The capital of Japan, Tokyo, was infamous for many things. That being the various districts inhabited by ghouls. At first look, a ghoul doesn't look any different from your normal human, however internally is another story. The Ghouls are known for their enhanced physical abilities, regenerative healing factor and invulnerability to conventional weapons however these differ from individuals mostly depending on how well fed the ghoul is. All ghouls possess a kagune, a biological organ unique to their physiology that serves as their natural weaponry and or armour. But what they're most famous for is being humanity's only natural predator they can only survive through devouring human flesh. .

Even so there are those unsure of the existence of ghouls as they have not personally met them. One such human sat at a table in a cafe named Anteiku. He is a boy with black hair and eyes and an average japanese male physique. Across from him sat his best friend, a boy with blonde hair and golden eyes named Nagachika Hideo. who wasn't paying much attention to his best friend as was busy trying and failing to flirt with a waitress. The waitress has blue hair with bangs covering one of her blue eyes and possesses an attractive athletic physique, an overall Japanese beauty named Kirishima Touka.

Touka: Will that be all sir?

Hideo: Yeah!

Kaneki sighed, embarrassed by his loud and obnoxious best friend. He truly respects the girl for being able to remain stoic through all that.

Kaneki: Please stop badgering the poor girl Hideo, she clearly isn't interested.

Hideo: Fine, fine! Anyway…. Is that her? The girl you're so in love with sitting over there.

But he was right. Although it wasn't love but simply admiration from afar.

The woman Hideo was pointing at was a mature beauty with purple hair and eyes of the same colour behind the red rimmed glasses she wore. She held in her hands a book titled "The Black Goat". Her name was Kamishiro Rize.

While the two were talking, Rize was listening carefully. What they didn't know was that she was a ghoul along with almost everyone else in the shop as Anteiku was a hotspot for ghouls. She had her eyes on Kankei for a while now. He could be a good snack she thought to herself while licking her lips sensually. Suddenly, she was pulled out of her thoughts and froze along with every other ghoul in the shop. What…..was that divine smell they all thought in their heads? A bell rang as the door was opened. Inside enters a boy with blue eyes, dark hair and a swimmers physique named Kumagawa Misogi.

Is that what Hide asked?

Yes.

Kumgawa saw the two of them and waved his hands at his cousin. However he stopped on the way as he noticed Rize.

Kumagawa "Excuse me, isn't that one of Takasugi Sen's books." he asked Rize.

Unlike what some may think, Kumgawa didn't solely read just Shonen Jump. It started when Medaka said she always saw him reading that and him wanting to spite her. Which is his motivation for most of his actions.

Rize: Oh? How interesting I don't meet many people interested in it.

Kumagawa: Maybe we can talk more about it.

Rize: How about four?

Kumagawa: District centre?

Rize: It's a date.

As Rize finished drinking her coffee she packed her book and leg twitches a cheerful smile. As Kumgawa came closer to the two boys Hide put his shoulder on Kaneki, looked him in the eyes and said you just got NTred. Followed by Kaneki moaning in depression. Your cousin is really smooth. I already like him. Are you sure you two are related to Kaneki?

Kaneki was snapped out of his depression by Kumagawa's voice. He recomposed himself and introduced the two of them as they exchanged pleasantries. Mad respect for what you just did! Although Kaneki isn't so thrilled about it.

The two even went to a movie overall, a pretty successful date and right now they were walking down a dark alley. Throughout the whole date Rize never once took her attention off him. Her bloodlust directed at him the whole time! If he was more emotional his heart might've fluttered! This was a great date, Kumagawa-san! Yeah I really enjoyed it as well. Her voice took a more sinister tone truly….. Rizes eyes suddenly changed, the sclera became black while the pupil was red. Four crimson tentacles popped out, a Rinkaku Kagune sprouted through her back revealing her identity as a ghoul. I really wanted to taste you , she said with a little madness in her voice. Her head fell upon his shoulder where she bit deep into his flesh. The strange thing though was he was very calm upon this ordeal. Something she'd pay more attention to if she wasn't so absorbed by his taste. Kumagawa sighed. I expected this to happen but I really hoped that you'd be tasting my dick. She held her head back up. As she noticed Kumagawa started groping her breasts. A burst of pleasure escaped from her mouth while she licked the blood off her lips. Eh, I guess this is not so bad as well. As the punch connected with her Kagune her body was blown back dozens of metres till she crashed right through a brick wall. When she got up she saw Kumagawa not paying any attention to her, enraged that she was being looked down on by a human. She launched her Kagune and pierced his chest. However he didn't seem the least bit bothered, in fact a sinister smile came on his face stretching far beyond what should be humanly possible as a dark aura erupted from him. This was the moment where she realised she wasn't the predator, she was the prey. He gripped her kagune pulled her close to him then placed her on the ground much to her confusion. As she saw steel bars falling from above them her life flashed before her eyes she closed her eyes and awaited for the imminent impact only it never came as he protected her using his own body. The minus pulled bars aside and emerged rubble completely unharmed, shocking her. As she tried to make sense of what's happening he smiled at her and simply said So….. will there be a second date he asked. Eh?
