A soldier named Calak Star is thrown into the galactic conflict between the Republic and Sith. Led by Darth Malak, the evil Sith seem to have an unending fleet. Calak must team up with his fellow soldiers, make new friends, and find the Jedi Bastila. They set out on a grand quest that spans across the galaxy to stop Malak and save the Republic. Will they succeed, or will they fall?

In which Scourge writes letters to the Jedi Knight after their separation.

"Scourge, his agent, and Wrath had personally seen his death. The Force sang of the finality of that moment in a way that could only be fully understood in hindsight, and it mourned his passing equally."
