This is a Kingdom Hearts requested story by Arika 24. It's about Roxas's thoughts when he gets done confronting and demanding answers from Axel. The story takes place near the end of 358/2 days.
Arika 24: For your question about if there will be lemons or violence, gore and strong language in the First Journey story, there will not be any lemons whatsoever. There will be strong language, a medium amount of smut, maybe a bit of violence as well, but no gore and lemons at all in the story.
Also, for your other question about Terra hating Aqua in the On His Own story, he does not hate her. He would never hate her. He's only angry at her for spying on him.
I'm sorry I couldn't reply to your questions up until now and I didn't mean to make you angry, but I just couldn't message you about my answers because you didn't have a reply to review icon. Next time you have a question for me, I would highly advise PM (Private Message) me about it so that I can answer any questions.
Enjoy the story.

As he stared at ice cream stick in his hand, which lacked the ice cream itself, Roxas wondered how things became so wrong when it was great back then.
If there is one thing Roxas hated above all else, it was fellow allies or best friends keeping secrets from him. What gives them the right to keep said secrets when he has the right to know?! Especially after everything he had been doing for Organization XIII upon joining nearly a year ago?!
It's not fair!
It's not fair at all!
Ever since Roxas discovered what his now former best friend, Xion, really is – a replica puppet to replicate his powers, which is the Keyblade's powers – he has been asking himself questions. Is he a puppet like Xion? Who is he supposed to be? Why did the Keyblade only choose Roxas instead of no one else in the Organization? Why is he so special?
There were so many other questions Roxas wanted to know, all being important, but there was one question he wanted to know above all else, a question everyone in the Organization keeps avoiding when asked.
Who is Sora?
Ever since learning the name from Xemnas, the leader of the Organization XIII, Roxas has been getting weird dreams lately about being on a tropical island and hanging out with a girl who looked exactly like Xion but had red hair instead of black and a boy who had silver hair. He has never met or seen them in the real world before, so why does he keeps seeing them in his dreams?
But the question remains in Roxas's head: Who is Sora and why does the name sound so special? Important as well?
All the questions Roxas asked himself when he had been lying on his bed in his room led him to seek answers from Axel, another best friend of his. He was sure the red-head man can answer his questions with honesty since they were best friends to begin with after they first met each other, despite things becoming tense between them now with Xion leaving the Organization.
However, when Roxas approached Axel to receive honest answers from him, he didn't get any whatsoever, much to his shock, anger, hurt, suspicion and betrayal.
Receiving no honest answers had been the start of Roxas not only breaking his friendship with Axel but also cutting ties with the Organization completely like Xion.
And what had been a normal conversation between friends turned into a heated argument.
Roxas can admit he may have been a bit harsh when he recalled an important fact about friendship during the heated argument right after Axel said they were still best friends.
"Best friends are supposed to be honest with each other!"
It was true, best friends are supposed to be honest with each other, trust one another and comfort if one is feeling sad, not lie or keep secrets. It's how friendships are created. But why was Axel lying to Roxas instead of telling him the truth like a best friend should do? Did their friendship mean anything or was it fake like how Zexion mentioned Nobodies can't feel emotions like happiness and love?
Either way, Roxas had a feeling Axel was keeping more secrets from him than usual and he didn't like it. At all.
Roxas and Axel continued to have their heated argument and it grew more heated when the latter gave the former a rather harsh wisdom of words.
"Finding out the truth doesn't always work out for the best."
When Axel mentioned those words, Roxas felt himself frozen for a few seconds before his temper, which had started to appear during the heated argument, snapped. How dare Axel say those words to him?! He has the right to know the truth!
And Roxas made sure to prove his point across to Axel by the next words he said.
"What makes you so sure about that? I have the right to know the truth! How did I even get here? Why I am so special? Where did I learn how to use the Keyblade? I hardly know who I am! What is so wrong with wanting some answers?!"
Like Roxas thought before, he has the right to know the answers to his questions, considering things have been relating to him lately. He deserves to know! But why was everyone, including Axel, who was supposed to be his best friend, so determined of preventing him from getting the answers?
"I need to know, Axel. Please…who am I?"
That had been Roxas's last desperate attempt to get at least one honest answer from Axel, otherwise the friendship between them is over. Not only that, but he would leave the Organization for good without ever returning, regardless of the consequences.
But Axel refused to answer Roxas's questions honestly, only saying these words.
"You've just gotta trust me, Roxas."
Just like that, the friendship between Roxas and Axel became broken when the latter said those words instead of giving an honest answer to the former who couldn't believe it. After all the times they hang out on top of the clock tower in Twilight Town eating sea-salt ice cream whenever missions are done, this was how things were going to end? By keeping secrets and lying to one another?
Well, if Axel wanted to keep his secrets, then fine; he can keep his precious secrets. Roxas will have to find his answers somewhere else. But there was an important fact he just now learned, even though it does make his non-existent heart hurt before he pushed the feeling away.
Roxas cannot trust Axel.
If Roxas does trust Axel, then there's a chance things might become worse than before. He needed to get away before it's too late.
As Roxas walked angrily away from a pain-looking Axel, he gave him one last parting words filled with bitterness and anger.
"If I can't get answers here, then I'll get them somewhere else."
It was true, Roxas will have to find the answers he's looking for somewhere else instead of the World That Never Was. He would never get anything here, not even from the other members. They'll probably take him out like they tried to do when Xion began stealing his strength. Roxas cannot let that happen, not until he gets his answers.
The only way to get answers is for Roxas to leave the Organization completely.
'It's like I said to Axel,' Roxas thought, continued to stare at the ice cream stick in his hand. 'Staying here won't get me the answers I'm looking for. I need to find them somewhere else. I need to find out about myself.' Roxas then narrowed his bright blue eyes in determination and resolve. 'And I'm going to get my answers one way or another. If the Organization tries to stop me, then they will receive the end of my Keyblade.'
Roxas will get the answers to the questions he wants to know, no matter what gets in his way.
And done! That's the ending of the story! It may be short and rushed, but I did put effort into writing this. I hope it's good enough for you guys to enjoy.
