Chapter 44 a knight shines in the night sky, the end of the huntsmen, a fallen Rose
In space the Fleet of the Galactic federation finally arrives in Rubicon space and is getting closer and closer to Rubicon 3 in order to stop the fighting before it gets worse.
Thermador: are we close?
Soldier: yes we are sir. It's only going to take a few minutes once we're near the planet. Also we've confirmed there's a battle happening above it as we speak.
Thermador: I see.
Glynda: Thermador. Please let me talk to them so they can all come to there senses and stop this fighting.
Thermador: I already decided to have you try to talk with Ms. Glynda and you as well Ms. Winter. However if they do something completely wrong I would have no choice but to have the fleet open fire on them.
Glynda: … thank you.
Winter: we will try to convince them.
The scene changes to the Redguns getting ready to face a fleet of Huntsmen ships and many warriors ready to fight for the justice they believe in. Jaune is soon seen looking at his new A.C that he named Paladin, a machine using parts used by both Michigan and Ren along with the new Core from the Liberation Front. Just as he was getting to go he reads a not which Flatwell gave to him it was from Michigan before his death.
Jaune: … dear Jaune. If you are reading this then you know I have died in battle, I ask that you don't mourn about my death and what happened to me, I want you and the survivors to live even when I'm gone…. Michigan…

Tears start to form in Jaune's eyes as he continues to read.
Jaune: when I first saw you, I knew you and the others were a huntsmen from the start even before you told us your reasons for leaving them. As you continue to work with the Redguns I saw something in you, something that those headmasters kept overlooking. A leader, a commander whose looking out for his troops and comrades doing everything in his power to make sure everyone gets out alive to see another day. I decided to bring that talent, that potential out, the knight that was always there hidden beneath that Huntsmen philosophy. But remember you can't save everyone and some times you must make a difficult decision, were not heroes or Villains were just individuals fighting for what we believe to be right, so Jaune all I ask is that you fight for what you believe in don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Good luck soldier! From Michigan. …P.S. Mean old Michigan died of a bad Fall!
After he was done reading the last message from Michigan, Jaune wiped away his tears and looked at his A.C which is the symbol of the bond that he has with his commander and comrade. He then boards his machine and joins up with the rest of the Redguns so they can complete this mission.
Jaune: everyone let's go and complete this mission. Also I have only one order to you all survive no matter what. That's an order got it!
Redguns soldiers: sir! Yes sir!
Then everyone headed out to face the enemy.

A few minutes later the Redguns arrived at the mission area and began there mission.
Jaune: alright everyone. Each team attack one ship at a time remember we only need an opening to there mother ship. Now move!
Redguns soldiers: yes sir!
Each team of the Redguns attacked each of the ships that was there target they didn't go after too many just the ones that would get in the way.
G6Red: I've wiped out the enemy's in this area.
Nora is seen with her squadron as they were able to defeat the enemy's in there area.
Nora: all done here we'll keep the others out as much as we can fearless leader!
Iguazu is seen taking down many huntsmen in his area and opens up a path for Jaune to reach the mother ship.
Iguazu: I'm done here, now go and finish the job.
Then Jaune flies straight through the fleet and heads towards the mother ship. As this happens the Galactic federation soon arrives at the battlefield and began speaking to the huntsmen.
Thermador: all huntsmen this is Thermador one of the Generals of the federation government and we have Headmaster Glynda and Winter who wishes to speak with you.
Glynda: all huntsmen and huntresses I'm asking you all to stop fighting immediately I repeat, I order all huntsmen and huntresses to stop fighting immediately!
Huntsmen: we can't stop fighting!
Huntress: yeah those murderers killed so many of our friends and comrades! We haven't even obtained the Coral yet!
Winter: we don't care about the Coral so many of you have already died already! We don't want to lose anymore of you to this madness! … so please all of stop fighting please.
Huntsmen: we… we can't…
Huntress: we want to restore the glorious days we once had…
Huntsmen: if your not with us… your against us! Along with the justice we represent!
Huntress: we'll show no mercy to traitors!
Both Glynda and Winter were shocked by what they just heard. They knew for a while that most of the huntsmen has gone bad but they never thought they fall this far. The two don't want there huntsmen to go down this path that's going to destroy all of them. Thermador saw everything and heard all they have to say he didn't want to do this but the huntsmen leaves them no choice.
Thermador: … we gave you all a chance, we truly did but now you leave us no choice… all ships prepare to fire…
All of the Galactic federation fleet ships points there cannons directly at the huntsmen fleet. And then.
Glynda: …
Winter: …
Thermador: fire…

The Federation fleet then fires on the huntsmen ships both Glynda and Winter watches in horror as many of the huntsmen and huntresses are all being killed but they weren't the only ones watching this so was Blake.
Blake: … no… no… noooooo!
Many of the huntsmen ships are seen being shot down, ripped apart along with many of the huntsmen dying one after another. The Redguns squad tries to escape from the attack that is destroying the huntsmen but Iguazu is confronted by survivors.
Huntsmen: this is all you murderers fault!
Huntress: we'll kill every last one of you!
The huntsmen attacks the Redguns who are trying to escape from the destruction of the Huntsmen fleet. However one them charges at one of the Redguns with bombs Iguazu tries to shield them with his pulse shield but the blast was so great it completely damages his A.C and is now dying.
G6Red: Iguazu!
Iguazu: gu… I can't… believe this… is how… I die… well… at least… I'll be… with Volta and… the others… so we … can… punch… Michigan…
Jaune is seen inside the mother ship destroying the engines and the core until G6Red contacts him.
G6Red: … Jaune… Iguazu is gone…
Jaune: … can you recover… the body?
G6Red: yes we can… go commander… finish this fight.
The call ended and Jaune finally destroys the core of the ship, he then tries to escape before the ship falls down to Rubicon and explodes. He arrives on the deck and sees many huntsmen ships being destroyed but he soon detected an A.C approaching him at high speed.

The unknown A.C lands in front of Jaune as it was powered by Coral technology the pilot was none other than Ruby herself.
Ruby: Jaune… you betrayed us… killed so many people… you… and the rest of those murderers… will be made to answer for your crimes… and be brought to JUSTICE!
Jaune: Ruby… let's end this…
The two look at each other, once comrades but now enemies… the two point there weapons at one another.
(Goddess of Victory- never giving up)
The two then started fighting against one another Ruby's attacks were all Coral based attacks which was going to make this battle very difficult.
Ruby: this is the Savior Rose the machine that'll save Remnant!
Jaune: you have to stop Ruby! Don't you see how many has already died in this war!
Ruby: I have and it's all those corporations and mercenaries fault that this madness was unleashed!
The two continue to fight as neither one is giving in. Jaune attacks with both guns and a songbird breaking Ruby's barrier and damages her A.C. But she strikes back with her Coral weapons as well as speeding across the battlefield as she damage Jaune's A.C.
Ruby: they took everything from me! Yang, Blake and more importantly you killed Weiss! That makes you a murderer! A villain! That must face Justice!
Jaune: your right I'm guilty for killing her, but she also killed Ren and as a result we both lost friends and comrades in this war Ruby. None of us are innocent in this, we both have blood on our hands so none of us are heroes just warriors fighting for what we believe in!
The two continue to fight as the ship suddenly started to fall to Rubicon as it is about to explode at any minute. The two continue on as minutes passes as the battle between them is about to end.
Ruby: I'll end this Jaune!
Jaune: come on Ruby!
(Gundam WFM – Farwell to the GUNDAM)
Both machines takes heavy damage then the two charges at each other one last time. Ruby brings her Coral blade down on Jaune but he activated his pulse barrier at the last second saving his life and then he slashes at Ruby fatally injuring her and her machine not able to continue the battle.
Ruby: this can't… be we… must fight… for peace and justice… love…
Jaune: Ruby look around you… is this the kind of world you want. A world where you destroy everything with your power.
Ruby: …
Jaune: think back Ruby. What was it you really wanted.
As Ruby slowly thinks back to why she became huntress along with the journey they all went on she finally remembered what was truly important, what she actually wanted.
Ruby: I wanted… to be a hero… just like… my mom…
Jaune: …
Ruby: so … in the end… I've became… the very thing… I was… suppose to be… fighting against…
Jaune: … Ruby…
Ruby: looks like… you're the… hero now… don't end… up like… us…
Then the ship starts to fall apart and explode everywhere, Ruby's A.C shuts down. Jaune soon boosts away from the ship and escapes as it takes Ruby down with it as it falls along with the many huntsmen ships as they all look like falling stars on Rubicon but in reality it's actually the end of the huntsmen and Ruby herself.
Then everything fades to black.

Another Chapter done. Jaune reads a message from Michigan before his death. The Redguns attack the huntsmen, Glynda and Winter tries to convince the huntsmen and huntresses to stop but fails. The federation fleet destroy all the Huntsmen ships, Iguazu dies in battle and Jaune fights Ruby to the death which ends with the Huntsmen's defeat and there destruction along with Ruby's death. Now on to the reviews.
To Gojira: thank you and I saw the picture it looked cool.
To ABS120: yeah Markov is now dead and Ruby has tragically joins him but not without remembering what she actually wanted.
To Guest: okay I get it you hate them. I understand but you have to admit that you have to feel pity for both of them as they were both used as pawns without knowing it. And then realizing it too late.
Okay that is all I hope you all liked this Chapter. The battle between Jaune and Ruby was difficult but Jaune came out on top at the end and I think it was because Michigan wanted his men to walk there own path and grow. Plus he saw potential in Jaune just like Ozpin but somehow he was able to bring it out, the knight that Jaune always was deep inside as well as a leader. Ozpin sort of did do a good job with Ruby as he didn't teach her anything or help as he should have, the same goes to her team to even though they did help some times it slowly fell apart much, much later and Yang was without a doubt the final nail to the coffin. Congratulations Yang you forgot about your sister and is now remembered as the worst older sibling in history.
