AN: Hey, y'all. Here's Acceptance & Love, my first one-shot fanfic for Spider-Man: Spider-Verse (Sony Animated Movies). I had so much fun writing it. I promise to write more fics for trans Gwen Stacy and the Spider-Verse movies.

Gwen sat on Miles's bed, waiting for him to get back. He said that he was going out to buy some food for them and he went out the window. In hindsight, it was a little bit funny. The reason why she dropped by his Earth was because she planned on coming out to him. With everything going on recently, Gwen didn't really have a chance to tell him she's trans. She already told him she's bisexual after they saved the multiverse from the Spot.
She felt pretty bad for taking his collectible figure out of the box the last time she was in his bedroom, so she managed to track down and purchase one in mint condition. The action figure was still in the shopping bag she had brought with her. It's exactly the same kind too, except it came from her universe, Earth-65. She gasped when she saw Miles's bedroom door open. It was Rio, Mile's mom.
"Gwen! I didn't expect to see you here. Where's Miles's? Ugh, did he use the window instead of the front door, again? I swear that boy is going to be the death of me someday.. I'm just glad that you're there for him. If you're hungry, I can bring you two some food." Rio said. When they first met, she didn't like Gwen all that much, but after getting to know her, she cared for her as if she was her own daughter.
"Yep. It's me. Yeah, there's something I wanted to tell Miles. I also brought him a gift from my Earth. He did. He's bringing food. But I wouldn't say no to more though." Gwen replied. She smiled when Rio chuckled. Gwen wanted Miles's parents to like her and they did. Especially more so after finding out that she saved Miles from being killed by an alternate Earth version of himself.
"I guess I can't be too mad. Well, just let me know if you want more food. I'll be in the living room." Rio said. She left her son's bedroom, closing the door behind her. Rio had a feeling that there was something going on between Miles and Gwen. If they started dating, she would support them wholeheartedly. She'll need to talk to Jefferson when he would return from work later that night.

Gwen didn't have to wait more than another twelve minutes for Miles to come swinging back into his bedroom, carrying two bags worth of take out from two of their favorite restaurants. He greeted her with a sweet kiss on her cheek. She sniffed the air, inhaling the smell of Taco Bell and Burger King.
"Sorry that took me so long. There was a huge line of people at both places. Here, let's separate our food." Miles said. After the two of them got their meals sorted, they started eating. Miles couldn't believe how hungry he was, but that tended to happen if he swung around as Spider-Man for too long. That was one of the most common things among the multiverse of Spider-People.
Gwen was too busy stuffing her face full of taco, all she could do was smile shyly at Miles once she swallowed the food in her mouth after she chewed it because she didn't want to choke to death. She was a bit of a big eater like Miles. Swinging through the city and kicking bad guy ass sure helped burn a lot of calories.
"Miles, thanks for the food. It was great. But that's not the only reason why I came. I bought you something. I think you'll like it." Gwen said. She handed Miles the shopping bag with the boxed figure in it. The smile on his face as he saw what it was, made her day.
"Gwen, I don't know what to say. You didn't have to do this. Thanks so much." Miles replied. He set the figure on his shelf before he smiled at her. Miles was happy to have a friend like her. She's amazing.
"Well, you're welcome. The other thing that I wanted to tell you is something I've been meaning to for a while, but there just wasn't a good time to say this until right now. I'm trans. A transgender girl, actually. I just didn't know how you would react. I've just had some pretty bad experiences in the past with coming out to people." Gwen said. She felt tears falling from her eyes, she wiped them off with the back of a hand when Miles hugged her. Gwen was surprised for a second, then she hugged him back.
"I'm so happy you told me. You're my girlfriend and I'll always love you, no matter what. It doesn't matter if you're trans or cis, you're a girl and you're still Gwen. " Miles said. The two of them stayed like that for nearly ten minutes. He pulled away to wipe at his eyes as he realized he was crying too.
Gwen and Miles pulled away when someone knocked the door before opening it, revealing Miles's parents, who were smiling at them both. Jefferson and Rio shared a knowing look with each other. His parents were happy for him and Gwen. They were good for each other.
"We just wanted to see how you two are doing. Hey, Gwen, I like those pins you have on your shirt." Jefferson said. He may seem like a hardass sometimes, but he truly did care about other people. Especially his family and the people his son was close to.
"Thanks. They're the trans and bi pride flag pins. I bought them at a pride event back on my Earth. I love them. They're cute.. " Gwen replied. The pride pins were pretty cheap and she didn't own any at that time. She did leave them at home or put them in a safe place when she was dressed in her Spider-Woman costume, saving the day.
"That's great. Rio and I talked. We want you to stay over for dinner tonight. I realized, we both did, that we haven't gotten to know you like we should. You're dating our son, so you're family now. And we care about you no matter what." Jefferson said. He, Rio and Miles all brought Gwen into a group hug, letting her know she was loved and accepted for who she is.

After eating dinner with Miles and his parents, Gwen played one of Miles's favorite video games with him for a couple of hours before going back to Earth-65B. The device she usually wore on her right wrist allowed her to travel to Earths in the multiverse, also let her stay on any Earth for as long as she wanted, but she had exams to study for. Not to mention, there was a new villain she needed to stop and make sure he didn't hurt anyone else.
Gwen managed to swing to her home without running into any kind of trouble, which she was eternally grateful for. She carefully opened her bedroom window, not making a single sound in the process. Gwen removed her costume, promising to wash it the next day since it was probably full of sweat. Getting rid of that gross thought, she grabbed some clean clothes and trudged towards the bathroom.
She set her clothes on the bathroom sink, took off her dirty underwear, threw them into the hamper and she got in the shower. Turning the water on at the perfect temperature, she sighed contentedly when the water finally touched her skin. Once she was finished, Gwen dried off, got dressed, then she got out her textbooks and started studying for the rest of the night until it was almost three in the morning, by that point, she forced herself to go to sleep.

Gwen passed all of her exams, although she did have some trouble with a few questions. It wasn't anything she couldn't handle. She didn't hate high school, but it wasn't favorite either. Gwen was looking forward to graduating in the following year and going to college.
She did consider waiting a year before heading off to college just to focus on being Spider-Woman. Her dad, George, wasn't too fond of that idea and she really didn't blame him. This was her life though, not his. Gwen would do what she thought was the right decision. So that's exactly what she was going to do.
Once she had done what she needed to do, in terms of school things anyway, she changed into her Spider-Woman outfit and patrolled her New York City. She knocked out some drug dealers, captured a wannabe super villain who called himself Hitman, he used guns, he also wore a red and yellow costume. She found out his name was Kole Ward after he was arrested. He was the bad guy she had been trying to track down.
Gwen then traveled to Miles's Earth to help him patrol his city. That night, they slept together for the first time and she spent the night with him. She woke up early, kissed him on the forehead and went back to her Earth.

AN2: And that's the end of Acceptance & Love. I'm actually working on and writing a Gwen Stacy x Felicia Hardy fanfic. Which I will have the first chapter written & published soon.
