New Justice Rae Saves the Day
-Still January 14th 2022-
"I can't believe it," Rip explained, looking over the timeline. "Rachel Garrick is fixing everything. You've got to love Rachel Garrick."
"Wasn't she going to be the death of him not long ago?" Jonas asked his mother.
"Time can change," Miranda answered as a response and had to giggle at that. "We still need the Legends to make sure she stays in charge of the League, though."
"They've been called into the full League meeting," Rip said with a nod.
"What about Kara and Kent?" Jonas asked again. "Gideon, you have said before you can see into the multiverse via their system?"
"Only the future," Gideon responded. "To get current data I would need to connect to the current system and to Prime's own A.I. Do you want me to attempt?"
"No Gideon, we can't reveal ourselves," Rip said. "Let's keep our eyes on the war and cross our fingers for luck on Kara and Kent."
-Karry Universe-
On Prime, Barry and Kara were in their Cortex with their Green Lantern Kal.
"Thank you for inviting me to the party today," Kal said to Barry. "And happy birthday!"
"Thanks," Barry responded. "If we didn't invite you and the rest of the House of El, your grandparents would kill us."
"That's a good point," Kal mused. "Well, Kara, it's been a pleasure, as always."
"Always," Kara repeated with a smile. "Now you should…"
"Incoming portal from Karry Universe," Vis's voice interrupted Kara.
"Really?" Kara asked, a bit surprised; they hadn't really heard from Karry Universe since their little misunderstanding; they were sure it was water under the bridge now but figured they would give them some time anyway.
"They're probably coming for Krypto," Barry shrugged; Krypto was sitting with Powie, having arrived early yesterday. It wasn't really unusual for either dog to switch Earths and hang out for a day or two. Krypto cocked his ears at his name.
The three were surprised when Barry and Caitlin appeared, the former holding Kara. Krypto immediately ran up, giving a concerned bark.
"What happened?" Prime Kara asked.
"Her powers are going haywire. They are hurting both her and the baby. All conventual ways to weaken or take away Kryptonian powers are not working. The only thing I can think of is getting her out of the yellow sun completely. We need to bring her to Krypton," Caitlin said as fast as she could.
Kal was fast and grabbed Kara from Barry. "I can only bring one more," Kal said.
"Take Caitlin," Karry Barry said, knowing Caitlin was more important than him right now. Kara and their baby needed their doctor. Kal put and arm around Caitlin they were gone in a flash of green light.
With her gone, Karry Barry finally fell to the floor and tears appeared in his eyes.
"Hey," Prime Barry said, crouching down beside his double as Krypto came up to lick his Barry in comfort.
"This is my fault," Karry Barry admitted, putting his arms around his dog. "Her powers went haywire because I needed to use them through our bond. To end the war with Atlantis. It was the only way but…."
"Then it's Atlantis's fault," Kara said to him. "Not yours. Come on. Green Lanterns can teleport right to Krypton but we need to go to Ceres and then to Krypton. It can sometimes take a while."
Karry Barry gave a nod and stood up. "Show me how," Karry Barry said.
"Wait, do you need one of us to go back to your world and help with the war?" Prime Barry asked, concerned about that. "Or the end of the war?"
"Don't worry. I left Rae in charge of the Justice League," Karry Barry said. "Let's go." He ran out with Krypto following.
"Doesn't ask for help but leaves Rae in charge of the Justice League," Prime Barry said with a knowing look to Kara, who just shrugged. She didn't have time to reply though as Karry Barry came back with Krypto in tow.
"Erm, I kind of don't know where I am going," Karry Barry said and the two from Prime almost laughed, indicated for him to follow them.
-Karry Universe-
In Watchtower, New Justice Rae stood where Kara and Barry normally would as Karry Universe's Justice League, plus a stranded Zari and Mon came in. Kayla was there too and sat near Mon, who put an arm around her. Her Aquas were standing towards the back of the room, and she was still holding Arthur's trident.
"Erm, so Aqualad and Aquagirl's alternates have been given over to the DEO," Rae started. "While King Arthur is currently tied down in a room here. So, let's get to business. First things first, why exactly am I in charge? Where's your second?"
"Second?" Sara spoke up at this, somewhat bemusing Rae, given she was her third back on her world.
"Well Kara and Barry are co-leader of the League. We don't really a have second but I guess Kara could be considered first and Barry second," Jesse pointed out.
"Okay, so no third?" Rae asked.
"I think you would be third officially now," Ray said and sneakily gave Laurel a wink, both knowing Rae needed to stay and help.
"Clark…? Diana?" Rae asked.
"No," Clark said shaking his head.
"At one time I would have jumped at the chance to be leader but since the death of my people I do not desire it anymore," Diana said giving Rae a nod.
"I really don't want to lead the League with both my personal and work life stressful enough," Clark half-joked, Diana putting a hand on her friend's shoulder, knowing Clark was referring to Jason more than anything.
"Sara?" Rae asked turning to her own third.
"Oh, hell no," Sara said with a shake of her head. "You couldn't pay me to lead the League."
"Barry left you in charge," Laurel spoke. "You're leader." Rae looked around and saw how everyone in the League agreed.
"If my alternate had survived, she'd be running this place by now," Rae muttered and saw Connor look down. She instantly felt sorry for mentioning it. "Well, good thing leading a Justice League is something I am good at." Rae finally took a seat. "Aquas, give me a report on what happened in Atlantis."
The two had obviously been waiting for this. "King Arthur has been lied to and misled by his brother, Orm," Aqualad said immediately, and Rae had to groan. She hated Atlantis politics and she had a feeling she knew where this was going.
"Orm told Arthur all that stuff about Barry and Kara to make him attack the land," Rae guessed.
"Orm has been the one dictating targets. He convinced Arthur to challenge Barry to a fight to the death," Selena said. "It's a ploy to get the Throne."
"Orm has always been too weak to take Arthur on himself. He found the people who could take him on and convinced Arthur to pick a fight with them," Aqualad added.
"Make Arthur look like the boogeyman," Rae said. "Get the people powerful enough to take him out."
"With Arthur out of the way, only the Queen and Prince Arthur, plus the daughter they have on this Earth stands in Orm way of the Throne," Selena said. "And he will take them out. Once he does, this Earth's Atlantis will go the way of ours. Civil war. Rebellion. Those loyal to the Throne and those not loyal."
"Why do we care about civil war in Atlantis?" It was Static, a member Rae had no knowledge of, who asked this, but Rae could see some people agreeing.
"A civilization who has control of waters being in civil war cannot be good for the land," it was Zari who said it.
"It would not be if it got too violent and you have another issue. Atlantis must know by now that King Arthur was not killed," Aquagirl voiced. "He's still in Orm's way. Unless you publicly execute him, either Orm will try to get him killed or people will come to rescue him. The land will be dragged into this fight here – especially since Atlantis still believe you are horrible dictators."
"The best thing for both Atlantis and the land will be to show Arthur how wrong he is and put him back on his Throne," Rae mused, knowing Atlantis politics just a bit, although she could see the unsure faces. "If we don't, then not only will the Queen soon be killed, but Arthur's children will be too. Prince Arthur is like, what 9 now? I've lost track. And the daughter is even younger."
"I can't stand for kids being killed," Laurel said. "As a mother." Oliver took her hand and gave a nod.
"As a father I can't either," Ray spoke.
"As a mother as well," Sara added agreeing with her sister and slowly the entire League agreed.
"The question goes, how do we get Arthur to not believe what his brother told him and convince him of the truth?" Diana asked.
"Well, his alternate was a good friend of mine," Rae said, standing up now, not used to these type of meetings – back home, she was always on her feet leading her League, and she generally gave orders and ran off, instead. It worked well on her Earth though. "Okay, so let me push his buttons," Rae decided. "Gideon, I need a pad and for it to be connected to the multiverse system. My nerds decided to throw in a photo album there for some reason. It's working out now." From the center of the table a pad appeared. "I've never seen this type of pad before," Rae took the pad.
"STAR Co. made," Ronnie said.
"Interesting, Kayla, Superboy," Rae said. "I could use some Kryptonian muscle with me, just in case. Everyone else, patrol around the oceans. Just in case Atlantis tries to strike back. Oh, and will someone drop the Trident off at the DEO?" There were nods and yes as everyone started leaving, besides Kayla and Connor. Clark took the trident to bring it to the DEO while Rae barely blinking as Mon kissed Kayla goodbye.
"Kayla, remind me to tell my Kara you're in a relationship. If I don't, she'll yell at me for forgetting to tell her things again," Rae joked, and Kayla gave a giggle. "I need to talk to your leaders of the DEO first. If this all works out, we need a deal between the land and Atlantis." Rae had Gideon contact Ava and Alex Danvers to tell them her plans before they went to go talk to Arthur.
-Karry Universe-
Caitlin blinked as they appeared in the red sun but didn't have time to take it in as Kal ushered her into the building they were standing in front of. Caitlin recognized a hospital setting right away – even with advanced equipment, hospitals don't change.
"This is a member of the House of El," Kal called out as he placed Kara on a bed and what were apparently doctors and nurses stopped what they were doing and came running. Caitlin knew the House of El was important on Krypton from stories but seeing this reaction she was starting to get how important. They were yelling in a language Caitlin knew as Kryptonese.
"What is this device?" A doctor pointed at the equipment on Kara, still. Caitlin was surprise as he spoke in English but didn't let it throw her for long.
"It measures the solar energy in her system, but I don't understand. There's no yellow sun. Her powers should be down to zero," Caitlin said, noticing the powers were still reading the same. "We need to get the baby out of her." Caitlin ran besides the Kryptonian doctors and nurses as they lead her down a corridor.
"Who are you?" The same doctor asked.
"Her doctor," Caitlin replied, the other doctor nodded.
"Is the baby viable?" She was asked.
"Yes, in fact I was prepared for her to give birth any day," Caitlin said.
"Teleportation delivery," the doctor said as they entered a new room – there was a lot of equipment there Caitlin didn't even recognize. "We need to get the baby out."
"I can't get a lock on the baby," the person by one of the machines said, "there's too much energy coming from the child."
"Then take out the entire womb," the doctor stated back and Caitlin, blinked, shocked but after an affirmative was confirmed, and a moment later on a sterilized table a mass, what Caitlin knew was Kara's womb, appeared.
Caitlin didn't have time to think of how weird this was as she ran forward and took out her knife coded with Kryptonite; she cut open the womb easily enough now and took the baby out, still in its amniotic sack. Careful now, Caitlin gently slit the sack open, the fluid pouring out as the baby presented itself. But she knew there was something wrong instantly: The baby was still as a nurse took away the womb, he'd been encased in.
"I need a defibrillator," Caitlin demanded, but noticed the blank faces. "An electric shock to revive the heart."
"We don't use electricity anymore to revive people," Caitlin was told by a nurse.
"Well, he needs to be!" Caitlin pointed out not even waiting for the nurse to tell them what they did do. Caitlin knowing electricity was his best bet.
"Do what she says," a familiar voice spoke, and Caitlin turned to see Ema, the Birther Prime had brought to her Earth once, standing in the doorway. "She is his doctor. If the baby needs electricity to be revived, then get to it!"
It seemed that Ema had some clout with these doctors and nurses, because they did as instructed, bringing forth a small device barely the size of a finger and putting it on the baby's check to give the baby boy a mild shock. Caitlin saw the lightning behind his closed eyes and then he started to move.
"God bless the Speed Force," Caitlin sighed as she heard the baby start to cry and knew he would be fine – the Speed Force had needed the help to activate his powers earlier to the point they would heal him.
"Go to your Kara," Ema said to Caitlin and Caitlin turned around to where she'd last seen her unconscious friend.
The doctors were working on Kara, and she now seemed very pale. Caitlin checked her solar energy and was relieved to see it was down to zero now. "We injected nano bots to repair any damage but we fear it won't be fast enough to save her," the doctor told Caitlin.
Before Caitlin could respond, she was surprised as Gal in his black Superman outfit appeared next to her.
"Pariah?" Caitlin asked remembering him from Crisis.
"It's the Anti-Monitor now," Gal said knowingly, holding up his hand and Kara glowed. Caitlin wasn't sure what the machines the Kryptonian doctors had connected to her read, but she knew her friend was definitely stabilizing.
"She's healed!" The doctor said. "She still doesn't have a womb anymore, but all damage has been corrected. Her heart is beating well."
"You saved her," Caitlin said to Gal.
"The Paragon of Love cannot die right now," Gal said before disappearing himself, surprising Caitlin.
….
Caitlin came out into the waiting room where Kal still was, but Caitlin recognized Alura and paused at the blonde next to her, who must have been an older Kara. Caitlin was holding the little baby in her arms who was wrapped in a blanket with the House of El symbol on it. Ema had supplied the blanket.
"Thanks to the Speed Force the newest Karry baby is happy and healthy," Caitlin said as she rocked him. "A beautiful boy. Barry will be happy."
"Do you know his name?" The older Kara asked.
"No," Caitlin said. "Kara is still unconscious. She's the only one here who knows."
"Is she alright?" Alura asked.
"Thanks to Gal, yes," Caitlin said.
"Gal," all three Kryptonian asked together, seeming shocked.
"He came and cured her. Said the Paragon of Love cannot die now," Caitlin shrugged.
"He does have some unusual powers now," Kal said of his little brother; none of them fully understood what Gal exactly was anymore.
"Well then, I will arrange for her and him to be transferred to our ancestral home," Alura said as she smiled at the boy. "I think it will be better to get them out of a more public area."
"I agree," the elder Kara agreed with her mother.
"I'll take Caitlin and baby boy El there myself," Kal said with a nod. "Your Barry and our Kara and Barry are coming through Ceres."
"They'll be here soon then," the elder Kara acknowledged, Caitlin nodding at that.

Rae walked into the interrogation room where Arthur was sitting, his hands cuffed behind his back. His arm was still broken from when Barry broke it. Connor and Kayla followed behind her.
"Superboy, uncuff him," Rae said. Connor gave Rae a look but nodded and uncuffed Arthur. Rae tossed a bottle of water she had grabbed on her way in at Arthur. "For your injuries. I know that any type of water heals you."
"You seem to know about Atlantians," Arthur spoke, giving Rae a look as he used the bottle of water to heal his broken arm and other injuries he got from the battle. "What are you? The Flash's sister?"
"Yes and no," Rae said. "I'm also the Flash. I'm from the same Earth as the Kaldur and Selena you took hostage."
"So, you're the Flash they talked about," Arthur said. "Why isn't Supergirl the one running these questions?"
"Sorry buddy, not from this world either," Kayla said.
"This Earth's Supergirl is pregnant. This one has been covering for her throughout your war," Rae said. "But the Flash of this world left me in charge. And I know you Arthur," Rae took the pad she had been given and opened up the photos from her world, finding ones of her and her Arthur. "Well, I knew him. He was a good friend."
Rae turned the device around so Arthur could see the photos. "He wears the JL symbol too," Arthur said. "Albeit slightly different."
"Justice League," Rae stated. "He was a member of my League until he died." Rae flipped forward and found photos of Prince Arthur with her new League members. "Here's your son Arthur, with his adopted mother Laurel. After you died, Orm killed your wife and nearly got Arthur killed as well. We saved him and are hiding him until he's strong enough to take back your throne."
"And what of the Andrina of your world?" Arthur asked.
"She doesn't exist," Rae said. "You and your wife didn't have the chance to have her on my world. The point being, Orm is not a good guy. Your alternate trusted me. Can't you at least listen?"
"My brother has told me everything. He is my faithful servant," Arthur said.
"Okay then, we do this the hard way," Rae sighed, standing up. "Your brother the one who told you where to attack."
"Yes, attacking JL headquarter,' Arthur said. "The damage I have done to them…"
Rae laughed, cutting Arthur off. "Superboy, Supergirl, get him to his feet," Rae said and Connor and Kayla forced Arthur out of the chair. "Come." The two practically dragged Arthur, following Rae out of the room and towards the entrance of Watchtower. Opening the doors to what appeared to be wilderness but looking up was very different.
"Look." Rae directed Arthur to look up and pointed at the Earth.
"What?" Arthur asked.
"We're on the moon," Rae's voice got louder as she talked. "This is the Justice League base. It's completely out of the reach of your oceans there. Do you really think you did any damage to the Justice League?"
"They…" Arthur started.
"Not a single Justice League member was killed or even really hurt by your Atlantis attacks. None of their family touched. You weren't attacking them," Rae said, grabbing Arthur's shirt. "Let's show you what you really attacked…"
Rae ran out fast, taking the bigger Arthur with her.
"Are we supposed to follow…?" Connor asked Kayla.
"Yeah let's," Kayla said.
-Karry Universe-
"The scene of your first destruction," Rae said stopping at the former amusement park and took a moment to look around. On her Earth, this would be a bustling amusement park right now, but here it was still laying destroyed, rides swept out into the ocean and buildings crumbling – no one had bothered to renovate it when it was right by the waterfront and could be attacked again. "Welcome to Coney Island."
"Look at those things," Arthur said. He knew he could jump into the water and escape but he had lost the fight and he wanted to prove he was right. "Torture devices. We could hear the screams…"
"The screams you heard were fun screams," Rae said. "It's an amusement park. People scream in enjoyment on these rides. Look around. Here this's a game." Rae pushed Arthur towards one of those amusement parks games where you could test your strength. "And this destroyed equipment are rides. Families came here to have fun."
"No… it…" Arthur started.
"Look," Rae pointed at a wall, a memorial now that was decorated with printed pictures of the victims with flowers and other things. "A memorial wall for the ones who lost their lives here. Look at your victims. Look at the number of children who died here because of you!"
"The ones we couldn't save," it was Clark showing up with Kayla and Connor now. "I held onto these rides as best as I could to get people to safety. It just wasn't enough."
"We all did," Connor said.
Arthur was still looking at the memorial wall. "No, my brother…" Arthur said.
"Let's show you what else your brother had you attack," Rae said, this time letting the Supers grabbed hold of Arthur so he couldn't escape as they ran.
….
Rae had brought Arthur to several different public locations he had attacked and could see the alternate of her former friend start to crack.
"What now?" Arthur asked as they stopped at a large building.
"This use to be a school," Rae said – it was in fact Romana and Star's school. It had recently transformed into a shelter for those displaced by the war with Atlantis. That was the reason why the two were on virtual lessons. "Now it houses those who don't have a home due to you. Come and meet your victims."
"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Connor asked as Rae brought Arthur inside.
"He needs to see," Rae said as they went into the large gym where people were in cots; eyes turned to look at them. "Don't worry. He's not hurting anyone anymore. We just need to show him."
"You're a Flash too?" It was a little girl who asked it. "We've seen you on the news with our Flash," she pointed to a lone TV that was set up in the corner.
"Yes," Rae confirmed, turning to Kayla and Chris. Not sure how much of the multiverse this Earth knew or believed in, but they had seen her multiple times, obviously.
"Supergirl," another kid said, jumping at Kayla.
"Superman," others said to Clark having come with them. The kids surrounding the Supers who smiled and gave out hugs. A couple even recognized Connor as Superboy.
Arthur watched, seeming surprised. "You heard the cheers when the Flash beat you. The land loves them," Rae said pointing at the heroes. "The land loves their Justice League because their Justice League protects them. They protect them from small accidents, small crimes, and bigger problems, such as super villains – including you."
"I am not villain," Arthur protested.
"To them you are," Rae said nodding at the people. "You were tricked into doing this, Arthur, but it doesn't erase what you did. The lives that were lost, those are people who might be alive but lost everything due to you. And I only showed you ones in this country. You attacked places in Britain and an entire city in Japan and so much more. To them, you're the boogeyman because your brother tricked you into being the monster."
"He must have had a misunderstanding," Arthur tried, and Rae attempted not to smile. She had convinced Arthur the Justice League was not what he previously believed.
"No misunderstanding makes a group of heroes evil dictators. Your brother did this on purpose, hoping you would lose your life to the Flash," Rae said. "To make the only thing standing in the way of the throne the Queen and your children. They are in danger."
"I need to go back to Atlantis," Arthur said, but Rae put a hand on him, stopping him.
"Not so fast. There is one last thing that needs to be taken care of," Rae said, grabbing him again and running to the DEO base, the Supers only just freeing themselves from the public attention to know where she had taken Arthur.
Ava and Alex were both waiting for them though, Rae having talked to them before going to get to Arthur.
"So?" Rae asked wondering if the idea she had given them had worked out. Clark, Kayla and Connor arrived at this point.
"Well, it was difficult negotiation, but Alex managed to convince the President," Ava said.
"Who convinced other world leaders and the United Nations," Alex said. "We had to work fast on this."
"What?" Arthur asked.
"Atlantis has committed war crimes," Alex explained. "But with a good word from the Justice League and some negotiation, we have all agreed it should be Orm punished for these crimes – he's the only one who knew what he was doing. So, the deal is you go back to Atlantis and you bring Orm to us to be punished by international law."
"And remember, we still have your Kaldur and Selena," Ava added in. "Should Orm not be delivered to us, they will be the one to suffer the punishment."
Arthur looked down at this, and Rae knew he was conflicted. He loved his brother but was now angry he had been so misled by the man. He took a deep breath and the nodded.
"You shall have Orm by nightfall," Arthur muttered, and Rae took the Trident she had delivered here early and held it out to Arthur, who took it.
-Karry Universe-
Kara stirred and opened her eyes.
For a moment she thought she was still asleep as she recognized her room on Krypton. A room she only ever saw in dreams now. It took her a moment to realize that, no, she was awake. Then her hand went to her stomach.
"My baby!" Kara exclaimed, realizing the child was gone, her stomach was less big.
"He's fine," a familiar voice said, and Kara turned to see her mother sitting there. "He had to be removed for both of you to live, but he is healthy."
"Mom," Kara said, her mind catching up quickly. "I'm on Prime."
"You are," Alura said, leaning forward now. "And I want to apologize," Kara raised an eyebrow, "for bringing Ema all those months ago. I crossed a line between worlds I should not have. I think of all Karas in the multiverse as my daughter and it didn't occur to me I did not have a say because I am not your mother. Your mother is dead. If you will give me a second chance I promise to not cross anymore lines and ask if you want help before bringing it again."
Alura waited and smiled as Kara sat up and hugged her.
"Forgiven," Kara said. "I know what I said before. My reaction was… intense. You may not be my mother, but you are my mother… if that makes sense?"
"In a roundabout way," Alura chuckled.
"Now I want to see my baby," Kara stated.
"You might want to be careful…" Alura started as Kara jumped up.
"I feel fine," Kara said.
"Gal," Alura chuckled with a shake of her head. Once again in wonder of her nephew's powers as the two left the room.
…..
"You are not doing that right," Ema bemoaned at Caitlin as Caitlin was feeding the baby boy.
"What happened to 'she's his doctor'," Caitlin retorted, rocking the crying baby.
"Give him to me," Ema stated.
"Hey, I am also his aunt, technically," Caitlin said, not surrendering the baby so easily.
"Okay, that's it," it was older Kara who moved forward, taking the baby away from both women. "Neither of you are his mother," the elder Kara was surprised as the little baby calmed down in her arms. "That's interesting..."
"You look good with a baby," Da, the elder Kara's husband, said with a smile, having come at his Kara's request. "You know… it's not too late for us to have a third."
"I'm not sure Ty and Az would appreciate that," the elder Kara said as she rocked the baby.
"You know, technically you're not his mother either," a familiar voice said as Karry Kara came into the room. "Please, give me my baby."
"Of course," the elder Kara said.
"At least sit down please." Alura begged of Karry Kara, pulling out a chair that Kara sat in as her elder alternate gave her son over. "He is beautiful."
"He is," Karry Kara said with a smile and the baby cried a little, once more, but she rocked him and then a thought came to her as she sang: "Somewhere over the rainbow. Way up high. There's a land that I've heard of. Once in a lullaby. Somewhere over the rainbow. Skies are blue. And the dreams that you dare to dream. Really do come too."
Kara felt him in her head before she saw him; Krypto coming running in through the door to her as Barry joined her for the next verse: "Someday I'll wish upon a star. And wake up where the cloud are far behind me. Where troubles melt like lemon drop. Away above the chimney tops. That's where you'll find me."
Her Barry came closer to her, leaning on his knees next to her chair and to look at their baby. Prime's younger Kara and Barry stood back, coming in with Powie too, smiling. "Somewhere over the rainbow bluebirds fly. Birds fly over the rainbow. Why, then, oh, why can't I? If happy little bluebirds fly beyond the rainbow. Why, oh, why can't I?"
Karry Barry kissed his Kara's cheek.
"Meet your son," Karry Kara said.
"I've got a little boy," Karry Barry said with a smile. "Hey there…" Karry Barry bent down and was surprised as the boy's arms moved at superspeed. "Whoa, that's young for a speedster!"
"The Speed Force had to save him like it saved Rae when she was born," Caitlin explained. "So, his powers are active now."
"I guess you got a little Kid Flash there then," Prime Barry joked.
"Oh," Caitlin said at these words, eyes wide as she looked to her Kara and Barry. Krypto gave a bark, seeming to get it as well.
"No way!" Karry Kara said to Barry as an image of the teenager who had come years ago from the future and saved Karen came into both of their minds.
"Did we already meet you?" Karry Barry said to the boy. "Time traveling little bandit..." Prime Barry chuckled as he put an arm around his Kara. "But you are the best birthday present ever." Karry Kara handed the little baby over to her Barry to hold.
"There is something you should know," Caitlin spoke up now. "To get him out we had to teleport Kara's womb out of her body – and even though Gal healed her, he didn't revive her womb. It means Kara, you can't have any more kids naturally," Caitlin told the two.
"Well, he was meant to be our last," Karry Kara said.
"And he does make the number of kids we have up to five, including Star and Romana," Karry Barry pointed out.
"I think five is definitely more than enough," Karry Kara agreed. "But if we decide we want more, there's always artificial wombs or adoption available."
"Yeah... although can we…?" Barry started, but Caitlin cut him off with a chuckle.
"You can still have sex," Caitlin said causing many to chuckle. "I do think you should remain here at least overnight so we can monitor both the baby and Kara without powers."
"I actually insist," Alura said. "We can have a party here for both Barrys birthdays and to welcome a new El to the multiverse," at that, all agreed it was a good idea.
"We should know the name of the baby," Older Prime Kara said. "To welcome him properly."
"His human name is something we want to keep to reveal once we get home," Karry Kara said without hesitation. "But his Kryptonian name is Ken-El."
"Oh, I like that," Alura spoke. "Ken-El, son of Kara Zor-El…."
Actually, about his human name. We need to talk about that, Barry thought to Kara confusing her. At least his middle name. I want to change it.
Kara smile as she got Barry's idea and nodded. She liked it too.
-Karry Universe-
In Atlantis, Orm was in the Throne room with the Queen.
"Why did they not kill him?" The Queen asked. It had been on her mind since she heard the Flash had captured their king and not killed him. "As glad as I am they didn't…"
"Torturing him for information, should hope – I mean, expect. We should…" Orm started.
"Do not listen to a word Orm says," the voice surprised both of them as Arthur appeared through the door; his Trident in hand. "My brother is a liar." Arthur swam up. "You had me attack and kill children!" Arthur was already yelling, remembering all he had seen on the land.
"This is obviously one of their tricks," Orm dismissed. "Like the other Kaldur and Selena. This is our Arthur."
"My Queen," Arthur turned, more calmly, to his wife, "we have been through so much. I have my most private thoughts and feelings with you. You know it's me," Arthur said turning to his wife, who looked him over and then nodded.
"This is our king," the Queen said, not knowing how she knew but knowing it to be true in her heart.
"Guards… take my brother into cuffs. We shall be delivering him to the land soon," Arthur said and guards came to grab a shocked Orm.
"What happened?" The Queen asked as Orm was dragged way yelling that they could not do this.
"The Flash, Supergirl, the JL… they are not what Orm said they were. They are heroes., beloved by the land. We are the bad guys. We attacked places children played, children enjoyed," Arthur said and could see the look of horror on his wife's face. "We have made a great error. And we must now make it right."

Rae was waiting with the DEO where Arthur had said they would deliver Orm to; both Alex and Ava were there too, as were this Earth's Kaldur and Selena, who were still cuffed and waiting. "I hope this works out," Alex said to Rae.
"It will," Rae said just as an Atlantean guard appeared with Orm cuffed and even muzzled.
"From King Arthur. The prisoner talks too much, we took a precaution," the guard explained tentative to Orm's bonds. The man looked furious but couldn't speak with the muzzle.
Rae moved forward and grabbed the man from the guard at this and gave a nod to Ava, who released Kaldur and Selena. The two walking passed the DEO and to the water without a word where the other three Atlanteans left.
"And here you go," Rae said giving Orm over to Ava who put him in the truck. "And that's one…"
"Flash, you need to get to a pad," it was Ray's voice in her ear. "And see what's happening."
"You got anything with a screen?" Rae asked, having left the pad she'd had in Watchtower before. Alex handed over a device and it turned on. "What…? Is that the Titanic?"
Alex looked over Rae's shoulder. "It is," Alex said. The ship was in two large pieces, along with several decaying broken off chunks, but all were now above the water.
"That needs to be put back in water quickly," Ava remarked, Rae turning to look at her. "If oxidized too quickly, it will disintegrate."
Before Rae could respond, Ray came over the coms again. "All over the world sunken ships and planes are being raised and just floating there as if they are still seaworthy," Ray said. "What are your orders?"
"Send the supers and whoever can lift heavy thing out to grab them and get them to land – prioritize the Titanic, get them back into water quickly. I am sure historians will have a field day with this," Rae said with a shrug.
"Is this them trying to make amends?" Alex asked, Rae handing the pad to her now.
"Yes, and I also think it's another message," Rae mused. "Sunken ships and planes risen and stay above the water. They're telling us the seas are safe again."
"That's not all," Alex spoke now, showing Rae new footage on the pad
"Lian Yu?" Rae asked, seeing the image on screen of the island coming up from the ocean; she knew it from her time on her world's version in Purgatory, although it wasn't as barren as this version – the trees having been swept away by flood waters since.
"Atlantis sunk it, thinking it was a base of the 'JL'," Alex explained. "It seems they've risen it again for us."
"Wow," Rae remarked, not sure what else to say to this.
-Karry Universe-
Kara and Barry had spent the night on Krypton and had a party for the two Barrys birthdays and for the birth. Caitlin had gone home early the next day but the two had decided to spend an extra night on Prime itself – in Seg and Nyssa's home, in fact, Kara more than happy to finally meet alternates of her grandparents. She was bemused at Seg doing crossword puzzles and Nyssa doting on Kara's newborn.
They were finally ready to go home, though.
"Thank you," Karry Barry said, now back in the Cortex, giving his alternate and their Kara hug. "Now we need to go home." Krypto gave a bark. The dog had barely left Kara's side since getting to Krypton, and was keeping an eye on the child, knowing this was another of 'his babies' to look after now. Powie wasn't too amused, but this just amused both Karas more, knowing Krypto tended to be a deadbeat dad with his own puppies, but doting over his human children.
"Home indeed," Cisco said, opening a portal. "Right to your Penthouse." The two stepped through it, with Kara still holding the baby boy.
….
As they arrived in their Penthouse it was to it being crowded; large 'It's a Boy' sign hanging on a wall and family were cheering as they entered.
"Mommy, daddy!" Alura and Nora were the first to run up and hug them, but Romana and Star were fast to follow. Hex flew up and was on Kara's shoulder in a matter of seconds.
"We missed you," Star said, and the two felt a little bad they had to leave Star so suddenly and not so long after her being kidnapped again by her birth parents and Galactic Conquest.
"Don't worry, they were well taken care of," Amelia said. "I picked them up from Astra after everything was settled. They had fun playing with their cousins Jerry, Sydney, and Simon. And I had Winn and Rae to help."
Rae was standing there, giving the two a wave.
"You're still here," Barry said, surprised, but smiled.
"Well you left me in charge of your Justice League and I needed to make a peace treaty between the land and Atlantis. Then there was the whole sunken ship, planes and Lian Yu thing to deal with – don't ask. Oh, and we figured out your Blackfire problem," Rae added. "One of the other refugees from Galactic Conquest was going to head in the direction of Tamaran and agreed to drop off the planets new Queen."
"Queen?" The two asked together.
"Well, Star's bio parents did die when Galactic Conquest exploded," Amelia confirmed. "I know thanks to the Death Totem – and Backfire is the oldest child, and with Galactic Conquest gone, they can rebuild their civilization with Blackfire in charge."
Barry didn't know what to say to that, so just nodded.
"Well then, this is our baby boy," Barry decided, taking him from Kara and showing him to those gathered. "Meet your Aunty Amelia and Aunty Rae," the two women smiled. "Actually, Rae there is something we wanted to ask you, so I am glad you stayed." Rae raised an eyebrow at this. "I think it would be good for him, especially to have someone as connected to the Speed Force as you around, and I was wondering if… well… would you…?"
"Be his Speedster Godmother?" Kara finished for her husband, who was rambling.
"Oh wow! I'd love to," Rae said. "Although, there is something I should know?"
"What?" Barry asked.
"What's his name?" Everyone in the room chorused at this.
"They've been bugging me since I got back and no one believes me that I don't know," Caitlin said. She was sitting with Garfield in her lap. Jenny was with Ronnie
Kara and Barry smiled at each other, and Kara nodded letting Barry tell everyone.
"Well, everyone, meet, Kent Garrick Allen," Barry said.
Clark, who was in the kitchen, and had been going into the refrigerator as Barry announced the name, literally pulled the door off the fridge. He then backed up and hit into the counter, taking a huge chunk of the counter off. "Clark, that kitchen is basically brand new!" Kara complained, having redone the kitchen when their young Rae had died.
"But… um… that… Kent?" Clark asked.
"Congratulations, the only time I have seen him this shocked is when I told him about this one," Lois said rubbing Jason's head, but Jason hit his mother's hand away and Lois shook it, clearly a bit hurt.
"While Clark is being an idiot," Rae said. "Garrick?"
"For you. My little sister who is always there whenever I need her," Barry said. "Even when not asked. And for your alternate, who died exactly where you are standing." Barry just realized Rae was standing in the exact position the younger Rae had died in. "Mind moving over just a bit?"
"Kent?" Clark asked, finally getting his mind together it seemed and placing the broken refrigerator door on the side as he pushed his way towards them. "You're naming your son Kent?"
"For you and Lois, who were always there for us from the moment we met," Kara said.
"Even if you threatened to kill me several times," Barry added to a laugh from several people.
"And for your parents, who I never got to meet but did my job for me and protected you. I never got to lay eyes on them, but they were members of the House of El just the same. It feels right naming my son for them and you," Kara said.
"Give me that boy," Clark said, taking the little baby boy and smiling at him.
Meanwhile, Ray gave his very pregnant wife a kiss and let Brandon go play with some toys. He indicated to Laurel, who was standing near Oliver and others of Team Canary to follow him and Ava, who was with the Totem Bearers in the room. The three going to the playroom where they were free to talk.
"Wasn't his middle name meant to be Daniel?" Ray asked.
"That's what Rip said," Laurel said with a nod.
"Several times," Ava added.
"They must have decided to change it," Laurel said with a shrug and then they all looked at each other, knowing how Rip reacted to small changed. Laurel took out the time courier she had been given. "We don't really need these anymore."
"Laurel's right," Ray said, taking out his own.
"I'll keep them safe somewhere in case we need them again," Ava said in agreement taking all three. "I'll get Rose's and the other's when we next see them."
"Good idea," Ray nodded at that. They were still Legends, it seemed, but not active while Rip was obviously going to get annoyed at the name change.
-Karry Universe-
"Garrick?!" Rip yelled in the Waverider. "His middle name is meant to be Daniel after the Danvers. Why did it change?"
"Rae coming to help them end the war caused the two to change the middle name along with deciding they want to honor the young Rae who died here," Gideon explained simply.
"Rachel Bloody Garrick!" Rip yelled.
"And he hates Raes again. All is right with the world," Jonas chuckled, making Miranda laugh.
"I mean he's…" Rip started but then the music from Frozen played, the familiar tune of 'Let It Go' echoing throughout the room – Gideon even had a holographic Elsa appear to sing the song. That made Jonas fall to the floor laughing as Rip yelled for it to turn off and Gideon refused until the whole song played.
"Rip," Miranda said once the song finished. "It's a middle name. It's not a big deal. He's born finally and his destiny is intact. The war reached the right conclusion and the flux is gone. We can go."
"Not so fast," a new voice spoke, and it was Zari appearing in the room through her time courier portal.
"Zari, what are you doing here?" Miranda asked not having expected any of the Legends back.
"I told the others I was going to go explore the multiverse for an Earth that felt like home. I told Mon, when he left with Kayla though, what I really wanted. Home to me is exploring and protecting time," Zari said. "The Waverider is home."
"You want to join the Time Masters?" Rip said, understanding what Zari wanted.
"I do," Zari said with a nod.
"I can't think of a better candidate," Rip grinned. "Maybe we could give you a similar ship to the Waverider and we can make a Legends 3.0, with you in charge. A group of misfit heroes to protect time under our directive."
"I liked the Legends I had. But I need a Gideon," Zari said with a smile
"Absolutely," Rip said with a nod. "Gideon, take us to the Vanishing Point."
"Yes, Captain," Gideon spoke, and the Waverider moved away, finally able to leave the Flux created for the Aquawar.
Post Chapter Note: Yes, so Karry technically now has a stranded Zari living permanently there, albeit as a Time Master, but they don't know that. And yes, I decided to change Kent's middle name as it made more sense for it to be Garrick than Daniel. Besides, making it Daniel means both first and middle name was connected to Kara while Garrick is more connected to Barry. If you look at Alura Felicity Alura is Kara's mom and Barry met Felicity first. Nora Lara, well Nora is Barry's mom and Lara is Kara's aunt, so both have a connection to both sides of the family.
Hope you enjoyed this section. We're now going on a break until July 10th when we come back with a four-part Beautiful, then after Sigma will finally return with SuperEarth: Fate!
As for the next Karry Universe plot, that is titled Kid Swap and all I can spoil is this:
When Jason's attitude problem goes too far there are going to be some serious consequences, not only for him but his mother, too. Meanwhile, a much loved but rarely used world will become front-and-center when they inadvertently get involved in the Jason drama.
And that's it. Please REVIEW.
Karry Master OUT!
