Chapter 7: Election Season
The next day UA was surrounded by the press. After all Toshinori was the number 1 hero it made sense that the pressed want to know how good All Might was a teacher.
Izuku, Ochaco and Mina all managed to move out of the kept repeating "No comment… no comment".
Eijiro managed to get passed as several students had as Iida ended up giving a very long winded interview.
When Itsuka and Neito were cornered they outright said "We haven't had class with him yet so we can't answer that.".
Katsuki just yelled at them to "Fuck off:.
Of course they got to the classroom to wait for their class to start.
In class 1-A they waited or Aizawa to come in and start which he did by mentioning he watched the matches.
"Midoriya, Bakugo… you match destroyed the microphone so I wasn't able to hear most of what you said, but grow up." Muttered Aizawa, "You need to paradise your problems if you want to remain in class."
"How did the microphones break?" whispered Katsuki.
"Remember Nezu knows about it." Whispered Izuku.
Katsuki nodded.
"And now you have to do something that determine the future.." Said Aizawa.
Everyone was nervous.
"You have to pick a Class Representative." Said Aizawa.
Much of the class was surprised and happy asking to be picked.
"Wait! We need to this the proper way!" said Iida, "We should hold a vote."
"But most of us don't know each other that well…" said Asui.
"I think some people will vote for other people." said Eijiro.
IT was clear that Eijiro wasn't going to vote for himself.
Kirishima is correct, if a member of the class received more than one vote then you know they have earned the truth of the other members." Said Iida, "So Mr. Aizawa…"
"Just do whatever… and don't take too long." Said Aizawa as he took out a sleeping bag and went to sleep under his desk.
"Welp… our teacher just feel asleep in the middle of class… that's not concerning at all." Said Mina.
After that they voted. Izuku wasn't up to vote for himself and he thought about who would make a good one.
He remember several things heard about Yaoyorozu and voted for her.
An d soon enough all of the votes were tailed.
There were only two students who got votes.
Yaoyorozu got three votes.
However it was Izuku that had gotten more votes are 4.
Izuku looked at his fellow reincarnations, he could tell from their smiles they all voted for him.
Although he wondered who the fourth was… because Katsuki clear didn't vote for him as her was scowling.
Which was soon answered by Iida lamenting he didn't have any votes.
"Wait you didn't vote for yourself?" asked Sato.
"All right. I hope you don't have any complaints." Said Aizawa.
"I do!" yelled Katsuki.
"I'm not counting you after yesterday." Said Aizawa.
Katsuki muttered a ton of swear words under his breath.
No one besides him complained.
Later during lunch it was the same large group that ate lunch together from the day before.
"So looks like we're both Class Representative." Said Itsuka.
Izuku laughed.
"I hope you don't mind I voted for Momo…" said Shoto.
"Of course not…" said Izuku, "I occultly voted for her too."
"Thank you." Said Yaoyorozu blushing and covering her face a little.
"Though I'm surprised that you voted for Izu, even though you wanted to be class rep." said Mina.
"I did, but Midoriya was the superior candidate and I humbly conceded." Said Iida.
"This is going to sound weird but are you rich?" asked Eijiro.
Ochaco gave him a look.
"he's another legacy student." Said Shoto.
"Wait! Really." Said Izuku.
"I am." Said Iida blushing, "DO you know of Ingenium?"
"I do. He's the hero the based in with 65 sidekicks." Said Izuku.
"That's right! Well he's my older brother." Said Iida.
Iida started to smile.
"He is the one that Inspire to be like! For me is a beacon of what it means to be a hero." Said Iida.
Almost everyone was surprised at this at the table, after all it seemed like Iida was something of a stuck in the mud.
So the fact he had a genuine smile was surprising to the group.
"What's wrong?" asked Iida.
"Sorry it's just it's the first we seen you smile." Said Ochaco.
"I smile." Said Iida.
"we've only known known him for a few days, of course we have yet to see him smile." Said Neito rolling his eyes.
That was when an alarm was went off. Followed by an automated accounted.
"There is a level 3 intruder alert… please evacuate in a calm and orderly fashion." Said the announcement.
Everyone was a shocked by this… especially some nearby third years who realized it was a group of third years.
"It's the alarm when someone's gotten into the school." Said one of the third year's to them, "It's hasn't happen since I've been here."
Before they could start evacuating Izuku realized something.
"Wait! Everyone's panicking!" he said.
They knew they had to evacuate but with someone one pacing.
"WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU!" yelled Katsuki not too far away.
"And that's an even worse sign." Said Itsuka.
After all if someone who was a former musician in their past life is complaining about a packing crowd, that never a good sign.
Their three friends knew not to join the crowd which quickly filled the hall way in a panic.
They watched in horror but knew there was very little that would calm them down…
Until Iida noticed from a nearby window.
"Seriously?" asked he asked very loudly.
They all saw what he had saw outside.
It was a crowd of pressed trying to get their answers.
Earlier in the day Aizawa told to them leave but of course they didn't listen and with how desperate they were for answers they broke into the school.
So of course it was something stupid that caused this chaos.
And the pressed was now bother Aizawa and Present Mic.
"Hey Yaomomo! I need an air horn and bull horn!" said Mina.
"How about I just make a bull horn that can act like a siren." Said Yaoyorozu who seemed to blushing at the nickname.
"Good idea." Said Mina.
The way her quirk worked was that she was able to create thing as long as she knew the chemical composition, she memorized how to make certain items a while ago knowing these items would extremally useful.
Once it was create she looked at her friends he covered their ears as did Katsuki who was nearby and wasn't in the hallway.
She pressed the siren button and everyone in the hallway looked at her.
"Everyone calm down… it's only the press." Called out Yaoyorozu, "There's nothing to worry about.
The students in the hallway especially those are the windows notice it was indeed true.
Thankfully the rest of the day went well and there was no other problems. Though Yaoyorozu did quite a bit of praise for what she did and was clear that the class was going look to her Vice Representative.
However many people had a bad feeling that there was something more as the gates that blocked entry from anyone who didn't have a school ID badge were completely destroyed.
The next day it was just a normal day until it was time for hero class and Aizawa explained the class.
Which took the form of a borderline field trip. While it was on priority it was a ways away and they would have to take a bus.
"It's going to be rescue training today. You'll learn everything from fire to floods." Said Aizawa, "The teachers will be myself, All Might and a surprise third teacher."
The class was excited for this.
"I'd be perfect for water rescue." Said Tsuyu.
Of course you can bring your costumes." Said Aizawa, "But you're costumes might not be good for all forms of rescue so be aware."
He also opened up the costume wall.
Not too long later, Izuku was looking inside the bus and saw it was an open bus, he knew that would be his job to organize everyone but he also knew these buses weren't the best when it came to organizing people.
"All right choose a seat when we get on the bus…" said Izuku.
"Midoriya shouldn't you be organizing better?" asked Iida.
"No it's a low floor bus." Pointed out Izuku.
"Oh.,.. you're right." Realized Iida.
Soon enough it was time to board and they were on their way to the facility that the class was going to held.
As the bus ride was going.
"Midoriya." Said Asui..
"Yes Asui?" asked Izuku.
"Call me Tsu." Said Asui or rather Tsuyu as she preferred her first name, "I always speak my mind and your quirk reminds me of All Might's."
"Oh really?" asked Izuku, "It's just a coincidence nothing but a coincidence."
The other reincarnations looked at him as it was clear he was having a hard time lying about his relationship with his mentor.
"Deku's the fucking protégée of All Might." Said Katsuki.
"Katsuki!" yelled Izuku.
"Look… I'm not going to watch you try to lie that he's not your uncle or something." Said Katsuki.
Mina snorted at that…
"Wait… you're really All Might's protégée?" asked Aoyama.
"Of course…" muttered Aizawa from the front.
"Yeah… he took me under his wing a while ago… he helped me train with my quirk considering my late bloomer status." Said Izuku.
"You're a later bloomer and you went that school." Shuddered Aoyama.
"Yeah… that sounds like a sucky place to go to school." Said Kaminari.
"Yeah…" sighed Izuku.
"Did anyone know about this." Said Tsuyu.
It was clear that Ochaco, Mina and Eijiro all had looks on their faces that said yes.
"Also Shoto does… but…" said Izuku.
They all looked at Shoto and saw he was taking a nap.
"Is… is he okay?" asked Kaminari.
"Oh he's fine. He just has a bad habit of falling asleep on a car or bus… he's not allowed to take public buses because of that." Said Yaoyorozu, "He's fine with trains though."
They soon arrived at the facility which was a large dome.
They entered it and most of the class marveled at it, it looked like a theme park.
"Hello and welcome to a facility I built…" said a hero who was dressed like an astronaut, "The Unforeseen Simulation Joint… or USJ for short."
"Universal Studios Japan?" thought several students.
"It's Thirteen!" Ochaco nearly squeed.
"You should for her autograph after class." Said Izuku.
Ochaco nodded happily at that.
After all Thirteen was her favorite hero.
"Isn't All Might supposed to be here?" asked Aizawa noticing her wasn't there.
"He was caught up in something." Said Thirteen holding up three fingers.
Those that knew about his limited time all noticed this.
"What do you think happened?" asked Ochaco.
"HE did a lot of hero work this morning." Sighed Izuku.
"Seriously?" asked Ochaco.
Izuku nodded.
"All right before we get started I wanted to make a point;… maybe 2… wait 3… maybe 4.." said Thirteen.
The class stared at the hero unsure how to respond.
Eventually the hero got herself together and gave a speech about the dangers of quirks which earned some applause.
"Now … said Aizawa.
However before he could say more suddenly lights all went out.
Everyone became concerned and suddenly something appeared up in the central plaza.
Something made of mist and it had gotten bigger.
Several people emerged from the mist…
Everyone was confused… however Aizawa knew right away what it was.
It was villain attacking the school.
And they didn't know how badly it would go…
