The next day Robert got off to work early, knowing the sooner he went the sooner he could get back home. At least he hoped that. He left Holly a little love note and made sure she was covered up well. Placing a kiss on her forehead before he left.

Holly woke up not too long after he left and read the note.

Dear Holly,

You have no idea how empty and hopeless things were without you in my life, every time I got you back just to lose you again was torture. I'm never letting you go this time. I love you, I love our nights, I love holding you.

Love, Robert

Holly sat the letter over in her night stand. It was so sweet and definitely something she always planned to keep. She got up, took a shower and got dressed. When she walked out of the room she saw Jayne.

"Jayne, I thought you would be out already." Holly gave her a hug.

Jayne shook her head, returning her mom's hug. "No, I actually wanted to talk to you."

"About what? Is something wrong?" Holly's protective side was already showing when it came to Jayne.

"Oh no mum I just wanted to talk with you, if you have time." Jayne didn't want to be a bother.

"Darling I always have time for you. What's going on?" Holly asked as she followed Jayne into her room.

"Have you ever had feelings for someone and you know you shouldn't but you can't help it?" Jayne asked Holly, she felt silly being the age she was and talking like this but she also just needed some advice.

Holly loved that she felt she could come to her with this. "I think we all have, in fact that's how I felt about your father at first."

Jayne nodded and smiled, she remembered hearing the story she had told her about their early relationship. "I just don't really know what to do about it, I guess I won't do anything. He is in a relationship."

"That does complicate things. I was never one to want to be involved in a triangle myself. I can't say I've avoided ever being in one. Just listen to your heart. Things tend to work out the way they should and if you ever want to talk about him. You know I'm always here." Holly took her daughter's hand.

Jayne smiled at her mom. "I love you." She gave her a hug. "Do you want to have some breakfast with me?" She asked her.

"I love you too and I would love that." Holly and Jayne went downstairs to the kitchen to have breakfast and get their days started.
