Issei awoke. It was midnight, Rias and Irina were asleep beside him. Koneko hadn't crept into the room, so it wasn't 3 in the morning yet.
Something was wrong.
His eyes flitted to the windows. The glass was open but the grill and the curtains were in place. They moved to look at the door. It was closed tight and unlocked.
Ah, that was it.
Issei heard the buzzing of the wings of a mosquito.
A filthy pest has entered the sanctuary of the beast.
Issei deftly moved from in between his wives without waking them. A thousand tentacles aimed at the pesky little blood sucker, ready to maim and kill. The bugger flew merrily on its way, unaware of its doom.
Issei struck. A quick clap in the air should've put the sucker down for good, a coup de grace that snuffed out all life in an area of effect. Should've.
The mosquito got away, flying up and down as if laughing at Issei's dilemma.
"Oh, it is on!" Issei whispered to the mosquito, a fiery look in his eyes.
The mosquito taunted him by going right in front of his face. Issei clapped his hands without making a sound. He missed and the mosquito went on its jolly way with a smug smile on its face. Issei made his hands larger and clapped.
The mosquito dodged with all of its might. It gritted its teeth as it dodged the large hands of Issei. She would not die here! PLUS ULTRA! It circled around and dodged all the tentacles and arms coming its way to crush it.
Issei grunted as all of his attacks missed. "No, I am not pulling a Juan Punch man scene. I still have my hair!" he said to himself.
The mosquito on the other hand was tired after having to go through acrobatics. She saw a nice piece of food and decided to land on a nice soft spot. She pulled out its needle and stuck it in. She hummed merrily as delicious blood flowed through her mouth and into her stomach.
"Oh, no you don't!" Issei roared, quietly of course. He prepared his hand to flatten the mosquito. And swat the mosquito he did, along with Irina's soft bum. The mosquito died, between a hand and a soft place. It was splattered right on Irina's buttcheek, a bloody splotch on her smooth milky ass.
"Iya~?!" Irina awoke from the spank that she got. The drowsiness immediately left her eyes and she was wide awake. "Issei, I know I told you that you could use my body wherever and whenever, but," Irina flushed, "Spanking me to wake up is too much for me." She hid her lower face with her oversized shirt.
Rias simply slept.
"I'm sorry," Issei spoke in a hushed whisper. "There was an intruder."
"What was the intruder?"
"A female."
"What kind of female."
"A blood sucking one."
"A vampire intruded?" Irina had a confused expression on her face. She yawned.
"Just get some sleep, Love," Issei whispered to her.
"Cuddle me?" Irina asked as she lay back down and opened her arms towards Issei.
Issei nodded and lay down again, now that the threat has been neutralized. He snuggled against Irina, wrapping his arms around her (and sending a stray tentacle to clean off the mess on his wife's butt.) He kissed her on the cheek and she smiled while she closed her eyes to sleep.
"I love you, Irina."
"I love you too, Issei."
The door creaked open and a small figure entered the room. It closed the door softly and moved to snuggle in between Irina and Issei. It was a tight fit, but she was tucked in there quite comfortably. Her two tails swished from side to side and her ears twitched in happiness.
Issei sighed. "Koneko…"
"Nya~." the petite girl mewled playfully as she looked into Issei's eyes.
Irina laughed softly. She adjusted so that Koneko would have a bit more space to comfortably move around. "It's like having a kid, Love."
"Yeah, only that this kid is going to be my wife next year."
Koneko nodded as she curled her tail around Issei's leg. She wrapped her arms around Issei also, sneaking her petite arms around his bare waist.
Irina giggled, her arms shifting so they went around Issei's neck. "Speaking of vampires, I heard that they were sending a helper as repayment for the arbitration of the peace treaty last year."
"That could be. I haven't heard anything from Sensei or Lady Carmilla yet though."
"This house is slowly getting bigger, Ise."
Issei chuckled. "It will get bigger still in the future."
"Mmhmmm," Irina hummed in affirmation. "I want to have kids soon."
"Well… We've been trying," Issei grinned wryly. "I don't know though. My parents want us to finish high school before any kids."
"And here I thought they wanted kids immediately."
"That was mostly them joking."
Irina cracked a small smile at that and they lapsed into peaceful silence once again.
"Ah, Issei," Koneko broke the silence just before Irina was able to fall back into sleep. Irina peaked through one eye. "I heard that Ingvild has finished her check up?"
"She did?" Issei asked. "Who did you hear it from?"
"Rias was talking with her cousin Bael this afternoon over the phone, nya," Koneko said. She furrowed her eyebrows slightly before grinning. "I didn't hear all of it, but I did catch something like that!"
"I see, maybe Rias will share that with us tomorrow," Issei said. He yawned. "You should go to sleep, Koneko."
"Yes. Good night~" Koneko buried face close to Issei's chest. Her tails swished around one last time before curling around her own leg. She yawned and them promptly went to sleep.
"Good night, Love."
"Good night Ise."
The Hyoudou family went to sleep after the mosquito incident. Rias would wake up the next morning and find the three still snuggling together. She smiled softly and then set out to prepare for the day.
