~~Hello, readers, I'm back with a new chapter.

Pokémon and Assassination Classroom don't belong to me.

I only own my original characters.~~

It was still early morning at Kunigigaoka Junior High School.

"Sioku, do you have any hobbies?" asked Sensei.

"Yes, sir," I answered while opening my bag.

I then pulled out all three of my Pokéballs.

"Okay, everyone, come on out," I commanded after pressing each button.

Oshawott, Lilipup, and Purrloin emerged from their Pokeballs.

They explored the new area with curiosity.

Sensei gasped in awe as he caught sight of my three small creatures in the room.

"Pardon me, Sioku, but where did you get those animals? Also, what exactly are they?" he asked.

I smiled joyfully at him.

"These animals are called Pokemon. All Pokemon have special powers. Oshawott is a water type, Lilipup is a normal type, and Purrloin is a dark type. People can keep Pokemon as pets and train them to battle. Trainers can carry up to six Pokemon with them at a time when they travel. I'm just starting out on my Pokemon journey. During this journey, I'll be battling the eight gym leaders to earn their badges in Unova. Earning these badges will grant me permission to enter the Unova Pokemon league. A Pokemon league is a group of all the toughest trainers gathered in one place. I might travel to other regions to compete in other Pokemon leagues," I explained.

"Thank you, Sioku, I really appreciate all of the information. I'm sure you'll be a great Pokemon trainer. They already seem very attached to you," Sensei responded.

"I agree, and there is something else about me that I should tell you. I was born with a special healing ability called cell activation. It allows me to restore a person or animal's injuries by touching and focusing my energy on them," I said.

"Wow, Sioku, that is an interesting ability. I would like to see it in action one day," Sensei replied.

"I would be honored to show you how my healing power works," I added with a dreamy smile.

"That's the spirit, Sioku," said the teacher as he smiled back.

I watched happily as all three of my Pokemon continued to explore the classroom.

I'm glad to see you looking happier, Sioku," Sensei said warmly.

"I wouldn't have been able to cheer up so easily without you," I replied with love.

"Teaching my students and making sure that they are happy are exactly what I'm here for," Sensei added.

I opened up my Pokeballs and commanded. "Oshawott, Lilipup, Purrloin, return."

All three Pokémon came running toward me and let themselves get pulled inside their ball.

My friendship with Sensei had only blossomed since I opened up to him about my life.

"Sioku, you may sit wherever you want," said Sensei.

His welcoming presence helped me stay relaxed.

"Thank you, sir," I replied as I stood up.

I then situated myself at the closest desk to Sensei's

Sitting near him made me feel more secure in his classroom.

A long period of silence passed by.

Much to my annoyance, I saw Julie walk through the door.

Just looking at her made me cringe.

The joy that I felt around Sensei had vanished instantly.

I was trapped in a prison of fear once again.

"Welcome back, Julie," greeted Sensei.

Julie ignored him and proceeded to situate herself.

"That was rude of her," I thought with a frown.

She sneakily dragged a chair next to the file cabinet and sat down.

Once situated, Julie stared at me like a hawk to its prey.

"Listen up, Sioku, it doesn't matter how close you sit to your pitiful excuse for a teacher. He can't save you from everything," she said bluntly.

Hearing Julie talk about my teacher like that only made me dislike her even more.

I glared daggers at Julie.

"You don't know anything about Sensei, Mis Julie. Quit trying to tear him down," I replied roughly.

"You don't have a right to give orders," Julie argued.

"Whatever," I said with a huff.

Sensei calmly approached the front of my desk.

I was relieved to see his friendly face again and started to calm down.

"Don't worry, Sioku, I'll be here for you as long as I'm alive. Nothing or no one will ever come between us," he said softly.

The soothing sound of his voice helped me relax almost instantly.

"Thank you, Sensei," I replied with a small smile.

In the midst of our conversation, the door opened to reveal a group of students walking in.

Many conversations were going on at once.

I watched with curiosity as the other kids took their seats.

Sensei moved to the front of the classroom.

"Good morning, everyone," he greeted.

"Good morning, sir," the class replied in unison.

As soon as the class went quiet, Sensei explained that all of us must assassinate him by the end of the year in order to win a huge amount of money.

I stared at the teacher with a shocked expression.

All of the students except me cheered excitedly in response to the award.

He also claimed to be responsible for a portion of the moon's destruction.

I sat still with a look of disbelief as I listened.

"Is he serious?" I whispered to myself.

The thought of killing Sensei felt wrong to me in every way.

That goal absolutely disgusted me since the kind-hearted teacher and I had just became friends.

Assassinating Sensei would be the same as ending our beautiful friendship just to get money.

I didn't care to be greedy or have any involvement in his future assassination.

Another teacher named Mr. Carasuma listed and explained Sensei's abilities such as his mach 20 speed and tentacle regeneration.

I was fascinated by Sensei's incredible abilities.

In the midst of Sensei taking attendance, many rounds of bullets came flying at him from all directions.

I jumped at the unexpected loud noises.

I looked around to find everyone else in the class pointing a rifle at Sensei and opening fire.

Fortunately, I didn't see or hear Sensei freak out during the chaos.

He just dodged the bullets with ease which amazed me.

The sound of metal flying everywhere frightened me, but I refused to show my fear in front of everyone.

Julie didn't need another reason to punish me.

I inconspicuously hid under my desk and curled up into a ball.

All three of my Pokémon heard the commotion and emerged from their Pokéballs.

They surrounded me in a protective manner.

"Thanks, guys," I whispered.

They nuzzled me gently in return.

My Pokémon and I remained still as we waited for the noise to stop.

Nobody seemed to notice that my chair was empty since they were too busy trying to kill the teacher.

I was surprised when Julie didn't see me disappear from her sight.

The other students then helped Sensei clean up their mess.

Sensei told everybody that discharging guns was no longer allowed in the classroom.

Right when the coast was clear, I slowly popped out from underneath my desk.

Sensei gasped suddenly as he caught sight of my Pokémon and me.

He followed his protective instinct and decided to check on us.

A feeling of embarrassment instantly washed over me.

My cheeks heated up as I trembled.

I slumped down in the chair and covered my face.

My Pokémon sat down under the desk to stay hidden from my classmates.

"Hold on a minute, boys and girls," said Sensei as he moved toward me.

The other students began to talk quietly amongst themselves.

I looked away from him and bowed my head anxiously.

"Oh no... I'm so sorry, Sensei. Please don't be mad at me," I pleaded sadly.

Sensei leaned on me in a comforting way.

"It's okay, Sioku, I don't have a reason to be mad. I was just concerned about you. Are you and your Pokémon all right?" he replied smoothly.

"Yes, sir, we're perfectly fine. I was afraid of you getting hurt by all those bullets," I answered fearfully.

"Don't worry, Sioku, your classmates weren't shooting real bullets at me. They were only BB's," Sensei assured.

I felt safe and secure in Sensei's relaxing presence.

Also, I was glad to see that Sensei didn't have a single scratch on him.

"Oh, thank goodness," I whispered in relief.

"I'm just glad to know that you and your classmates are safe," the teacher said calmly.

"I apologize for disrupting your class," I replied remorsefully.

"You didn't disrupt anything at all, Sioku," Sensei added before walking away.

He then returned to his place at the front of the room.

I grinned dreamily while watching him.

"Excuse me, sir, what's going on?" asked a boy with long blue hair.

"Everything is okay, Nagisa. Sioku was just surprised by the assassination attempt," answered the teacher.

"Why was that girl hiding underneath her desk?" the boy, now known as Nagisa, continued while pointing at me.

"Sioku was just protecting herself," Sensei answered.

"She seems a bit shy," Nagisa pointed out.

"Sioku should get used to you guys in no time," Sensei assured.

The sound of Sensei's voice kept a firm grip on my attention.

My mind finally got a chance to wander away from Julie.

The teacher then shifted his focus back to me.

"Sioku, please stand up and introduce yourself to the class," he said.

I stood up slowly and faced the class.

"Hello, everyone, my name is Sioku Marie. I am a Pokémon trainer from the Unova Region," I said.

All three of my Pokémon slowly crawled out from underneath my desk.

The other students gasped in awe while staring at the tiny creatures.

Oshawott playfully nudged Lilipup with its nose.

Lilipup growled at Oshawott with irritation.

"Both of you, knock it off," I ordered sternly.

The two Pokémon looked up at me in response.

"I apologize for my Pokémon's behavior. Lilipup has little dog complex," I said remorsefully.

"That's all right," replied Sensei.

"Hey, Sioku, are those creatures your Pokémon?" asked Nagisa.

"They sure are, Pokémon are different from regular animals because they have special powers. They can also evolve into bigger versions of themselves," I explained with a smile.

Everybody seemed fascinated by my explanation about Pokémon.

Before our conversation could continue, Julie rose from her seat with a glare fixed on me.

The whole room suddenly fell silent in that moment.

All eyes were now on Julie.

"Does Mis Julie always have to be the center of attention wherever she is?" I thought with a look of annoyance.

"Sioku Marie, put those Pokémon away this instant. You know better than to let them out in class," she said sternly.

"Actually, my Pokémon came out on their own. They were just worried about me," I protested.

"Don't argue with me, Sioku! Return them right now!" Julie hollered.

"Yes, ma'am," I replied quietly.

I opened up the Pokéballs and commanded, "Oshawott, Lilipup, Purrloin, return."

The Pokémon obeyed my orders without resistance and disappeared into their Pokeballs.

I sat back down in my seat and sighed heavily.

Sensei then began to lecture the other students about the flaws in their attempted assassination.

I listened to the lecture with both interest and growing love for his lively voice.

During the lecture, I heard Nagisa whispering to a female student.

A few hours passed by as the teacher explained the rules and regulations of his class.

After the lecture, Sensei instructed us to line up in front of the door.

Most of my classmates struck up conversations as they did so.

I stood in line behind Nagisa.

"Okay, everyone, let's move out," urged Sensei as he took the lead.

My classmates and I followed our teacher out of the classroom.

Sensei led us across a short walkway and into another building.

I scanned the area with curiosity as we entered.

There were desktop computers neatly set up on rows of tables.

I sat down at a table near the door.

Julie sneakily pulled up a chair and situated herself next to the file cabinet.

Her death stare pierced through my soul like a knife.

I shrugged it off as best as I could and stared at the monitor in front of me.

Much to my surprise, Nagisa took a seat next to mine.

At the same time, I was happy to see the blue haired boy again.

I sensed a peaceful aura around Nagisa.

"Hello, Nagisa," I greeted shyly.

"Hi, Sioku, why do you act so shy around everyone except our teacher?" Nagisa replied with a concerned expression.

A light blush came to my cheeks.

"I haven't been able to talk to people without them rejecting me," I answered nervously.

"Why would people reject you?" Nagisa continued.

"I've never been able to make any friends. Throughout elementary school, both kids and adults have labeled me as weird because I keep to myself most of the time. They would avoid me like a contagious disease instead of giving me a chance. The kids would also call me names such as loner, crybaby, and weirdo," I explained.

"That doesn't sound right at all. Everybody deserves to have a friend no matter who they are," Nagisa said sympathetically.

"Thank you, Nagisa," I replied graciously.

"Besides, I don't see or sense anything wrong with you. I want to learn more about you," he added.

Nagisa's kind words brought a feeling of warmth to me that I had never felt before.

My heart started to race with joy.

"I want to learn more about you as well," I said with a smile.

I was too busy being graced by Nagisa's calming presence to remember that Julie was still watching my every move.

The fact that Nagisa made an effort to talk to me was a true miracle.

I had never felt happier at school.

Sensei took attendance again as soon as everybody got situated in their seats.

"Okay, boys and girls, please create a profile on your computers and log in. Then begin working on the typing program located in the desktop menu," he instructed.

"Yes, sir," the class responded in unison.

I quickly created my profile, then curiously scrolled through the menu.

Everything was going well until I hovered my cursor over a familiar title: Type to Learn.

My breath caught in my throat as I gasped shakily.

Just reading that title again made my heart drop.

"Why in the heck do I have to use this terrible program again?" I thought.

I froze in terror as memories of that dreaded program came flooding into my mind like rushing water.

The female robotic voice echoed in my head loud and clear.

I clicked on the introduction video and watched it anxiously.

The short video depicted a rocket ship launching into space.

Chills rapidly crawled up my spine as soon as the video ended.

I tried to shake the fear off but to no avail.

That monotonous typing tutorial sounded just as frightening as ever.

Unfortunately, being in the same room as Nagisa and Sensei didn't ease my mind in the slightest.

A wave of rapid chills suddenly washed over my body.

I went into a full blown panic attack.

Nagisa noticed my uneasy expression and looked at me.

"Hey, Sioku, are you all right?" he asked softly.

I only shook my head.

"What's going on? Can I help you in any way?" the boy continued in a gentle voice.

Nagisa was only met with silence.

I sat completely still with my head bowed.

A flashback entered my mind, and I couldn't push it away.

~Flashback to Fourth Grade~

My class and I had just entered the computer lab.

After taking our seats, we were asigned to work on Type to Learn.

I sat next to Julie's daughter Mira who was also a bully.

Not wanting to tick off Julie, I reluctantly logged into my profile.

The introduction video played before I could start working.

Hearing the typing tutorial automatically sent me into full-on panic mode.

My heart pounded rapidly in my chest.

Chills covered my body at an alarming rate.

I bowed my head while desperately trying to control my heavy breathing.

Julie caught sight of me not typing and flung herself out of her chair.

She stomped over to my seat in a fit of rage.

"Sioku Marie! Get to work right now! You're wasting valuable class time!" she screamed in my ear.

Julie's yelling immediately snapped me out of my panic attack.

I gasped deeply as I lifted my head.

"I'm sorry, mis Julie," I said brokenly.

Julie roughly grabbed the collar of my sweater and yanked me toward her.

"I don't want to hear your pathetic apology! Get busy," she demanded.

"Yes, ma'am," I replied quietly.

Julie sighed heavily and walked back to her chair.

"You're such a little baby, Sad Sioku. Normal kids don't freak out over silly typing programs," Mira commented.

~End Flashback~

My breathing started to increase in speed as I trembled violently.

Nagisa's eyes drooped with sadness at the sight of me in distress.

The boy firmly placed his hands on my shoulders.

I felt his touch but didn't respond.

My intense fear prevented me from reacting to him.

"Hey, Sioku, this is Nagisa talking to you. Please tell me what's bothering you," he said calmly.

I jumped and let out a nervous yelp.

"Sioku? What's wrong?" Nagisa asked frantically.

Before I could answer his question, Julie rose from her chair and glared down at Nagisa.

"What's her problem?" he wondered out loud.

"Take your hands off of her. I'll handle this," she demanded.

Nagisa slowly removed his hands from my shoulders and kept a sharp eye on Julie.

Julie roughly grabbed me by the arm.

I winced at the stinging pain in my arm.

"Sioku Marie, quit acting like a baby. You are in middle school now. Sixth graders don't freak out over computer programs," she said sternly.

I looked up at her with a blank expression.

"You're wrong if you think that dumb mutant is going to save you," Julie taunted.

I felt my blood boil at her ruthless comment.

My cheeks heated up with fuming anger.

"Don't call him that, Mis Julie," I growled.

Nagisa watched the scene with an icy glare fixed on Julie.

"First, quit talking trash about our teacher. Second, do you have any compassion at all? This poor girl is clearly in distress," he interrupted harshly.

"Shut your mouth, kid," Julie snapped back.

"I am not afraid of you. I'm a trained assassin," Nagisa countered.

Nagisa looked as if he was ready to fight her.

My eyes lit up with curiosity at Nagisa's last statement.

I never expected a sweet and considerate boy like him to be an assassin.

"You don't scare me," Julie grumbled.

Julie then shifted her attention back to me.

"Do I make myself clear?" she asked loudly.

"Yes, ma'am," I answered softly.

Julie released me and marched back to her seat.
