Toph was relaxing as the war was finally over. She smiled, hearing Sokka get the Oggies cause Aang and Katara finally kissed for real.
She sighed with a smirk. She just helped end a 100-Year war, but she shook a bit. She didn't want to admit it, but that airship fight was the scariest moment of her life. She thought Sokka was going to drop her for sure and he totally would have, but Suki, she came and saved her life.
Toph wondered how she should thank her and she definitely was not using a kiss as thanks. She winced, remembering how she kissed Suki, thinking it was Sokka.
Katara was taking a bath in a spa when Toph came in her bathrobe.
"Hey, Sugar Queen." Toph says.
"Toph, hey, you okay?" Katara asked
"Yeah." Toph says. "I wanted to, um, ask you something."
"What?" Katara asked.
"During the fight, I nearly died. Sokka tried holding me tight, but he was about to get ambushed. Suki saved us and if she ha-adn…" Toph sniffed as Katara put on a robe and walked to her and hugged her.
"I understand. Hey, you were brave to go out there." Katara says. She was surprised Toph was crying. She almost never cried.
"I wanna thank her." Toph says.
"That's nice. But it has to be from the heart." Katara says.
"Okay, thanks, Katara." Toph says.
Toph later finds Suki training alone. Suki noticed.
"Toph?" Suki asked.
"Suki, listen, I just wanted to thank you and I mean it. You really saved me." Toph says.
"Anytime. Wait, were you scared?" Suki asked.
"Yeah, I nearly died." Toph says.
"It's OK to be scared, but you were brave, doing what you did." Suki says.
Toph punched her arm. "That's how I show affection." Toph says.
"Wanna spar?" Suki asked.
"Do you really think you can take on the greatest earthbender?" Toph asked as Suki smirked. They then walk off together.
Meanwhile, Iroh was sipping tea.
"Is he aware that tea is just hot leaf juice?" Sokka asked.
"Dude, no. Just no." Zuko says.
"Young Sokka, so naive. Tea is more than hot leaf juice." Iroh says as there was a big shatter.
"What the?" Aang asked as they walk out
Toph kicked rocks to Suki, who dodged, mainly doing flips as she bounced off two trees and dove in, actually kicking Toph as Toph used some rocks to knock Suki back.
"You actually hit me." Toph says, blood dripping from her mouth. "Nice!"
"See? I'm not so bad." Suki says as they both rush towards each other, but a water whip gets in the middle as they both turn to the others.
"Hey!" Toph says.
