Yang walked the halls of the studio feeling a little better after the shock of Rooster teeth's closure. She currently had mail in her hand one of which was a large yellow envelope addressed to clay. She approached his office and was surprised to see Tavish Degroot, the RED Demoman, there.

"Hey shrapnel what's up?" she asked the mercenary, calling him by clay's nickname for him. "The lad's holed himself up in his office. I swear I heard crying in there a wee bit ago." The dark-skinned Scotsman said worried.

Gaining a worried look, yang knocked on the door. "Yeah, what is it?" came the man's voice. "It's yang with shrapnel, can we come in?" no response. "Clay? You can tell me what's on your mi-." Yang didn't get to finish her sentence as the door opened.

"Come on in." the usually cheerful man yang knew said in a sad tone. "Forgive me for holing up here." clay said. "But I needed time to myself." Tavish frowned. "Why lad?" he asked. Clay sighed. "Not too long ago I learned that one of my family members is extremely sick."

This took the two by surprise. "they'll get better right?" Yang asked. Clay bowed his head as tears threatened to fall. He shook his head. "There's no cure to it yang. He has cancer in the kidneys." Yang covered her mouth with her free hand in shock while shrapnel's single eye widened. "Bloody hell." The Scotsman muttered.

Setting the mail down, yang embraced clay. "I'm sorry." She said, a single tear fell down her face. Tavish placed a hand on one of Clay's shoulders. "We're here if ya need us lad." Clay nodded before seeing the mail. "this for me?" he asked.

"Yeah, but the large envelope folder's weird. It doesn't have a return address, but it has a sticker as to who sent it." Yang said.

(Clay POV)

I frowned at what yang said. 'No return address, then that would mean,' I thought before seeing the sticker. "Ah fuck." I cursed. "What is it?" Yang asked. "Playtime Co." I said before thinking. 'Why me?' yang and Tavish looked at each other with an expression of horror and shock. They both knew about Playtime Co. and its history. "Why would someone send you of all people THAT letter." Yang asked, eyes red. "We all know that you won't be able to use the pack." I frowned.

"it's different." I said catching the raging blonde off-guard. "Pardon lad?" Tavish asked. "It says 'we need your help. Find the flower'. I think… this is a different situation than the game." I said.

"Maybe it's because you were never an employee." Yang said sharing a look with Tavish. "What now lad?" the dark-skinned Scotsman asked.

I gave them a serious expression. "As much as hate to do this, it's something to take my mind off of what I just learned.

LATER

"Thank you for assembling on such a short notice. Fantastic performance on chapter five of the GATE fanfic guys." I said while the cast of GATE got some cheers from the other characters. "Now, I received a letter that… deserves my full attention. This doesn't affect the chapter production as we've been at this for a while. You all can produce the chapters without me." everyone nodded.

"So, what's this thing that deserves your full attention?" Rory asked. I took a sharp inhale. "Playtime Co." I said. while this confused her, Itami, Shino, and a few others. The rest of those resent (save for Shrapnel, and Yang) were in an uproar.

"I know. I know. I won't be able to operate the grabber which is why I'll be taking at least three of you with me." I said. "I volunteer." Tavish said. I nod. "BLU Demoman." Said person perked up. "You'll have to fill in for Tavish while we're gone in the new tf2 crossover ok?" BLU Demoman nodded. "that also means wearing a red outfit."

"the ones I won't accept are any members of team RWBY, the alliance members, the sentry girls, and Raphtalia." I said before Yang spoke up. "Bullshit." I sighed. "Yang, your story Mama Yang: FOR is up next on the writing block after the second TF2 story. If we'd have already done it."

Yang gave him a deadpan stare. "Doesn't yin still live here?" she asked. As if on cue, Yang's twin came in and opened the fridge. "She can take my place until I get back." Yin banged her head against one of the levels in the fridge.

"Ow, I can do what now?" she asked rubbing the back of her head. 'Yang isn't exactly wrong. In Operation Remnant I have Yin act like an actual clone of yang.' I sighed. "Yin, can you fill in for yang for the next few chapters of Mama Yang: Flames of Remnant?" Yin blinked. "Fill in as in play her instead visions of the alternate version of her?" she asked.

I nodded. Yin shrugged. "Why not?" Yang smiled at her twin. "That's two. Anyone else?" I asked. Rory stood up. "Assuming that it'll be a while before chapter 6 of the GATE fanfic is on the writing block… I'll bite."

I nod. "Alright then. Those coming with me… lock and load." Yang and Tavish nodded while Rory rested her halberd on her shoulder.

I strap a holster to my left hip and place a m1911 in it before putting a bulletproof combat vest on afterwards, I put on a trench coat. I hooked an Uzi to the front of the vest.

Yang loaded Ember Celica. Before she could put her bomber jacket on, yang noticed two desert eagles and a combat harness on a nearby table. 'Clay always said to have a backup weapon.' The blonde thought before setting the jacket down and grabbing the harness

Tavish took stock of the gear in front of him.. smirking, he went with the heavy loadout. After placing both the juggernaut jacket and hurt locher on, he grabbed multiple grenades, two Ullapool caper grenades, his normal grenade launcher, a sticky bomb launcher nicknamed The Scottish Resistance.

He sheathed his sword, the Eyelander, before grabbing another grenade launcher called The Loose Cannon. He also placed an Uber canteen next to the capers To top his uniform off, Tavish placed the Scotch Bonnet, a riot gear helmet, on his head before lighting a cigar.

We regroup as everyone gathers to see us off. I whistle as Tavish's appearance. "Impressive Shrapnel." I said. the RED Demoman smiled at the praise. "thanks lad." That's when I got an idea. "Oi BLU Demo." I called out. "Aye?" he asked. "I'd like you to appear as this in the story but keep your iron bomber launcher okay?" I asked gesturing to Tavish. The BLU Demoman gave a thumbs up.

"Here Clay, you're going to need more than just that handgun and Uzi." RED scout said handing me a scattergun. I gave him a questioning look. "Don't worry. I got plenty of backups." I nod as Summer approached me.

"Clay bring yang back will you?" she asked "Don't worry summer I will." I said. "I'll drive ya there," the RED sniper, Mundy, said. "But that's it."

"This ought to be interesting." Rory said making everyone look at her as I primed the scattergun. "What Rory?" Petra asked. "The writer in actual combat. From what I heard from the older residents of the studio, aside from the stories that he's a part of, or rather the characters he portrays that is, Clay's mostly a pacifist."

Petra blinked before looking at the man that offered her a place to live after her role in Attack on Titan was done. "I'm coming with Clay." She said catching his attention. "you'll need someone to operate that harness you spoke of. And since Yang technically is still armed even if she loses her handguns, she can't exactly fight and operate it at the same time. Plus, I never really like heavy caliber weapons." Petra said unholstering her luger. "I want to pay you back." Sighing, I nodded.

"Let's go then team." I said. with that Tavish, Yang, Rory, Petra, and I followed Mundy to his camper. Whoever was calling for help have better pray that they weren't doing this as a prank. If it was a prank, then there'd be hell to pay."

PLAYTIME MYSTERY

STARRING

CLAY342 AS HIMSELF

YANG XIAO LONG

TAVISH DEGROOT AKA RED DEMOMAN

RORY MERCURY

AND

POPPY PLAYTIME

A/N: thus begins my first poppy playtime fanfic. Now this is set in the studio-verse. The studio-verse is basically what I'm calling the behind-the-scenes stories. I will still be writing the normal stories on the writing block, that won't change, but it WILL affect posting schedule for the Gate fanfic as Rory is with me on this adventure. Since Yin exists in the studio-verse, Mama Yang: Flames of Remnant will still continue as planned.

Lastly…. If you haven't figured out by the first six paragraphs, I recently learned that a family member of mine was diagnosed with cancer once again. This time… there's no cure. As a result, my story self will have trouble dealing with the revelation as a whole.

This story is dedicated to him

Out of respect… if you decide to flame this story please don't. not for me, but for who the story's dedicated to.

As always read and review.
