Chapter 1468 Fury of the Dragon

I don't own Bleach or any of the powers and gear used in this story.

The group were together as they stormed towards the base together, many soldiers were in front of them.

"Oh come on." Hank frowns.

"Hank, you and Natsu go foward, we'll handle them." Draco freezes some making a path.

He nodded and looks at Natsu. "Let's do this."

"Right." Natsu grins.

They fought against the soldiers as the two ran past them hitting others on the way there.

Erza and Wendy fought against others and they sensed someone nearby.

"What?" Erza said.

Wendy got curious as they two looked in a direction.

Natsu and Hank ran foward and they saw Zeref outside.

"Game over Zeref, you failed." Hank said.

Zeref frowned. "You have completely ruined my plan."

"Such a shame." They saw Gabriel come out.

"Gabriel!" Hank said.

Zeref was confused to see Gabriel. "Who are you?"

"Gabriel, Reverse Flash, anything like that. Now if you want to get stronger take this." Reverse Flash shows a red crystal.

Zeref detects the immense power within the crystal shard.

"This changes everything." He said.

He took the crystal and absorbed its power. This caused him to transform.

"What the hell was that?" Natsu said.

"Something called a Worldstone, see ya!" Reverse Flash runs off.

Natsu sees the changed form of Zeref being his fairy heart form and knew that he had become more powerful.

"This is going to suck..." Natsu frowns with Hank getting ready.

"I can feel the power of the Worldstone coursing through my veins! With this I can finally achieve my goal." Zeref said.

"Let's go Natsu!" Hank said and he transforms into Dragon Force 3.

Natsu enters Dragon Force 2 and joins Hank in attacking Zeref who counters their moves.

"This is not enough to stop me, you both shall fall today." He fires a magical blast at them.

They guarded and got sent back because of it, Hank recovers and summons Mjolnir shooting Lightning at him.

Zeref blocks the lightning with a barrier and counterattacks with light magic spell.

Hank summons a barrier to block it but he got sent back still, Natsu charges at Zeref and throws many punches at him. Zeref dodged each of them and pushed Natsu back with a gravity magic spell.

Hank catches Natsu. "You okay?"

"I am not out of it yet!" Natsu said.

"You should give up, the power of the Worldstone surpassed that of Fairy Heart. While I am more confident in fighting Acnologia with it, I choose to return to the past and stop Acnologia's rise and change the timeline." Zeref said.

He opens the Neo Eclipse Gate that was near surprising them.

"Not again!" Hank powers up and charges foward.

Zeref uses Time Magic to slow Hank down before copying Jellal's Grand Chariot spell and using it against the Team Light member.

Hank screams as he holds it together. Chains appeared on the gate and Zeref saw Draco use his own body to delay it.

"No! You shall not stop me." Zeref said.

Zeref is about to attack Draco but then Natsu attacks him with his Fire Dragon's Sword Horn and Fire Dragon's Iron Fist spells. However Zeref quickly recovers and shoots Natsu repeatedly with Bullet Magic.

"Why can't you see that what I am doing is for your own good!" Zeref said.

"Because you hurt my friends, and Hank is my cousin too, so i'll fight!" Natsu said.

Zeref growled and uses Chain Magic to bind Natsu. "Then watch as I kill him."

He then casts the Abyss Break spell "This is the end for you Hank!"

They heard a roar as Red Eyes appears and shoots at him. Zeref's casting is interrupted as he defends himself with a barrier.

"Accursed beast! If it wasn't for those dragons, I won't have lost my family and I wouldn't have been cursed, trying to revive my little brother!" He said.

He blasted Red-Eyes down as the dragon was in pain, Hank got shocked seeing that and reaches out to him. "Red Eyes!"

Then the energy from Red Eyes is being eaten by Hank as he starts to get stronger from the new element.

This shocked Zeref. "He's doing what Acnologia did and is absorbing the essence of a dragon!"

Red-Eyes sends his energy to help his friend since he wants him to win this battle.

"I cannot allow him to succeed!" Zeref creates a magical explosion at Hank's location.

"Hank!" Natsu said.

But then a burning flame came out as a pillar for everyone to be seen with two glowing red eyes inside of it.

Draco smiles at the scene. "He's coming."

It then disperses as Hank comes out in a new version of Dragon Force, his wings were bigger, the chest was shown like Super Saiyan 4 but with red scales covering it, he has lightning and inferno markings on his body and arms, the sides of his face were more dragon like and he glares at him with red eyes that have a slit.

"No!" Zeref was worried.

"Is that a new stage of Dragon Force?" Natsu said.

"Let's call it Dragon Force 4." Hank growls.

Draco nodded. "The infinite potential of his dragon got passed on to Hank, making him become stronger."

Hank appears next to Zeref and grabs his arm. "Why do all of this, why harm innocent people?"

"You are blind, if you cannot see that I am trying to save the world from the Black Dragon!" Zeref said.

Hank got mad. "By having others die." He punches Zeref in the gut.

Zeref coughs up blood but he is still defiant. "You will doom the world."

He uses the Ankhseram Black Magic spell, Death Predation. Hank blocks it and kicks him outside of the building as the two fight in the sky, everyone saw Zeref and Hank's new forms and they got amazed.

"Hank got an upgrade." Gray said.

"Yeah, looks like it." Laxus said.

"He's leaving the rest us Dragon Slayers in the dust, huh?" Gajeel said.

Zeref uses his Death Orb spell against Hank, but he grabs it and crushes it before going into his Hell flame mode. "You hate dragons so much, but Red Eyes is my friend so I won't let you do that to him!"

"Shut up!" He uses his Dark Blast Inferno spell on Hank.

Hank punches through it. "Hell Flame Dragon's fist!" He punches Zeref in the face.

Zeref bellowed in pain. He burnt through my enhanced magic?

He then casted Immobilization Magic on Hank. Hank grunted before he shouts with his fire coming out burning through it.

"Damn you!" Zeref got mad.

Zeref is now desperate and he decides to cast the spell, Law. This was the very magic that Fairy Law was made from and what caused his curse to appear on Mavis when she used it.

"I'll reduce you to nothingness with this spell and then I will destroy your friends before I change history!"

"I won't let you!" Hank charges foward.

Zeref uses it but then Hank starts to eat Fairy Law.

"Impossible!" Zeref got shocked.

Hank then grabs him and then to Zeref's shock Hank was absorbing his Fairy heart form.

"How are you devouring my magic power?!" Zeref said.

Zeref tries to resist by punching Hank repeatedly to try and force him to stop. But then he changes back as Hank absorbed everything with the dragon slayer glaring down at him.

"This ends now!" Hank powers up.

"No!" Zeref said.

He then begins to cast a self-destruct spell to take him down. But Hank stops it and summons a pillar of fire burning Zeref, the mage looks at himself as he was turning into ash slowly.

"I am not regenerating...he overpowered the curse? I am disappearing with my empire..." His body crumbled and the ashes were blown away by the wind.

It stops as Hank flies down, Draco saw the gate vanish and he stops the chains, Natsu was also freed as they went out.

Hank landed on the ground and looks at Lucy. "Lucy! I did it!"

"Yes, you saved the day!" Lucy smiles.

They embraced with the two smiling, Red-Eyes came back as Hank smiles patting his head as the dragon growls.

"Only Acnologia is left, now." Gray said.

"Where's Erza and Wendy?" Kazuo asked and they looked around.

"Alex too." Victor said.

With Erza

She was with Wendy as they faced off against a woman, that resembles Erza so much, this is Irene Belserion.

"So your truly my mother." Erza said.

"Yes, you were born from me, I became a dragon and I wanted to stop becoming one, so I planned to transfer my soul into you, but you were useless so I got rid of you." She said.

Erza glares at Irene and goes to attack, but then a big figure comes down in between them making a crash.

"What?" Irene said.

She then saw Alex wearing a mask that hides who he is.

Erza got surprised to see him. "Wait..."

Irene feels a sense of familiarity but can't figure out why.

"Identify yourself!" She demanded.

"Hello Irene." Alex said.

"You know me?" She said.

"Of course." He takes off his masking making her gasp.

Irene got shocked. "Alex?"

"Yes Irene, it's me." He said.

"How do you two know each other?" Erza asked.

Wendy was also curious and Alex looks back at Erza. "Because... I'm your father."

Erza is shocked into speechlessness. No wonder she felt a connection to him!

Wendy is also speechless. "But how?"

"A long time ago, I met Irene." He said.

Flashback

Alex came out of a portal and he was surprised, he was at a forest.

"Where am I?" He said.

He heard a dragon and he saw it going towards a younger Irene, she gets ready before it got cut down in half.

She got surprised and saw Alex with Dragonslayer on his shoulder.

"You saved me, what's your name?" Irene said.

"My name is Alex Hokuto." He said.

"I am Irene."

"After that I helped her save the people with the dragons as Dragonslayer was a blade meant to kill dragons and we became close."

Irene holds his head as the moon was above them and kisses Alex.

Flashback Ends

"We cared about each other." Alex looks at Irene.

Irene's expression darkens as she remembers Alex's disappearance.

"Where were you Alex? Did you know what I went through after you disappeared!"

"I didn't have a choice! I was dragged through a portal through time!" He said

Irene was shocked to learn this.

"It's like this world is out to make suffer!" She said.

Irene got sad. "All of this could have been avoided if you were still with me so long ago."

"Mother it isn't too late to turn back from the path you were forced on!" Erza said.

"If only it was so easy." She said.

"Also..." He slaps Irene shocking her. "That's for lying about what you said to Erza."

"What was I supposed to tell her? That her own mother abandoned her because she fell into despair?" She said

He hugs her surprising Irene. "Yes. She would have understood you, you think you can't be saved, but it's not too late, i'll save you."

"Alex..." She cries into his shoulder.

But then someone blasted her away and they got shocked, then she got stepped on by Acnologia. "So you can't even do a simple job and instead get all sentimental, how weak!"

He starts to step on her before his foot got stop by Alex's boot as his face was covered in shadows.

Acnologia: You are trying to protect this wretched woman?

Alex looks at him with a glare. "That woman, is my future wife."

"Foolish decision because it's her fault that I lost my Humanity!" Acnologia said.

Alex narrows his eyes. "I don't care what happens to you nobody lays a finger on her."

"Then you will die with her." He transforms into his Dragon form and roars.

"Erza, Wendy, take Irene away from here." Alex told them.

Erza stares at him. "Be safe, father."

She and Wendy helped Irene to her feet and they leave. Acnologia tries to chase after them but Alex blocks his path.

Then Alex slashes him with the sword making a deep cut with blood coming out.

Acnologia roars in pain before retaliating with a swing of his right arm, displacing a large chunk of the ground because of the force. Alex blocks it with his sword and pushes it back.

"This sword is called Dragonslayer, it's a weapon meant to kill dragons." Alex said.

Acnologia's eyes narrow before he takes flight and prepares to use his Etherion Dragon's Roar spell.

Alex avoided it as he charges at him with the berserker armor going to his body. He slashes against Acnologia again making him roar in pain again.

Acnologia then uses his Eternal Flare spell, Alex grunted but he reaches out and grabs his jaw closing it and looks into his eyes with anger.

"Let me tell you something, I fought Onaga the dragon king and survived, so why would I be worried by some wannabe?" Alex said.

"You dare!" Acnologia got angry and used his Dragon's Roar spell again.

Alex got pushed back and a dark aura comes out of him. Erza came to check and saw Alex in his armor carrying his sword.

"Oh no, that armor is corrupting him!" Erza said.

It then goes into berserk and roars with bloodlust. He charges at Acnologia and rips one of his wings off.

Aconologia roared in agony and tried to bite Alex, he grabs his mouth and punches him breaking many of his teeth.

Acnologia screeched in response before reverting to human form. His human form is bloodied as a result of the injuries he sustained in his dragon form.

"Damn it!" He then uses his Power of the End spell. He gathers Magic Power in the palm of his hand, before releasing a blast of Magic similar to a Dragon's Roar.

He shoots it at Alex but to his shock he tanked it without a scratch. "Impossible!"

Alex grabs him by the throat and rips one of his arms off. Armless and bleeding, Acnologia is helpless.

"I'm going to torture you bit by bit." Alex said with a distorted voice.

Acnologia for once in a very long time has felt true fear staring at him in the face.

Suddenly Alex feels Erza hugging from behind.

"Please don't let the darkness of the armor consume you. You're a better man and a loving father so please don't lose yourself, Father!" She said.

He looks at her and the armor comes off as he drops the mage down.

"Father?" Erza looks at him.

"Erza." He hugs her back. "I'm sorry that you had to see that, and for not being there for you."

"I know it's not your fault for being absent for most of my life, my mother told me as much." Erza said.

He smiles at her but then someone came grabbing Acnologia as he screams, they looked to see Kaioh.

"Kaioh!" Alex said.

"What are you doing?" Acnologia said weakly.

"Your too weak so..." He starts to absorb his power.

Erza got alarmed. "He's taking Acnologia's magic!"

He turns into dust as Kaioh holds his arm with the power coming out.

"So you came just to steal his powers." Alex said.

"He's more dangerous than the Black Dragon too..." Erza said.

"Yes, if I had known theres a child of yours that old I would have hunted her down." Kaioh said.

Erza got shocked to hear that but then she felt her father's reaction to Kaioh's words.

Alex got mad. "I won't let you touch her."

"Another time." He vanishes.

Alex calms down. "Erza, take me to your mother."

"Right and father please promise me that you'll be safe because that man terrified me and if they are people like him out there..." She said.

He rubs her head. "The thing most important to me are my family. So I have face him. But i have someone for you to meet later... Your own sister."

"I have a sister?" Erza asked.

He nodded at her. "She'll love you."

The two went to where Irene is with Wendy and Alex carries her bridal style.

Irene looks at Alex and smiles, with him smiling back at her. "I'll protect you this time."

She rests against his chest feeling the warm from all those years ago again.

Note: The arc is done, Zeref and Acnologia are dead, Gabriel had to give Zeref his fairy heart form using the Woldstone from Diablo since Mavis was safe, this time Irene didn't die like in Canon since Alex was her love in this version.
