I'm having to spell this out AGAIN. Across the Dimensions is episodic. This story occurs after Series (Story Arc): The Fifth Division in the Red, Story: At the Red End.

Alright! It's been a long while since I did one of these intros. Does this mean I get paid more money?
[Yumichika (from off stage): Just get on with it!]
Uh, yeah, where was I?
PREVIOUSLY ON BLEACH: ACROSS THE DIMENSIONS:
Wow, what a rollercoaster of series - is it series or season - we just passed. How fast can I sum this up?
Way back in the day in The Royal Realm, there was an elder god named Shirayukihime no Tenjou. A lot happened. She was reincarnated many times. You know, like the way you see in those Chinese costume dramas that retell mythology, not that cringy anime where a teen is dating someone who MIGHT BE an adult depending on which version you watch, and all that teen does is cry 24/7. Hey at least we haven't been compared to the fics with the twelve-year-old who is with the adult. Yep, ratings, I won't go further explaining THAT one.
So, her last two incarnations were Yukihime Suzunami and Shirahime Thorne. Shirahime had a lot of adventures. I just only met Yukihime recently. Turns out Yukihime had 3 kids with Aizen: Hidetomo, Daichi, and Raiko.
[Shirahime (from off stage): Did you just say what I think you said. I told people that NOBODY was allowed to call him Daichi and Raiko's father!]
SORRY, Shira! Of course, I don't mean it! So, a lot of SPOILERS occurred during last season/series, The Fifth Division in the Red. The actual Soul King joined a contest to marry both Shirahime and Yukihime. In the end of it all, he hijacked the whole thing and made Shirahime his queen. Yeah, someone else won the contest, SPOILERS, but until she gets the king to LET GO, nobody is winning!
Fragments of the king's body are out in the world. One of which was Orihime's Shun Shun Rikka. As much as they might follow her, the Soul King is their ultimate master.
Once they first recognized Shirahime as an incarnation of Shirayukihime no Tenjou, they swore their allegiance to her. Orihime is not part of the Royal Family, so she had no way of objecting to their abandonment. Shirahime, mother of all the Imperial Children, ranks second only to the Soul King.
As they are fragments of the king, they are loyal to her. She is their master's wife, after all.
Something terrible just happened. After the representatives from the Royal Realm left, Shirahime disappeared not soon after that.
I swear I'm going to - huh, what's this? I have such a pain in my head that -. What's happening to me?

THE ROYAL REALM
Blood poured down Shirahime Thorne's back as the whip sliced her flesh yet again. She said nothing as the 444th lash fell.
It was only 1,000 lashes this time.
In very plain English, speech not inhibited by pain, she said, "Long live the emperor. Long die the traitors!"
The corrupt priest Ichibe shoved Goro Kuchiki's whip aside as he stabbed Shirahime with his own staff.
She repeated the words again, this time in Mandarin. She repeated again, English, then Mandarin, over and over.
Between recitations, she looked up to the ugly thing known as the Soul King.
"You promised me. You promised me that I am your wife. Why do you do this? Why do you do nothing? Do you enjoy seeing your grandchildren die? Why are you a coward?"
"Sit in your cage and be good, my queen," Goro said.
"Whatever you are planning, I can and will stop all of you. You tried to kill me, but I still didn't die. I am a god. An elder god, and you two are nothing compared to me."
The Soul King stirred.
Ichibe punched her across the face. "You wake our king too much."
"I am still your queen. If you were a loyal servant, you would go die," Shirahime said.
"Oh, but I am. I am loyal to the king I love the most - myself," Ichibe said.
"You are a man with no character. How about this? You tell me about your twisted version of Buddhism, and I'll quote you Confucius. I bet you'll even forget your lies in your frustration!"
Goro shoved her down. He came closer. Her vision shifted.
"You'd do well, Ichibe, in the mortal world. The Japanese government is a perfect fit for you. They lie about Comfort Women and what they've done to the Koreans all the time. They'd love a twisted priest like you."

SOUL SOCIETY - FIFTH DIVISION
"Clear! Come on! Come on!" a man screamed. "Don't come in here, Raiko! Daichi! No! Stay back! Stay with me! Taizifei! Come on, princess!"

URAHARA SHOP - OUTSIDE
Shirahime appeared mid-air and fell to the ground.
She felt out of her mind, like she was just looking at her body from across the street. She heard footsteps.
"Don't come over, Mèimei. Stay away."
She moved her hands outward, trying to make a "go away" gesture.
The footsteps came closer. "No, Mèimei. Get second sister. Stay away."
"Well, what do you think has happened to her, you idiot?" Jinta's voice. "And what this meme (in English, would sound like "maymay") mean?"
"I think I should know it. We should go get Tessai!"
"But isn't she kind of naked?"
"I don't think she wants to be. Let's go."

URAHARA SHOP - INSIDE
Orihime Inuoe modeled her newest outfit, courtesy of Urahara. She loved the way her . . . .
[People, I just can't describe this. She's a child, GROSS! But Kisuke is loving it. And Yoruichi is actually encouraging this mess. Serious WTF PEOPLE Moment. Fill this description in if you want. Yeah, I'm just implying something gross happens here.]
[Anyways, she really enjoyed this shit. And if this were either a manga or anime, the audience is supposed to be loving a sexualized fifteen-year-old. WTF PEOPLE Moment Number Two.]
[Maybe the fact that both the author here and the main character are Americans, the WTF PEOPLE thought pops up. After all, Americans are racist when they do not support an adult, a very old adult, having [CENSORED] with a twelve-year-old. Yeah, thank you, Internet. If not supporting the thousand-year-old [CENSORED] a twelve-year-old, and flat-out calling it the rape that it is, makes anyone racist, Internet whiners just go right ahead and start calling names.]
Uryu had some sort of trope heavy nosebleed, and Ichigo was clueless. Rukia didn't catch on as to what the big deal was. In fact, Ichigo turned away from looking at the funny looking Orihime and struck up a conversation with Rukia.
Chad looked unimpressed. He's part Mexican. No, not just throwing that in there as a throw-away-line. Therefore, he was used to racist attitudes.
"Did someone just call somebody a racist American because they don't approve of child rape?" Chad asked aloud.
"Huh?" asked Ichigo and Rukia together.
Kisuke Urhara skipped that nosebleed stage and almost voiced his perverted thoughts aloud. Yoruichi shared some weird looks with him . . . .
[And this author's just not going to share what they said, because this version of the story is Rated M, and the author is not planning to make an Explicit version.]
[A group of FFN'ers are protesting and shouting, "Why not?" since, as of this date, there are Explicit fic labeled just "M" on FFN, and it is no big deal. Parents, keep your kids OFF of social media! Not safe!]
Tessai was over all this mess. How many times was Kisuke going to try to live out some weird three-person fantasy - well, never mind, Orihime is a child. Tessai's about ready to vomit even thinking about what he knows Kisuke is thinking about.
"Boss," Tessai said, "I think that would look better on Yoruichi. I don't think you should give it to Orihime. It's a bad joke."
"Oh, it would look better on Yoruichi?" Kisuke challenged. "She's not your woman!"
"Mr. Tessai!" Ururu called as she burst in the door. "Mr. Tessai, I need your help! There's a woman outside and -."
"- She's practically naked!" Jinta finished.
"Alright!" Kisuke exclaimed. "It must be my day!"
Yoruichi backhanded him.
"I think she knows me," Ururu said. "She keeps calling me Meme, but -."
"Wait, wait, wait," Yoruichi cut in, "do you mean Mèimei?"
"Big effing deal," Kisuke brushed it off.
She smacked Kisuke and looked quickly to Tessai. "Let's go!"
Yoruichi rushed out the door, Tessai close behind her. Kisuke stayed, staring inappropriately at Orihime.
"Mr. Kisuke," Ururu interrupted his perverted thought, "she really shouldn't be naked."
"Oh," he said, "Orihime here is wearing way too many clothes. I can do less."
"No, Mr. Kisuke," Ururu said, "I'm not talking about her!"
"You're weird," Jinta said. "You never shut up about naked Orihime and some other weird things I don't know what you're talking about."
"Maybe we should go check on her," Rukia said. "Kisuke, you can just stay here and look at Orihime."
"Yeah," Ichigo agreed.
Rukia, Ichigo, and Chad left. Ururu and Jinta looked at each other, then left Kisuke alone with Uryu and Orihime.

URAHARA SHOP - OUTSIDE
Tessai inhaled sharply as he came closer to the woman.
"How is she even still alive?" he asked.
He looked down to Yoruichi, curled in a ball, holding the woman's hand.
"Yoruichi?" Tessai prompted her.
He saw tears run down Yoruichi's face. She said nothing.
"Why? Why does seeing her make me cry?" Yoruichi said.
A loud thunder boomed as a senkaimon opened nearby.
"I knew it!" Soi Fon said. She rushed to Yoruichi's side.
A woman and several others came with her. They wore the robes of shinigami.
"Who are these people, Soi Fon?" Yoruichi asked.
"Who are these people?" Soi Fon repeated. "Let me guess, you don't know who this woman is, do you?"
Yoruichi turned to her. She cried harder.
Rukia, Ichigo, and Chad got closer.
"Look away!" Rukia screamed. "Don't look at her!"
"Come on, Lady Yoruichi," Soi Fon encouraged her, "who is this woman?"
"I don't know!" Yoruichi screamed.
Having gotten bored being stared at by Urahara, Orihime came out to see the others, followed by Uryu.
"What happened?" Orihime asked.
"Um, Orihime," Uryu said, "it's kind of - well, not kind of - it is obvious. But you really should not be looking at her. Just don't look. I'm planning on being a doctor, so it's my duty -."
"I'll just use my powers. She'll be okay," Orihime said.
Soi Fon and the others with her shared a look. She nodded to the others to keep silent.
"Soten Kisshun! I reject!"
"Soten Kisshun, you're a reject."
"I REJECT!"
"Soten Kisshun, you're a reject."
"I REJECT!"
"Soten Kisshun, you're a reject."
"I REJECT!"
"Soten Kisshun, you're a reject."
"I REJECT!"
"Soten Kisshun, you're a reject."
"I REJECT!"
"Soten Kisshun, you're a reject."
"I REJECT! I REJECT! I REJECT!"
"Enough already!" Soi Fon hissed in Mandarin.
"It won't work," the woman with her said.
"You're - you're not Chinese," Yoruichi said, confused.
"Chinese," Uryu repeated. "Mandarin." He fell to the ground and clutched his head. His eyes widened as he inhaled sharply. "Shifu. Mom. Mom!"
Uryu pushed Orihime aside and took Shirahime in his arms.
"Mom, mom wake up! Open your eyes, mom! Mom!"
One by one, the spirits of Shun Shun Rikka appeared. They knelt.
"Oh, look!" Orihime exclaimed. "They are bowing to me!"
"Fool!" Yoruichi hissed.
"Go figure," the shinigami that spoke before said.
"No, no," Uryu said. "No, it's not you. Why do you always think it's you? That really annoys me about you. THIS WHOLE SERIES DOESN'T REVOLVE AROUND YOU AND YOUR FANS!" He paused. "Oh, never mind. You only speak Japanese and just a little English, so you've got now idea what I just said."
"I know you said I'm awesome," Orihime said.

Ichigo Kurosaki executed a "stage cough." "You're right, Uryu. This story IS NOT about Orihime. MY GODS, it even get RETITLED already on FFN! This series is called Across the Dimensions and has been about Shirahime for over 10 seasons and 20 stories now. Who the HELL does not get that yet?"
"All my adoring fans who worship me," Orihime answered. "Everybody role playing that I [CENSORED] you, Ichigo. Then there are those CREEPY adults on the Internet who [CENSORED CENSORED CENSORED]. OF COURSE, IT'S ALL ABOUT ME, ORIHIME! After all, my name even has PRINCESS IN IT - OKAY GUYS, I CAN'T KEEP THIS UP. I'm not the ELDER GOD around here. SO WHY WOULD I BE MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE ELDER GOD WHO IS THE MOTHER OF THE SOUL KING'S GRANDCHILDREN?"
"You'd be surprised," Rukia said. "Just don't go on BEDDIT - everyone would kill all of us for not ICHIGO + ORIHIME FOREVER AND EVER! I've checked the stats. We need to move this series over to AO3 and close the FFN entries. This clarification bit is getting RIDICULOUS!"
"Yeah," Orihime said, taking out her script. "I'm so tired of being thought of as saint or something. I'm used to getting sexually molested by the adult characters - URAHARA - 'cause that happens all the time - and the TOKEN LESBIAN.
The TOKEN LESBIAN enters. "Hey, am I in this story?"
"I don't know yet. You're in the Princess in Eleventh Division Season, but we are still filming the scenes dealing with Hollow Ichigo trying to * BLEEP * Shirahime here and Toshiro, too.
"Yeah," Uryu said, "but the EXPLICIT version is so far ahead of the Rated M Version."
Kisuke Urahara steps outside. "Hey, let's take a vote here. Who is tired of posting this fic on FFN and dealing with having to explain the SAME AUTHOR'S NOTES AGAIN AND AGAIN?"
A show of hands shot up, including one from Shirahime.
Ayame tip-toed over to Shirahime. "You're supposed to be, well, we haven't said it exactly."
"It's called making an aside, well, no, this is not exactly it," Uryu said. "We're all taking a break from our scripts right now. Hey, Orihime, do you mind that I just screamed at you in Mandarin?"
"No, not at all Uryu," Orihime said, "apparently my character just CAN'T SEEM TO GET Shun Shun Rikka does not belong to me. It makes logical sense, but I think it has something to do with that bread and chest joke on the Internet."
"What?" Ichigo asked.
"It's a really inappropriate innuendo about a child."
"Another one?" Chad said. "Why are adult so loving sexualizing children? This happens to you all the time, doesn't it?"
"Yep," Orihime said, "and since I don't exactly have parental figures and know where babies come from, I'm clueless at Kisuke and others molesting me."
The Token Lesbian storms up to her. "What about me?"
"Well, I just assume all lesbians are like you, of course," Orihime said. "You're the only lesbian in TK's series that seems to be an obvious lesbian, well SPOILERS, so that's a statement on how lesbians are supposed to be like!"
"But what about the lesbians and bisexuals wanting to date this princess here?" Token Lesbian demanded.
"Well," Chad said, "they are characterized quite nicely. It's good to see that not all homosexual people molest people of their same gender. That's obvious, but you should see what you do on screen all the time. Um, whatever your name is again."
"It's -."
"Your name is not important," Uryu snapped. "You just perform a function, check a box. If you were in another manga or anime universe, you could be interesting, but just stay away."
"Oh, look," Ichigo said, interrupting them, "it's Momo Hinamori."
Momo walked up to them.
"You're not in this scene," the yet-to-be-named shinigami woman said.
"I'm just making sure you all aren't getting a lot of hate since I'm not being shipped with Aizen or Toshiro. Yuck and yuck."
"We're still in the season when you're in love with Shirahime," the woman reminded her.
"Some of the audience is totally going to hate you now, Momo!" Orihime exclaimed. "They only want you to be a lesbian if you're paired up with Rangiku."
"Are you kidding me?" Momo asked. "She's saying I had a kid with Aizen! And we all know he had Hidetomo with Yukihime, now Taicho!"
Shirahime sat up, enduring pain. "Don't tell me you've been saying that around Daichi and Raiko! I don't want anyone to call the Bad Man their father!"
"Just because it happened against your will does not mean I am a bad man!"
Everyone turned to see Aizen appearing right beside Shirahime.
"Oh, because I love my children, Suki, I am supposed to love the genetic donor who forced himself upon me? Are you serious?"
"I am simply standing in for some people out there who actually believe that."
"But Aizen Taicho," Momo interrupted, "you believe that, too."
"Aizen Taicho?" Rukia asked. "She's still saying that?"
"Oh, Hinamori," Aizen greeted, "so lovely to see you stab free. Now, do you know how the birds and the bees work? Maybe? Good, because I've decided you and Daichi will make nice babies together!"
Soi Fon smacked her hand against her face in annoyance. "Do you know what season that's in?" she asked. "We only just passed The Fifth Division in the Red!"
"Hey, while we are taking a break here, I gotta ask," Urahara began, "Yoruichi, are you going to hate me when I make this incestual innuendo to our aijou over there?"
"I'll tolerate it for the sake of the script!" Yoruichi exclaimed. "Just remember when you are supposed to remember."
"Hey!" Momo exclaimed. "No spoilers! Uh, wait a minute, were we calling them "Seasons" or "Series?" Did we get the poll back from SPACEBOOK yet?"
"You know, everyone, I am still practically naked here," Shirahime said. "It's starting to feel pretty cold to me. Can we get back to the script?"
"Yes, Taicho!" Momo exclaimed. "Time for me to leave. You, too, Aizen Taicho. Go away and have your dreams about my beloved Taicho silently to yourself."
"We were never alone when Hime and I had my beloved zanpakuto with us."
"More than I needed to know!" Rukia screamed.
"You'd better get moving," Chad said to the Token Lesbian. "If you want to know how to act less creepy, go read Princess on Vacation. Unohana's pretty aggressive, but not creepy like you," he said. "And there's also Isane and Nanao."
"You mean there's a lesbian pairing in it?" she asked.
"You say this like it is a complete surprise," Uryu said. "Now, go, please. My mom is cold. Now, where were we? Ah, yes, Orihime, you are supposed to think that the fairies are worshiping you again."
"That's right," Orihime said. "It's really stupid that I actually think that."
"But completely in character to what happened in At the Red End!" Ichigo added.

"We show respect to the Elder God Shirayukihime," Shun Shun Rikka said together. "We are yours to command, Master."
"Well," Orihime said, "we are friends. You don't have to have to call me master."
Shun'o punched Orihime in the gut, her intestines bleeding out.
"Show respect!" Ayame yelled.
"Well, Rei," Shirahime said through gasping breaths to the Soul King, "did I make the right choice?"
"My fragments belong to you," the Soul King said.
"Orihime, she'd lose her mind without the wicked fairies."
"You should punish her. She should be punished under the law of the Emperor of Heaven. Why do you shield her because of her age?"
"She is a child."
"Even children have been known to commit violent crimes. You save her this time; she'll keep expecting you to save her."
"Give a man a fish or teach him to fish. But she won't learn fishing. She won't let go of her obsession."
"She will die on her eighteenth birthday. Karma shall have her. Will you still defend her?"
"No, by then, no."
"Good, then sleep, my queen, one thousand lashes is a large amount - even to an elder god such as yourself."
