About a month and a half had passed since the incident in the woods with Hiei and ever since then Kaguya had seen no sight nor a single hair of him. She sighed to herself, feeling a heavy depression weigh down upon her shoulders. She felt gloomy most certainly and that the current rainy weather was not helping either.
Since graduation, Kaguya had to fight her way to freedom, herself now living in her own apartment and having a rather decent job at a café where they mostly serve coffee and cakes. Before she finally gotten a apartment, she had ran away from home so to speak and moved to Genkai's dojo to stay there temporarily thanks to Yusuke Urameshi who gave her the permission to stay there for a time, sharing the living space with Yukina whilst she resided there for a year and a half before she had finally graduated at a different school from the one she had initially attended to finish her education at.

What were the reasons why she had ran away from home and switch schools?
It was all due to an incident that had transpired at the original high school that she had attended that was located in the neighborhood she was raised in, where one bad night had changed everything for the ginger. It all had started when her beloved cat had went missing, then the invitation to the school dance from one of the more popular boys whom had insisted she'd be his date, which reluctantly she had agreed to after his relentless pursuit of her. Once at the prom, the bundle of nerves she had felt had transformed into a state of pure rapturous joy, but what began as a delightfully memorable event soon had turned heel and transformed into a complete and utter nightmare. Upon being rewarded as The Home Coming Queen, the envy of the peanut gallery had became apparent as it became more and more obvious rather quickly that she had been set up to become utterly humiliated, the disaster cascading down upon her shoulders in red... A dark rich red that smelled of a copperish odor, the freezing color spilling all over her form, ruining her beautiful sparkling baby blue ball gown that which she had made by hand herself due to Mr. Kuwabara and Shizuru having refused to buy her one. Everyone there had teased her about her dress, calling her Cinderella, and before that time of the incident, she happily thought her night was going rather perfectly, herself blind and blissfully unaware of the plot that had been unfolding. At her feet were the clomps of fur, entrails, severed body parts of a fur friend having gone missing and upon that realization she had been driven into a catatonic state and all before snapping. What resulted afterwards was a catastrophy Kaguya could barely remember if any at all. All she could remember were flashes of what had transpired in she was in her sullen, maddened state, and fire...
...Lots of fire...
She had snapped and thus had set the school ablaze...with everyone there that had attended that night, having trapped as many of them as possible to burn them away in the raging inferno.
She felt no remorse about any of it, most everyone who had attended there gave her dirty looks, spoke ill of her, and made fun of her for being... Different...
Moreover, about two days before the dance, Kaguya had learned that Mr. Kuwabara owned a trafficking ring, one of which was more disgusting than it originally sounded for the now deceased Yakuza was unbelievably working for corrupted rulers of The Spirit World and Mr. Kuwabara was the founder and the Big Boss who owned and ran The Black Black Club itself. So, ultimately, Kaguya Kuwabara had burned down the entire family home to the ground, destroying the neighborhood in the process, as well after disposing this world of the family who had raised her and likewise having severely mistreated her whilst owning her like she was their property. Before his passing, Mr. Kuwabara had confessed about many things, including having been assigned by Lord Enma personally to guard over her.
She had learned from Mr. Kuwabara himself that night that she had been adopted, in fact, forcefully taken from her mother whom had died the moment she had been born, her mother and her once surviving late aunt having been hunted down and killed due to trying to escape her own enslavement. Her aunt whom she had mistaken to be her mother most of her life was kept alive for until Kaguya was nine and so it was her aunt actually whom had raised her during throughout most of her childhood, the woman having died tragically right in front of Kaguya by having received a silver bullet to the brain by the man whom Kaguya had been taught to call "father".
Kaguya had learned that both her biological mother and aunt were wolf demons and that Kaguya's mother had been pregnant with her prior before her enslavement.
From that moment on, Kaguya had known that she was at least part wolf demon.
But did Hiei know? Had he known all along and just had been pretending that he didn't?
Or was he still kept in the dark, just like Yusuke is?
Truth be told, only Kurama knew the truth, namely because Kaguya had made him swear to never tell any of the others.

Anyway, pushing that all aside...
Desiring company, Kaguya had offered Yukina to live with her once she moved into her new place, which occured about a week ago. Yukina was supposed to show up today, the ice apparition giving her a head's up on Kurama assisting her in moving in. Kaguya had asked prior to now whether or not Hiei will be joining them, but Yukina told her "No, sadly, I'm afraid not."
It would seem that the fire youkai was evading her like she was a plague itself. Was she surprised any by his behavior. No, not really, since it seemed all to well to be expected of his character to behave this way and thus this scenario was and is very predictable of him.
"He regrets ever having sex with me. Figures." She breathed out a prolonged forlorn sigh. "Last time I open my legs so willingly to anyone or anything..."
A sudden sharp pang in her neck was felt. It was only reactionary for her to touch the spot only to be reminded all too soon of the bite mark that the fire apparition had left behind during their rendezvous. Of course, by now it had healed but it also had became a permanent scar.
She hiccupped suddenly, feeling her stomach acids jump up into her throat as the worst case of nausea ever formulated within her had sticken her hard. Feeling urges to vacate her stomach, she ran into the bathroom and began throwing up into the toilet. After flushing the contents down in the porcelain bowl, she commented; "Maybe I shouldn't have drank any coffee or have eaten that bagel, whichever... When is this stomach bug going to ever end?"
She sighed and began washing up, finishing by gurgling with mouthwash to remove the bad taste in her mouthe before spitting it out.
The doorbell rang that moment after she had washed out the sink.
"Coming!" Kaguya called out as she left the bathroom, herself having grabbed a hair tie, heading to the front door as she pulled her hair back and then tied it up in a ponytail.
She peeked out through the spyglass before unlocking the door, opening the door wide enough to allow Yukina, Kurama, and Botan in. "Hey, guys! Glad you could make it!"
