Mount Justice
'Recognized Supergirl B-0-7' Supergirl came through the Zeta tube to see Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman all standing in the middle of the ring.
"You wanted to see me?" Supergirl asked.
"Yes." Batman nodded.
"We have concerns Kara." Superman said.
"In regards to the incident at Themyscira, we've discussed our options." Wonder Woman explained to Kara.
Kara now knew what this was all about. "I'm sorry, I promise it won't happen again."
Batman shook his head. "We don't believe that Kara, your powers are dangerous, and if you can't control them, we can't risk another incident."
"But…Trevor said it was okay, and he holds no ill will." Kara said.
"It is not okay, regardless of intent or not you injured a Team member and that is unacceptable." Batman scolded with his unchanging glare.
"So what happens now?" Kara braced for whatever punishment.
"We're sorry Kara but until you can learn to better control your powers you need to be removed from the team. As of right now, you are off the team." Superman dealt the fatal words, and the shock struck her spine like a cold knife.
Kara held herself from collapsing and just cleared her head, "Very well, I'll pack my things and I'll see myself home." Kara left for her room.
Just then the rest of the team arrived via zeta tube.
"Kara?" Connor noticed his cousin wasn't looking good.
"What's going on here?" Aqualad asked.
"Oh no." Trevor whispered, fearing the incident had been discussed.
Kara then started leaking tears. "I've been kicked off the team."
"WHAT!?" Conner shouted.
Wonder Woman stepped up. "On Themyscira Kara lost control of her powers and injured Trevor, she could've killed him. We cannot have someone who can't have someone who can't control their powers on this team. I know many of you will not agree with this but this is the best option for the team."
The entire team save for a few then began yelling protests consisting of Artemis, Kid Flash, Miss Martian, and Superboy perhaps the loudest.
"ENOUGH!" Aqualad yelled silencing the team. "The Justice League is correct."
"What?! You're taking their side, Kara is a member of our team, and we should have a say whether she is removed or not." Artemis responded then turned to Trevor. "Come on Trevor back me up say something."
"I can't because I agree." Trevor said in spite of how much it hurt to say. He couldn't look at them, he just kept his eyes on the ground. "Kara may be my best friend but what happened was too close of a call, if this happens again she may kill someone and we can't have that." It was a hard pill to swallow but he had to.
"How can you agree with them?!" Kid Flash spat.
"Because they're right, don't try to pretend they're not." Robin spoke up.
Trevor avoided eye contact and just kept quiet. So many thoughts racing through his head, he couldn't say any more lest he wants to just lose his entire demeanor.
"Well Wonder Boy, say something!" Wally yelled.
"Wally! I know this is a hard decision, but need I remind you that is my son!" Wonder Woman growled.
Trevor just kept still and quiet until he saw an opening for the recreational room and quietly walked away from the room.
After the tension has settled, the team and the members of the League resumed tidying up the fortress. Robin, Artemis, Miss Martian, and Kid Flash settled at the tables with Green Arrow offering the four a bowl of pretzels.
"Thanks but no thanks." Kid Flash declined.
"Yeah, what we want are answers. About Red Tornado and his siblings." Robin replied to Green Arrow.
Trevor has been quiet all day, keeping his distance to process the day so far.
Connor noticed Aqualad and Batman talking, using his hearing he eavesdropped on the talk, "It was during the TaiPei mission with Red Arrow. Sportsmaster revealed the possibility of a mole within the team. In light of last night's attack, Tornado would appear to be the traitor. But whether he betrayed us willingly or was he pre-programmed is still-"
The news sent a jolt of rage in Connor's fists, "You knew!"
Connor angrily grabbed Kaldur, "That android and his maniac family nearly killed M'Gann!"
M'gann then flew in to stop Connor from hurting Kaldur. "Connor, what are you doing?"
"Kaldur knew we had a traitor among us and said nothing." Connor angrily said
"You knew?" Robin responded.
"And didn't tell us?" Kid Flash stepped in.
"Guys come on shouldn't we let Aqualad explain himself?" Wonder Boy asked.
"I sought to protect the team from-" Kaldur was interrupted by Artemis.
"Protect us from what? Knowledge that might've saved our lives?" Artemis demanded.
"Guy's come on-" Wonder Boy attempted to calm the mood.
"You almost died!" Connor looked at M'Gann
"Enough!" Batman glared, and Connor let him go.
"I said it before I'll say it again, Red Tornado is a member of the League therefore he is our priority. Starting today the team will now be overseen by rotating supervisors. Captain Marvel has volunteered to take the first shift." Batman said introducing Captain Marvel to the team.
"I'm really looking forward to hanging with you guys." Captain Marvel smiled.
"Great another babysitter." Wonder Boy murmured.
"Do you have a problem Wonder Boy?" Batman asked.
"I have a lot of problems Batman, and I'm doing my best to keep my head straight." Trevor's hands shook, Batman noticed, and kept it brief, "I have another assignment for this team."
Batman pointed to an article that appeared as a holographic projection "Gotham Mayor attacked by Guerilla Gorilla?" Kid Flash cited.
"Was this the only thing he could find to distract us?" Connor asked M'gann mentally.
"First you kick Supergirl off the team without our consent now you're sending us on a stupid gorilla chase. Are you joking?!" Wonder Boy asked.
"I never joke about the mission." Batman responded. "I've checked the sources. I've studied the patterns. Mayor Hill's encounter is only the latest in a series of incidents. Aqulad you and your team will depart for India and check this out."
The team then departed for the Bioship.
"Hmph your team."
"Shut up Wally." Wonder Boy said.
Aqualad sighed. "At least you still trust me."
"I don't but you haven't let us down before if you were lying I'm hoping there are good reasons." Wonder Boy said then followed the others.
As the team left for the Bioship the sphere wanted to come too but Superboy raised his arm up.
"Uh-uh go." Superboy ordered.
The sphere complied and rolled off.
As most of the team was loaded up on the bioship Captain Marvel arrived. "You're coming with?"
"Yeah we'll have a blast." Captain Marvel gave a thumbs up.
"Translation, he blames us for Red Fiasco." Robin sneered. "Doesn't trust us.
Just then Aqualad arrived with Wonder Boy.
"It's a big club." Kid Flash said then he and Robin walked aboard.
Trevor was the last to hop aboard, he took a deep breath and turned to see Kara with all of her things. She gave Trevor a wave goodbye, and he returned the wave. With the team loaded they flew for India.
Before Kara could leave through the Zeta Tubes, she was stopped by the Sphere. He emitted low beeps, implying his feelings on her leaving, "It's okay I'll be back." Kara patted the Sphere.
The sphere beeped and then rolled away. With that, Kara departed in the Zeta tube. 'Recognized Supergirl B-0-7.'
Meanwhile back on the Bioshop while everyone sat in the cockpit Trevor sat in the cargo hold. Trevor had some time to himself. Everything that's happened, losing Supergirl from the team, and now the revelation of a mole among his peers. This is becoming too much, and he just slammed his fist in the wall rendering a small jolt in the ship's flight.
"Hey! Wonder Brat, we're in a ship, remember!" Kid Flash yelled from the cockpit.
"Call me Wonder Brat again and I will rip out your tongue, shove it down your face and WATCH YOU CHOKE ON IT!" Wonder Boy gasped as soon as those words left his mouth He never threatened someone like that before it was kinda scary that he just said that. "I-I'm sorry, M'Gann, can this ship give me some privacy?"
"You got it, Trevor." M'Gann had the ship morph a small barrier between him and the rest of the team.
"Poor Trevor, I never seen him like this." M'Gann told to Artemis via telepathy.
"Yeah, everyone's on edge, It's like life smacked all of us with something heavy." Artemis responded.
Back in the Cargo hold Trevor pulled out his cellphone and dialed his Dad's phone number.
"Hey kiddo, what's happening?" Steven answered.
"Dad… are- are you busy?" Trevor stuttered.
"Yeah, but I always make time for you, what's happening?"
"Kara got kicked off the team."
"What? Why?"
Trevor felt like he couldn't answer that without feeling like something heavy is trying to climb out of his throat. He breathed it back down not without a tear leaving his eye, "She ugh… She, she burnt my hands when we were on Themyscira. They said she can't remain on the team if she can't control her powers."
"Oh no, son I'm so sorry." Steve felt his son's pain.
"Mom was there, she voted to have it happen, and now we're on a mission, and with all of this floating around it's too much to handle." Trevor dumped as much as he could spill without spilling any serious details.
"Son, take a deep breath." Steve instructed his son.
"Deep slow breaths." Trevor responded.
"You said you're on a mission? Remember what I taught you on your first day fighting with Mom? You were so nervous and hesitated on everything just before you two left." Steve explained to his son.
"Hesitation is how you lose. Work the problem, and respond. Keep all distractions quiet while the mission is underway." Trevor repeated his father's exact same words.
"Whatever 's happening son, you're gonna nail this mission like you did when you fought beside your mom."
After everything they've been through when Diana isn't the one to help, Trevor has his father, "Thanks Dad. You're the best."
"That's why I'm here, son." Steve had a swell of pride.
"Love you dad."
"Love you too!"
They hung up and Steve was still floating with a smile, "Best call ever!"
Back with the team, Trevor was feeling better. At least until he can finish the mission, "M'Gann, I'm ready to come out, can you remove my privacy bubble?" Trevor asked via telepathy.
"Sure thing Trevor." M'Ganna responded, and Trevor was released and took his seat.
"You okay, Trevor?" M'Gann asked out loud.
"I'm fine, I just needed to make a phone call." Trevor answered, "Sorry KF." He looked at Wally.
"Hey Trevor right?" Captain Marvel asked.
"Yeah, what's up?" Trevor answered.
"Can I call you Trev?" Captain Marvel asked.
"Depends, can I call you Shazam?" Trevor asked.
"Heck yeah!"
"Alright then, Shazam." Trevor was starting to light up a little.
"You know I think you and me are very similar." Shazam said.
"How so?" Trevor asked.
"Oh you know our powers were given to us by gods, we're both devilishly very handsome and we use our powers to help others." Shazam smiled.
"Umm… you got one thing wrong, I'm a god, my powers weren't given to me by gods." Trevor corrected, "And I'm afraid to say it but I'm the handsome one between the two of us." Trevor chuckled.
"Oh you both'd lose that bet if I were included." Kid Flash added.
"Is that right?" Shazam looked at Kid Flash, "This is coming from a speedster who can't run as fast as Flash? Yeah I read the reports."
"Oooh BURN!" Trevor laughed, "Need some aloe vera, Wally?"
M'Gann chuckled a little at their bickering.
Northern India
The first two to drop from the Bioship were Robin and Artemis. The ship entered stealth mode while the rest of the team dispatched from the ship.
"All clear." Robin called as the team hopped out.
"Switch to stealth, and we'll review mission parameters." Aqualad said as he switched to black.
Followed by M'Gann, the rest were still uneasy still after everything.
"Parameters? We don't need no stinkin' parameters." Kid Flash said as he swapped to Black.
"It's recon. We know what to do." Robin added as he and Kid Flash left.
"Kid, Robin…" Aqualad was taken aback by them leaving.
"We need to stick together." Wonder Boy backed Aqualad, switching to dark urban camo.
"Are you serious, Trevor?" Kid Flash pointed at Wonder Boy.
"The five of us started this team because the Justice League was keeping secrets from us." Robin added.
"Or did you forget that like you forgot to tell us about the mole?" Kid Flash said as he placed his goggles around his eyes. The two left without so much as a second thought.
"C'mon I'll keep you safe." Connor took M'Gann's arm, but she snatched it away.
"You're my boyfriend Connor, not my keeper." She said through telepathy, "Stop behaving like a character from a seventies sitcom."
"I just wanna protect you." Connor responded.
Artemis then stepped up. "Like Aqualad protected us? I'm not sure your protection or your patronizing is good for our health."
"Artemis back off he's just trying to help." Wonder Boy argued.
"This is coming from a boy who's backing our so-called leader?" Artemis yelled at Wonder Boy.
"Aqualad is our leader, I don't like that he lied to us any more than you do but we're on a mission, and our priority needs to be our focus." Wonder Boy argued.
"Whatever." Artemis and Miss Martian went off on their own.
"Why didn't you stop them? You're supposed to be in charge." Connor yelled at Aqulad.
"I am…"
Superboy just waved them off and went on his own leaving Aqualad with Shazam and Wonder Boy.
"Wow, everyone's really mad at you." Wonder Boy said.
"Are you going to at least stick with us?" Aqualad asked.
"Yeah, so do you have a plan?" Wonder Boy asked.
Aqualad sighed and said. "Follow."
Aqualad walked into the forest with Captain Marvel and Wonder Boy following behind.
"So I don't know if I missed it, but is there a plan to this mission?" Shazam asked.
"No, we're facing a problem on the inside at the moment." Wonder Boy explained vaguely.
Kent Farm
At the Kent farm, it was dinner time and the Kents sat down for a good dinner everyone chowed down save for one.
"Kara, you need to eat." Jonathan pointed out.
Kara responded by pushing the plate away. "I'm not hungry."
"Kara, you haven't touched your dinner, what's going on?" Martha asked.
"It's about today. The team, the Justice League decided I was a liability to the team and kicked me off of it." Kara explained.
"Oh dear." Jonathan patted Kara's shoulder.
"I'm sorry sweetheart." Martha comforted.
"What about your cousin? Connor is what he calls himself now?" Jonathan said.
"Well he wasn't happy with the decision, but at least I still have some of them wanting me back." Kara assured.
"What about that boy, Trevor?" Martha asked.
"Actually he agreed to have me removed from the team, and I don't blame him. Hopefully, things will be good." Kara looked a little hopeful.
"What was so bad that they kicked you off the team for?"
"I couldn't control my powers and I burned Trevor." Kara started easing up.
"Well, sounds like someone needs some target practice tomorrow morning." Jonathan suggested.
"What?" Kara was taken aback.
"C'mon Kara, who do you think taught Clark how to aim when he was your age?" Jonathan assured.
"Really?" Kara smiled. "Thanks but you know I can't use heat vision at will."
"Neither could Clark, don't worry. We'll get you back in the team in no time." Jonathan was confident.
This whole idea brought Kara to shock, to think Superman had the same problems with his heat vision, "Okay, we start tomorrow!" Kara was starting to sound like her confident self again.
"That's our girl, now with that in mind, are you able to eat now? You'll need your strength tomorrow, after all."
Supergirl rolled her eyes and nodded and brought her plate back to her side.
Northern India
Aqualad and Wonder Boy walked lightly across the jungle, while Captain Marvel flew from above.
"Guess this is where Mayor Hills' monkey business went down." Captain Marvel said looking down at the gorilla footprints and bullet shells. "So at least we've confirmed his story right?" Aqualad was not listening, "Aqualad?"
"My apologies captain. I am plagued by doubts." Aqualad confessed.
"It's not just you." Trevor added.
Aqualad was glad at least one of the team stuck with him, "I'm sorry about Kara, she'll be back on the team sooner than you know."
"I hope so because missions tend to be no fun for me without her." Trevor chuckled a little. In spite of the seeds of doubt around the team, it was nice to have a little optimism.
"Perhaps I was wrong to withhold the information of the mole." Aqualad admitted.
"Aqualad you did what you thought was right, don't fault yourself for that. I agree with the others about withholding the info but I'm hoping you had a good reason. You haven't let us down as a leader yet and I hope you won't now." Wonder Boy said.
"Thank you, Wonder Boy." Aqualad had a moment of relief from Trevor's loyalty.
"You don't believe Kara's the mole?" Wonder Boy asked.
"No, you've spent time with her most, have you noticed anything astray around her?" Aqualad asked.
"No, she has a hard time controlling her powers but she's no mole." Wonder Boy said with no doubt.
"Good, at least-" Aqualad was immediately interrupted by a quaking rumble with snapping trees following the three.
A giant elephant bigger than any ever seen roared and charged straight for the group.
Shazam was the first to strike, he flew straight for the elephant's face. He kept the oversized beast at bay, but his trunk had more reach, and used it to throw Shazam out into the brush.
Just then another giant elephant came out of the brush and charged at both Aqualad and Wonder Boy. Shazam got back up to see a tiger charging at him.
Wonder Boy made an attempt to punch the second elephant but was swatted away like a fly with a swatter. Wonderboy crashed face-first onto the ground groaning in pain. "Ow, that really hurt."
Aqualad jumped out of the way from the first elephant, but the second one got to him and smacked him to land on Wonder Boy.
"That hurt even more, now get off." Wonder Boy groaned.
They both looked up to see Shazam fighting above and were struck by their trunks again, but on the contrary, they found a potential weakness, "Aqualad, look!" Wonder Boy pointed at the collars. He tried getting up but both landings from him to the ground and Aqualad to his back had him in a brief fit of pain.
"Stay put." Aqualad ordered. He pulled out his water bearers and formed them into bladed whips.
Aqualad jumped up from beneath the elephant. Using his water bearers he wrapped the water around the collar and sliced it off. The elephant looked at Aqualad and just ignored him and went on his merry way.
Aqualad looked at Shazam still fighting the second elephant, "Remove the Collar!"
"On it." Shazam said.
He flew toward the creator avoiding its snout then punched the collar clean off its neck. With the collar removed the elephant turned neutral and followed behind its friend.
"Pretty sweet the way Wonder Boy figured out the problem was the collars." Shazam said.
"But the collars indicate an intelligence behind this attack. The rest of the team may also be at risk." Aqualad explained as he went to check on Trevor. "Wonder Boy are you okay?"
"Yeah, I should be-" Trevor was interrupted by Shazam walking up.
"Here let me." Shazam took Wonder Boy and lifted him up till his back popped, loudly.
"Ok now I should be fine, what was that?" Trevor asked.
"I just straightened out your back. You should be good now." Shazam said with a smile.
"Oh man, that felt great!" Wonder Boy was astounded by how he felt. Like a whole new spine was relieved of lots of tension, "Remind me to buy you a burger after this."
"Can you make it a Big Belly Burger?" Shazam requested from that fast food chain.
"Heck yeah!" Wonder Boy loved that place too it seems.
"Team, report status." Aqualad called the rest of the team but received only static. "Ugh, com is jammed. And Miss Martian failed to establish a telepathic link before we split up.
"Actually, you let everyone split up before communications were set." Shazam corrected.
"They would not listen!" Aqualad excused his mistake.
"Aqualad, that's not really a good excuse." Wonder Boy said.
"I guess, but back at the cave, Batman stopped everyone from arguing with one word."
"Because Batman is… Batman."
"He definitely has that scary glare in his presence." Wonder Boy admitted, "That same look kept me from speaking out on Kara's defense."
"Hey you two don't have to tell me. When I first joined the League, all he did was boss me around. And it's hard not to take it personally. But… I never disobeyed an order, and that's probably what kept me alive." Shazam looked at Wonder Boy, "And that's what probably kept Supergirl alive."
Wonder Boy let Captain Marvel's words sink into his mind, "Thanks Shazam, that makes sense."
"Batman takes command. He has to… For the L good of the League." Aqualad realized, "Thank you for helping me understand."
"Hey, Wisdom of Solomon." Shazam pointed to his head.
Just then the three receive a psychic link from Miss Martian. "Aqualad can you hear me?"
"Yes Miss Martian. Report."
"Artemis and I were attacked by animals wearing Inhibitor collars like those used on convicts at Belrad prison."
As Aqualad talked with Miss Martian Shazam noticed the tiger from earlier hiding in the tall grass, "Cool, the tiger! I'll be right back!" Shazam said then flew away
"Captain wait!" Aqualad tried to stop him but his words fell on deaf ears, "Of course, Speed of Mercury."
Wonder Boy rolled his eyes. "Don't worry I'll go after him."
"Wonder Boy no!" Once again Aqualads words fell on deaf ears as Wonder Boy took off without looking back. Aqualad let out a sigh bringing his hands up to his head. "Remember Aqualad Trevor may be wise but he's still a kid."
Captain Marvel and Wonder Boy flew after the tiger, as they did Wonder Boy remained on constant alert "Shazam wait this isn't a good idea." Wonder Boy said as he flew after him as he chased after the tiger.
"It's okay kid, I'll make this quick." Shazam waved off Wonder Boy.
The tiger then came to a stop turning in their direction. It stared at them growling furiously.
"Hey there, mister. Bet you'd like good old cap to take that nasty collar off ya, huh?" Shazam asked.
"Stop talking and get the collar off already something isn't right here." Wonder Boy said looking around and feeling uneasy.
"OK, OK. I'll do it." Shazam landed in front of the Tiger and prepared to remove the inhibitor collar but before he could remove the device, strange antennas sprouted up surrounded him, and activated emitting a strange field that made Shazam fall to the ground.
"Oh no." Wonder Boy flew down to help but before he could the dangerous Guerrilla Gorilla emerged from the shadows. Seeing the danger Wonder Boy pulled out his sword and activated his shield. "Don't worry Shazam I'll have you out of there after I deal with this bozo."
Guerrilla Gorilla let out a vicious roar beating his chest then pulled out a minigun unleashing a hail of bullets at the young superhero. Reacting quickly Wonder Boy raised his shield up blocking the storm of bullets the force of all those rounds was enough to send anyone off their feet but Wonder Boy kept their feet planted on the ground. Eventually, Guerrilla Gorilla's minigun ran out of ammo, he let out a grunt and holstered the weapon.
"I'm out of bullets, kid. That must be a sturdy shield." Guerilla Gorilla praised, trying to get under the boy's skin.
"Huh. Is that all you got?!" Wonder Boy taunted.
Guerilla Gorilla smirked and pulled out flashbangs, he pulled the pins and threw them directly at him.
Wonder Boy sighed and said. "I just had to say it, didn't I?"
The flashbangs went off blinding Wonder Boy, with the young hero stunned he charged at him, he grabbed the boy by the foot, and threw him into a tree the impact was so hard he smashed right through it, he tried to get up but the wind was knocked out from his lungs. Wasting no time Guerilla Gorilla jumped atop Wonder Boy and began strangling him till he went out cold.
Wonder Boy's body went limp and lifeless, but he still had a pulse, just barely when he squeezed harder, "No Mallah don't kill the boy, he's more useful alive than dead. Bring them both to my lab so I can study them." The brain ordered through the gorilla's headset.
Doing as instructed Guerrilla Gorrila released his hold on Wonder Boy placing a power inhibitor collar around his neck, negating any powers Wonder Boy has. With Wonder Boy immobilized Mallah grabbed him and slung him over his shoulder. Along with dragging Captain Marvel behind.
Aqualad walked to where the coils were and found tracks. It was clear there was a bit of a struggle here given the broken tree and shell casings all over the ground, "Miss Martian… I need a telepathic link up with the entire team now." Aqualad ordered.
"Link established." Miss Martian replied.
"Should you really still be giving us orders?" Artemis added, "And should we really be following them?"
"Listen, please." Aqualad tried to wrap up this situation quickly.
"Oh, good, Aqualad's voice in my head. I've so missed that." Kid Flash responded.
"Hey Kal'dur. K.F. and I were attacked by giant vultures. Course, since were moles. You probably think we attacked ourselves." Robin reminded the team of the tension.
"If he did, he wouldn't tell you." Artemis sneered.
"Superboy, are you online or just pouting?" Miss Martian asked.
"Busy, call back later." Superboy called.
"What gets me is how non-chalant he is about not telling us." Kid Flash asked.
"He should be chalant. Way chalant. Extremely chalant." Robin responded.
"How can we be a team if he doesn't trust us with his secrets." Artemis wondered.
"Or if Connor doesn't trust us to take care of ourselves." Miss Martian asked.
"Did He really think you, Trevor or I could have been the mole?" Kid Flash asked Robin.
"We've known each other for years." Robin answered.
"Trust is a two way street and you know they'd hate it if we kept secrets from them." Miss Martian added.
"Kinda like how my trust in Wonder Boy is gone because he was willing to side with our liar of a leader." Artemis said.
"Rotten apples don't fall far from the tree." Wally backed Artemis on that.
"Enough!" Aqualad was at wit's end and just ripped out one of the power pylons, in rage, "Captain Marvel, and WONDER BOY have been captured and we must act as a team to save them."
"Under your Leadership? I don't-"
"This is not up for debate. You all chose me to lead. Just like Trevor chose me to lead. When the mission is over, if you wish to select a new leader. I will happily step down. But until that time, I am in command here. Also, let me remind you all, I'm the one who kept this a secret, not Trevor, so don't you dare single him out on this." Aqualad threw down the pylon and followed the trail left behind by Guerilla Gorilla.
Wonder Boy awoke strapped to a chair with a pair of mechanical claws cleaning the side of his neck with alcohol. He attempted to move but oddly he couldn't move a single muscle it was like he was paralyzed.
"Ah, awake at last I was beginning to wonder If Mallah did some serious damage." A mechanical voice said. The device turned around to reveal to be a robot with a human brain.
"The Brain." Wonder Boy glared.
"Ah, you've heard of my work? I'm honored." The Brain asked.
Wonder Boy attempted to get free again but there was nothing he could do, the collar inhibited any form of movement from the neck down.
"When I get out of this-" Wonder Boy was interrupted by the Brain.
"Do not be foolish boy, the collar negates all of your powers your struggle is pointless." The brain said, then pulled out a large needle with several more on a tray. "Now hold still, otherwise this will hurt… Much more."
The brain pressed the needle into Wonder Boy's neck making him scream in agony. The needle extracted a large amount of blood from Wonder Boy and when the brain was done he removed the needle. The Brain then proceeded to remove two more tubes worth of blood from Wonder Boys body.
"Ahh, Wonder Boy, you have such excellent genes in your blood. The blood of Amazons and Gods. It is unfortunate you are so young, your brain needs more time to develop. Oh, a marvelous feat that we must wait for. I look forward to that day. Till that day I'm glad to settle for this." The Brain sounded excited in his pristine sense of language.
The Brain removed so much blood, he almost fell unconscious again, but he replaced the last blood syringe with a shot of adrenaline.
"Now now child, I can't have you passing out now, I'd like to have an audience for this next procedure." The Brain explained.
"What procedure?!" Wonder Boy demanded to know.
The Brain turned Wonder Boy's chair over to The Brain's procedure. Wonder Boy didn't need put two and two together to realize what the Brain was about to do. "By the gods, you're gonna take Shazam's brain!"
"How astute for such a young child, I'm almost impressed." The Brain said.
"I'm twelve not five you stupid brain and I'm a lot smarter than you!" Wonder Boy answered.
"Is that so?" The Brain went over to Trevor, "Let us find out for sure." The Brain brings another needle and extracts more blood giving Wonder Boy another torturous procedure of his own.
"Do not worry I only took half of what I originally took, but I'm afraid I have no more adrenaline." The brain said. "Now let's stop wasting time and begin the procedure."
The Brain went over to Captain Marvel who has just regained consciousness, Wonder Boy watched him dazed and halfway from going out cold.
"Wonder Boy, what did you do to him?" Shazam asked.
"Fear not captain the boy is merely resting, tis a shame he won't be fully conscious for the procedure. I suppose the Tigre will make an excellent substitute." The Brain explained, "For he has brought us a prize most glorious. Le Capitan Marvel."
"Why can't I move?" Shazam asked.
"Is it obvious, no?" The Brain asked as he went to a tray containing an assortment of tools.
"Like Wonder Garcon, your collar is set to prohibit le movement from the neck down. I have allowed you to retain the power of speech as your reactions will be instructive during laprocedure."
"La Procedure? What Procedure?" Shazam asked.
"Your brain…" Wonder Boy weakly spoke out.
"I have often pondered the effect of your powers on the cerebral cortex. I long to see le wisdom de Solomon up close. Monsieur Mallah, prepare for surgery."
Seeing the gorilla dressed up as a doctor made Trevor laugh to the best of his ability. "A…doctor… gorilla… now I've seen… everythin… Superboy hates monkeys."
Mallah angrily turned to Wonder Boy, until the alarm went off. He looked over at the monitor to see the rest of their team has arrived.
The sight made Wonder Boy sigh in relief. "You two… are in for a…world of hurt..now."
"Mallah, leave him be, deal with our intruders now." The Brain ordered, "I can handle mon Capitan's brain extraction myself."
With that, the gorilla removed his surgical mask and apron gathered his weapons then headed out.
"Le garcon es magnifique, you have yet to break from le loss of thy blood yet." The Brain scoots his way over to him, "Oh the answers in thine brain will be truly le most beautiful." The Brain said the last word with so much illustrious content he could surmise from his mechanical restrictions, "The wisdom of le Amazon from the cerebral cortex of a man. I look forward to seeing you again when you are of age."
The Brain backed away going back to Captain Marvel as the needed equipment floated down along with a tray of other tools, "You're not taking my brain!"
"S'il vous plait, capitan, do not struggle. Brain extraction is largely painless, but the benefits are largely enormous. Just look what it had done for me."
"You…you're sick." Wonder Boy hissed.
"Yeah, that thing won't work on me." Captain Marvel rolled his eyes as the laser started charging.
"Perhaps. But it works on solid steel so I'll try my luck."
"You're luck… is… running out." Wonder Boy murmured.
The Brain ignored Wonder Boy and kept his focus on Captain Marvel. "I'm told you have the courage of Achilles, no? Perhaps you should've asked for his invulnerability instead."
"Achilles can die from one nick of his heel. I really am smarter than you if you didn't factor in that part!" Wonder Boy replied with what strength he has left.
Just then the tiger the Brain had watching them tackled him. Sendi long him fumbling down the hall.
"Traitor! You will suffer for that!" The Brain extracted a device from his mechanical figure. The signal let out an electrical current from the tiger's collar putting him on the ground in pain.
Just then the wall blew open to reveal Monsieur Mallah and Miss Martian appearing along with the rest of the team.
"It's the Brain!" Kid Flash shouted.
"Uh, I can see it's a brain." Artemis replied.
"Not a brain, The Brain." Kid Flash pointed.
"In the flesh, eh so to speak." The Brain turned to his monkey assistant, "Mallah."
He knew what to do, and reached for the remote device, and with the push of a button more Pylons were erected around the team. The pylons emitted a field that sent the team to their knees.
"Miss Martian, Superboy, now." Aqualad called to the two via telepathy.
Miss Martian went for Mallah's device and switched it off while another hole erupted with Superboy and a giant white wolf arrived.
"Thank… the gods." Wonder Boy said. barely conscious.
The team ganged up on Mallah one by one while the Brain handled Aqualad from his quick jumps with his built-in laser beam.
The Brain turned back at Mallah's situation. With the moment quickly turning against their favor, he huddled close to Mallah, "Mallah stay close."
Wonder Boy wanted to join in the fight and help his friends but the Inhibitor collar, ropes, and body drained of so much blood all he could do is watch.
Aqualad went over to Captain Marvel and ripped off the inhibitor collar.
"Thanks." Captain Marvel gave Aqualad's appreciation "Now, one good turn, deserves another." He said as he ripped off the tiger's collar.
"Wonder Boy!" Aqualad went over to the group's youngest member, gently removed his collar, and then cut his ropes. He then picked him up seeing the bad state he is in. "What did he do to you?!"
"So much blood… he took so much…blood." Wonder Boy said as he struggled to stay conscious.
"We need to get him back to the ship now!" Aqualad said.
With the team back up full numbers, and with the Mallah surrounded, he could only growl.
"Try it, I hate monkeys." Superboy said while popping his knuckles.
"Told… You." Wonder Boy said still awake, just barely.
"No Mallah, this will not be our Waterloo." The brain morphed into some form of last resort mode, "Au revoir, mes amis." The Brain chuckled a little under his electric voice.
"Get down!" Kid Flash yelled.
The team braced for impact while Shazam shielded him from whatever the brain was firing up to do.
Just when he went off, the lights went off, and he and Mallah vanished, along with Trevor's blood samples.
"Wait that big weapon was… a light switch?" Kid Flash was slightly shocked at the anti-climactic exit.
Just then Wonder Boy groaned everyone looked at him, "M'gann, check his vitals!" Aqualad called her over.
"Dear Gods, he's gonna make it, but just barely we need to get him back to the bioship and get an IV running."
"This is all my fault guys if I hadn't chased after that tiger Trevor wouldn't have been captured or had his blood taken." Captain Marvel admitted. "If you want I can carry him for all for you."
"Appreciate it, Captain, but Wonder Boy is a member of our team which makes him our responsibility." Aqualad stated.
"Let me, Aqualad. I said some irresponsible things about him when he stuck with you, allow me to make it up to him." Artemis volunteered.
"Very well." Aqualad smiled.
With that, Artemis picked Wonder Boy up and hauled him over her back.
"Do I… even wanna… know what you said?" Wonder Boy asked.
"I'll tell you when you're better, but are we still good?" Artemis asked.
"We're a team, Artemis. We're good." Trevor replied.
"What're you grinning about?" Artemis asked while carrying Trevor over her back.
"One word, souvenir." Kid Flash took Mallah's hat and put it on his own head.
"Two words, Gorilla lice." Artemis turned his souvenir on himself.
"Huh? Oh, man!" Kid Flash snatched the hat away from his head. The moment even got Trevor to chuckle at the moment.
"I… Would have taken the minigun." Trevor commented.
"Eh, we don't need weapons for souvenirs." Kid Flash patted Trevor's head, "But hey, you and I are good too right?" He gave him a thumbs-up and a smile.
"Yeah sure." Trevor answered rolling his eyes.
"Glad we're all good now." Kid Flash cheered.
"We're not all good yet, we still need an explanation on why our leader kept the truth about the mole hidden from all of us." Robin said.
"Yeah, we deserve an explanation." Artemis said sitting Trevor down on the grass.
"Please Kalur, I hope… you have a good reason." Wonder Boy said.
"The source of the tip was Sportsmaster." Aqualad answered at long last.
"What? You can't trust him!" Artemis shouted.
"I do not. It seemed possible even likely that he was attempting to divide the team with false information."
"And given how this mission went he nearly succeeded, but you had to consider it had to be true." Robin added.
"Yes. As leader, I did. In which case I did not wish to alert the traitor." Aqualad explained.
"And given Red Tornado's conversion? This only reinforced your tip." Wonder Boy realized.
"I hate to say it but, it makes sense." Robin smiled.
"I never doubted." Wonder Boy said.
"I appreciate your loyalty, Trevor, but I am still prepared to step down." Aqualad looked to the rest of the team.
"All in favor of keeping Aqualad as leader?" The whole team raised their hands.
"Guess it's unanimous." Captain Marvel stepped up holding his hand out to shake Aqualad's hand.
Captain Marvel then waved the team goodbye. "See you tomorrow."
"You're not coming back with us?" Aqualad asked.
"Nah gotta fly."
Before Captain Marvel could leave Wonder Boy spoke up. "Hey, captain."
Captain Marvel turned around to face Wonder Boy. "Yeah."
"Remember… I still owe you a burger and don't worry I won't tell anyone your secret." Trevor said, to the best of his ability.
"Uh… what secret?" Shazam asked, nervously.
"I'm a god too, Billy… I know the secret." Trevor smiled, weakly.
"Promise?" Shazam whispered as quietly as he could.
Wonder Boy nodded.
Feeling assured Captain Marvel took flight leaving the team on their own.
"Uhh, what secret are you talking about?" Wally asked.
"I'll never tell." Wonder Boy smirked.
Aqualad rolled his eyes and said. "Miss Martian, Artemis get Wonder Boy on the ship, get an IV running, and sedate him. He'll need the rest."
"Okay." Artemis hoisted Trevor on her back, and they hopped inside the ship.
"So what's with the wolf?" Trevor asked.
"Wolf?" Connor said the name, "Hey that's not a bad name, Trevor. This is Wolf." Connor patted Wolf's head.
"That's terribly generic but it's acceptable." Kid Flash said.
"Kinda look like that stuffed white wolf Kara and I won at the arcade." Trevor smiled. "Boy am I glad she wasn't in this mission, but I miss her so much."
"Trevor your overreacting, she just got kicked off the team you can still see her whenever you want." Artemis stated placing him on the gurney and hooking him up an IV.
"Maybe it's the lack of blood talking. I'm ready to rest now." Trevor smiled.
"Don't worry Trevor you're gonna feel a little pinch." M'gann assured as she prepared the sedation drug.
"Are you sure that will even work on me?" Trevor asked weakly.
"Wake up and tell us if it works." Artemis smiled, "And tell us if you dream about lil'Kara." She teased.
With that M'gann injected the drug into the IV line, and Trevor felt tired, "Thanks." Trevor finally went to sleep.
"Those two really are adorable together." M'gann said to Artemis via telepathy
"Yeah, a real prince charming." Artemis patted the boy's head.
Mount Justice
The Bioship arrived in the Hanger where Batman and Wonder Woman were waiting. The bioship landed and the first thing she saw was her son in a gurney linked to an IV in his arm. Seeing this Wonder Woman's expression turned to one of Horror. She immediately ran to him seeing the state he was in.
"What happened?" Batman asked.
Aqualad stepped up, "Wonder Boy was taken by the Brain, he extracted a lot of his blood."
"For what purpose?" Wonder Woman asked with he voice seething with rage.
"We're not sure yet." Aqualad answered.
"What's his condition?" Batman asked.
"He'll make it, he just needs the IV and some rest." Robin checked his vitals.
"It's really Captain Marvel's fault he told us himself, he chased after a tiger and led him and Wonder Boy into a trap. The Brain was planning to remove Captain Marvel's Brain so it's possible he had the same thing in mind for the kid." Kid Flash explained.
Batman looked at Wonder Boy and his condition, "Take him to the medical wing."
Before Kid Flash could even move the gurney Wonder Woman stepped up.
"No. I'm taking him home." Wonder Woman objected.
Wonder Woman attempted to te remove the IV but before he could Batman stopped her.
"Do not let emotion cloud your judgment Diana." Batman said sternly in his words and expression.
"I'm taking him home." Wonder Woman resumed until the rest of his team stood before him.
"He is your son, but he is a member of our team, and we won't let him down. So I insist you remove your grip from Wonder Boy's IV." Aqualad suggested.
"Fine, but I'm staying here with him." Diana compromised.
"Very well. Should I arrange transport for your husband?" Batman asked.
"With haste, now If you'll allow me I'll be taking him to the medical wing myself." Diana insisted.
"Very well, Robin, contact Colonel Trevor, Aqualad I need a full report. On everything." Batman glared.
"Of course." Aqualad nodded.
Wonder Woman took Trevor to the medical wing, while Aqualad gave his report to Batman. Leaving Robin to make the call to Trevor's father. The rest of the team took their leave and retreated to their living quarters.
Superboy watched Wonder Boy on the other side of the glass. M'gann walked up behind, she didn't need to read his mind to know what he was thinking, "I don't think now's the time to tell Kara about this, Connor."
"I know, I'll wait till he wakes up." Connor responded.
Just then Steven arrived to see the state his son was in, "Hello, you must be Trevor's father. He's in there." Connor pointed.
"Thank you, you must be Connor." Steve greeted.
"We can wait for introductions. Your son needs you." M'gann insisted.
"Thank you." Steve entered the medical room to see him unconscious and Diana in tears. Once inside Steven embraces his wife.
"What happened?" Steven asked.
"The Brain took three and a half vials of your son's blood." Batman said in the corner of the room making Steve jump back a little in surprise.
"Does he do that a lot?" Steve asked, slightly shocked.
"You get used to it." Diana answered.
"Colonel Trevor, nice to finally meet you." Batman offered a hand.
"Nice to meet the official caped crusader, I suppose." Steve accepted the handshake.
"Most colonels I've met in my time are corrupt and careless about the lives of their men. It's nice to meet one who serves his men and not himself." Batman said.
"Uh thanks, I think." Steven replied.
"That's the best you'll ever get from him. I'd take it and run." Diana suggested.
"What the hell would the brain want my son's blood for anyway?" Steven asked.
"We don't know but based on the facts, your son's Amazon heritage could be found in his DNA. For now, we can summarize the Brain will be looking into exploiting the Amazon's genetic code." Batman showed the results of Trevor's blood test results.
"What could the Brain want with that, Amazon super soldiers?" Steve asked.
"We're not sure yet, but that is a potentially valid claim given the team's latest mission reports." Batman answered.
Steven and Diana turned to their sleeping son and concern was written all over their faces they knew danger was part of this job but it didn't seem fair that their son was taking this much responsibility, it's too much for a kid to handle.
"Maybe it's time we considered removing him from the team." Diana suggested.
"No, he won't go for that." Steven argued, "You know him he's a lot like us in many ways stubborn, willing to leap into danger, and courageous."
"And speaking of this team, I don't know what's been going on this side of my son's life, but what happened to the girl, Kara?"
"Kara was kicked off the team." Batman said simply, "Unfortunately any information regarding the league or this team is classified even to family members."
"Well I won't take that answer personally, given my rank as Colonel, but you should know Wonder Boy, my son, came to me looking for solace just before the mission. So long as he's mentally focused on the mission, I would hope you're looking out for him so I don't have to." Steve put his foot down for his son's sake.
"Wait what?" Diana was taken aback a bit by this news.
"What did he tell you?" Batman asked.
"Only that he's on a mission and struggling on a number of things regarding this team." Steve explained, "I won't ask what's happening, but I hope you'll get things straightened out here, you can't deploy a unit when they're half ready." Colonel Steve finalized.
"Valid points, Colonel." Batman admitted under his cowl.
Suddenly the three heard a low groan They looked to see Trevor regaining consciousness. His eyes slowly opened to see Diana, Steve, and Batman standing over him. "W-where am I?"
"You're in the medical bay in Mount Justice son. The Brain took a lot of your blood."
"Yeah, I remember, he… said Blood of Amazons… And Gods. Wanted to take my brain… but said I was too young. Said he would… take it when I'm…older."
Hearing this made Diana growl.
"Blood of Amazons…" Batman said out loud.
"And Gods." Steve followed.
"This is bad the gods only know what that psycho brain is gonna do with my blood. What are we gonna do?" Wonder Boy asked.
"Nothing… yet." Diana held his covers up closer to him, "Right now you need to rest."
Trevor sighed, "C'mon Mom."
"Trevor you need to rest and allow your body to replenish your blood. C'mon, blow it up." Steve offered his son a fist bump which gave Trevor a smile and he returned the expression.
"Fine, I'll rest." Trevor complied with his parent's wishes.
Back outside, Superboy and M'gann watched their friend heal, "Think you can link us up?" Connor asked M'gann.
"Already done." M'gann responded.
"Hey Trevor," Superboy called, which got his attention, "I'll tell Kara you said hi." Superboy held out a cell phone.
Trevor didn't respond, only gave the two a thumbs up and went back to sleep. Connor turned back to M'gan and they left the hall to go to the recreational room.
"Trevor isn't a teenager like the rest of us, you know that Connor." M'gann said.
"I know, but if I were in his shoes right now I'd wanna hear from you." Connor held out his hand for M'gann.
"I'll give you that, you're right I'd like to hear from you if it were you back there." M'gann admitted.
Kent Farm
Kara and Johnathan spent the last two hours in the open field, staring down at metal buckets, "So how does this work?"
"Clark told me his heat vision is at its most powerful during the day, that the sun's rays are stored into his body, and in this case, yours as well." Jonathan explained. After spending time with his son after the forming of the league, Clark thought it'd be good to explain heat vision to his father.
Kara looked down at the metal buckets and tried to summon her heat vision focusing as hard as she could nothing happened. After a minute Kara groaned in frustration, stomping the ground causing a slight quake in the ground. "This isn't working I told you it won't come out. Besides I don't think I even want to use it last time it came out I hurt Trevor." Kara said trying to rid her of that horrid memory.
Jonathan was beginning to feel unsure as well, but he knows his son well, there is a cause to their heat vision, it's all a matter of finding that spark.
Fortunately, their unclear puzzle pandering was interrupted by a phone call from Kara's phone, "Hello?"
"So how's my cousin doing?" Connor asked on a video call.
Kara wasn't sure what to say, saying fine would be a complete lie.
"Sorry, Kara, bad question, sorry about that." Connor corrected.
"It's fine, Jonathan and Martha are trying to teach me how to control my heat vision but progress is…slow."
"I'm sorry, well, when I tried to use heat vision it didn't work. Could be an age thing, but… I don't know." Even Connor was stumped.
"If it was an age thing why did it come out when we were fighting that Amazo or when…" Kara trailed off remembering the second time it came out.
"Right well, speaking of Trevor I have some bad news." Connor spoke lightly, but unfortunately, the words sparked Kara back at the screen quickly.
"What happened?!" Kara demanded to know.
"You want the long story or the short?" Connor asked.
"Everything!" Kara shouted.
Connor gave Kara the entire rundown of the mission leaving out no detail. He explained how Guerilla Gorilla captured Shazam and Wonder Boy and how the Brain took a lot of his blood and nearly took Shazam's brain.
"Is Trevor gonna be okay?" Kara asked out of concern for her best friend.
"Don't worry the kid's tough, he'll make a full recovery in a few days." Connor assured her.
"OK, I'll take your word for it." Kara said, though her face didn't show sorrow, but confusion, and then anger. Her anger felt like it was bubbling in her own mind, and she turned away from the call and unleashed her heat vision again on the metal buckets, "Aaaagh!" Kara yelled at the bucket.
By the time her anger subsided her nerves calmed and she took in a heavy breath and looked back at her cousin.
"Anger?" Johnathan thought to himself.
"I'm gonna come see him." Kara said but before she could even take off Connor spoke up.
"Bad idea. Diana and Steve are with him and wished to not be disturbed. Diana's taking him home tomorrow morning. We wanted him to stay at the base but Diana is his mom and who are we to argue with her." Connor explained.
"Hey look, I don't have heat vision, but I'm going to go by memory back when I was… Well, you remember the story. When Clark uses it, he funnels all of his emotions, anger most especially, but if my hunch is right it's also in his self-confidence that he's able to control his emotions and use his heat vision with full control.
The words from her cousin seeped through her ears and into her mind, "Confidence?" Kara said to herself.
"Yeah, maybe that's what you've been missing. I'm not an expert, consider that friendly advice from family." Connor said, "We'll call you later."
"Hey wait!" Kara held her cousin back, "I love you, Connor."
"Love you too Kara." Connor responded.
"Love you too Connor, truly a blessing to have you as a grandson." Jonathan said, and Martha waving in the background.
Connor chuckled, "Love you guys too." Connor finally hung up the phone.
With Kara left with her advice from her cousin, and the news of her friend, Trevor. She took a deep breath from her nose and out through her nose.
She looked back at where the bucket used to be and looked back. With her cousin's advice she looked straight, and focused. How it felt to hear about Trevor, any memory from her that makes her mad, and using her new determination to get back to the team generated through what confidence she had at the moment and out didn't come a beam, but a light flicker of red. She watched the flicker go to the grass rendering the blades to shrivel in a light ember.
"Kara you're doing it!" Jonathan smiled, "C'mon let's do it one more time!"
"Yeah!" Kara looked back at the bucket and followed the same routine once more. However, the results weren't as promising as the first time nothing happened. Kara was disappointed but a flicker was better than nothing and for now that's enough for her.
"Maybe we should take a break. I think you need more time in the sun." Martha said as she made her way over to the two.
"The sun? The sun. The sun!" Kara knelt on the ground and was prepared to fly with a jumpstart. In one push from the ground her pounce erupted in a mild rumble for the Kents.
"Oh I know where she's going." Martha smiled.
"I'll get more buckets." Jonathan said.
Flying as fast as she can breaking through the earth's atmosphere she passed Venus and Mercury till she could feel the sun's rays in its purest form. She took a spin while in zero gravity as if she were free-falling in gravity. A few minutes went by, having her fill of the sun's rays she flew her way back to Earth and back to her family's farm.
"Alright Kara, shoot." Johnathan pointed at three new buckets on the other side of the field.
Kara focused, remembering his cousin's advice, and with confidence thanks to the surge from her close-up with the sun she fired elegantly at the first bottle, and the second bucket was shot almost as good, and the third she just barely struck it without what's left of her energy to go up in another flicker.
"Seriously?" Kara stomped her feet.
"Kara, sweetie, that was amazing!" Martha smiled at her with a glass of water at the ready.
"Kara this is proof, proof that you can control this power." Johnathan assured.
"I think for now we need to rest. We made a lot more progress than you believe." Martha promised.
"Okay." Kara surrendered.
Unknown Location
The Brain arrived at the meeting room with Monsieur Mallah by his side, "I've brought a great boon for the light, Monsieur?"
Monsieur brought several pouches of Wonder Boy's blood.
"Ah, this is a worthy gift indeed." The voice of a woman said.
"Fortunately I have more than enough to create le serum that will grant you the power of le Wonder Garcon, and you will have your revenge." The Brain assured.
"And what will you do with the rest of the blood?" she asked.
"With the amount I have left, I will keep for myself who knows what scientific discoveries await, then after that I'll have Wonder Woman's DNA."
"If this serum helps me kill Wonder Woman and her little runt then you can have as much as you want." The woman assured.
"Now, mademoiselle, that is not what our order stands for. Even le team will soon see the light." The Brain defended.
"Are you saying that because it's true, or because of the boy." The woman asked.
"Can not be both?" The Brain answered with another question, "Children's minds are so valuable, plus magnifique than you can imagine. You can educate them however you want, even so intently to where you're altering the natural process as if with your bare hands of the human mind. Truly inelegant, I look forward to seeing that monsieur's brain in its purest form. I can only imagine the secrets I will find. Superbe."
"Fine! I won't kill the runt but I will still hurt him." The woman said popping her knuckles to make a point.
"Please refrain from any concussive trauma, and we will be fine, Madame Orana." The Brain answered their newest member.
Several monitors then appeared over the three showing distorted appearances. "Orana welcome to The Light."
I hope everyone enjoyed the chapter, please leave a review and tell me what you think.
