Fourth Way

Virginia and Wolf were taking an extended honeymoon since they were called back to the Nine Kingdoms and never got around to one. So now they were cruising up the coast and came across a quaint little town called Storybooke, Maine. There was just something a little strange about it.

Wolf drove while Virginia snored heavily in her sleep, having left her son and young daughter Snow with grandpa in the 4th Kingdom. Wendell offered to put them up in a house in Kissing Town, but Wolf had never really explored outside of New York so they decided to travel up the coast instead.
It grated on his nerves or his ears but she only snored when they traveled a long way. It was getting dark so Wolf turned towards the nearest town, Storybooke five miles. He didn't mind driving during the day but the night lights hurt his eyes. They were traveling to a forest lodging that they booked for a week.

Wolf shivered at the town limits as he drove slowly towards the only inn that he could see and parked, nudging Virginia awake.

"Where are we?" Virginia asked in between yawns as she took her rolling suitcase up the steps to the front door of Granny's Bed and Breakfast.

"Storybrooke, Maine. Something's off about this town." Wolf could smell his own kind or at least the inside of the B&B smelled somewhat wolf-like.

"Good evening! I'm granny and I run this B&B. How can I be of service?" Granny said noting that this was the third time a stranger or in this case two, had come into town.

"We need a room for the night." Granny took Mr. 'Wolf' Lewis's money and held her tongue at the sight of his wife who to her eyes look almost exactly like Mary Margaret. She made sure to mention the hot breakfast that her diner served, knowing that Emma and her friend Mary Margaret liked to have breakfast on Saturdays. Not to mention it was included in the stay at any rate.

Sometime later as Virginia had fallen asleep again Wolf stood at the open window and just breathed in the night air smelling everything. It was just a few days after the full moon so his senses were still sharp.

After closing the window and getting ready for bed he opened his suitcase and took out the small communication mirror King Wendell had given them in case of an emergency.

"2nd Kingdom." The yawning face of the mirror keeper made Wolf almost reconsider and call in the morning but it was urgent.

"Get me the Queen."

Before the young woman Poppy, who despite know how Wolf was related to the Queen and her kin, was still a bit wary of Wolf, could decline his request, the mirror was taken from her by the Queen herself. It had been just a little over a decade when wolves were considered enemies of the kingdom, but that all changed when Wolf sacrifice himself for their Queen.

"Cousin!" Ironically after Wolf saved her life, Rowan warmed up to him with only a little prodding
despite hating wolves all her life.

"Rowan. What do you know of grandmother?" Wolf asked.

"Not much, she died before I was born. Why?"

"Because I sense wolf here and this whole place smells of magic, laden magic but magic none the less. It's dormant like a heavy fog is all over this town. Can you get me an audience with Cinderella?"

Rowan promised to see what she could do and Wolf fell asleep slightly hopeful.

In the morning he got a shock at breakfast and almost chocked on his coffee as he overheard a boy called Henry Mills explaining about a Storybook and what exactly been happening to a wary looking blonde woman in a red leather jacket. Some moron from the Nine Kingdoms made a foolish wish on a Magic Bean aka Dragon Dung Bean. He excused himself to go to the bathroom and sighed when Rowan answered looking disgusted at the surroundings.

"So you know how you had a little sister? I found out what happened to her and her kidnapper. Somehow the moron made a wish to relive the Golden Age of the Nine Kingdoms or live the Golden Age and now all of them are stuck in this quaint little 1980's like town in the Tenth Kingdom." The smells alone were enough to give him a headache.

"I wondered what happened to Regina. Daniel has been beside himself with worry after Tom Tit Tot's son Neal made that wish. I'll send the fairies to clean up that mess."

"There's a few hiccups. Time seemed to have differently here. You know how Wendell had that fling a while back? Well his daughter had a daughter who had a son."

Rowan sighed. "I'll deal with him later."

Cinderella was going to have a field day with this, not to mention the rest of the Nine Kingdoms.

Long story short, Snow White, her husband and the rest of the whole town of Storybooke, Maine were not happy once the magic of the 'magic bean' was undone. But Regina was thrilled until she learned that her magic came from the magic bean. Wendell was shocked beyond words.
