Julia held MK's hand as they waited for the doctor to arrive. She was a tearful mess. Julia didn't blame her one bit. After all, these types of decisions were not easy.

Julia sighed to herself miserably. It was partially her fault this was happening. Julia felt she was such a lousy girlfriend to her and while she prided herself in her true self, she could never forgive herself for what she allowed MK to be put through.

They had a bad breakup at the time it happened. In hindsight, Julia could've handled the situation a lot better than she did but she didn't listen to MK when she was concerned that Julia was dismissing her and Julia didn't know how else to respond to MK's accusations other than lashing out and insulting her. Deep down she didn't really mean it, she loved MK, but she didn't know how to handle this.

She really missed MK after the breakup but she swore to herself that she would not talk to her until she apologized, for what reason, Julia didn't even remember anymore but damn was she prideful.

Things didn't change much for Julia until she got a FaceTime from Bowie, which was weird but out of curiosity she answered it.

When Bowie's face popped up on her phone, Julia glared at him.

"What do you want?" Julia asked angrily.

"Good to see you too." Bowie rolled his eyes before he donned a serious expression, "I needed to call you about a situation. It's about MK."

"I'm not exactly on speaking terms with the little wretch after she bolted on me." Julia told her frenemy.

"Last I checked, you were the one who broke up with her because she was upset that you cared more about your social media than paying attention to her." Bowie narrows his eyes in annoyance which causes Julia to look away guiltily. Deep inside she knew Bowie was right, she wasn't being a good girlfriend to MK but she was too prideful to admit it.

"Whatever. What's the news?" Julia said a bit more despondently than intended, but she hoped Bowie wouldn't pick up on it.

"After you two broke up, MK went out for a drink. Some jerk took advantage of her vulnerable and drunken state and they ended up having a fling. MK ended up feeling sick the morning after, and when she took a pregnancy test… it came out positive." Bowie explained solemnly.

Julia's eyes widened in horror. Sure it kinda stung MK had a fling just after they broke up but from what Bowie was saying, MK was in a vulnerable position and she didn't actually cheat. Hell, she wouldn't have even done this had Julia just bothered to communicate with her better.

It was all her fault.

After Bowie told her MK was staying with the Hockey Bros, Julia immediately rushed over to their apartment as soon as possible. The Hockey Bros surprisingly expected her presence and even more surprisingly, they weren't as cheery as they usually were.

"Where's MK?" Julia asked simply, wanting to get the awkwardness out of the way as soon as possible.

"She's in my room." Raj explained sadly, "She's not doing so hot."

"Yeah, we've never seen her so depressed." Wayne added unhelpfully which caused Raj to elbow him on the shoulder.

"Thanks for your help." Julia sighed before walking towards Raj's bedroom door, "I'll handle this."

The Hockey Bros said nothing and left Julia to stand near the door.

"MK… it's me, Julia." Julia called out from the outside.

"What are you doing here?" A familiar raspy voice was heard from inside, although it was clearly strained from crying.

"I wanted to talk to you. I-I know about what happened." Julia said sympathetically.

"Come to mock and/or lecture me about it I assume?" MK asked solemnly.

"MK… I'm sorry." Julia apologized sincerely, "I know I wasn't giving you the attention you needed and deserved and now this has happened. I didn't mean anything I said that day and I've regretted it since then. Just please come out."

Finally, the doorknob shuffled and the door opened to show a tearful MK as her lip quivered before she ran to embrace Julia.

"I-I'm so sorry!" MK cried out tearfully, "I shouldn't have done what I did! I-I feel so shallow."

"Hey! Don't you EVER call yourself that!" Julia hugged MK back, "I know you wouldn't have done that had you been in a stable mindset. You made a mistake."

"I just- I don't know what I'm gonna do!" MK sniffed, "I have no idea how to raise a kid. I-I used to be a thief for goodness sake. I don't even know whether I should even keep it or not."

"Look MK. Whatever you decide, I'll be here." Julia promised, "I may not have been there before but I can start now."

And that's why they were in this situation now. MK had ended up deciding to get an abortion. A controversial decision that she did not make lightly, mind you. She would've taken responsibility for the child if she could, but given the guy who knocked MK up had bolted on her and the fact this pregnancy was never planned, MK felt she wouldn't have been able to be a good parent.

But despite that, Julia had been adamant in supporting her love interest. They may not have been back together yet, but Julia knew she still loved MK and MK still loved her.

MK's name had finally been called and she took the moment to give another hug to Julia to which she was happy to return before MK walked down the halls, giving a thankful smile for the girl who had bothered to help her in this situation.

Author's Note: Man, that was deep. I wonder why I put my favorite characters through these horrible situations at times? Oh wait, I forgot, it makes for good storytelling.

I felt like I handled MK's situation as best as I could. I hoped you all liked how I decided to end it, I certainly teared up while writing this.
