped Galactic Conquest, the ships you escaped in are yours to keep. If you need medical or help calling home planets, Earth and Mars are willing to help. If you have no home to go to, Earth can be your home too. Justice League, get to the remains of the Galactic Conquest ship – collect as much as you can and look for survivors. Superman, lets trade Atom for Phantom Justice."
"Sounds like a plan," Clark said back, chuckling at Amelia's hero name.
"And J'onn, thanks for coming," Barry added.
"Always," J'onn replied back as Barry went to get his sister on this ship.
-Karry Universe-
After parking the Daxamite ship at STAR Metropolis and telling Victoria Stone, who was there, that the Justice League was giving it to the Allens to study, Barry ran into the Penthouse, carrying Star. Blackfire had flown in after him; she was carrying Amelia.
"Is Amelia, okay?" Kara had to ask as Barry put Star in her arms and Kara took the crying girl, while Blackfire put Amelia down on the couch.
"Just a bit tired," Amelia mumbled, sitting up woozily on the couch now. "Too much use of the Death Totem... exhausted… it's nothing big… I'll recover… I did worse on New Justice a couple of months ago. That time I nearly died. Please, take care of Star," Amelia kissed Star's head before going down the stairs, planning on going to bed.
"Blackfire," Barry said, not remembering her real name. "You can go down the stairs too."
"Thanks," Blackfire gave a shrug, "and it's Komand'r, just so you know," and with that, she went downstairs.
Are we adopting her too now? Kara asked as Romana had come to hug Star. Alura and Nora as well jumped on top of their sister, and Barry sat on Kara's other side.
Not a clue, Barry thought back, wondering what was going to happen with Blackfire.
"Hey, Star, you're back," Kara said softly. "You're safe."
"They… they threw out Pooh and everything I loved," Star said.
"Well, that Pooh's now having epic space adventures," Kara countered. "Winnie the Pooh: Space Cadet," Kara half-joked, to a small smile from Star, but Barry had already run out and returned a moment later with a new Pooh doll, which Star grabbed, hugging it tight.
"I'm sorry mommy, daddy, I should have chosen you," Star whimpered.
"They didn't really give us all much of a choice," Kara pointed out.
"Hey, none of us knew they were plotting to return you," Barry said putting a hand on Star's face. "We all believe that Galactic Conquest was destroyed back then. Well, now it is and the important thing is we got you back."
-Karry Universe-
That night, Kara and Barry lay in bed with Star sleeping between them. Neither adult could sleep, and it was approaching the early hours of the morning. Star was clearly having bad dream as she snuggled next to Kara.
You realize she dropped the Mama Kara and Papa Barry since we got her back and is only calling us mom and dad? Kara thought to Barry.
When your birth parents kidnap you and return you to hell, you don't consider them anymore, Barry thought back. Oh crap. A thought accorded to Barry.
What? Kara thought.
I need to call New Justice, Barry thought back grabbing his cellphone.
What?! Kara thought, not following that line of thought.
They have a Star they took from Galactic Conquest same as us. She lives on Themyscira and goes by her birth name. What if they try the same there? Barry thought. And they don't have Green Lanterns anymore to warn them. I need to. Barry had left the room and Kara gave a shrug.
-Karry Universe-
On New Justice, Rae groaned as she heard her cellphone ring and grabbed it from the nightstand.
"What?" Rae answered the phone.
"Is your Star okay?" Barry asked back.
"Barry, do you know what time it is?" Rae asked, back ignoring the question as she rubbed her eyes and looked at the time. It was 1am in the morning.
"Not going to ask what Barry it is?" Barry asked.
"There's only one world that has a Kori and call her Star. You're Karry," Rae said back as she pushed Clarky off of her. The dog giving a moan before going to snuggle with Kara.
"And is your Star okay?" Barry repeated the question.
"She's on Themyscira. She's being raised by Queen Emma and Prince Jace," Rae commented back.
"I know that," Barry groaned. "Look, if her biological parents show up, don't let them take her. Shoot them out of the sky," Barry said.
"What?" Rae asked, not following this conversation.
"Star's parents tried to just kidnap her and bring her back to Galactic Conquest," Barry said. "We barely got her back. So, if your Star's parents come, don't trust them."
"Okay, I got it. Blow them out of the sky," Rae said. "Is Star okay?"
"A little scared but we got her. I'm going to return to bed," Barry said.
"Barry if you need me," Rae said. "I'm here."
"I know," Barry said.
"Oh, and happy birthday," Rae added.
"Thanks," Barry said before hanging up.
"Everything okay?" Kara mumbled from her spot next to Rae.
"Apparently Galactic Conquest tried to get Star back, so they are not only fighting Atlantis on Earth, but Galactic Conquest in space," Rae said, putting her phone down as she said it. "I wish they would let me help."
"Ah well, get back to sleep," Kara said, putting an arm on Rae.
"No, I'm up now and hungry," Rae said, getting out of the bed. "Going to go make myself a snack. Want anything?"
"I'm good," Kara said as she leaned into the pillow, letting Rae go.
Rae worked fast in the kitchen, getting a sandwich together and putting on some hot chocolate. She cut the sandwich in half and then turned to put the hot chocolate in a cup.
"Good sandwich!" A voice spoke, and Rae frowned to see Accord sitting on the counter eating half of Rae's sandwich.
"It all has to do with the bread… Hey wait!" Rae said realizing Accord was eating her sandwich.
"Very good hot chocolate," another voice spoke, and Rae now turned to see Gal standing there in his black Superman suit, drinking the hot chocolate.
"I melt… Wait what?" Rae said, stopping herself looking between the two. "Okay, I know it was my idea to make you the Monitor and Anti-Monitor, but is there any reason the two of you are in my kitchen… eating my food and drinking my drink?"
"The question is why are you in your kitchen?" Accord countered.
Rae blinked at her and then turned to Gal. "Are you the one in this duo that make sense?" Rae asked him.
"You should be on Karry Universe," Gal said making Rae shake her head.
"Apparently not," Rae said to herself.
"Karry are fighting Atlantis," Accord said, making Rae turn back to her. "You have two Atlanteans on your team. You should be there helping them end this war. Not here making sandwiches and hot chocolate."
"Karry Universe has not asked for my help," Rae pointed out. "It's the multiverse code of honor. Prime almost broke that a few weeks back. I can't help them if they don't ask."
"But Karry Universe is much more than another world to you," Gal pointed out. "Karry Barry is more the brother you wish your Barry was than any other Barry. And didn't their Amelia recently almost die for your world? A true sister to you as well."
"Karry Universe is family," Accord pointed out. "And you're going to let a code of honor stop you from helping them when you owe them so much? Without them would you have stopped your Barry. Would you be with Kara, would Leona be born?" Accord moved forward, taking the entire plate with the sandwich. "You owe them so much. You can't not help."
At that both Accord and Gal disappeared, taking the sandwich and hot chocolate with them. Rae stood there thinking over what they had said.
"Okay," it was Kara appearing. "I got curious and due to that hungry. What are we eating?"
