Chapter 1
JANUARY 2002
THE BUCHANAN RESIDENCE
CHELSEA, LONDON, ENGLAND
7 AM
It has been a little over a month since the Buchanans had welcomed the newest addition to their family into the world. However, taking care of a newborn proved to be quite a daunting task for Harold and Beatrice, with Beatrice staying up late most nights trying to soothe and comfort her infant daughter.
After one particularly difficult evening where Beatrice had spent all night trying to lull Sybille to sleep but to no avail, Rhonda, Blaze, Abigail and Taokaka were sitting at the kitchen eating breakfast. They were all eating a full breakfast consisting of fried eggs, buttered toast, sausage, fried mushrooms and several glasses of orange juice and chocolate milk, courtesy of Lena.
"I hope you lot like your yummy, scrumptious breakfast," Lena said with a toothy grin as she was preparing more food over the stove.
"Thanks, Lena," Rhonda smiled as she tore off a piece of buttered toast and chewed it slowly with a satisfied moan.
"Yum…"
"Thank you, nice Caribbean lady! This food is super extra yummy, meow!" Taokaka beamed as she proceeded to stuff her mouth full of food.
"Charmander!" Blaze also grinned happily.
Then as soon as everyone was finished with their breakfast, there was a loud beeping sound outside as the bus pulled up in front of the flat.
"Come on, you guys; let's go," Rhonda urged as she grabbed her backpack and she led the others out of the kitchen.
A short time later, Rhonda and her friends arrived in their classroom all bundled up in their winter clothes when they soon ran into the one person that they would rather not see.
"Well, well, well, look what the cat dragged in," Xavier greeted them with an evil, menacing smirk.
"What do you want this time, Xavier?" Rhonda retorted with a pointed glare.
"I'll have you know that my parents recently got me my very own Pokemon from the Kanto region. Everyone, meet Ekans," Xavier replied with a smug, conceited expression.
He then took out his own Poke Ball and held it out for everyone to see.
"Ekans, go!"
A red beam of light emitted from the Poke Ball as a figure soon emerged, revealing Ekans.
"Ekans!"
"I have my own Pokemon as well," Jen announced as she walked over to join Xavier, with a Persian trailing after her. "My mother and father also got me this Persian. Isn't she just darling?"
"Yeah, whatever Jen," Jasmine scoffed with a disdainful eye roll.
"I wasn't talking to you, you dirty, filthy mongrel," Jen sneered at her curtly.
"I can't wait to beat you at your own game when I get my own Pokemon someday!" Jasmine snapped.
"We'll see about that, won't we?" Jen smirked evilly with a sadistic, wily grin.
"All right, children; get to your seats. Class is about to begin," Ms. Caldwell announced as she entered the classroom.
"This isn't over by a long shot, Shirvani," Jen growled as she and Xavier walked away.
"Come on, guys; let's just ignore her. We got schoolwork to focus on," Shirley sighed with a shake of her head as everyone retreated to their seats.

Several hours later, after school had let out for the day, Rhonda and her friends decided to meet up at the team headquarters to discuss their latest mission. Rhonda was surprised to see Maxie, B.J., Andrew, Lucas, Tommy, Mariah, Cassie, Matt, Inez, Jackie, Digit, the Colonel and Zorba waiting for them in the War Room.
"Maxie? Andrew? B.J.? What are you guys doing here? I thought your folks wouldn't allow you to hang out with us again after what happened the last time," Rhonda balked in surprise.
"Well, Aunt Felicia says that as long as Andrew and I and a few other adults are here to supervise the younger ones, it's okay," B.J. replied with a shrug.
"Yeah, Mom also had to make me swear on my grandmother's life to not let anything else happen to anyone on the team," Andrew concurred while holding up his right hand.
"All right then…" Rhonda exhaled sharply as she looked over at the Colonel. "So what's new, Colonel?"
"Well, what we know so far is that Maleficent and her allies are holding Lucky and Yoyo somewhere in an undisclosed location; for what exactly we do not know as of yet. And if I'm right, they may be planning to head off to yet another universe to kidnap God knows who else and track down yet another missing Dimensional Stone," the Colonel explained.
"Okay then; we just need to figure out where they're going next and go from there," Rhonda declared.
Just then the computer screen flashed a rapid bright blue hue with a loud siren before an image appeared, revealing Esther's face.
"Good afternoon, children. As you know, we have two young hostages whose whereabouts are currently unknown," Esther said. "Just this morning, I have received an intelligence report that indicates that Maleficent and her team are planning to head off to a universe where fairytale creatures live in wide abundance."
"Fairytale creatures, huh?" Jasmine mused with a raised eyebrow.
"Oh, wow; do you think that we might run into Goldilocks and the Three Bears?" Yuki marveled in awe.
"Hey, we might even run into the Big Bad Wolf!" Luthor cheered excitedly.
"Okay, guys; let's not get ahead of ourselves. We don't really know what we're going to run into out there and we don't truly know who's friendly or not," Shirley admonished them sternly.
"Oh, boo," Luthor pouted.
"All right, everyone; you know the drill. Meet Agent Forsythe and his team outside where the spaceship is parked and set up the coordinates for your latest destination. You should be arriving within the hour," Esther instructed them sternly. "I wish you all the best of luck."
"Thank you Mum," Jasmine bowed reverently.
"Ciao," Esther replied and the screen then went black.
Moments later, Rhonda and her friends headed over to the official Team Legacy spaceship where Agent Forsythe and the others were waiting.
The spaceship had undergo an extensive redesign with the front exterior now shaped like a phoenix's head and the entire body having a more streamlined, shapely and sleek build. The top of the spaceship also had bright flames painted on it with the right side showing the official Team Legacy insignia.
"Oh, for God's sake! These kids again?" Agent Hawthorne groaned, face-palming himself. "They can't even fight for shit!"
"Damian, for God's sake, they are just children!" Agent Forsythe shot back sternly.
"That's what I'm afraid of!" Agent Hawthorne snapped.
"Knock it off, you two; we don't have time to argue over ridiculous nonsense," Agent Marni Kostas interjected.
"She's right; we better get moving," Rebecca sighed as she headed inside the spaceship.
A few minutes later, everyone had boarded the spaceship as Rebecca was now typing in the coordinates.
"Okay, let's see…" she muttered, focusing on the console. "Here we are."
She then glanced up to see an image of a fairytale themed world with a swamp on the surface.
"All right then; everyone get into your seats and buckle up. It's going to be a wild ride."
Then as soon as everyone sat down and buckled up, Rebecca pulled down the lever and started to pull up the throttle as the spaceship roared to life and started its quick and rapid ascent into the sky. Within seconds, a large blue portal materialized as the spaceship flew right into it and disappeared altogether.

Meanwhile, in Hollow Bastion, Maleficent and the rest of the villains were gathered around a table in a makeshift meeting room while Lucky and Yoyo were trapped in cages in an underground dungeon below.
"Help! Help! Let us out! Help!" Lucky cried while flapping her wings frantically.
"Let us go, you big, ugly, stinking monsters!" Yoyo yelled.
"Shut up, you filthy little brats!" Ursula snarled at the ground while shaking her fist. "Now where were we?"
"So what's the next phase of our plan?" Jafar asked.
"We are going to a universe where fairytale creatures rule supreme," Maleficent answered. "In that universe there is a lonely tower where a young, beautiful princess lies in a deep slumber, waiting for her true love's kiss."
"How delightful," Scar droned in a bored and apathetic voice.
"How romantic!" Zira giggled as she leered at Scar with a dreamy and besotted expression.
"So who are you going to pick for this particular mission?" Yzma inquired curiously.
"Yzma, you, Kronk, Scar, Zira, Jafar, Messina, El Supremo, Vivian, Ivan, Lawrence, Mother Gothel, Iago, Hades and myself will be going. Our young apprentices Riku, Xavier Grey, Jen Deson, Akiho and Jeannie will also be accompanying us," Maleficent answered.
"So when are we leaving?" Kronk asked eagerly.
"Right now as a matter of fact; let's get a move on, everyone," Maleficent declared as she soon left the room with Diablo flying after her.
"Okay, team; let's go! Chop chop! Time's a wasting!" Yzma barked while clapping her hands repeatedly as she also walked off.
"Well, this is going to be fun," Mother Gothel muttered with an eye roll.
"All right! Can't wait to spend some time with my special lady!" Hades cheered while pumping his fists in the air as he leaned over to whisper to Pain and Panic. "Am I right?"
Pain and Panic just shrugged at him nonchalantly.

Meanwhile, Sora, Goofy and Donald had also been summoned to the throne room in Disney Castle in order to speak with King Mickey.
"Now I want you three to accompany Team Legacy and their allies to this universe and make sure that Organization XIII and the Super League of Villains don't get their hands on the next Dimensional Stone or the sleeping princess. Is that understood?"
"Yes, Your Majesty!" Sora saluted reverently.
"So where exactly is this sleeping princess?" Goofy frowned.
"Well, this princess is located in a desolate and far away tower somewhere deep in the mountains guarded by a ferocious and deadly dragon," King Mickey answered.
"A dragon?! Oh no…" Donald groaned, shrinking back in fear.
"Come on, guys; what's one dragon going to do to us anyway? We got Keyblades to defend ourselves and besides, we got to save this poor girl and get that next Dimensional Stone," Sora urged them confidentially.
"I suppose you're right, Sora," Donald sighed dejectedly.
"Come on, guys; we got to board the Gummy Ship and head off to the next universe," Goofy urged his friends.
"Right, let's go," Sora nodded as he and his friends soon left the room and were off.
