Outside the locker room...

Midoriya had successfully snuck out of the locker room when everyone else was focusing on Marinette. He crouched underneath the staircase as he watched Chloe and Sabrina sneak out of the school together. They both looked like they needed to get out of there and fast. Without being spotted, Midoriya left the school and quietly followed behind them inconspicuously.

Even though he didn't have his quirk, he could still sneak around them pretty well. They didn't say much to each other as they walked away from the school, but Midoriya could hear Chloe mention that their cover was almost blown because of Marinette.

"That Broccoli Boy must've told her what's going on. They're becoming good friends with those losers that they probably know about Ladybug giving him that lame Rabbit Miraculous," Chloe said to Sabrina.

"Shh, Chloe!" Sabrina shushed her before she could accidentally reveal anything else, "Not so loud. Someone might hear us."

Chloe crossed her arms, and they both headed towards a place that Midoriya was very much familiar with.

It was the Mayor's Hotel. The Le Grand Paris Hotel.

Midoriya hadn't been there since Queen Wasp's attack on him. The stinging sensation all over his body started to come back to him once he spotted them entering the hotel. He was going to go in, but he noticed the Mayor was by the front desk. Watching from the front door, he waited for Chloe and Sabrina to leave the lounge area.

Unfortunately, it looked like she was angry at him, and it might take awhile. He could hear her yelling something about Marinette causing a scene at the school and that's why she's even here and not in school. The Mayor tried to give her something to calm her down, but that didn't seem to do the trick this time around.

Nonetheless, she still took the pearl necklace and headed up the stairs along with Sabrina.

Midoriya slowly opened the door in a crouched position, almost causing the bell next to it to ding. Luckily, he was able to open it enough to not do that and quietly walked past him when he wasn't looking. He was too busy trying to think of another way to make sure his daughter was okay. Like buy her a bracelet to go along with the necklace.

Shaking off how bad Midoriya felt for the Mayor, he quietly made his way up to the elevator. The door had already closed, and he could see that they were heading up to the rooftop.

He pressed the button and quickly made his way up.

The one thing he wish he had right now was his quirk. Even though he made it this far without one, it would still be handy to have it just in case he needed to get away real quickly. He hoped that whatever was up there wasn't anything he might regret seeing.

He was hoping he could grab his Miraculous and run out of there before it was too late. That was really the only plan he had.

Once the elevator doors were open, he quickly hid the moment Chloe and Sabrina looked behind them. They were almost out of the hallway, but heard the elevator door ding. Midoriya could hardly tell if they had already left or not. Before the doors could close however, Chloe stopped it and spotted him trying to sneak in without permission.

Except, she looked a lot different now. She was wearing the Dragon Miraculous and in full costume.

She was wearing a golden spandex with a black and red design swirling down her chest and all the way to her right foot. She had black and red gloves and boot. There was a unique design on her chest that had three symbols on them swirling together. Her mask was golden with dragon like horns around her hair that had red tips at the end of them. Her blue eyes were now a fierce, cold looking blue all around them. Her ponytail swirled to a pointy end with red and black streaks in it. She even had a golden sword to go all along with the costume.

Midoriya had a feeling she had the Dragon Miraculous, but he didn't think she might use it right in front of him. He crouched there with sweat beading down his forehead. He had a feeling he might get caught, but he had to get that Miraculous back. It was his quirk not hers.

She gave him a piercing glare, knowing full well what he was doing here.

"Well, if it isn't Broccoli Boy," Chloe said very menacingly.

She grabbed his collar and pulled him out of the elevator. He didn't expect her to be that strong, even with the Miraculous. Looking up from the floor, he faced Chloe and Sabrina. Sabrina hadn't used any Miraculous yet, even though Midoriya suspected her to have the Dog Miraculous.

"I know why you're here," Chloe said to him, "You want your lame excuse of a Miraculous back, don't you?"

Midoriya faced her with determination and sent a glare her way. He knew it. She had it, but she wasn't the one who took it.

He looked at Sabrina, and it caused her to take a step back towards the rooftop.

"It's not yours..." Midoriya growled at her, "Give it back, Sabrina."

Chloe held her sword threateningly towards him, and Sabrina ran for it. Midoriya tried to run after her, but he suddenly felt her grab his arm rather tightly.

"Lightning Dragon!" Chloe cried out and suddenly Midoriya witnessed her turn into lightning.

A sudden bolt of lightning struck all around the room, even Midoriya. He moved out of the way to get closer to the rooftop, but still got hit. As she formed back into herself, he quickly made a run for it.

"Hey! Broccoli Boy, get back here!"

Midoriya felt a stinging sensation similar to the last time he faced Chloe with a Miraculous, but tried to ignore the pain. He saw Sabrina holding his Miraculous, but spotted someone next to her. She looked like HawkMoth. Sabrina looked a little guilty for what she had done, but gave it to this HawkMoth person anyway.

"Sorry, Izuku," She said to him with a sly smile, "It looks like I win."

He felt his feet move before he had time to think about what he was doing, reaching out for his Miraculous. Tears ran down his face as he felt a dream come back to him. The one he had the night Sabrina had taken it away from him. One of the One for All holders had told him something, but before it could back to him, Chloe's voice rang out.

"Wind Dragon!"

Midoriya felt a gust of wind push him away, but he quickly gripped onto an umbrella attached to a table. He held onto it tightly until the wind died down a little bit. Chloe transformed back into herself once again, and the new HawkMoth stayed where she stood.

Midoriya fell to the floor, but made a run for the Miraculous once he landed. This HawkMoth or whoever she was didn't budge as he reached out for it, feeling something come over him. The Miraculous in her hand even seemed to glow as he got closer to it.

The shocked look on her face was enough to throw her off a bit and smack it out of her hand. He grabbed the Miraculous with so much joy that he didn't notice Chloe behind him.

"Water Dragon!"

A flood of water suddenly pushed him out of the way, causing him to go underwater. The wave knocked the Miraculous out of his hand, but he tried to reach out for it. It was right there, he had it right in his hands, and then he'd lost it again. The wave of water was too strong, and he felt himself falling towards the edge of the building. He quickly grabbed onto the railing and gripped it as tight as he could.

If he had the Miraculous, he could transform and get out of there quickly. But he didn't.

The new HawkMoth stood over him, holding the Miraculous with so much chivalry. Her eyes gave him such a cold feeling that he couldn't look away from them.

"Long time, no see Izuku."

In the streets of Paris...

Marinette and Adrien had transformed into Ladybug and Cat Noir once they got permission to look for their friend who was missing from class. Class 1-A tagged along, wishing that he was okay and didn't do anything stupid.

Bakugo knew right away something wasn't right. He spotted him leaving, but didn't want to say anything because he actually thought for once he wouldn't do something this stupid. Of course, he proved wrong once again.

"Deku, you better not be doing what I think you're doing. Not without your quirk," Bakugo thought to himself, "Not without AllMight around."

"EraserHead, do you see him anywhere?" Ladybug asked their teacher, who was looking ahead of them.

EraserHead looked around for any sign of him, but didn't spot him anywhere. If he had his quirk, it'd be easier to spot him with all that green energy around him.

"No, he's not here," EraserHead said to everyone, "Whatever fight you got into with Chloe, it better not have caused anything to rile up my student."

EraserHead was not happy with Marinette. She should've gone to him right away, but instead she decided to go straight to the one who might've taken Midoriya's Miraculous in the first place. He knew right away Midoriya was after it, and he wouldn't stop until he found it. Since his quirk didn't quite work well in this Paris, he kind of understood what he was feeling. Nonetheless, he still had to have a talk with him once they found him and went back to the school.

"Since Izuku is following Chloe and Sabrina, it's possible that they headed back to the Mayor's hotel," Ladybug cried out as she ran on top of a rooftop along with Cat Noir, "We'll head over there now. Ochaco and Bakugo, you two head over with us."

EraserHead nodded his head, surprising his class of students.

"I'll take the rest of my class over to the Effiel Tower and spread out," EraserHead said to her.

They all split up looking for Midoriya, Ladybug a little bit more ahead of them. She noticed Bakugo trying to speed up using his explosions and never realized how fast he was with his quirk. It was quite impressive to watch him fly through the sky like that.

"What? What're you looking at me like that for?!" Bakugo cried at Ladybug, "Don't think you're the fastest one here, Ladybug! I'm definitely faster than you!"

Ladybug was surprised to notice he had stopped calling names and felt a smile form on her face.

"Oh, is that so?" Ladybug said as she swung her yo-yo towards a building and catapulted closer towards the hotel. Bakugo smiled and let out an explosion from the palms of his hands. Uraraka tried to keep up, but Cat Noir jumped away from the group and over to her.

He noticed she looked more upset as they got closer to where Midoriya might possibly be. She needed a minute to catch her breath.

"Are you okay, Ochaco?" Cat Noir asked her.

"Ye-Yeah... I just... really thought that Deku wouldn't pull off something like this. Not after what happened last time with..."

Uraraka trailed off as he realized who she was talking to. Cat Noir's ears drooped a little, but he stepped closer to her for comfort.

"We'll get him back. I'm sure we'll find him sooner this time around," He told her.

Uraraka smiled at him and he offered her a piggyback ride. She even activated her quirk on them to make it easier to traverse.

Ladybug and Bakugo were almost there, but then noticed a wave of water on the rooftop. It confused Bakugo as to why there was a wave that big on the rooftop, but when he looked at Ladybug, she looked like she knew what that was.

"The Dragon Miraculous..." Ladybug mumbled, but Bakugo could clearly hear her.

He looked back at the hotel and noticed someone falling out of the wave and holding onto the edge of the building. Ladybug squinted her eyes and spotted green, wet hair, causing her to accelerate using her yo-yo.

"Izuku!" Ladybug yelled out as Bakugo caught up to her.

Ladybug wanted to reach out to EraserHead somehow, but she didn't have the communicator device on her like last time.

"Bakugo, I need you to--"

Suddenly, Bakugo flew past her with no hesitation and headed straight for Midoriya. He could tell the water around the railing was making his grip loosen, so Bakugo quickly launched towards his childhood friend.

"Deku!" Bakugo cried out.

Midoriya had no time to look as he felt the railing slip out of his grip. Bakugo's eyes widened as he slowed down a bit to have Midoriya land in his arms. It felt like everything happened in slow motion as he finally caught Midoriya and kept going.

Even Ladybug had a moment in the air and spotted someone that looked like HawkMoth. Her eyes met with theirs and couldn't look away. Once she past them, she wanted to make sure Midoriya was okay.

"Ka-Kacchan?!" Midoriya cried over the wind.

"I can't believe you would do something this stupid again!" Bakugo cried back to him.

Midoriya looked back at the hotel and all he could see was the new HawkMoth watching them leave the area. With the Miraculous in her hand, he was almost tempted to break out of Bakugo's grip and go after her. He knew he wouldn't get anywhere with Bakugo around.

Tears ran down his face as the wind picked them up and blew it away. Bakugo noticed and looked back to see Ladybug following him. Even Cat Noir and Uraraka were starting to catch up to them. He kept quiet once they got closer to the Eiffel Tower. They could both see Class 1-A and EraserHead looking around for Midoriya.

Bakugo slowly came to a halt and landed right in front of the class. With Midoriya in his arms, everyone was so surprised to see them so close.

"Izuku!" Ladybug called out as she landed behind them.

She came running towards him and gave him a big hug, even surprising him.

"What were you thinking?!" Ladybug cried out once she let go of him, "Running off like that without your Miraculous. You could've been hurt!"

Midoriya sat there looking dumbfounded by how upfront Ladybug was about this. He didn't even know what to say, until he spotted Bakugo.

"Kacchan? I..." Midoriya said as tears started to build up again.

Midoriya looked down at his hands to realize that he wasn't able to grab his Miraculous. He had it for a moment, but Chloe got the upper hand and took it from him. He remembered seeing someone that looked like HawkMoth. Only it wasn't HawkMoth.

"I... lost my quirk... it was right there, and I couldn't reach it in time," Midoriya said as he felt tears roll down his cheeks, "I'm... quirkless."

Bakugo didn't bother to say anything back and just let him cry it out.

Cat Noir and Uraraka both appeared behind them. He let her down onto the ground, and she ran right to her boyfriend. Even the rest of Class 1-A had finally reached them.

"Midoriya!" Iida cried out as Uraraka embraced him.

They all noticed that their friend was crying, so he let Uraraka took care of it. EraserHead stepped up as their teacher looking a little pissed off.

"M-Mr. Aizawa!" Midoriya cried as he quickly wiped his tears, "I-I'm sorry for running off like that."

Midoriya stood up, looking down at the floor to hide his face from everyone around him.

"You don't have to worry about it anymore. I lost my Miraculous... the new HawkMoth has it..." He said to them.

All of his classmates gasped as they realized he had faced this person, whoever they were. Even Ladybug and Cat Noir were shocked to find out about this. Ladybug didn't think Midoriya would see her, let alone talk to her.

"Yo-You faced her?!" Ladybug said to him, "Did she say anything to you?!"

"She?" Cat Noir asked Ladybug.

"Yeah, this new HawkMoth is obviously Lila. She's the only one that would be able to pull this off, especially with Chloe around."

Midoriya looked a little pale when he remembered seeing her sly smile as Sabrina gave her the Rabbit Miraculous. Even when he was dangling over the rooftop, she still had that same look on her face.

"No, but she definitely knew me," Midoriya said to them.

All of his classmates looked at him like they all wanted to give him a group hug.

Ladybug looked down and then stepped up as Guardian of the Miraculous.

"No. I'm gonna let them take your Miraculous away from you, not when it could be the key to getting all of you guys back home," Ladybug said to him.

Class 1-A all looked up at Ladybug and then back to their friend. Even Bakugo looked surprised by this realization. Uraraka and Jirou were the only ones that knew about this.

"Wait a minute, are you saying that our way back home is through Midoriya's quirk?" Iida asked her.

Ladybug shared a sad look with Cat Noir, but they stood together as Parisian's Heroes to help their friends out in any way they could.

"Yes. Izuku's quirk is important to getting you guys home."

Class 1-A couldn't believe this. The one thing they need to get home is in the hands of the new HawkMoth.

Another amazing chapter!

Midoriya tried to get his Miraculous back, but things didn't go according to plan. Chloe transformed and they were able to get the Miraculous to Chrysalis. Midoriya almost had it, but the Dragon Miraculous was just too strong without his quirk. Bakugo saved the day! Class 1-A, Ladybug and Cat Noir found him just in time.

Midoriya seems to be quirkless now, but things are still in motion.
