Miruko's enhanced hearing alerted her to the danger as soon as it happened. She heard all the explosions go off around the city nearly simultaneously.
"Fuck what's happened?"
"What are you talking about?" Izuku asked
"I've just heard a fuck ton of explosions. Get ready we might need to fight, Deku" she stated.
"On it"
As soon as he heard the word fight, Izuku activated One For All, allowing the ancient quirk to wreathe his body.
"Remind me, what's the highest percentage you can manage consistently? None of that burst increase shit"
"Twenty-Four percent, I noticed the increase this morning. I think the fight the other day pushed me there" he informed her.
"Okay, I want you to stay between Twenty and Twenty-Two percent unless absolutely necessary. You shouldn't burn out if you're using less than your maximum" she advised.
"Understood Miruko," he said toning back his quirk by two percent.
Running off straight towards the sound of fighting Miruko shouted back, "Let's go! These Villains ain't gonna kick their own asses!"
Izuku smirked and ran after his mentor. The city was a state. People were running around screaming as the monsters paraded the streets, attacking everything in sight. Many Heroes were trying to help tackle the creatures to no avail, this was going to take some serious firepower.
Coming across one of the monstrosities Miruko acted quickly, knowing they weren't alive from the dossier she had been presented after the USJ, she leapt into the air and hit it from a blind side with the heel of her foot. "LUNA FALL!"
"Thank you Miruko!" exclaimed the relieved family, who'd previously been cowering under the beast.
"Don't thank me yet. Get your asses to safety" she barked
A huge explosion ripped through the air causing visible distortion. "FUCK, I'm going over there, you keep looking for civilians to help."
"MIRUKO WAIT!" Izuku screamed at her. She snapped her head round at alarming speeds worried about what could've happened to her intern.
"THE FUCK DID YOU SCREAM LIKE THAT FOR?" she shouted back.
"I learned something new about my quirk last night. I can't lose my teacher so I have to help you," he said unknowingly making the Rabbit Hero blush.
"Be quick about it. What is it?" she asked
"I'm doing it. Gimme a second" he demanded.
Izuku pushed his percentage of One For All up. The lightning arched across his skin. Miruko could smell the tinge of ozone in the air.
"Grab my hand"
Trusting her intern, Miruko obliged. She grasped Deku's hand in her own. In that instant, Deku saw a bright white light flowing into blue then red, green, orange, purple, pink, yellow into his dark green; it flowed off his body and latched onto Miruko.
Miruko's eyes had been shut, however, as she opened them she saw Deku's lightning leave his body and transfer itself over to her. Straight away she felt all her nerves get electrified; the power of his quirk flowed through her. Initially, she panicked as she noticed the electricity fade away from Deku. 'Where has his quirk gone?' she screamed internally
"What's happened? Why do I feel so strong?" Miruko asked too stunned to even curse.
"I figured out I could share my power, so I lent it to you" he smiled back at her.
Her face contorted into one of rage, "YOU FUCKIN' IDIOT, NOW HOW ARE YOU GONNA FIGHT IF I'M USING YOUR QUIRK? YOUR FIGHTING ISN'T REFINED ENOUGH FOR FULL QUIRKLESS FIGHTING"
He simply laughed, further enraging his mentor. Not giving her a chance to go off at him again he explained, "I said share Miruko, I haven't lost the use of my quirk. Look"
Izuku powered back up to 22%, his lightning reappearing around his body. "You have enough to last you all night, if you combine the strength my quirk has with yourself you'll be unstoppable"
"I don't like help, you should know that." she started, extremely pissed off, "I like fuckin' winning with my own strength."
"I know, but technically it is. I just gave you a boost, I left it active so you're gonna be running around with green lightning and frankly insane power" Izuku smirked, he knew what to say to get her to ignore everything she was pissed about. "Miruko"
"Fuck do you want now?"
"Go beat the shit out of all those bastards" he grinned at her.
Miruko grinned back, "Now you're speaking my language. You're good enough to fend for yourself, don't engage unless you have to and prioritise saving lives. I'll do the fighting."
Deku nodded and turned to leave.
"Hey kid! You see the Hero Killer, you either run like hell or tear him limb from limb"
Deku gained a feral grin himself, "You too boss"
Shoto
He and Endeavor had been right next to one of the buildings as it exploded. Rubble had flown everywhere causing a scene straight out of a movie. Shoto had done his best to protect people by sending up one of his huge glaciers.
"Nice work Shoto, I will take care of the Villains, you make sure you watch a real hero at work"
"Yes Father"
Endeavor ran straight at one of the Nomu, sending a burst of fire as he ran. The beast stood unfazed inside the swirling inferno.
'It doesn't feel pain?' Endeavor thought watching it regenerate all the damage he'd caused.
"Regeneration huh?" he said. The beast charged him swinging wildly. Endeavor closed in himself and dodged the strikes; he put his hands on either side of its head and turned the heat up.
"Carbonised cells can't regenerate," he stated dropping the Nomu to the floor unmoving.
"And that Shoto is how a pro does it"
Endeavor turned around and couldn't see his masterpiece anywhere. He checked his phone quickly as it buzzed.
'Sorry Father, I had a distress call in the city. I trust you will take care of the Villains' it read.
'We'll be training extra hard tomorrow for your insolence Shoto' he thought.
Uraraka
She was watching the news at Gunhead's Agency. Ochaco was terrified, two of her good friends were in Hosu along with one of her other classmates.
She'd been spamming both Izuku and Tenya's phones with messages praying for one of them to reply saying they were okay. Her phone buzzed
'Are you okay?' it read, it was from Momo. Ochaco sighed, disappointed it wasn't from one of the men.
'I'm scared they won't come back. How about you?'
'I'm having the same conundrum. I know we are training to be Heroes, but this does not alleviate my concerns'
Ochaco snorted, she'd missed Momo's 'fancy' talk. It grounded her.
'I just have to hope they will be fine'
'I too will yearn for that outcome'
Izuku
Deku was tearing through the streets, lifting up as many passers by as he could, helping them to their feet so they could continue the evacuation.
"TENYA!" he heard a voice shout. Deku immediately changed direction; rounding the corner he watched as a bus was dropped from a significant height, causing yet another explosion in the street.
'Kaachan would love this' he thought. Quickly snapping out of that thought, he leapt backwards as a Nomu fell out of the sky. He glanced up, seeing one with familiar looking wings and one roughly the same size as the one at the USJ.
He felt his blood turn cold at the sight of them. The huge one had just wiped out two pros with a single swing and the other was holding one hostage. What could he do?
"Manual, put out that fire!"
"On it!" replied the Normal Hero
'Wait. That's where Iida interned! Where is he!?'
'Wait... Nomus... Hosu... Villains, NO!' he panicked, 'The Hero Killer...'
Deku came to the realisation that Tenya had done precisely what Miruko had predicted. He was hunting the man that ended his brother's career. Before thinking it through he span around and ran back the way he came, checking every alleyway as he did. He was going to find Tenya, nothing would prevent that.
Miruko
Miruko was in the thick of the fighting. She had multiple Nomu flanking all her sides. She loved it.
"COME AT ME YOU BASTARDS!" She dropped low and using her boosted quirk, flew at the Nomu in front of her. She landed on top of the Nomu's shoulders, her powerful thighs on either side of the Nomu's neck. She smirked knowing without the boost this was game over for the creature, but with it?
"LUNA TIJERAS!" Before the boost, she would've needed to lean back and twist to rip the monster's head off. Thanks to the One For All boost, the battle bunny only needed to squeeze and its head popped off its body.
"Huh, that was much easier" she mused, "Thanks kid"
Endeavor was at the other end of the street fighting off a similar amount, the Number Two and Five Heroes taking on the largest groups, leaving the lower ranks to tackle the weaker Nomu.
"FLASHFIRE FIST!: JET BURN"
"LUNA ARC!"
The two heroes were effectively clearing the street of Nomu leaving a trail of destruction behind them as they worked their way into the middle.
"Endeavor? Fuck are you doing here?" Miruko grunted at him
"Ugh, the bunny, I have come to help put down the Hero Killer, I just happened to be needed here first. Have you seen my intern?"
"I'm not a fuckin' bunny. And no I haven't seen your intern, have you seen mine? I haven't seen him since he shared his power with me" she replied
"Shared his power? Is that the green lightning?"
"Yeah whassit to you?"
"Nothing"
It was something, Endeavor had noticed the increased strength Miruko was exhibiting as well as the overwhelming pressure exuding off her that wasn't coming from her personality. It was raw, unadulterated power. He'd only felt this pressure from All Might before.
"Whatever, I gotta find my intern." she said, "Where is yours from? UA I guess?"
"Yes it is my mas-son, Shoto, he is in Class 1A"
"Midoriya, green hair, also Class 1A"
Endeavor froze. 'The one with power like All Might? He can share it? If I can get my hands on him'
Stopping his train of thought his phone buzzed with a location marker off his masterpiece. It was one of the back alleys of Hosu.
"Why would you send me co-ordinates to a back alley of Hosu, Shoto?" he whispered
Miruko's ears twitched, "Hero Killer" she growled, "He mainly operates in the shadows, I'd be willing to bet Deku is with him too. Fucker's a Villain magnet"
Her eyes went wide. The electricity around her faltered for a second before returning in full force. She'd felt a small slash across her ankle. "ENDEAVOR, WE NEED TO GET THERE NOW! THEY'RE IN SERIOUS TROUBLE" she screamed at him.
"What? How would you know that" he sneered
"Whatever this power share is has given me a portion of his pain. They're getting cut and I know the Hero Killer uses blades" she shouted back.
Endeavor froze yet again, his masterpiece was at risk as well as potentially the secret to his overdue ascension over All Might.
"Let's go"
Iida
Tenya was staring down the blade of the Hero Killer. He quashed his nerves and panic as he ignited his engines, pushing their flames from orange to blue. He screamed as he swung his leg at the Villain aiming to knock him out in one kick. Being much more experienced Stain predicted the trajectory of the attack and leapt over it, clearing Tenya as he did so.
"Ingenium has a brother? Huh," he mused, "In order to let news of me spread, I left that fake alive" he added as he kicked Tenya's shoulder with his spiked boots impaling into the muscle. Stain then stomped downwards driving Iida's face into the concrete beneath them.
Flipping his katana into a reverse grip, the Hero Killer stabbed Tenya in the opposing shoulder, rendering both of the first-year's arms useless. "You're weak" he stated, "Both you and your brother because you are both fake Heroes"
"SHUT UP, stupid Villain. You have paralyzed him from the waist down, he can't work as a Hero anymore because of you. There was no reason for you to have crushed him." Iida paused,
"HE WAS MY HERO. I won't forgive you, bastard. I'm going to kill you"
"A Hero? Maybe you should save the other guy first" Stain pointed at Native, injured and unmoving against the wall, "You use your power for your own selfish desires. You are the furthest from what a Hero should be" He removed the katana from Iida's shoulder, bringing it to his lips where he took a long lick of the blade ingesting the blood.
"That's why you'll die" he said freezing Tenya in place with his quirk. Once again holding the blade in a reverse grip the Hero Killer held it above his own head. "You are an offering to a better world"
Izuku
'Am I too late?'
Deku was sprinting at his current maximum speed through the streets. Damn his stamina to hell, he was going to find and save his friend.
"SHUT UP..."
Deku froze, 'Was that?'
He turned towards an alleyway and ran down it. He used his quirk to put himself on the wall as he pushed from side to side, leaping between the walls. The voices were getting clearer now. Izuku rounded the final corner to be met with a glint of steel hovering over Tenya.
"SMAAASSHH"
His fist hit flush against the Hero Killer's jaw sending him flying backwards away from the younger Iida. Deku landed in front of Tenya protectively.
"M-Midoriya? Is that you? How?" Tenya asked
Deku glanced at his friend, a scowl evident on his face. "What the fuck were you thinking? Going after the Hero Killer all alone. We can worry about that later, for now, I will definitely save you!"
Tenya was shocked by the change in his friend. 'Why is Midoriya swearing now? And where has this confidence come from?'
Stain looked up; he was stunned by the power of the punch and the person who'd delivered it.
'That's the man from his picture. They want this one' he thought.
"You found him too? But how?" Tenya questioned
"I saw it on TV, there were stats. Most of his victims were found where there weren't many people, so I looked in the areas where they weren't many. We need to head back towards the street, we need help from the pros" Izuku replied
"I c-can't move my body, it must be his quirk" Tenya replied, "since he cut me I've been paralyzed"
"That's exactly the kind of quirk he was suspected to have"
'Shit, there's someone else, I can't even pick up Iida and run without leaving this guy to die'
'Stay calm kid, we're gonna get through this' Nana comforted
Iida's rage seeped into his voice, "Midoriya, please don't get involved, this has nothing to do with you"
"What are you saying?" he asked
Seeing this as the perfect moment to test the new Hero in front of him, Stain piped up.
"You showed up to save your friend's life. Even made a big entrance, but I have a duty to kill him and this so-called pro. When he chose to fight me, he guaranteed that one of us would die. So what will you do?" he finished, allowing his fanatical bloodlust to flow towards Deku, causing waves of cold fear to wash over him.
'He's different from those we fought before. His eyes... they have a fanatical devotion inside them'
'If you can't run, at least let people know where you are' Nana advised
Discreetly pulling out his phone and hiding it behind his back, Izuku entered his location details into the Class A group chat and hit send, alerting the whole class to his whereabouts.
'I'll need to stall for time'
"I told you to run away! This has nothing to do with you!" Iida once again shouted at Deku
"If you really believe that, then why are you even trying to become a hero anyway." Izuku's tone darkened along with his facial expressions, "There are plenty of things I need to say to you Iida, but they'll have to wait" he spat, "Of course All Might was right, meddling when you don't have to, is the essence of being a Hero"
With that declaration, he lowered himself into a fighting stance. Stain smiled at this. 'Is he one of them too?'
"Full Cowling: Twenty-Five Percent" Deku shouted, allowing the inferno of One For All to ignite his body. His muscles strained at the increased power, he knew his new limit was Twenty-Four percent without pain, but someone as deadly as Stain needed everything he had.
'You sure?'
'Yes, I have to be'
'Go get him then, I trust in you' Nana smiled
With that, Deku set off, charging towards his opponent. He watched as Stain swung his Katana in almost slow motion comparable to his current speed. 'I can't get cut' Izuku dodged the Katana and the smaller dagger that the Hero Killer had unsheathed to blindside him. Sliding between Stain's legs he dodged both attacks; jumping above the murderer to where he couldn't see him.
"TWENTY-FIVE PERCENT! DETROIIIIT SMAAASHH!" Deku screamed nailing Stain in the top of the head.
'Did it work?' he thought looking at Stain's hunched-over body, only to freeze. 'He cut me and I didn't even notice. Is it really only one graze he needs?'
"You aren't strong enough. It's not that you predicted my moves or anything, you just moved into an area where I couldn't see you. There are limitless false Heroes who are all talk, but I think you're worthy of staying alive. You're different from these two" Stain complimented
The Hero Killer stalked over to Tenya, drawing a blade as he walked. He lifted it high above his head, ready to deliver yet another final strike.
"Wait, Stop you bastard!" Izuku pleaded. "GET AWAY!"
As those words left his mouth, a huge stream of fire brightened the alleyway causing Stain to have to leap out of the way. "Someone else to get in my way. It's been full of distractions"
"I need more details in times like this Midoriya. I was almost too late to stop him" Todoroki announced, his left side aflame.
"You too Todoroki?" Iida questioned
"How'd you get here? Wait, that's your left side?" said a stunned Izuku
"Good question, it took me a while to figure out your message. Next time try to send more than just your location, but you aren't one to send cryptic information without a reason, are you?" he asked rhetorically.
He pushed his right foot to the ground extending a wave of ice across the floor lifting Native and Izuku out of the way, "I figured you were in trouble and asking for help. Everything's okay now, the pro Heroes will be here any second"
Mid explanation, Shoto ran towards the Hero Killer, unleashing another wave of fire towards the murderer while the angle of the ice pillar caused both Midoriya and Native to slide towards him.
'Shit, my quirk is gonna run out soon for at least one of them' Stain thought after skillfully evading the blast.
"You're just what they said you were. But you won't be taking any more lives Hero Killer" Shoto announced standing protectively over his two friends and the pro.
"Todoroki! You can't let him get your blood, I think he controls his enemies by swallowing it" Izuku informed, "That's how he got us!"
"Ingesting blood to prevent movement? That explains the blades" Shoto dropped into a fighting stance, "All I've gotta do is keep my distance"
At that moment he dropped downwards his eyes momentarily diverted away from Stain who used that moment to fling a knife towards Todoroki. It grazed the side of his face drawing blood as it skimmed away.
Stain used the distraction to leap into the air towards Shoto, "You have good friends Ingenium! Or you did!" He brought his other knife across in a slash meant to cut open Todoroki's chest but was quickly intercepted by a small ice pillar blocking the attack. Looking unfazed, Stain looked upwards revealing his katana spinning in the air.
'His sword! He threw it at the same time as the knife!' Shoto panicked.
The Hero Killer's distraction tactics were paying off, he grabbed Shoto and pulled him in close ready to lick the open wound on his face, allowing him to freeze the young Hero in place. His tongue was mere centimetres from completing his goal before Todoroki surrounded himself in a miniature inferno forcing him back.
Giving him no time to recover Shoto sent another wave of ice towards the man, who again evaded the attack, grabbing the sword while he was airborne using it to cut the pillar in two.
Tenya was watching his friend fight to save him and his rage was once again at the forefront of his mind, "Just stop it! Why are you doing this?" he forced out, "His fight is with me! I inherited my brother's name, I should stop him. The fight with the Hero Killer is mine!"
Todoroki cut off his wave of fire and dropped to the ground to push out a huge glacier of ice covering the alleyway. "You're Ingenium now? Strange, the Ingenium I knew before never had that look on his face"
Tenya's face quickly changed into one of bewilderment, knowing his brother wouldn't have approved of his actions.
"You've got a dark side, nice to know my family isn't the only one" Shoto added.
"Be careful Todoroki" Izuku strained.
'Wait?' he thought, 'I can move?'
Stain used his katana to slice apart the glacier erected by Shoto, "You blocked your field of vision against an opponent who is faster than you. Rookie mistake!"
"Come get me then!" Todoroki challenged, igniting his left side, for it to be quickly extinguished by two smaller blades embedding themselves into his arm.
"You're good kid!" Stain praised, "Unlike him"
He continued his descent with his katana poised to drive right into Native's unprotected side. "Watch out!" Shoto shouted.
Izuku had used the extra time to ensure his body was able to move again and in a flash he was in the air, pushing off the wall; grabbing the Hero Killer as he moved. His lightning was around his body aggressively arching off.
"I don't know why, but I'm able to move now!" Izuku shouted
"So he has a time limit?" Shoto asked
"No, that kid should've been the last to be freed, I still can't move a muscle" Native replied.
As he was getting his back raked across the wall Stain thought to himself, 'He must be type O' before quickly slinging Izuku off of him.
"MIDORIYA DODGE!" Shoto announced sending a lethally tipped ice wave at the killer.
"He swallows a person's blood to freeze them and I was frozen last, I have three ideas why. His quirk could be less effective the more it's used, the amount ingested could play into how long one is frozen for, or it's based on blood type" Izuku said recovering at Shoto's side.
"If it's the last one, my blood type is B" Native responded
"I'm type A" Tenya added.
"Well done! You've figured out my quirk! Bravo! But, tell me Heroes how is that going to help you?" Stain challenged.
"He's right, it doesn't really help us that much to know how his quirk works," Izuku said.
Holding on to his bleeding right arm Todoroki replied, "I thought we could hurry and carry those two of here but it's no good. He's too fast, he can dodge ice and fire. Our best bet is to hold off until the pros get here"
Izuku steeled himself, he wasn't happy with Shoto's idea, "No, you know you've already lost way too much blood, I'll distract him while you support me from the back"
One For All shot through his body, and red vein-like strands appeared on his skin before fading away into his usual lightning. "Twenty-Five Percent" he muttered. Todoroki looked over at his friend, feeling the intense waves of power flowing from Izuku.
Deku put his hand on Shoto's injured arm and pushed some of his power into the dual quirk user.
Miruko
She was running at full speed, bouncing off walls frantically searching for the work-study students and Izuku, who she knew were fighting the Hero Killer. The borrowed power was still swirling around her, it had been an experience, having to relearn all her jumps and combos with this serious increase in strength.
Mid jump she felt the power ebb away, leaving her feeling slightly empty and weaker. This caused her to misjudge her next jump and she had to be rescued by Endeavor, who caught her just before she would've hit the pavement below.
"I didn't realise you were that incompetent" the Flame Hero chastised
"I'll fucking fight you right here and show you incompetence" she spat back, "No, the power I had just left me, which means they're in trouble. I have no idea what scenario could cause the power to leave"
"My Masterpiece..." Endeavor muttered, Miruko's sensitive ears picking up on the comment, leaving her disgusted with her fellow Hero.
"We need to hurry" she stressed
Deku
Shoto felt the warmth of the ancient quirk flood his body. All of his cells felt electrified like his whole body and quirk had been energised. He felt his quirk factor grow in size, his flames turned from a gentle orange to a turbulent blue colour; the same could be said of his ice, to compensate for the drastic increase in the temperature of his fire, the levels of cold his right side could reach dropped to a new record low for the youngest Todoroki.
Glancing over at Deku, "You want us to take a pretty big risk." he started, "Okay, we can protect them!"
Deku stood up ready to fight and defend his friends and comrades, "Thank you Todoroki and be careful I've given you a power boost, I figured it out yesterday, your fire will be hotter and your ice colder, don't go overboard."
"Two against one huh? This fight won't be easy" Stain said to himself
Sending out glacier levels of ice at the same power he would normally use for a small icicle, Todoroki had a moment to think. 'Iida, I know the resentment you carry, I've wanted to say something since your brother was attacked. That day I told her about my life with my father and who I have become. She cried and apologised, and she forgave me, faster than I ever imagined.
My father is a scumbag, but one with the skills and judgement of the number two hero and I can acknowledge that. He changed everything for me, with two short sentences, he made me realise that my quirk and my destiny were my own'
During these thoughts, Deku was darting in and out attacking and evading the attacks brought on by the Hero Killer. Todoroki dropped the ice and sent forth the largest wave of fire any quirk user has ever produced. Throwing his left shoulder forwards, it emitted from his hand and was bright blue. The alleyway lit up as if it were the middle of the day with the sun glaring down on them.
This flame was seen across the entirety of Hosu, with the whole city being thrust momentarily into daylight.
"What the fuck was that?" Miruko asked, stunned by the sudden light.
"I know those flames, they're my son's" Endeavor said with a smirk. 'That fire, it's blue, I've never made it to levels that hot before, how has he done it? Is it a quirk awakening?'
"They weren't that strong at the sports festival" Miruko commented, "So either this fight is dangerous enough for a quirk awakening to have happened or Deku's new ability has a hand in it"
"Either way, this is a good thing" Endeavor finished, upping his speed as they now had a direction they knew to look in.
Deku looked away unable to bear the amount of light in the alley, getting his leg cut in the process. 'This is bad, his fighting style has completely changed!' he thought
Todoroki had to actively cool his flames off for his next attack, bringing them to a comparatively cool 2000 degrees, "MIDORIYA!" he shouted, worried for his friend.
"You have to run" Tenya groaned averting Shoto's attention, "I can't watch this" he finished with tears in his eyes.
Shoto growled, "You wanna make your brother proud?" causing Tenya to pause as he fired off another glacier as Deku was frozen again.
"Then stand up and be Ingenium! Become the Hero he wanted you to be!" Shoto finished with a shout, letting force another colossal blast of fire.
'I am Ingenium and I will defeat you' Tenya's words rang through his own head as Stain's quirk wore off allowing him to move again.
'Can I call myself a Hero? My friends are protecting me; they're bleeding for me' he thought. 'You spoke the truth Hero Killer, these two are different from me. I'm immature; I can't hold a candle to them, but still'
Stain rushed Todoroki dodging his wave of ice, "Ice and Fire! Hasn't anyone ever told you, you rely on your quirk too much? It makes you a careless fighter"
The Hero Killer had evaded the subsequent blast of fire and had his katana poised to cut off Shoto's left arm. The secondary effect of One For All in his system allowed Shoto to move at much faster speeds letting him back off enough from the strike to give Ingenium the time to block the attack.
"RECIPRO BURRSSSTTTT!" Tenya shouted, his flames turned blue as he overcharged his engines, smashing his leg into the blade, snapping it in two; saving Todoroki's arm. His second leg came around in a roundhouse kick sending the Hero Killer flying backwards.
"You're free too? Guess his quirk isn't as great as I thought it was" Todoroki remarked.
"Todoroki, Midoriya, this has nothing to do with you. I apologise" Tenya said
"Fuck sake, not this again" Izuku swore
"I'm okay, neither of you will shed any more blood for me"
Stain was watching, holding his broken katana, blood dripping through his fingers. "It's no use trying to pretend now, you're still a fake. Someone's true nature doesn't change in mere minutes. You are exactly the type of person that has ruined what Heroes stand for!"
Shoto growled, "You're a fundamentalistic lunatic. Iida, don't listen to this bastard's heresy"
"No, he's absolutely right, I cannot call myself a Hero, not right now. I have to earn that back, either way, I'm not backing down. If I give up now, the Hero Ingenium will be truly dead." Tenya announced
"PATHETIC" Stain shouted as he lunged towards Ingenium and Shoto. The latter pushed his comrade out of the way and unleashed another blast of fire aimed at incapacitating the Hero Killer.
"Idiots! It's me and the guy in the white armour he's after!" Native shouted
"I don't think he'd let me run even if I wanted to" Shoto snapped back holding the wave of fire steady. Quickly dropping his fire, Shoto switched to his favoured right side and began sending waves of glaciers in quick succession after Stain, each one positioned to leave him immobilised.
'This power is incredible! I barely feel like I'm using my quirk' Shoto thought in awe of the power that he now knew Izuku wielded.
In the midst of these thoughts, Stain was slicing the glacier into fragments and leaping before the new platforms he was creating for himself. All Deku could do was watch as the Hero Killer seemingly made Todoroki's attacks seem like a personally crafted stage and Stain was the main ballerina, expertly jumping and spinning to evade.
'There has to be something I can do!' he thought
'Well unless you can suddenly move there isn't much you can do right now kid' Nana replied
'I need this quirk to wear off'
Still pushing out levels of ice that would usually render him frostbitten Shoto thought, 'His quirk on its own isn't actually too strong, he needs to get in close to use it and it doesn't last long. That must make it difficult for him to fight multiple opponent's at once.'
Shoto rapidly switched to his left side as he span around ready once again to face the Villain.
'He's desperate, he wants to kill Iida and this pro before the other Heroes get here'
"Todoroki! Freeze my leg! Just don't plug the exhaust" Iida begged, Shoto simply stared at his friend in disbelief. Stain once again used Shoto's distraction to launch a dagger towards his face.
Tenya saw this happen and using his enhanced senses he leapt in front of Todoroki blocking the knife with his shoulder as he moved.
"NO IIDA!" Deku shouted as he lurched forwards realising he could move.
As Iida fell Stain threw another dagger into his forearm, leaving his one arm completely useless
"DO IT HURRY!" Tenya shouted
Across the alley, Deku stood up gingerly, his leg still weak from the slash the Hero Killer had given him.
"One For All: Thirty Percent" he murmured. His muscles strained against his costume as they enlarged slightly with the power coursing through them. Shoto felt Deku power up across their shared connection.
He smirked as he froze Iida's exhausts, they were fighting at full strength again.
"It's done" he announced, letting off another stream of fire to keep Stain at bay. Tenya used his teeth to rip out the dagger from his forearm. 'Thank you Todoroki, I will fight with or without my arms'
Tenya's engines over-torqued instantly, the fire coming out of the exhausts was a white hot blue.
"RECIPRO EXTENDDDDD!" Tenya roared as he prepared his ultimate move, launching into the sky; leaving a sonic boom in his wake. He angled himself for a vicious kick into the Hero Killer's side.
At that same moment, Deku pushed off the ground leaving his own sonic boom behind. He drew back his arm ready to punch.
"SMMAAASSHHHH!" he yelled as he put everything he could use into the punch, driving his fist into the jaw of the Villain.
Both Ingenium and Deku made contact at the same time leaving Stain a bloody mess in the air, only half conscious. As the punch connected, Deku felt a sharp pain in his right arm.
'You've injured your arm by going over your safe limit. Again...' came Nana's voice in his head.
Watching as all three of them started their descent. 'They've managed to land two solid attacks. Now it's my turn!' Shoto thought.
He increased his heat to its absolute maximum on his left side and then thanks to the One For All boost he was able to push that limit even higher. Shoto condensed the heat into a single ball of fire that was chaotically spinning in his hand.
"SUPERNOVA EXPLOSION!" he shouted as he threw the superheated ball at Stain, while also extending an ice ramp to bring his friends back to safety.
The heat from his attack once again turned the alleyway from night into the equivalent of midday; this also had the consequence of melting the ramp at a slightly slower rate than his friends were travelling down it. Ingenium and Deku smacked their heads on the end of the ramp as they finally finished sliding.
Not giving them any time to recover Shoto called out, "Stand up, keep fighting"
The trio looked upwards to find Stain unconscious atop one of Shoto's many glaciers. The alley could be mistaken for the Antarctic with how many glaciers coated the walls and floor.
"He has to be down after all that" commented Izuku
"Let's restrain him and get him to the street" Shoto replied
After Stain's quirk wore off on Native, he offered to carry Izuku as thanks for saving him, having noticed his bum leg from the attack.
Shoto finished tying up the Hero Killer and dragged him to the street; out of the alleyway with Tenya in tow.
"Right, let's get him to the police as fast as we can" Native commanded.
"The FUCK are you doing being carried huh?" Miruko roared at Izuku hopping over to him and planting a foot firmly in his face.
"OWWW" he shouted out, being knocked off Native's back.
"Miruko? Why are you here?" Shoto asked
"Endeavor was with me, but he ran off to fight some more of those Nomu bastards. One of us had to come and take down the Hero Killer but I see you've already done that" she smirked.
"It wasn't easy" Izuku replied
"I can see that you idiot" she shot back, fury present in her voice. "I take it you shared your power with him?" she added pointing towards Shoto.
Izuku nodded, "Yeah, how did you know?"
"Cuz it nearly got me fuckin' killed, I lost the power mid-jump and almost fell out the sky. And he's got engines on his legs and I know you don't produce enough light to change it to FUCKING DAYTIME!"
"I... May have overdone it a bit" Shoto defended.
"My apologies Miruko, it is my fault they had to fight. I got caught and they fought on my behalf" Tenya tried
"You got caught huh?" she asked rhetorically with a furious glare at Iida, "So you're telling me you didn't fucking go looking for that monster? That after he crippled your brother, you decided to be the bigger person and leave catching the Hero Killer to the experienced pros? Don't bullshit me, I don't appreciate being lied to. Especially when I saw you earlier and you had murder in your eyes"
"You went looking for that bastard Iida?" said Todoroki with a shocked expression gracing his face.
"Wanna tell him the truth kid or should I?" Miruko replied now very pissed off
"I wanted to bring him to justice so that nobody else has to suffer what I have"
"Fuck off..." Izuku breathed out, "I heard you Iida" he whispered, "You told Stain you were going to kill him."
"I-It was for Tensei..." Iida trailed off
"I don't think Ingenium would want his little brother to die for him" Miruko snarked
"WATCH OUT!" Native screamed as a flying Nomu descended on the group. It gripped Deku's shoulders, digging its talons into the muscle and carrying him off into the air.
"MIDORIYA!/DEKU!" shouted Iida, Todoroki and Miruko as they could only watch as their friend was abducted.
Stain was conscious again for the attempted abduction. 'I won't let you get him man-child' he thought. Stain leapt into action slicing his bonds with a hidden knife; noticing and licking up some of the blood that had fallen out of the Nomu. It froze in the air, unable to flap its wings to keep up the flight.
As he ran Stain roared, "The word Hero has lost all meaning in this society, it's overrun with fakes and criminals like you with ridiculous dreams." Stain sprung up and drove his final knife into the brain of the Nomu, killing it and saving Deku.
As the beast crashed to the floor, Stain held the back of Deku's Hero costume, preventing grievous injury. "You must all be purged"
Deku looked round in shock to find his saviour was the Hero Killer. Native looked on in terror as he allowed the young man to be knocked off his back.
Shigaraki
"Hey! What the hell? This is not fair! Why'd he have to kill my Nomu and why is that kid always here?" Shigaraki whined. Throwing his head back he growled, "I'm so mad, I don't even know what to say"
The Decay user started to claw at his neck, "Why do things never go my way?"
Down Below
By this time other pros had arrived on the scene, being sent that way by Endeavor as he deemed them unfit to combat the monsters. They saw what was happening in front of them and dropped into a fighting stance.
"Be on your guard, we've got a fight on our hands" one shouted
"Why are you all standing around like fools? The Villain must've flown this way right?" Endeavor challenged
"You alright?" someone asked the Flame Hero
"Mostly. Things got a little rough at the end" he replied. Endeavor squinted his eyes to get a better look at why multiple pros had frozen. "Wait, don't tell me that man is..."
Stain had his palm firmly pressed on Deku's back, preventing any movement, his manic strength proving too much for the One For All successor. He turned his head at the sound of Endeavor's voice with a wild look in his eyes.
"Endeavor" he growled.
The Flame Hero responded by igniting his arm and preparing an ultimate move.
Miruko's ears twitched as she felt the sudden increase in temperature. She whipped her head around towards the Number Two and shouted, "Wait you fuckin' idiot, my intern is over there. I'd rather he not be flame grilled. We need a plan"
The Hero Killer had risen to his feet, turning around as his mask fell off revealing a skeletal-looking face without a nose. The sight and feel of the murderous intent rolling off the man froze Deku to his bone.
"YOU FALSE HERO!" he yelled. The air in the street chilled in spite of the serious firepower Endeavor was holding onto. Both Pros and Interns alike were unable to move as they felt the sheer pressure of Stain's fanaticism wash over them.
"I'll make this right. These streets must run with the blood of hypocrites! RAGHHH, HERO! I will reclaim that word!" he continued, stomping towards the group of pros. "COME ON! JUST TRY AND STOP ME YOU FAKES!"
The pressure forced even Endeavor to take a step back. 'I've never felt anything like this before. What the fuck is this?' he questioned
"THERE IS ONLY ONE MAN I'LL LET KILL ME, HE IS A TRUE HERO. ALL MIGHT IS WORTHY!" With the finishing of that sentence, the aura began to increase, becoming an ocean of power preventing anyone from doing anything other than feeling the inescapable fear emanating from within a primal part of their brains.
Then suddenly it vanished without explanation. Stain had passed out still standing, his broken ribs puncturing his lung.
"I think... he's out cold" Endeavor managed to get out.
"Imma say what everyone is thinkin', WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?" Miruko shouted
"I-I don't know" one of the pros replied
Tenya and Shoto both dropped to the ground, glad to be free of the fear that was just held over them. Izuku was still frozen on the ground next to the Nomu corpse behind Stain.
'Why couldn't I fight?' he thought
'That was unpleasant' Nana replied
'What was that? At the end.'
'I've only felt fear like that once, but it's not up to me to tell you that story yet. You need a talk with Toshi about him' came the dark response.
With that Izuku lost consciousness, the blood loss finally getting to him as the adrenaline wore off.

SO I'M BACK! SORRY FOR THE TIME BETWEEN UPLOADS, BOTH MY MOTHER AND GRANDMA HAVE BEEN IN HOSPITAL SO I'VE BEEN A BIT TOO BUSY TO BE ABLE TO FIND THE TIME TO WRITE THIS. IT MAY BE A LITTLE RUSHED, BUT I WANTED TO GET OUT ANOTHER CHAPTER.
