When morning came to the bayou, Naveen was still sleeping inside the trunk when he felt an acorn hit his head.

"Ow!"

"Let's hop along, little froggie!" he heard Luan laugh. "Get it?"

Naveen looked outside to see that we Louds, Hops, and Tiana had built a raft big enough to hold all of us."

"All joking aside," said Tiana. "We gotta get back to New Orleans and undo this mess you got us into."

"I was not the one parading around with a phony-baloney tiara." Naveen said once he hopped into the raft, plucking out a twig, which had a bit of spider's web on it, strumming it like it was a ukulele. "Music to paddle by."

"Sick playing, dude." said Luna. "Let me have a go on that."

She took the ukulele twig from Naveen, taking her turn.

"Luna, how about a little less playing and a..." Tiana said, only to stop herself upon seeing another alligator behind our raft.

We all screamed as the gator opened his jaws. But instead of devouring us, he exclaimed. "I know that tune! Dippermouth Blues!"

We just kept our eyes closed in fear when we heard the alligator...blow on a trumpet.

"Play it, brother!" said Naveen, who took the ukulele twig back from Luna, playing along with the alligator to our shock and confusion.

The alligator laughed as he twirled Naveen around. "Where have you been all my life?"

"Where did you learn to play like that, dude?" asked Luna.

"Well, the bayou's the best jazz school in the world. All the greats play the riverboats." explained the alligator. "Old Louis would give anything to be up there jamming with the big boys."

"Why don't you?" asked Naveen.

"Oh, I tried once. It didn't end well." Louis said, recalling the time he snuck into a passing riverboat to play alongside the band, only to scared away by the screaming passengers and the gun-carrying hunters.

"Mm-hmm. Well, it was literally nice to meet you...Louis." Lori said as she pushed Luna and Naveen towards the raft, where Tiana added. "And thank you kindly for not eating us, but we best be on our way."

"Where...where are you going?" asked Louis.

"To find somebody to break this spell." Tiana replied as she started to row our raft away.

"What spell?" asked Louis.

"Permit me to explain, my scaly friend." said Lisa. "You see, we are not rabbits, or frogs, in their case. We're actually humans."

Louis laughed, then asked. "You're kidding, right?"

"I never kid." Lisa replied, before being pushed aside by Naveen, who introduced himself. "I am Naveen, Prince of Maldonia. These are the Louds and that's Tiana, the waitress. Do not kiss her."

Lisa cleared her throat. "As I was about to say, we've been respectively turned into frogs and rabbits by Dr. Facilier, a voodoo enthusiast, and now..."

"Voodoo?" interrupted Louis. "Like the kind Mama Odie does?"

"Mama Who-dee?" asked Lola.

"Mama Odie. She's the voodoo queen of the bayou." explained Louis. "She's got magic and spells, all kinds of hoodoo."

"Sounds like Lucy's type of person." said Lynn, who, along with rest of us, saw that Lucy wasn't here.

Realizing what happened to her, Lisa proclaimed. "Then, our goal is clear. We must locate this Mama Odie, get her to change us back to our human form, then return to New Orleans and save Lucy from Dr. Facilier."

"Could you take us to Mama Odie, Louis?" asked Lana.

Louis gasped. "Through the deepest, darkest part of the bayou? Facing razor-sharp pricker bushes and trappers and hunters...WITH GUNS?! No."

Lynn frowned as he sat by a tree, playing his trumpet. "Lynn Loud does not take 'no' for an answer."

She cracked her knuckles again as she was about to approach him, only to be whacked by Tiana, who asked. "Is that your answer to everything, Lynn? Forced violence?"

"That's always her answer to everything." I explained.

"Well, I don't see you coming up with any ideas, Stinkin'!" snapped Lynn.

I groaned at being referred to said name. "When are you going to stop calling me that?"

"Never!" said Lynn. "In fact, when we get home, we're going to change your name...permanently!"

"Can we just go already?" asked Lola. "I'm tired of being in this moss-induced land."

"Actually, Lola, there is no moss in this part of the bayou." explained Lisa.

"Who cares! I just want to be human again." complained Lola.

"We all want to be human again!" reminded Lori.

As we started arguing with one another, Naveen stepped in, saying. "Everyone, please! Enough! This will get us nowhere if your constant bickering continues throughout the day."

"Frog prince has a point, dudes." said Luna.

"Then, how do you propose we get this coward of a gator to take us to whom we hope to find?" asked Lisa, whom Naveen smiled smugly, replying. "Watch and learn."

He calmly walked over to the tree where Louis was playing his trumpet. "Louis, it is too bad we can't help you with your dream. If only you were smaller, less...toothy, you could play jazz to adoring crowds without scaring them."

Louis stopped playing when he heard what Naveen was saying.

"Anyway, enjoy your loneliness, my friend. Abinaza." Naveen said as he walked back to us.

"Cute, but how's that gonna..." Tiana started to ask before Naveen stopped her, pointing at Louis, who had tapped on him, asking. "So if what you're saying is true, you think Mama Odie can make a human too?"

"Well, with a talent like yours, I see no reason why she can't." replied Naveen.

"Then, all aboard the Louis Express!" Louis said as he lowered himself to let us onto his back.

"Cool! I always wanted to ride on a gator." said Lana.

"There's something wrong with you." said Lola.

"This calls for some traveling music!" exclaimed Luna.

"Oh, ho, I'm way ahead of ya, sister." Louis said as he blew on his trumpet while taking us through the bayou.

Louis: If I were a human being,
I'd head straight for New Orleans
And I'd blow this horn so hard and strong
Like no one they've ever seen

You've heard of Louis Armstrong,
Mr. Sidney Bechet?
All those boys gonna step aside
When they hear this old ex-gator play,
Listen...

"Yeah!" Naveen cheered, playing the ukulele twig while listening to Louis's trumpet solo.

"Blow that trumpet!" cheered Luna.

"No, no, no, no, no, no, no!" Lola called when she saw that Louis was about to dive into the water, which he did.

Louis: When I'm human

Lincoln, Lana, Lola, Lisa, and Lily: As we hope to be

Louis: I'm gonna blow this horn
'Til the cows come home
And everyone's gonna bow down to me

"Thank you, thank you." Louis said, blowing kisses as we clapped for him. "Oh, thank you. I love you, too, baby."

He resumed playing his trumpet while Naveen started to sing along.

Naveen: When I'm myself again,
I want just the life I had
A great big party every night
That doesn't sound too bad

A redhead on my left arm
A brunette on my right
A blonde or two to hold the candles
Now that seems just about right
You getting this?

Life is short
When you're done, you're done
We're on this earth
to have some fun
And that's the way things are

Luna: Tell it, dude!

Naveen: When I'm human

Lori, Leni, Luna, Luan, and Lynn: And we're gonna be

Naveen: I'm gonna tear it up like I did before
And that's a royal guarantee

"Need I remind you you're getting married!" reminded Lisa, who shooed away a bunch of lovely-looking butterflies, who were fluttering over Naveen, who sighed reluctantly. "Oh, you're right. I'll just have to leave a string of broken hearts behind me!"

Tiana took the ukulele twig from Naveen, only to have it taken by Luna, who took her turn strumming while Tiana took hers, singing while giving Lana the rowing stick to steer Louis through the tree trunks.

Tiana: Your modesty becomes you
And your sense of responsibility
I've worked hard for everything I've got
And that's the way it's supposed to be

When I'm a human being,
At least I'll act like one
If you do your best each and every day,
Good things are sure to come your way

What you give is what you get
My daddy said that
And I'll never forget
And I recommend it to you

Louds, Louis, Tiana and Naveen: When we're human
And we're gonna be

Louis: I'm gonna blow my horn
Naveen: I'm gonna live the high life
Tiana: I'm gonna do my best
To take my place in the sun

Louds: When we're human
And we're gonna be...

Louis, Tiana and Naveen: When we're...

Louds, Louis, Tiana and Naveen: Human
