At the moment we see Ash in Pr. Oaks lab after he came too late to get the starter Pokémon and was asking Pr. Oak if he didn't have another Pokémon for him to which Pr. Oak went to another machine and when it opened it showed 3 Poke balls as Pr. Oak said "Well I have these three but I only have them because Mr. Clavel from the Paldea region since I wanted to do some Research on them, although I am willing to give the three of them to you under 2 conditions" but before he could say them Ash already agreed to the conditions " well anyway the conditions are 1 you have to take great care of them since like I said they aren't well-versed in the environment and secondly I want you to keep me up to date with their progress and with them" Ash nodded again as Pr. Oak introduced them to him and the three were the Fire Crocodile Fuecoco, the Grass cat Sprigatito and the Water Duck Quaxly as the Grass and fire Pokémon warmed up to him fast he knew the Quaxly needed some time since he looked like he was scared of the 2 and Ash guessed something happened to him before that Clavel got him after that, saying goodbye to Pr. Oak and getting Embarrassed by his mother Ash left with Fuecoco on his shoulder and Sprigatito next to him.

On route one he caught himself a Spearow and started to train the three and started to try to get Quaxly to trust him more and don't be so shy and that he didn't have to fear the four of them (including Spearow) and he started to get advancements on it as he spend 3 days training in the wild either against each other or wild pokemon which he would later heal with the Berries and potions he had packed for the journey, he was Surprised that Quaxly already knew Brick break and Water Pulse, Fuecoco knew Shadow Ball and Flamethrower and Sprigatito knew Dark Pulse and Giga drain while Spearow knew Tri attack and Brave bird.

After the training season Ash continued his way along the river until he came up to a Girl with Orang hair being battered by a Garados and an Eelektross as Ash said "Frick that Girl is in trouble we have to get them away from her Sprigatito Dark pulse on the Garados, Fuecoco Flamethrower on the Eelektross" Ash said as the two nodded as they fired their attacks onto the pokemon and it had the wanted effect of getting their attention from the girl and onto them as the battle began with Fuecoco against Eelektross and Sprigatito against Garados and to say the battle was a devastating one was an understatement but thankfully the 2 were able to dodge most of the attacks thanks to their speed and in contrary were able to hit them thanks to their size and in the end they used that to their advantage with a Grass pledge and Fire spin combi to finish them of.

After catching the 2 of them with an Ultraball each he with the Sprigatito went over to the girl who was knocked Unconscious in the battle while her Starmie and Lapras where both injured after getting them away from the lake and putting bandages around her Bruises and also healing her pokemon who were still unconscious as well as Sprigatito and Fuecoco after congratulating them he started to cook for dinner since the girl wouldn't be able to move without risking to get hurt more today + it was looking like it was going to rain in the night but Ash was actually planning to arrive at Veridian City before it got dark but those plans got thrown into a bin with what happened now at least he now had 2 new pokemon although they would have to go to the Pokémon Center first before Ash would send them out since Injured pokemon are dangerous Pokémon.

After 3 hours the girl woke up and at first was confused as to what happened to her and after Ash explained it to her and the surprise, she had that two starters defeated two very powerful pokemon and the fact that her pokemon where Okey, she introduced herself as Misty Waterflower and thanked Ash for rescuing her from the Eelektross and Garados.

Over the rest of the day the two got to know each other as Misty was surprised that Ash actually caught the two Pokémon, while eating dinner Misty made a big mistake since Ash had send out Quaxly and Spearow and Misty came to close to him and ended up with a Low Kick to the stomach and at first she was furies about it but when Ash told her that it was because of what Ash thought was a trauma from before Ash or Pr. Oak got him because he doesn't even trust Ash fully.

Misty then told Ash the story of her Lapras and how she was abandoned by her Pack because she was thought to be to week for them and even was attacked by her own mother when she tried to go back to them, which shocked Ash and his pokemon at how cruel a family could be.

After that Ash and Misty saw that Lapras and Starmie had woken up and after checking on them Ash saw that they looked better but should get looked after by Nurse Joy tomorrow.

After that Ash and Misty went to sleep inside Ash's sleeping bags since Ash had brought 2 with him for such a situation and the slept with Sprigatito laying on his legs while Fuecoco snuggled against his chest.

(next day)

In the Afternoon Ash and Misty finally arrived at Veridian City although just before that they saw something beautiful a Shiny Ho-oh flying over the horizon as Ash took a Picture a rainbow feather came down from the sky as Ash took it and put it on a Necklace around his neck.

When they arrived at Veridian City they were stopped by Officer Rocky who was searching for a group called team Rocket who is stealing the pokemon of trainers but after showing them their ID she drove them to the Pokémon center on the passenger seat of her motorbike and as they arrived she drove into the Pokemon Center Officer Rocky drove into the Pokémon center and for it was told by Nurse joy that she shouldn't do it but then asked Ash and Misty what they wanted and after returning Sprigatito and Fuecoco they gave Nurse Joy their Pokémon although Ash warned her about his Garados and Eelektross to which both were shocked about this since a beginner had defeated such strong pokemon in such short amount of time after they left Ash went over to the Calling station and called Pr. Oak who answered the call and after he greet them he asked Ash if he had already caught a Pokémon to which Ash answered "Well I actually caught 3 Pokémon already".

At this Pr. Oak did a victory dance and when Ash asked why he answered that he and Gary did a bid if Ash would catch a pokemon before arriving in Veridian City and Pr. Oak went with it and because of it wan 1000 Pokédollars after that Ash told Pr. Oak about them seeing Ho-oh and showing him the Rainbow feather Ash ended the call after he was called by Nurse Joy, who then berated him for Catching and attacking a Pregnant Pokémon which shocked Ash and when he asked what she meant she told him that the Eelektross was pregnant and that made a Lightbulb go on in Ash's head, and he explained why he attacked them was to protect Misty and he didn't know that the Eelektross was pregnant.

After Nurse Joy forgave him, Ash went to where the 2 were after getting his other pokemon back and explained to them what happened and the two after some thinking forgave him.

At that moment Ash heard a loud sound coming from the entrance section and when he went there, he saw a group called team Rocket who wanted to steal the Pokémon of the Pokémon center but with the help of Spearow who they had made fun of Ash send them flying.

After being thanked by Nurse joy and Officer Rocky Ash called his mother who like Nurse Joy berated him for the Eelektross incident and after that they talked a bit before Ash went to sleep.

Ash and Misty stayed in the pokemon center for a few days for Eelektross and Garados to recover after which Ash was shocked to see that the two wanted to stay with him to which he was happy about it but he send them to Pr. Oak till Eelektross had laid her Eggs.

After that Ash and Misty headed towards the Veridian forest where Misty was complaining the whole time because she hated Bug Pokémon, but Ash ignored it as they traveled through the forest Ash caught a Few pokemon first were a Wattrel and a Pidgeotto who had been arguing about something but after settling that with the help of Spearow as a thanks they joined him, next was a Caterpie which wanted to become stronger and because of it joined him.

Then there was an incident with a Beedrill hive where they accidently angered them and a Shiny Beedrill attacked them as Ash's Butterfree who had just evolved after being kidnapped by the same Beedrill, was able to beat them and Ash caught the leader, and the pack actually gave him before they left a Mega stone for the Beedrill.

Then there was a prankster Zorua who had tricked travelers with it's illusions but Ash was able to see threw it and after defeating it with his new Beedrill Ash caught the little Prankster.

And lastly where 2 sad stories first was a Larvesta who was thrown out of it's hive because it was to week and after Ash encouraged him, he joined Ash's team and secondly was a shiny Shroomish who Ash and Misty found next to a dead Breloom and after ensuring him that Ash would take care of him the Shroomish joined Ash's team after this they finally arrived at the exit of the forest and finally enter Pewter city where there was a man who sold stones and Ash could tell that one of them inherited Fossils so he bought them and with the help of Quaxly revealed that it was actually three fossils and those were a Plume, a Jaw and a Sail fossil which he send to Pr. Oak to get revived and asked him to send over Shroomish, Garados and Zorua for Beedrill, Butterfree and Spearow which he did.

After that Ash used another 3 days to train for the battle which helped Shroomish and Zorua a lot to get used to being commanded by Ash and Garados took Quaxly under his wing.

The night before the battle Misty asked Ash "will you use Garados tomorrow".

To which he answered "probably not only if he uses a pokemon strong enough of or if it is a 5vs5 or 6vs6 battle but I have heard from a friend of mine it will be a 3vs3 battle and in this case I will probably use Shroomish, Quaxly and Sprigatito" Ash said as Fuecoco was down at this sentence which ash saw as said "don't worry you will get your time to shine but you are at a type disadvantage against Rock type, but you can cheer for your friends next to me" Ash said as Fuecoco was now happy again.

With that they went to sleep ready for the battle tomorrow.

(Next day)

Ash and Misty stood in front of the gym with Fuecoco next to them while Sprigatito was inside her Pokéball.

After they entered Misty and Fuecoco went to the stands while Ash went to the field where he said "Gym leader Brock, my name is Ash Ketchum and I challenge you to a gym battle" suddenly lights were shown in front of Ash on the other side of the field where Brock stood.

"Well Ash I accept your challenge our rules are this will be a 3vs3 battle and only you can change pokemon and the battle will be over when all pokemon of one side are unable to battle, is this okey for you" Brock said as Ash nodded "well then let the battle begin, Geodude go" Brock said as the rock with 2 hands appeared on the field ready for battle.

"Shroomish I chose you" Ash said as the mushroom Pokémon appeared on the field ready for battle Brock and his Siblings Ash didn't know about who were in the stands where surprised to see a Shiny.

The battle was a close one since Shroomish wasn't as experienced as the Geodude but still profited from his grass type attacks and that in the end made the difference since he held Geodude in place with Leach seed and finished it off with Seed bomb.

Brock returned his defeated Pokémon and thanked him before taking out his next pokemon "Omanyte go" Brock said as the ancient Pokémon appeared on the field ready to battle.

"Return Shroomish" Ash said as he returned his Pokémon and thanked him before taking out his next Pokémon "Sprigatito go" Ash said as the grass cat appeared on the field.

The battle was a short one as Sprigatito was already more experienced as Shroomish and with Omanyte being both Water and Rock type Pokémon and in the end Sprigatito finished it off with a combination of Razor leaf and Energie ball.

Brock returned his pokemon and thanked it before taking out his last Pokémon "Onix you are my last hope" Brock said as the Rock snake appeared on the field ready for battle.

"Return Sprigatito" Ash said as he returned his pokemon and thanked him before taking out his last pokemon "Garados I chose you" he said as the Water snake appeared on the field ready for battle as Brock was surprised at its appearance.

The battle was a terrifying one as both where big and did a lot of damage to the field and to the other, but Garados was able to profit thanks to its water type attacks and, in the end, Garados finished it off with a Hydro pump.

After returning their pokemon and thanking them before meeting in the middle but as Brock was giving Ash the badge he was held by Brock's siblings since they couldn't accept the fact that Ash defeated their big brother although after Brock told them that Ash won fair and square they got of off him and Ash took the Boulder badge and after saying goodbye to them Ash met up with Misty and Fuecoco who tackled him down and after that they went to the Pokémon center, since they decided to head towards Mount Moon tomorrow and take the rest of the day of.

Over the rest of the day not much happened only Ash had sent Garados and Shroomish back to Oak's Lab and gotten Wattrel and Larvesta.

(Next day)

Ash, Misty, Fuecoco and Sprigatito were standing at the exit of Pewter city as suddenly Ash heard "Wait" when they turned around, they saw Brock coming towards them.

"Brock what are you doing here" well I wanted to say goodbye to you and for you to live your dream" both of them were confused about that and when Ash asked why he said that he wanted to become a breeder, but he has to look after his siblings and couldn't follow his dreams but at that moment the man that sold the stones came up to them and he turned out to be Brocks lost father and he wanted Brock to go with Ash on his way to become a breeder while he would take care of the family and at first Brock wasn't able to forgive him but with the encouraging of Ash he gave him one chance and if he didn't use it well he would send his Onix after him and after that the 5 of them left Pewter city.

(This story was an Idea that came to my mind a month ago but first I wanted to do a version with a new type called Cosmic type, but I haven't yet gotten the rights to use the and so decided to do this.

Next Chapter will be Mount Moon, Cerulean City and Aj's Gym and in this Story, I will write all of Ash's pokemon at the end of the chapter.
