It was a lovely day in May. Babs and the others had returned from Gotham. Zee missed Luke and vice versa.
"Look, all we have to do is have faith. Besides, I need to get back at that Trickster." Kara says.
"There's going to be a ball in two weeks." Karen says. "It's the Queen Industries Company Ball."
"I'm not going," Kara says.
Oliver walked up with a smile on his face.
"Oliver, I can't go. The Court is still alive. I can't believe you guys called us all the way back here for a dance." Dinah says.
"The Court has gone into hiding after your last fight with them." Oliver reminded. "And there hasn't been any sighting of them since."
Diana sighed. "They're always hiding…"
"Okay, okay…I'll go." Barbara says, still paranoid.
"Uh, Oliver. I was wondering if you could…" Zee began to ask.
"What?" Oliver asked. Then he realized. "Yes, Zee. Luke can come."
Zee just squealed in delight.
"I need to go and work on my speech for the ball." Oliver said.
Meanwhile…
Big Owl was spying.
"All heroes will be busy… the cosmic buddies are busy tonight. After the upcoming dance, we go on a rampage and bring them down." Big Owl says.
"Sounds like a plan." Brock and Beth nodded.
Later…
Barbara sighed. " I should be in Gotham right now. I know they exist, but they've covered their tracks well. I need to get back there after the dance."
She goes to get ready for bed. As she dressed, all she could think about was Augury. He seemed to be after her specifically, more so than the others.
Soon it was getting dark
Big Owl looks at Flash's rogue
"Okay. Go in there and isolate them so we can destroy them." Big Owl says
After two weeks…
"Uh, does this dress make me look fat?" Kara asked. She was wearing a light blue camisole dress with mermaid style skirt, white elbow length gloves, and light blue high heels.
"No." Karen says. She was wearing a yellow strapless knee length ball gown with detached sleeves, a sequined bodice, several layers of tulle skirts including an overskirt just over half the length of the others, a silver tiara, white elbow length gloves, black tights, and yellow heeled slippers.
"Why do I have to go? I'm not into boys." Kara says.
"Kara, are you?" Karen asked.
"I don't know, I didn't bother looking for a date. I'm scared, okay? What if I get exposed?" Kara says.
"Oh, you're tough, I see." Karen says, knowing Kara can't hold back sometimes.
"Besides, I was planning on going to a concert." Kara says.
"Hey, Zee, how did you get your extravagant dress on so quickly?" Karen asked.
"Magic. Also, I'm a diva." Zee says.
Zee put on lots of make-up.
"Zee, you can't drag Luke into this. What if a villain attacks?" Diana asked.
"No one will attack. Carol is just going to be doing something else." Zee says
"I hope you're right." Jessica said. She was wearing a green gown, with green high heels.
Meanwhile, Carol was planning to kill Jessica tonight.
"She is a dead woman." Carol hissed.
Just then, she got a message from Hal on her cellphone.
"Oh, a message from Hal! He finally came to his senses!" She says before reading it.
"Jessica and I told our teammates that you're Star Sapphire?!" She cried in shock. There was more.
"It's not our fault. Reverse Flash gave Flash a hint before Wonder Woman used the lasso of truth on us." She read.
"They're dead!" She hissed, still mad because they dissed her on Valentine's Day. But now, they exposed her identity to their teammates.
She was planning to expose them on TV. But first, she would give them very unbearable pain.
Meanwhile, Diana dressed up in a white Greek goddess dress.
Zee waits for Luke. She was wearing a pink floor length ball gown with poofy sleeves, a pink sash around her waist and a full bell shaped skirt, a silver tiara with a pink topaz gemstone in the center, a silver necklace, white elbow length gloves, white tights, and pink heeled slippers.
"You look pretty." Karen says.
"Thanks." Zee says. "I'm waiting for the most famous man on Earth." Zee says.
Big Owl spies. "Okay, we can't attack with Luke around. He's a powerful piece of work." he says.
Talons kept watch, as ordered, but they were also under orders not to strike. Too public, and Luke would cause too many headaches at the moment.
Soon, a limo was coming. Girls screamed, chanting Luke's name.
Big Owl looks at Flash's rogue. "Go undercover. Isolate and then we kidnap Batgirl." Big Owl says, unaware of the Talons.
With the Talons…
"Remember, keep to the shadows. If the opportunity presents itself, kill Batgirl." Augury says, unaware of Big Owl.
With Barbara, she wore a purple gown with Batman and Wonder Woman logos on the back and a Superman logo on the front.
"Let's do this!" She says and waits for Barry.
Soon he came in a red suit as Barbara smiled.
"Shall we?" Barry asked. Barbara giggled as they headed over.
"Subject is leaving with the Flash." Beth says, spying.
Soon, the party began as Reverse Flash was wearing a jacket as a disguise.
Kara danced for a few before deciding to sneak out and just head to a metal band concert, but she needed to get out of this dress. She arrived home to see some robot ninjas trying to attack her, but Kara punched one and kicked another one. Two of them slashed her, but the swords broke as they took her out.
"They don't work for the Court. Too dumb." Kara says and goes to get ready.
Oliver twirled Dinah around. She was wearing a blue ball gown with poofy sleeves, lace trim and a full wide floor length skirt, a silver tiara, white elbow length gloves, white tights and blue heeled slippers.
Luke hissed as he went to get a drink.
"Are you okay, Luke?" Zee asked.
"Do I look okay?" Luke hissed.
"What's wrong?" Zee asked.
"You do know what happens in a few weeks, right?" Luke asked.
"Yeah, your half-birthday." Zee says.
"I want something fancy like this to celebrate it. But my family would never go for something like this. They never listen to me when I tell them what I want." Luke says. "They just wanna be cheap!"
Zee feels bad for her boyfriend as he runs off in tears.
Luke flew off as Zee looked down and decided to follow him.
"Luke is gone." Brock says.
Zee finds Luke. Luke was punching several people who tried to plan an ambush as he hissed menacingly.
"AND IF I SEE YOU AROUND HERE AGAIN, YOU'RE GONNA BE IN A BOX ON A BOAT THAT WILL BE GOING TO THE BERMUDA TRIANGLE, WHERE NO ONE WILL EVER FIND YOU!" Luke screamed.
Zee was impressed by what she saw.
Alem tuber crossed his arms as he was watching this from a tower. He was feeling sick, but ignored it.
Later, Lois was writing notes about Luke. Business was booming, thanks to Luke.
"You know what? I think I'll move to Royal Woods." Zee says
The girls gasped.
"You can't!" Diana says.
"Yeah, we need you." Barbara says.
Zee sighed.
Augury and the Talons weren't assaulted by Luke. Thankfully
Soon, Barbara and Barry danced around.
Fans chanted Luke's name as Luke took the stage and performed as Zee faints.
Mirror Master was in disguise and danced with Karen
Big Owl gets annoyed by Luke as he looks at Trickster.
"Perform a show at that party." Big Owl says "In disguise."
Trickster nodded and sneaks in and began to juggle getting everyone's attention
"Hotshot, you cause a fire to distract the heroes." Big Owl says
Oliver and Dinah were looking into each other's eyes, about to kiss, when Carol arrived as Star Sapphire.
"Oh, no…" Jessica thought knowing her identity was about to be exposed.
"Hello, everyone. Hmmm, since Luke is here, it means the whole world is watching." Carol says.
Zee secretly used magic to make Star Sapphire temporarily forget that Jessica and Hal were the Green Lanterns.
Star Sapphire groaned and looked at Poison Ivy and Giganta.
"Well, I forgot what I was going to say." She says as the kids booed as Hal sighed in relief
"So what now?" Giganta asked as they turn to see Atticus and Super Girl in costume
"You can leave." Atticus says, cracking his knuckles as they gulp and leave.
"SuperGirl?" Lois asked. "And Atticus Fudo here? Hmmm…" She wondered.
Later…
"So, Luke, what's it like on stage?" Zee asked.
"Well, it's a pretty exciting experience. When I'm up there, all eyes are on me." Luke says.
"Yeah, my birthday is my most cherished day. Honestly, I wish I had more than one, but I am grateful and my dad works really hard." Zee says.
"I wish my half-birthday wasn't such a burden on my family. I'm better off leaving them." Luke sighed.
Suddenly, there was a building on fire as Atticus turned into Wolf Titan.
Angry Luigi saw this on the news and cheered.
Wolf titan was getting kids and people to safety as fans were nervous. Hotshot tries attacking Wolf Titan, who uses crystals to punch Hot Shot down.
Hot Shot was sent flying.
Trickster smirked as Barry quickly suited up and came.
"Hey, Trickster, long time, no see." Flash says.
"Trickster!" Everyone says .
"Yep, I'm back. Bringing the rogue, too." He says, but Luke hissed.
"You must be Luke." He says.
"I'm not a guy you want to double-cross." Luke says, hissing menacingly.
He tossed a pie at Luke, who dodged it.
Luke hissed and punched him as Oliver looked annoyed. "Seriously? Why tonight?!"
"Maybe I should leave for Royal Woods." Zee thought.
Meanwhile Hot Shot shot flames at Wolf Titan, who used crystals to block the flames and leaped and punched him, sending him flying.
"Give up?" Wolf Titan asked as Hot Shot tried to get up, but couldn't.
Meanwhile, Karen was about to kiss Mirror Master, but Trickster crashed into him.
"Mirror, stop dancing and help me." Trickster says
Karen felt guilty for falling for a villain and tiptoed away. "Let's go." Karen says and uses her amulet.
Her body armor covered her legs and arms as she became Bumblebee.
Bumblebee flew in and shot stingers at Mirror Master, who made holograms.
Batgirl leaped outside as Brock and Beth stretched their hands and grabbed Batgirl. Batgirl grabs their arms and tosses them down.
Meanwhile, Flash punched Trickster.
"So, which one is real?" bumblebee asked
Flash thinks. "The one that can actually feel pain." He says. "Holograms don't feel pain."
He kicked the real one, sending him down. Trickster tries using tricks on Luke. But Luke lets out the most menacing hiss and punches Trickster between the eyes, sending him down into a comatose state.
Reverse Flash saw this and smirked. "So, you got new friends." Reverse Flash says.
"Yeah." Flash says as he rushes out, getting innocents to safety before Reverse Flash leaped and kicked him, sending him flying.
"I'm the fastest." Reverse Flash says as the two speed around the city.
Golden Glider attacked Zatanna from behind, sending her down. "Cheap shot!" She says as Diana was struggling to get into costume the dress was stuck.
Zatanna shot magic spells at the Golden Glider, who dodged
"You just had to attack tonight?!" Zatanna asked, pissed off as they clashed
Atticus arrived in his wolf form and took down Top.
Meanwhile, Batgirl was struggling against Brock and Beth as they shot lasers.
"So where is the Court?" Batgirl asked.
"No idea what you're talking about." Beth says as she tries punching Batgirl, who dodged.
"You missed!" She says before The Big Owl swooped in and kicked Batgirl.
Meanwhile, Zatanna and Golden Glider were pulling each other's hair.
Luke rushed and kicked her.
"Thanks." Zatanna says.
Flash smirked as Luke kicked Reverse Flash.
Meanwhile, Big Owl slammed Batgirl down as he dragged her to his car.
"Too bad. Looks like you will be bait." Big Owl says as they leave for Greendale.
Augury sees this from the shadows. "Talons… no survivors. No witnesses."
Soon, the fight was over as Wonder Woman finally arrived and looked a bit annoyed.
"This was a disaster…" Luke says as Zatanna hugged him.
"We need to get back to Gotham. The owls must have taken Batgirl " Black Canary said.
"Do you have to? We just got you back." Green Arrow says.
"Yeah." Black Canary says.
"This all happened because we came back." Wonder Woman says.
Luke left, annoyed.
"I'm going to Royal Woods. Luke needs me." Zee says.
"No way! We need you!" Kara says.
"You'll be fine. Luke's mentally hurt." Zee says.
She disappeared as Wonder Woman sighed, getting ready to rescue Batgirl.
Meanwhile, Zee finds Luke. Luke felt angry and annoyed. She holds him.
Meanwhile, Batgirl wakes up in Octi Corp.
"Hello, Batgirl " Big Owl says
"What do you want?" Batgirl asked.
"Simple, owls are better than bats, so we need you as bait for Batman." Big Owl says.
Silhouettes of Alem tuber, Alex, and Jack were above before going away.
"Let me go!" Batgirl says.
"No can do and there was no help. We were very slick." Big Owl says.
Batgirl smirked and freed herself.
"Ha, escape 101!" She says as the guards surround her. But Batgirl used a smoke bomb to escape.
"Dang it!" Big Owl says.
Batgirl was now outside, alone. "I gotta get back to the others. Back to Gotham." she says. She hid behind a truck as owls flew by.
Batgirl hides for a bit before turning to see dead bodies. Mutants, in fact.
"Mutants? Is the Court killing again?" Batgirl asked. "Augury, come out!" Batgirl says.
There was no sound as there was beeping as Batgirl noticed a tracking chip and took it out and gasped seeing a bunch of trucks
Batgirl used her grappling hook to start escaping.
Meanwhile
"Luke, I made up my mind. I'll stay in Metropolis. We can always portal over." Zee says. Luke sighed and went back to his cheap party planning family.
Meanwhile, Big Owl drove after Batgirl, but Jack's party truck drove after them.
Batgirl finally escaped as Big Owl got annoyed
"Woo!" Alem tuber says as Jack was launching giant pies.
"Wait, if Charity basically owns Greendale, should we lower the damage?" Alex asked
"Nope, our city, our rules!" Alem tuber says as Jack ran into a few of the trucks, pushing them aside as Jack pressed a button launching Alex into one of the cars as Alex punched one of the members of Octi Corp. and kicked another one and took the wheel.
Batgirl was running away as she called Super Girl. "Hey, Kara, I'm in Greendale. Can you fly over and get me?" Batgirl asked.
Super Girl soon got her back.
"Okay, it's official, we need to go back." Wonder Woman says.
"Yeah! We need to defeat Augury before anyone else dies." Batgirl says.
"Take care." Super Girl says.
Meanwhile, Big Owl looked at Flash's rogue as he was scarred up.
"Capture Batgirl. I'll handle Alem tuber." he says.
