Chapter 56.
Rescue and rematches.
A couple of hours have passed since Nine transmitted his warning to the inhabitants of Nabu and he is now on Mount Shiroyama sitting on top of some rocks, next to him are Slice, Mummy and Chimera, the latter has Mahoro at his side, who is tied by her hands, to prevent the girl from escaping.
- "Are you sure about this boss?"- Chimera asked. – "Wouldn't it be easier to look for the boy?"-
- "Why look for him if he can come to us?"- Nine said.
- "Understood."- Chimera said.
- "Attention, someone is coming!"- Slice said as he watches Yamikumo approach flying. – "He is one of those who confronted us!"-
Mummy, Chimera and Slice prepare to fight, but Nine stops them. – "Stop! He doesn't come alone..."- Nine said while using Scanning and thus detecting someone else next to Yamikumo. – "The boy comes with him."-
Yamikumo lands in the middle of everyone and sure enough, he carries Katsuma in his arms, Yamikumo is now dressed in what he now calls his "villain outfit".
(AN: It's the clothes he was wearing when he was "kidnapped" by the bronze guard)
- "K-Katsuma… don't…"- Mahoro said.
- "Well… Look who came."- Nine said.
- "It was the boy's decision... I just gave him a ride."- Yamikumo said.
- "Bring him to me."- Nine said.
- "Give me the girl first." – Yamikumo said.
Nine stares at Yamikumo and then snaps his fingers.
Chimera unties Mahoro and then grabs her by the collar of her clothes and then roughly hands her to Yamikumo. – "The boy, now!"- He said.
Yamikumo leaves Katsuma on the ground and he begins to walk towards Nine. – "Katsuma! Don't do it please!"- Mahoro said.
- "I'm sorry... but it's what I have to do."- Katsuma said. – "Before you steal my quirk... let them take my sister somewhere safe... I don't want her to see this."-
Nine narrows his eyes and stares at Yamikumo. – "You have thirty seconds to get out of here."- Nine said.
- "No! We're not leaving Katsuma here!"- Mahoro said. – "Grab him and let's get out of here!"-
- "I'm sorry... but I can't do that."- Yamikumo said as he uses his fire to fly away at full speed taking Mahoro with him.
- "Katsuma!"- Mahoro said.
Nine watches as Yamikumo leaves at high speed, he will finally reach his goal. – "I told you this was a good idea."- He said to Chimera.
- "I'm sorry I doubted you."- Chimera said.
Meanwhile Yamikumo flies away from the place but then begins to descend. – "Moron! Why did you do that?!"- Mahoro said as he punched Yamikumo's chest, without much effect. – "How dare you leave my brother?!"-
- "Calm down, will you?!"- Yamikumo said. – "Your brother is fine!"-
- "What do you mean by that?! You left him with those villains!"- Mahoro said.
- "Are you sure about that?"- Yamikumo said as he lands right where Dabi, Toga and Twice are waiting for him, all dressed in their villain outfits, however, what surprised Mahoro is seeing Katsuma with them.
- "Big sis!"- Katsuma said hugging his sister.
- "K-Katsuma… How?"- Mahoro asked confused.
- "It was Uncle Yuji; he can clone other people!" – Katsuma said while pointing to Twice. – "But it was all big bro Izuku's plan!"-
- "Mahoro-chan! I'm so sorry, it's my fault they captured you!"- Toga said while hugging Mahoro.
- "Big sis Hikari..."- Mahoro said.
- "This isn't over yet, Yuji, you know what to do!"- Yamikumo said.
- "Right!"- Twice said to quickly start taking Mahoro's measurements.
- "What's going on?"- Mahoro asked.
- "Peaceful! Big bro Izuku has a plan to defeat the villains!"- Katsuma said. – "You will see that he, big bro Toya, big sis Hikari and Uncle Yuji will defeat the villains!"-
- "Be ready, they will come at any moment."- Yamikumo said walking away from the place.
- "We will be ready."- Dabi said.

Back with Nine, this one is finally ready. – "The time is up... the moment has come."- Nine said putting his hand on Katsuma's face. – "Give me cell activation!" –
Nine tries to steal Katsuma's quirk but it suddenly turns into mud.
- "What the hell?!"- Slice said.
- "What the fuck happened?!"- Chimera said.
Nine doesn't respond, he just sees the palm of his hand covered in mud.
At that Mummy recognizes what happened. – "A clone... there was a guy with them who could create clones!"- Mummy said. – "Could it be that he did this?!"-
- "A clone... that bastard... That bastard tricked me!"- Nine said. – "Slice, Chimera, Mummy! It's over! It's time to take action... we will get that quirk no matter what it takes!"-
- "Yes, Nine!"- The three of them said at the same time.
Quickly the four of them quickly run towards the same direction that Yamikumo left.
- "I don't care if we get the boy first or later... I want those four dead!"- Nine said.
- "Understood!"- Slice said.
- "With pleasure."- Chimera said.
- "Very well."- Mummy said.
- "But the most important thing... the guy who tricked me... I will kill him personally."- Nine said.
The four continue on their way but suddenly a fireball hits Nine, when the smoke disperses Nine is intact thanks to creating a wall of air, despite that, Nine is angry seeing his attacker. – "You…"- He said.
Yamikumo is in front of the four, but he is alone. – "It seems my trick worked."- Yamikumo said.
- "How dare you?!"- Chimera attacks Yamikumo but he jumps back and shoots a fireball but Chimera destroys it with a punch.
Slice attacks Yamikumo with her hair but he easily creates a wall of fire for Slice to stop her attack.
- "Slice, Chimera, Mummy!"- Nine said. – "Don't get in the way... I'll take care of this guy... you guys bring me the boy."-
- "Are you sure about that, Nine?"- Slice asked.
- "This guy is no match for me... he just managed to take me by surprise... it won't happen again."- Nine said. – "Now go!"-
- "Yes!"- The trio said in unison and then continued on their way, leaving Nine and Yamikumo behind.
- "You let them go... that means you have something planned, don't you?"- Nine said.
- "Maybe yes or maybe not... The only thing that matters to me is that I have you right where I wanted you..."- Yamikumo said while activating his Fire Soul. – "This time I'm ready to fight."-
Nine uses Scanning and is surprised to see how Yamikumo increases his strength. – "Impressive... a simple quirk like his is capable of doing this kind of thing... no, he's the one with the ability for that."- Nine thought.
- "Fire Soul… Arsenal Mode!"- Yamikumo said as he draws his katana with his right hand while creating a fire katana in his left hand. – "This time... our fight will be different!"-

Meanwhile, Mummy, Slice and Chimera continue on their way in search of Katsuma, but a voice stops them. – "Looking for something?"- Dabi, who is on top of the branches of a tree, said, in his arms he is carrying Kastuma and Mahoro.
- "Give us the boy and I promise that your death will be quick and painless."- Quimera said.
- "I could do it... but the real question is..."- Dabi said and then Toga and Twice land next to him, both of them also have a Katsuma and a Mahoro in their arms. – "Which one do you want?"-
- "What?"- Slice said.
- "Four of them must be clones!"- Mummy said.
- "The question is... who is the real one?"- Slice said.
- "I don't know... they all smell the same... I can't identify the real one among the clones."- Chimera said.
- "Well, you better make a decision... who has the real one?"- Dabi said.
- "Bye!"-
- "See you."-
Quickly, Dabi, Toga and Twice quickly leave the place, each in different directions.
- "What do we do, who do we go for?"- Slice asked.
- "Let's go after the guy who makes the clones, if we kill him the clones may disappear."- Mummy said.
- "Yes, but if he doesn't have the real one, we won't know where the other two went..."- Chimera said. – "Slice, go after the girl, Mummy go after the one who creates the clones, I'll take care of the blue fire boy."-
- "Understood!" –
With their orders each one pursues their target, Slice goes after Toga, Mummy goes after Twice and Chimera goes after Dabi.
However... what none of the three noticed was that when they left, Mahoro and Katsuma came out from between some bushes. – "T-They left..."- Katsuma said. – "Just like big bro Izuku planned."-
- "He… planned this?"- Mahoro asked.
- "Yes, everything he planned happened just as he said it would."- Katsuma said. – "Now we just have to put our faith in them and I know they will make it!" –
Mahoro just stays silent. – "They risked so much not only to beat those guys, but also to save me..."- She thought as she looked in the direction they were before leaving. – "Katsuma... if you trust them..."- Mahoro said and then put a smile on her face. – "Then so will I!"-
Katsuma smiles at his sister's words.

With Twice.
Twice tries to get as far away as possible, he was about to leave the forest but some red bandages tied around his right leg and crashed him to the ground, this causes Twice to let go of the Mahoro and Katsuma that he was carrying in his arms.
- "Enough running away... we will finish what we started the other day here and now."- Mummy said. – "But first..."-
Mummy uses his bandages to try to capture Katsuma but when he touches him he dissolves into mud just like Mahoro.
- "Just like I thought... I knew you wouldn't take the real ones..."- Mummy said. – "Even so, I just have to kill you so that all the clones disappear."-
- "Headhunter's plan worked..."- Twice thought. – "Kill me? How do you know I'm not a clone either?"-
Mummy looks at him and uses his bandages to turn several tree branches into his soldiers. - "There's only one way to find out."- He said.
- "We agree on that..."- Twice said as he creates a clone of Yamikumo and one of Dabi. – "This is going to be complicated..."-

With Toga.
Toga manages to get out of the wooded area to a clearing, but several strands of hair block her path. – "It seems I was found..."- She said.
- "I'll give you a chance... give me the boy the easy way and I'll make your death painless."- Slice said.
- "I could do it... but are you sure this is the real one?"- Toga said with a mocking smile on her face.
Slice smiles and attacks Toga with her hair, Toga tries to dodge the attacks but one manages to hit her and knocks her down. - "Too easy..."- Slice said as he grabs Katsuma with his hair, but he falls apart into mud just like Mahoro. – "They were the fake ones..."-
At that Slice, out of instinct, jumps to avoid a knife cut from Toga who slipped behind her. – "I tricked you!"- She said. – "Hunter-kun is so smart... he predicted everything with ease."-
- "Don't think you fooled me... we knew some of them were clones."- Slice said. – "Mummy or Chimera will soon get the real one!"-
This only makes Toga's smile grow. – "This will be fun..."- Toga said. – "Unlike last time, this time I come prepared!"- Toga said as she grabs several knives and throws them at Slice. – "I will make you bleed."-

With Dabi.
Dabi jumps between several trees trying to go as far as possible, unfortunately he has the strongest enemy of all, not counting Nine, Chimera.
Chimera quickly catches up to him, taking the least time to reach his opponent, and hits him with his tail to knock him down and make him crash to the ground. – "This time you won't be able to escape."- Chimera said.
Dabi crashes hard into the ground, releasing Mahoro and Katsuma who fall to the ground in front of him. – "Sh*t...I forgot how strong he is..."- Dabi thought as he gets up from the ground.
Just then Chimera lands on the ground and grabs Katsuma by the neck. – "I got you…"- Chimera said but then Katsuma dissolved into mud. – "Or maybe not... I should have guessed..."-
Dabi quickly attacks with a blast of fire, but Chimera easily destroys it with a swing of his arm. – "Well... here we are."- Dabi said. – "What will you do now that you know that I didn't have the real ones? Will you leave or stay to fight?"-
- "The real ones must be with the girl or the guy from the clones... Slice and Mummy went after them... one of them will get the real boy..."- Chimera said while cracking his knuckles. – "So I'll stay here and kill you for interfering with Nine's plan."-
Dabi stares at Chimera with a serious look but inside he is smiling. – "Very well... let's finish what we started then." - Dabi said as he gathers fire in his hands. – "Damn Atanagi... He predicted everything exactly..." –
At that, Dabi remembers how they planned everything.

Flashback.
- "Let's see smart boy... tell us your plan."- Dabi said.
He along with Toga, Twice, Yamikumo and Katsuma are surrounding a table with a map of the island, some civilians are also listening.
- "The plan is simple...divide and conquer."- Yamikumo said while placing several wooden figures which have the appearance of each of them and their enemies.
- "We have Katsuma, who is who they want."- Yamikumo said while placing the figures of the four of them and Katsuma together. – "Meanwhile, there are also four of them and they have Mahoro, who they are using as bait to lure Katsuma."-
- "Yes, we know that... but what does that have to do with the plan?"- Dabi asked.
- "The only way to rescue Mahoro is to hand over Katsuma... and that's what we'll do."- Yamikumo said. – "But not in the way they expect."-
- "What do you mean?"- Toga asked.
Yamikumo looks at Twice. - "Yuji... how fast can you create clones?"- Yamikumo asked.
- "Seconds are enough; however I need the measurements of who I am going to clone."- Twice said.
- "Well... then I need you to measure Katsuma and create four clones of him."- Yamikumo said while putting four more Katsuma figures on the map.
- "Four? Why four?"- Dabi asked. – "I understand what you're trying to do, hand over a clone of Katsuma to Nine to trick him, but why do you need three more?"-
- "For what will come later."- Yamikumo said and then took his figure and one of Katsuma and placed them where the figures of his enemies are. – "As you said, I will deliver a clone of Katsuma to Nine to trick him, then I will take Mahoro and return to you, who will be at a close but safe distance from where I will deliver the clone."-
Yamikumo takes his figure and Mahoro's and returns them to the others. – "This is where things get complicated..."- Yamikumo said. – "By the time Yuji arrives, I need you to be quick and make three clones of Mahoro."- Yamikumo puts three more Mahoro figures on the map.
- "I don't see where this is going..."- Toga said.
- "Let me finish explaining... at that point Nine realized that the Katsuma we gave him is a clone."- Yamikumo said while hitting Katsuma's figure that was next to Nine's with his fingers, knocking it off the table. – "Obviously he will try to come for us along with the rest of his team."- Yamikumo takes the four figures of his enemies and places them halfway between them and where they were before. – "I'll go ahead and hold them off for a few seconds, mainly making sure to keep Nine there."-
- "I guess you'll give Yuji time to create Mahoro's clones."- Dabi said.
- "Right... even so, seeing that I'm holding him back and out of desperation, Nine will send the other three towards you."- Yamikumo takes the figures of Slice, Mummy and Chimera and places them in front of those of Dabi, Toga, Twice and the mutliples Katsuma and Mahoro. – "This is where everything will be decided... The real Mahoro and Katsuma will hide and you will take a clone of each one and go in different directions, try to get as far away as possible."- Yamikumo moves away the figures of Dabi, Twice and Toga, each one next to one of Mahoro and Katsuma.
- "Now I understand... this will force them to separate but at the same time the two children will be out of danger."- Twice said.
- "Exactly."- Yamikumi said while putting Slice's figure in front of Toga's, Chimera's in front of Dabi and Mummy's in front of Twice. – "After analyzing each of them I am sure that Slice will go after Hikari, his hair is weak to fire, therefore she will not go after Toya and Yuji can create clones of us, so it is obvious that she will go after Hikari, for his part Mummy will go after Yuji, they both have quirks that, in essence, create armies, and by logic, Chimera will go after Toya."-
- "So it will be individual fights…" – Dabi said.
- "Yeah... I'll take the brunt... I'll try to keep Nine busy while you finish up with the other three."- Yamikumo said and then hit the figures of Slice, Chimera, and Mummy with his fingers to knock them off the table. – "When you manage to defeat them... you will join me and we will face Nine with a numerical advantage and with luck..."- Yamikumo hits Nine's figure to knock it down. – "Using the numerical advantage in our favor we will be able to defeat him." –
- "Wow... for a strategy as simple as divide and conquer... it's planned down to the millimeter."- Dabi said.
- "I don't want to leave any loose ends in the strategy."- Yamikumo said. – "It will be difficult, but I trust you."-
- "I'll take care of that woman; you don't have to worry!"- Toga said.
- "I will give my all to win!"- Twice said.
- "I keep thinking that we're wasting time trying to rescue the girl... but I guess there's no other option."- Dabi said.
At that Yamikumo kneels in front of Katsuma. - "I know you won't like it... but I need you to come with us."- Yamikumo said.
- "Me? Why?!"- Katsuma asked.
- "I need you to be there, the real you, so that your sister cooperates and is calm when she sees you safe."- Yamikumo said.
- "I... I don't know... I don't know if I can..."- Katsuma said. – "How come you're not afraid?"-
- "Of course I'm scared... I just don't let it control me."- Yamikumo said. – "I'll tell you something... not being afraid is not what makes you strong... what makes you strong is knowing that you are afraid but still not letting it control you."-
- "It sounds cheesy... but he's right."- Dabi said.
- "Can I count on you?"- Yamikumo asked.
Katsuma looks him in the eyes and then changes his expression to one of determination. - "Yes!"- He said with determination.
Yamikumo smiles. – "Very good... let's get ready, this time we will be ready to fight... we leave in ten minutes!" - Yamikumo gives the orders and everyone prepares, taking their respective briefcases, opening them and taking their villain costumes.
Once everyone has changed, Twice measures Katsuma and everyone heads to the meeting point, all the civilians look at them, but not with fear but with hope, they may be villains, although the civilians don't know it, but for these people they are heroes, this especially seems strange to Dabi, Toga and Twice, it is the first time they are seen like this... it is weird, but pleasant.
Marching towards the indicated point, the four are ready to fight.

Back with Yamikumo, he attacks Nine with his katanas, but Nine creates a wall of wind to protect himself and then sends Yamikumo flying with a gust of wind.
Yamikumo recovers in the air and lands on his feet. – "Very good... so far everything has gone to the letter... I hope the others made it too…"- Yamikumo thought. – "Very well Nine... this battle will be the one that defines everything!"-
Nine extends his right arm. – "For the first time I agree with you."- Nine said as his fingers begin to glow. – "I'll do what I have to do from the beginning... I'll put an end to this nonsense once and for all!"-

So yeah. Here we are.
Another chapter finished and yeah.
We have reached the climax of the arc, the final fights have begun, but don't worry, there are still several chapters left to finish the arc and I'm really liking how it's turning out.
The plan has been put into motion and all that remains is the most complicated part for everyone... winning.
To have context for the situation, I watched the Heroes Rising movie again and shit, I didn't remember these guys being so OP!
I already expected it from Nine, but not so much from the others... especially Chimera... that guy slammed Dark Shadow down with one blow!
Anyway... this chapter was to set for the final fights.
As usual, each fight will have its individual chapter, that is, at least, we will have four chapters of fights, one for each one, although, if I can, I will make Yamikumo against Nine a two-chapter one.
Apart from that, the closing chapter of the arc is also left, so yes, there are still a few chapters left to finish this arc.
