"Lincoln get down from there." Mallow said
she had come over to cook for Lincoln so he could get some rest and she was about to cut a cucumber when he walked in and got spooked by it before jumping on top of the fridge
"No!" Lincoln said
"what's up?" Wes asked as he walked in only to get spooked as well and joined his father on the fridge
"oh dear..." mallow said

Lincoln was trying to relax when he noticed a little red dot
instinctively he immediately tried to grab it and it moved so he gave chase
"I can't believe that works." Lana said from behind a bush
"I know right!" Sophocles said
"so uh what are you talking about?" Lincoln asked
"oh we're talking about-" Lana said before realizing it was Lincoln "oh."
"I'm going to give you a five minute head start." Lincoln said
they ran as fast as they could

Lincoln was sitting at home talking to ash and mallow when a portal opened up under him causing him to fall through
five minutes later he was back a bit injured
"what happened?!?" Ash asked
"oh nothing just got beat up by an alternate version of who has a cane that makes his voice sound like a radio and is feral." Lincoln said "maybe some water will help me out."
suddenly his water burst into flames
"ah I see." Lincoln said
later
Lincoln had hit his head 3 different times walking through the house
"man this sucks." Lincoln said to himself "maybe ash and mallow should Just break up with me so they don't have to deal with me."
suddenly ash and mallow ran in and hug tackled him
"don't you ever talk bad about yourself!" Ash said
"we don't care about how you look we love you regardless!" Mallow said
Lincoln began to purr at that
the next day
"Lincoln come on we got to go to school!" Mallow said outside of Lincoln's house
"yeah!" Ash said
then mewtwo opened the door
"could you get him out of his room please?" Ash asked
"I was going to ask you the same thing." Mewtwo said as he let them in
"any idea what's up?" Ash asked
"not a clue." Mewtwo said "the only people he lets in are the kids and they haven't left yet."
ash knocked on Lincoln's door "Lincoln it's ash and mallow!"
the door was opened with psychic energy
and laying on the bed was Lincoln laying down like a cat with all of the kids (minus solgaleo and lunala who ash and mallow had.) were laying next to him including a baby palkia
"oh I see-" mallow said as the door slammed behind them as Lincoln gestured to them to lay down next to him
"welp this is our life now." Ash said
eventually they were able to get Lincoln out though he carried the baby palkia by the scruff the whole time
once they got to the Pokémon school lincoln laid down in the corner of the room
"so he's been acting like a cat Pokemon?" Z asked having been repaired
"yup it's been nuts." Mallow said
"well once he gets some therapy for the whole dying thing everything should be ok right?" Lana asked
"I'm afraid that it's not that easy." Wes said "apparently mews and by extension mewtwos have a way to have young asexually one of the requirements is a healthy mental state so if he's fully mentally healthy the behaviour could just get worse."
"wait then how does he-" rotom asked before Wes answered his question
"mitosis or as I like to call it mewtosis." Wes said
"wow ok." Ash said "and plus it's not only that, he accidentally created a portal and fought an alternate version of him."
"yea and he thinks he's a monster when he's not!" Mallow said "that's the worst part about it he thinks that we should just leave him behind."
"wow Lincoln has it rough." Sophocles said before remembering something "guys? What are we going to tell his family?"
that got everyone's attention Lincoln's included
"oh...oh no." Mallow said
"Lori was stupid enough to almost kill him what if she tries to hurt ash and mallow!? That's going to get her killed!" Wally said
"is that really a bad thing?" Z asked still mad that he got hacked
"yes!" Wally said "you know what let's calm down and talk about something else."
everyone was silent for a minute before ash said "professor kukui is getting married to professor burnet."
"wonderful!" The girls said
Sophocles was stammering
"Sophocles calm down." Kiawe said "so ash did they say when they're going to have the ceremony?"
the girls got all giddy at that...
only for ash to shoot them down with
"the professor said they weren't going to have a ceremony." Ash said
"what a disappointment." The girls said
"they won't make their vows to wela's fire?" Kiawe asked
"what do you mean by that?" Ash asked
"people make vows to the fire when the get married on akala island?" Sophocles asked
"I thought that's something everyone did." Kiawe said "maybe it's just my family."
"I know! Let's give them a present something from all of us!" Mallow said
"like throwing a surprise wedding for them!" Lillie suggested
"that would be some surprise!" Lana said
"great idea!" Sophocles said
"I'm in!" kiawe said
"Lincoln you want in?" Ash asked
at that point Lincoln finally snapped out of his over protective state
"yea I'm in." Lincoln said cracking his neck still not used to laying like a cat "this can't be too much of a disaster right?"
the next day
the wedding actually went alright
sure hiding it was an issue but they pulled through
however near the end lusamine pulled them aside to talk
"IM SO VERY VERY SORRY!" Faba said
immediately Lincoln readied his new claws to tear faba apart but was held back by ash and mallow
"let me at him!" Lincoln said
"I've decided that faba is going to have a fresh start so he'll work under wicke." Lusamine said
"considering the horrendous things I have done to miss Lillie and young master gladion this is truly a lenient punishment." Faba said
"you got that right!" Lincoln said still trying to claw at faba's face
"hey ash? everyone? there's something we would like to ask you to do." Lusamine said
"huh?" The group said
"the next Time an ultra beast appears we would like to ask all of you for your help." Lusamine said
"for our help?" Lillie asked
"you are some of the few to travel to the other side of the ultra worm hole and have seen nihilego." Lusamine said
"nigilego?" Rotom questioned
"right we decided to give the ultra beast a name it just seemed much more convenient." Wicke said
"data updated!" Rotom said
"faba would you mind showing them the materials on the ultra guardians?" Wicke asked
"Yes chief!" Faba said before pulling out a tablet "please have a look."
"what in the world are ultra guardians?" Everyone asked
"we want you to become members of the ultra guardians we hope as members of the ultra guardians you help us capture the ultra beasts when they appear." Lusamine explained
"I don't understand why would you capture them?" Kiawe asked
"ultra wormholes are much more likely to open in the alola region at this time still with all the ultra beasts that have been spotted we think some of them simply wandered to the alola region by accident." Lusamine explained
"and if that's the case we need to return them to their world we concluded that's the best thing to do." Wicke said "there for would like your help with this mission."
"will you?" Lusamine asked
everyone agreed
later that evening
"god this hard." Lincoln said after hitting his head against the door frame again
"hey you'll get used to it." Ash said as pikachu put some tea down in front of Lincoln
Lincoln took a sip and few seconds later his pupils dilated
"uh Lincoln you ok?" Ash asked
"this tea tastes like colours." Lincoln said
"please tell me you didn't put pokenip in that tea." Ash said to pikachu
pikachu shrugged
ash sighed knowing that he would have to deal with a high Lincoln for a while
